I'm a 4th year medical student new to Newcastle looking for somewhere to live during the remainder of the semester. I'm originally from Sydney but I've lived in sharehouses in Armidale for the past 3years and I was recently living in Sweden for 6months. I am on placement at the John Hunter Hospital and generally spend most of the day there throughout the week. I'm very active and I go to the gym regularly. I also play volleyball and football (soccer) socially. I am easy-going and very neat and tidy. I tend to keep myself especially with studying but I'm always keen to get around a bit of banter, sport and trashy reality TV shows.
Hi everyone! Patrick and I are both quite the nerds. We both enjoy gaming on PCs and Patrick also enjoys gaming on his console. So we wouldn't be in anyones hair unless you game of course :P I do like to cook, mainly prepping on a Sunday for the week ahead, so you will mostly only run into me in the kitchen. We do enjoy a couple of drink every so often, but overall don't party, and do not smoke. Looking for an apartment with either another person or another couple, so the house isn't too crowded. We would also like to have our own bathroom if possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us :)
I am moving from Forster to Newcastle, trying to get a traineeship in early childhood! Im 21 in April, and am trying to find a nice quiet place to move to! Im fairly laid back, love just hanging out, watching TV, cooking and am super easy to get along with. Im super excited to get into a new place and live closer to my friends and more opportunity for me to get into studying and working.
Hi :) I have been living in share houses for 6 years now, and I'm really sick of having my stuff stolen and damaged so I'd really love my own place, or even to share with just one other like-minded and lovely lady. I work in medical administration and I am in between studying different medical degrees. I am creative and would love some space to paint but that's not the biggest necessity. I'm friendly and social but also keep to myself a lot and love my sleep. Won't lie, I'm a huge nerd and also a huge environmentalist. I just really care about a lot of things aha. I'm generally really quiet and polite and clean and I like to keep things relaxed. I have been professionally renting through real estate for over 2 years now, at 2 different locations, so I have a good rental history, and I know how to look after a property and respect other people and their belongings. I'm really aiming to get my own place, but I definitely want out of where I'm currently living by the end of the lease in October so I am open to moving into an already established house. I'd only like to live with one other person though and I'd love for us to get along well and have a lovely homey environment. If you have a full property, granny flat, or just a spare room in a nice house I'd love to hear from you :)
Hi there! I'm 25, work part time and I am brand new to Newcastle. People seem to like me because I am polite, and I'm rarely late ;) Conceited at first, but definitely become more outgoing after getting a couple drinks in me. Currently working afternoon shifts on weekdays so I'll be out of the way for most of the evening. Currently without a car so walking to distance to shops and public transport is ideal. Hopefully wish to find a place in or near the CBD. Looking to move in ASAP so feel free to shoot me a message whenever :)
I’m a trainee assistant pharmacist and will be attending UON in 2019 to study pharmacy. I’m neat and tidy and don’t have a problem with helping out around the place with cooking or cleaning. I’m friendly and get along with everyone especially if you like greys anatomy, Harry Potter and dogs 👍 I’m not a party animal but love a girls night in and am always down to go out for coffee ☕️
I’m a very easy going bloke. I’m not home a lot because I work full time and work most weekends. Very easy to get along with and clean and tidy around the house. I’m a non smoker and enjoy having a drink or 2 on the weekend. In the Warmer months I enjoy being at the beach everyday.
I am a very friendly and nice person. Id love to live with people whos always positive and fit. I love to socialise and help if needed. Im a very active person who is always at the gym or beach. I am from mayfield atm and currently working at charlestown. Thats why im looking for a place closer to my work due of me not having my ps yet. But overall im a responsible person. Prefect at school and a captain for my volleyball team (:
Im 31 and currently attending UON for my postgraduate studies and I work part time as well. I'm quiet, tidy and considerate. Dont mind pets I would consider myself fun and outgoing however do value both your privacy as well as my own. With that being said, I do treasure meaningful friendships and thoughtful conversations over a couple of beers! Please hit me up if you have a suitable apartment/home, or if you're also hunting for apartments/home and think we'd be a good fit! Cheers!
I have house shared for years after leaving home. I keep a clean house and love to socialise with new people and old friends. While I'm not the best cook I love a good cook up to share a meal with people. I have a 2 year old cat who is indoor and outdoor- generally roams all day and comes into my room of a night. I am looking to move only because my current housemate is getting hitched and I am getting ditched :P
Have a steady income from work so can always pay rent, in Year 11 so won't be home during school hours, when home will be studying quietly in room. I'm generally quiet & don't make much noise, I don't have a lot of stuff and won't take up much space. Fine to take care of some cleaning and will buy and prepare own food, will always cleanup after myself. Have my own car so I can transport myself. Only really need a room to sleep and ok to share a bathroom and everything else.
