Hi there. Im Andrew. Originally from Ireland but have been living in Australia since 1998. Im moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in April with my partner Kris. We have been together for just under six months and are taking the mature view of not moving in together just yet while we still get to know one and other. How adult!? Crazy right? I work full time and study part time normally although taking a break from study to settle in to Melbourne life. I have been interviewing for jobs already and will continue to do so whilst still living in Brisbane. I already have some great opportunities and want to start work as soon as I arrive. Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. Im a music lover, sports fan, outdoor type so love going on weekend adventures out of town. Im pretty quiet around home when studying and always make sure to keep a clean home.
Im a down to earth person who is able to get along with most people. Im friendly and like a chat but also enjoy my own space and understand the need for personal space and privacy. I am clean and tidy and enjoy cooking. I am living of my regular superannuation payments. I pay my rent and bills on time.
I'm hardly ever home and I'm clean. I have enough good quality furniture to fill a 2 bedroom apartment so preferably looking for a garage to store it. I come with 2 very friendly Burmese cats. I have 2 jobs so I'm not home much. I am a smoker (outside is fine) and don't pry into peoples lives. I respect privacy but i am friendly. I also prefer off street parking. I don't have crazy ex's or kids.
I'm from India. I am used to Flat-sharing. I'm neat, tidy guy. can help with house-hold chores. Will love to help you in cooking (Considering, you won't kill me if i make mistakes). I would love to play with your pet, if you have one, but if you don't, it's alright. Very helpful and have little bit of handsomeness from my papa.. Would love to hear from you! :)
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to help with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Looking to move pretty much as soon as I can, and looking for long-term like at least 12 months, but I'm easy. Any other questions let me know!
Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm running my own small company in the sustainable fashion space but also working full time. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.
Hi! I'm french but I actually live in Spain for 8 years now. I'm working on a PhD in Political Studies and as a french teacher as well. I'm coming to Melbourne to study at La Trobe University and to conduct some of my PhD fieldwork. I've shared flats since I was 18 and I enjoy to have a good chat and laugh with nice and interesting people, but I also like to have my own space to study or listen music. I'm not really into sports but at least I try to keep fit. I do love music (to play and listen), movies and books. I really love pets (both cats and dogs) but I don't have one of my own.
Clean, honest, pays rent on time and friendly. Happy to have a glass of wine or a beer. Also happy to hide in my room and not socialise. Chris is studying a Diploma of Bioscience and Devon (DJ) is studying a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery, both at LTU. Smart, funny, sarcastic. The whole package really.
Hi, I'm Nate, quiet and tidy, can cook and bake, like to play board games and the keyboard (but don't worry, I can plug in headphones and only I have to listen to myself play)
Hi, my name is Luis, 27years old, brazilian graphic designer. I'm searching for a tidy and confy place to share with some nice and respectful people. Friendly and easygoing guy who likes pets, to chill and watch some movies, talk over a glass of wine or beer, play videogames, go out to parties from time to time (but not that much). Also i have the need for some personal space, so I like to spend some time alone with my thoughts.
I am very social and love getting to know people, but I do like to have my own quiet down time which is when I usually find time to sit in a park or just hideout in my room. I am not a crazy party animal but I am constantly on the go! Aside from catching up with friends and trying out new food places, I love travelling and cooking. I am clean, responsible and respectful and have previous housemates and landlords who will attest to this! I am organised and caring individual who is full of positive energy. Currently, I am a hospitality professional and juggle that with part time dance school. I am looking for friendly and caring housemates who are respectful of people and things. People who also take pride in where they live and keep it clean and tidy.
Hey im an easy going female who is looking to move out of home. I need to move to be closer to work. I have a 8month black spoodle who would come with me. He is very friendly and loves people and other dogs. He is toilet trained and has many tricks.
I'm easygoing, reliable and love a good conversation. Outside of my full time working hours working in facilities management, I play guitar, love running/hiking and exploring new places. In summer I pretty much spend most of my spare time at the beach. I like to keep busy, am a non smoker and drink socially only.
Both studying at La Trobe, 2 clean and social guys who like to be around fun loving people who are accepting of people different or the same as them, not looking for party animals who are going to be banging on the door in the am to get in every weekend maybe once a month is okay). We both work part time and have relatively stable rosters but they sometimes change up a bit in the holidays. We have been looking solo for 2 months now but have found the market is too competitive for students atm with a lot of full time workers or families taking the leases we're applying for, we thought this might be worth trying. Drop us a message to find out more about us :)
I've done the full-circle in the past 18 months, moving from Melbourne, to Sydney, to Albury / Wodonga, and now I am returning back to Melbourne to settle in the one spot! I've lived in share houses for the past 8 years and as such am very respectful and understanding of others belongings and spaces around a residence. I'm very clean (not OCD), appreciate things being neat and tidy, and leave things as I found them. Growing up a country boy, I'm not cut out for the big city lights and noise (I tried...and failed), I much prefer plants, dirt, and sounds of nature. I'd therefore like to live near my place of work in Donvale or surrounding areas. I work as a construction manager in the Commercial sector, exercise quite a bit in the martial arts & distance running, enjoy eating out with friends, and am quite the nerd when it comes to books / podcasts / useless information. I am definitely not a party animal these days, but do appreciate a good conversation over a quiet drink.
Hi, I'm Mat! I’m a neat and tidy guy, I’m pretty quiet and have excellent taste in films and Thai food. I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University in the city. I currently live in Werribee so would like to find a new place much closer to the city. I spend most of my time studying either at home or at uni. I am financially secure and a considerate housemate. I worked for iiNet for many years and am excellent at helping to fix internet issues and providing free in-house IT help for housemates! I enjoy tending to the garden, watching movies, live music, playing video games and getting out of the house to see friends. I'm also exploring the world of health & fitness. My preference is to find a place north of the city, close to public transport and shops. Happy to answer any other questions you have, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Hi there! I have spent last two years travelling in Australia and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
Hi I'm Chris, I'm 24 years old, working in a startup company and will have a 2nd job part-time after I finish my Masters Degree. I enjoy making things: I.e laser tag guns, wearables etc. I also enjoy reading, computer games and jogging. I'm fairly relaxed and when I invite friends over I prefer smaller numbers, normally 2-5 people.
People will describe me as fun, easy going, organised, tidy (that's the designer in me), dog lover and have a lot of determination with my day to day life. I've put myself out there as I'm looking to move out of home and would love someone who can open up their place to share with. I believe I can be very easy to live with, as I am flexible and willing to help out when it is required. I work full time and have a balanced social life. If you have a pet, I'd gladly take care of them as if it was my own. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I am the ideal candidate :)
* Matt (single) * Employed full time in the sheet metal industry in Thomastown * Quiet, reserved guy but not anti-social by any means * Lived by myself and with others in my 10 year stay in Melbourne. This is open to change though, alot can happen in 9 months * Enjoy most sports and attend an AFL match most weekends and tend to watch the majority of others on TV. Ha. You could say a little sports crazy * A whiz at warming things up in the oven. Thats about as far my cooking skills extend. * Not looking for party house so ideally you wouldnt be that way inclined but do enjoy a beer or two on a friday/saturday night
My name is terri, I am 25, female and have a full time job and looking for a little place I can relax in, after a long day at work . I am a really tidy and respectful person who I loves photography and design, I also enjoy keeping fit, writing and scuba diving.
I appreciate a clean and especially harmonic atmosphere. I don't like fighting and would rather find a win win solution for everybody. I consider myself respectful and tidy. As a singer-songwriter I come with my Ukulele. Love going out (Karaoke, Bar, Shows, Movies). Love cooking vegetarian or vegan food and spend quality time with people. Always curious about other people and their view of the world. People say I'm pretty chill.

Hi there. I am impeccably reliable, honest and greatly respect a home that's not mine. I have a clean rental record, am NON-SMOKER. Love pets even though I don't have any of my own...sure happy to enjoy yours with you... I love family guy and SNL sketch comedy and at the moment am on a real fitness focus..I am a performer and entertainer by trade and work in and around melbourne. I'm looking for a home where i can balance private recharging time with some relaxed communal time...maybe a glass of red or a beer? Do you fancy a quiet drink or a laugh? Happy to consider options anywhere within half hour of the CBD. I greatly appreciate your offers - thank you!