A very outdoor person but still love me-time at home. Helping my friend with his business at the moment while exploring courses that i can take up here.
Hi there, Am a Student at the University of Newcastle currently in the process of getting my masters of professional accounting degree, i also work full time as a Nurse with Anglican care. I am friendly, easy going and a respectful housemate.I have big respect for someone else's belongings, I keep my space and things clean and I am not a loud person. For fun, I like knowing new places, doing new stuff, hanging out with friends (and why not making new ones?) i am an adventurous person. I am very tidy and dont even mind doing some house cleaning chores if needed to help out around the house. Interests include swimming at the ocean bath / long walks which helps me relax and meditate, I enjoy gaming (own a PS4) especially adventure games.
Environmental worker for the mines. Pretty go with the flow type of person, happy to have a drink and catch up or just do our own things; whatever you're into. I cook (always too much, but happy to share) and like to keep a clean space. Bit of a homebody through the week because of early starts with work, but like to make the most of my weekends.
I feel I am quite a nice person, I am usually quiet, however I do enjoy a drink or six on the weekend. I am really interested in making friends, it is terribly lonely living by yourself. I work full time and generally head to dance class most afternoons. I like a tidy uncluttered house, but can deal with a small mess for a short period of time. I have a 4 year old cat named James- Baxter, she is litter trained, however spends most of her time outside exploring, she does like to come in for a cuddle at night. She is the most friendly cat - stranger danger isn't much of a thing for her.
Hi I'm Steven! I'm a postgraduate student at the University of Newcastle. I recently moved here from Scotland to study and am looking for a share house close to Callaghan campus. I am a very friendly person, always up for a chat but I will also respect your privacy! I love to socialise so would be looking for flatmates who would be keen to go for the odd drink or to share the odd meal with!
Hi! I'm a 29 year old phd student from Romania. I' ve been in Australia for a little less than two years. I'm warm and social (except in the morning before i have my coffee). I love having chats on any topic (philosophy, trump, the best dishwasher soap... you name it), being goofy, occasional dinner parties, going to the beach, dancing salsa, traveling and of course banter. We can't be friends unless we can call each other c*** and a**hole. I'm a huge movie buff and a pretentious jazz listener. On top of my research scholarship, I work as an academic staff member at UoN and a few other small part time jobs. I'm looking for a nice place relatively close to the university of newcastle, callaghan campus, to share with a few fun, social, clean people. Hope to meet you soon! Thanks Cheers Andrei
I am easy going. I do not drink or party but i still like to be social. I work as a nurse and i have just graduated from uon. Looking to rent a modern appartment in newcastle area preferred unfurnished. Please msg me for a teamup.
Hey hey, Very easy going guy studying business and information technology. Spend most of my time with friends studying at work or at the beach ( summer is coming!) Don't mind going out at all but not the biggest fan of bringing the party back home, hate the aftermath cleaning hah! I also have a chihuahua which I would absolutely love to bring with me but is not a must. cheers :)

I'm an easy going person ,not too fussy about things.I'm good with cooking my own food but most times i'll probably be at the UNI or work.I'd love to stay at a place where i can chill with my housemates but i respect privacy as well.
I am extremely clean and enjoy having a clean place to live. I also like to play sports, I am a non-smoker and like to travel. Im also from Canada! I study at the University of Newcastle and need short term stay to complete my summer school classes
We are a fun and chill couple. We love to socialise but also appreciate relaxing quiet. We enjoy having a few beers around a fire but aren't much of party people. We keep neat and tidy and aren't afraid to do our fair share of house work. We work at the markets on the weekends and study full time. Here is a bit about us: Alex- I am a full time student studying to be a Mechatronics Engineer. I have lived in Newcastle my whole life. Music is my passion and I love going to a friend's house and just having a jam. I love video games and have been stuck on Fortnite. Gabby- I moved here from Hawaii almost 2 years ago. I am a dual citizen for Australia and the USA. I am also a full time student working on a double degree of Computer Systems Engineer and Computer Science. I go to Sydney every weekend to see my grandparents. I have a weird mix of interests ranging from video games to crochet.
Hello! We are a couple in our mid-twenties from Sydney who will be moving to Newcastle/Hunter Region. I am studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science in Sydney and work part-time, and will be transferring to the University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus and would prefer accommodation within 10-15 minutes from campus and near public transport. My partner currently works full-time, and enjoys the outdoors, but likes his down time as well. We are quiet people, neat and tidy, we won't mind sharing the house chores or having a chat :). Our preferred accommodation would be in a flat or house sharing with 1 or 2 others at the most, preferably in a quiet household, a 1 bedroom granny flat, unit or the like with off-street parking.