I'm a laid back but tidy gal who enjoys painting, knitting and a glass of wine and a chat from time to time. I'm vegan, LGBTQI+ friendly and supportive, typically fairly quiet and always conscientious of others. I enjoy gardening and I love to cook, so I will on occasion cook big communal meals! I am originally from California, moved out to Melbourne for love and stayed for the awesome people and beautiful city. I work in Preston where I manage an online store and I have two fluffy, very well behaved kitties who would be coming with me-they are very calm and spend most of the day sleeping or searching for a ray of sunlight to lay in. 🌞
Hi! I'm moving from Townsville to Melbourne in June to go to La Trobe University, and am looking for a housemate/housemates to live with close to campus. I'm a quiet, clean person, and am always up for making new friends. I have a border collie and a kitten that are moving with me, so I'm looking for pet-friendly accommodation. I've never been to Melbourne, so I'm hoping to move in with someone that I can be friends with, and we can explore the city together.
I'm happy, easy going and very clean :-) love to make a house feel like a home and undertake any extra work to keep a property looking good! I love watching FRIENDS, cooking, listening to 80s music, watching videos of dogs on YouTube and going on adventures! I am an experienced renter wishing to live closer to my work, preferably somewhere leafy and peaceful like Eltham or Greensborough as I love nature 😊✌🏻️🍃 I don't smoke, I'm respectful of others and very much enjoy being independent. I'm also somewhat flexible with my move date.
Hey future housemate/s! I'm Wayne, looking for a room to rent ideally in the Northern suburbs for under $200 p/w. About me: 25, psych grad, sociable, neat and tidy, respectful. Artistic/creative type. Love travel, guitar, good food, good company, occasional drink and night out. Recently returned from a working holiday in Europe, excited to be back in Melbourne. Doing some TV commercial/extra work occasionally but should have some regular work lined up shortly.
-----FEMALES ONLY----- Hello :) I'm looking for a team up of a friendly, as well as dog friendly, professional female who would like to team up and go halves in paying bond in a two bedroom secure apartment complex in well to do, but reasonably priced areas, such as Kew, or Ivanhoe. I figured if we get a two bedroom apartment for around $400-$450 then the cost would be quite cheap! I am going to inspect a few in the next two weeks, I haven't found a place yet, i figured if there's anyone out there in the same position as me we could possibly find one together and sign the lease together as well? I am a 27 year old Massage therapist and Beauty therapist, I'm a bit of a hippy, I enjoy personal and spiritual development, healthy clean food & positivity. I have hardly any hang ups and would prefer to live with someone who basically, has their shit together too. I do not party and I do not want a party house or a flatmate that is inclined that way- Although the occasional vino is okay, I'm not a total health freak as Im unfortunately still a smoker : ) My dog is 9 years old, small breed, toilet trained, loving & gentle. I'm home whenever I'm not at work, I don't believe in keeping my dog cooped up on her own for long, so i spend most of my time with her or with friends. Get in touch if this sounds like you!
I'm musical, artistic and easy going. I like my own space but I'd also love to have housemates I can socialise with, maybe occasionally share meals and hang out. I'm fun loving and friendly. I'm also very honest with the people in my life. When it comes to conflicts or interpersonal issues, I like to sit down and talk it out like adults in order to find a mutually agreeable solution. I'm a non-judgemental person, and I try to keep an open mind. I'd love to live with people who have a similar approach to life. I'm generally tidy and organised but I'm not too uptight about it. I like to live in colourful, cosy places.
Hi there, my name is Jemma, and I'm a full time teacher in Melbourne's east. I am a super friendly, clean and respectful housemate looking for a quiet and clean place to call home :) I work fairly long hours during term time (generally gone by 7am ish and return around 5.30ish) so I tend to prefer to lay low during the week, maybe watch a little bit of TV in the evening, read and hit the hay before 10pm. On the weekends I enjoy going for a walk, cooking, coffee, a cheeky glass of red and getting to the gym when I can.
Hi I'm Katrina and I work in professional services. In my spare time, I'm equally as happy to chill over a glass of wine/coffee or go on random adventures with my friends. I've lived in a few share houses now so I understand housemate etiquette and I know how to keep a place tidy. Looking for easy going housemates that don't mind the occasional communial dinner/drinks but also respect privacy.