Hi! I'm a full time Bio-med student and work part time as a waitress. I'm an easy going individual looking for some like minded people to potentially live with! I'm a clean and sociable person who enjoys having a chat. I'm not a huge drinker/partier but don't mind enjoying a few on weekends, I love heading to the beach and gym around my semi-hectic uni/work schedule.
I work away Tuesday to Friday, so im only home for three days a week. Im easy going, clean and courteous of others, but would be open to enjoy a meal or bevvis with roomies if the opportunity arises! I enjoy keeping fit, music and travel, and being from Airlie Beach Whitsundays, im looking forward to the next chapter in Newy!
Hi! I am looking to team up (also open to flat share) with another female or two, to find a new house. I am clean and tidy, and happy to purchase new furniture if needed. I am a kindergarten teacher and enjoy going to the gym so throughout the week I am quite busy. I would love to live with someone who enjoys going on walks when it’s not a gym day and going out exploring/enjoying food on the weekends. Looking for someone who will be a friend, not just a house mate! I would like to live with someone who likes a drink every now and again and would like to come on a night out but who also enjoys their own space at times.
Hey im Daniel, IVe recently moved home after 5 years living interstate and am looking for a nice place to rent close to the heart of it. Im pretty much your standard young bloke enjoy a few beers, hitting the gym and anything outdoors. Ive rented for around 8 years in share houses so im fully accustom to respecting different people their views and their space. I also have 2 dogs it would be amazing if i could bring them along too.
Working f/t. I am a non smoker, who treats a property with respect. I have most furniture I would need, and a fridge. Looking for my own space, am sick of sharing my home with inconsiderate liars that invade my privacy. Want to adopt a rescue dog (much better company to come home to)
Hi, My name is Marissa and my partner Matt and I are looking at moving in together from mid-August. We both currently live in separate share houses. We are looking at the possibility of renting a three-bedroom house and sharing with another person. We are looking for a person who may be interested in sharing with us and becoming a future flatmate and hopefully friends. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Communication at the University of Newcastle and am in my fourth year at university. I work part-time as a youth support worker in Out of Home Care. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, am outgoing and make friends easily. I'm a hard worker and like to keep myself busy. I go to the gym four times a week and enjoy the beach and visiting my parents on the Central Coast and in Sydney when I have free weekends as well as camping. I enjoy reading and watching movies and will be in Europe from mid-June to mid-August this year travelling. I've lived out of home since starting university, spending two years on college and the last 18 months in a share house with friends. I'd love a workout or study buddy, I'm very close friends with my current housemate! That being said also happy with someone who is content sucking to themselves! Matt works full time as a fence installer; his hours are between 5:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday so he is not home much during the week. Whilst he is up early he is extremely quiet and rarely hear him leave. He is currently also living in a share house. On weekends he enjoys motorbike riding, fishing and a quiet beer or two. We are a laid back couple who rarely argue and get along well with each other as well as everyone else. We have our own friends outside our relationship and don't mind doing our own thing. Whilst a couple we have different interests and aren't joined at the hip. We don't go out a lot other than for the occasional dinner. It wouldn't be a party house but we wouldn't mind having friends around for a BBQ or dinner and a few drinks. We’re always up for a movie night! We are both mature, clean and courteous and looking for someone who is similar. As well as someone who cleans up after themselves we'd be also looking for a person who is willing to participate in general cleaning of the house on a regular basis to keep things clean, tidy and hygienic. This would include basics such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of other common areas etc. We'd each be responsible for our own rooms. Matt is a keen gardener and mower so it's unlikely we'd have to worry about outside. In the share house I live in we currently have a roster but happy to discuss different options. It would be the perfect place for someone studying or working fulltime who has possibly lived out of home before, wants to be social and likes some company but also to do their own thing. We'd like someone with a steady job or secure means to pay rent and bills. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact us! I'd be looking to set one of the rooms up as a study/guest room so we are happy to split whatever the rent is three ways. Matt goes to bed early due to work and I often either finish work late or study late so will need a separate space. Matt and I both have savings and a stable income to purchase furniture and appliances so you'd only have to worry about furnishing your own room. Bills would additionally be split three ways - we'd like someone who is conscious when it comes to electricity as nobody likes seeing money wasted. Our max budget for a house overall would be an approx $510 - $170 each. We would prefer no pets not because we don't like animals but it makes finding a rental extremely difficult. We're happy to provide references of what we are like to live with! If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact us to discuss further the possibility further!
I’m a 28 yr old, full time accountant still studying commerce at uni. I have a beautiful 1 Yr old dog Bonnie that I absolutely adore. We love heading down to the dog beach on the weekend and curling up watching tv at night. I’m not one for partying but don’t mind the odd drink at home with a few friends. I’m a pretty good cook but don’t get a great deal of time for it. Looking for some like minded people to start a share house with, so let me know if this sounds like you!