Originally from the country, have lived in Melbourne now for 4 years. Work full time as a plumber. I'm clean and tidy and also respect people's privacy. Love footy, cooking, keeping fit and getting back home to see the family.

I am currently in my final semester at Latrobe studying Business. I have just returned from a year abroad and need a room for at least 6 months in the vicinity of Latrobe in Bundoora. I have my own car so public transport isn't a necessity. I will be working hard this semester and playing sports so can be independent, but also look to go out on the weekends.
My current roomie Hayley and I are looking for 1-2 other people to start a new share house with in the Inner North East! (All to have private rooms) About you: Looking for young people (e.g 23 – 35 years) who have experience in share house living. We want sociable people who are happy to share a glass of wine or cup of tea together when we cross paths however still independent with their own lives and respectful of privacy. It would be nice to have communal dinner together with Netflix or board games occasionally (obviously when time permits/schedules align!). Looking for open-minded individuals who enjoy North side living that keep communal areas clean (At our current place we have a rotating cleaning roster and a house kitty for buying cleaning products- we would be establishing this at the new place too). We aren’t looking to create a “party” house but casual drinks on weekends with friends is fine/ so is the occasional party- we just wouldn’t want you to be throwing raging parties every weekend. We are looking for people that LOVE animals as we have 3 TINY pets (please see description below). About the potential house: We are looking at 3 - 4 bedroom places – 3 bedroom places no higher than $570 total per week and 4 bedroom places no higher than $750 total per week. Splitting the rent would depend on the features of the room (e.g a master bedroom with ensuite would be more). We’re ideally looking for houses (not apartments) as we want a backyard and we would be starting a veggie patch. Also we both have cars so we are looking at places that have ample space for off street/ driveway parking. We have a lot of furniture (e.g fridge, washing machine, lounge, lots of homewares) but there would be room for some of your stuff (if you have any) as we can keep ours in storage if need be. However you would need to supply furniture for your own bedroom. About us: Liv: 26, over 6 years experience in share house living. Runs programs for adults with intellectual disabilities (Mon- Fri) whilst studying a Bachelor of Nutrition (so is very busy!). Animal obsessed, die hard triple J listener that enjoys catching live music and can make a sweet playlist. Clean freak and very house proud. Enjoys food festivals/markets, roof top beverages, a good day trip to explore all of the beautiful walks/parks that Melbourne has to offer! Would probably clash with strong right wings! Hayley: 23, dental nurse, originally from Bendigo. Also loves animals. Hippie that enjoys live music, Netflix binges, online shopping, bush doofs and checking out new bars/cafes in Melbourne! THE PETS; Boo & Ruby are two tiny indoor dogs that you could fit in one handbag however not the type that "yap", both are very quiet and well behaved. They are very clean dogs that attend the dog groomer every 6 weeks. Both are very friendly dogs that love lap cuddles however are well exercised and walked around 5km every day! They win absolutely everyone ever. Dexter is quite a reserved cat who loves dogs but unfortunately is petrified of cats so we are not in a position to take on another cat- sorry :( If you think that we would be people you would get along with, please get in touch! Our move date is flexible- we just need to give 4 weeks notice so wouldn't want to get stuck paying double rent for too long! Cheers :)

I do work part time at a bank but I'm also running my own business as well as hanging out and going on adventures with my puppy. A place that is important to me with flatmates I care about. :) I have been in few share houses since arriving in Melbourne 13 years ago (French-Tunisian originally and now Australian). I am definitely house trained, tidy, respectful and fun with a capacity for deep conversation too. I like getting to know the people I live with. Some of my best friends are ex-flatmates. I enjoy time alone as much as time with others. I live a beautiful life with meditation practice, dancing, working as a psychotherapist, locuming as a social worker, improv theatre, swimming almost everyday and attending some workshops or gigs. I would love to meet you all by coming in for an interview. Jamine :)
I recently just got a graduate nursing position with Austin health which involves doing 8 shifts a fortnight and I would be around the house or visiting friends when I am not working. I have been living in share houses all through uni and I like to think I am an easy going person but I do like to keep things clean. I have been a vegetarian for years now but would be willing to cook meals with people. I have a beautiful dog called Bee who is a Border Collie, so I would prefer a house that has a backyard.
