G’day, I am looking for a long-term place to live and call home. I am available to move in whenever it suits, however I do need to find someone to replace my current lease. I am looking for a place as close to work as possible, preferably less than 20 mins drive. I am a 24-year-old healthcare worker and looking for other working professionals with similar age who are quiet during the week but somewhat social on weekends. I am working full time as a chemo nurse at the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, so I am mostly at work during weekdays and enjoy quiet time afterwork. I am friendly, quiet, respectful, enjoy a chat or a few cheeky drinks, and most importantly clean up after myself. Never late on rent or bills. I look forward to living with like-minded person/people who will hopefully become good friends. I have my own bed and desk, so the room doesn't have to be fully furnished, and I'll need a carpark as well. I adopted an 8-year-old ginger cat from the RSPCA named Kramer, so ideally the place needs to be pet-friendly. Kramer is an inside cat, clean and very affectionate towards humans. He likes to cuddle up when you sit on the couch watching TV. My interests include working out at the gym (Jetts Milton), movies, FOOD and lots of NAPS. I got an Xbox one but barely touched it, so it's all yours if you are keen. I am a supporter of the Brisbane Broncos. If you are a fan or league follower, we could always go to the stadium and catch a couple games. If I sound like a decent housemate to you, please contact me on this website and I will get back to you ASAP as I am always checking the inbox. I am also happy to team up with somebody to find a place. Cheers :)
I'm a easy going person, doing close to full time hours at work, as a supervisor at a major supermarket. With my spare time I enjoy binge watching tv series on Netflix and going out with my friends from uni. My cat Pepper is 7 years old, and loves to sleep most of the day in the sun. She gets along with new people quite quickly, however she isn’t a fan of other cats and dogs.
I'm very easy going, could not ask for a better housemate. I do all my meal prep on the weekend so keeping the kitchen clean during the week is easy for me. I go to the gym, like going out and being social. I'm looking for people to live with that share similar interests and are also respectful of me and each other.
I'm super clean and tidy, Im happy to keep to myself or make new friends. I have a young puppy named Bandit who is super cuddly and smart. I am aiming to study sometime within the next year so would love some like minded flat mates. I currently work at the Brisbane Airport and live in Laidley. I like reading and watching movies and love Xbox gaming.
Hi! I'm Lily and looking for a place close by to uni and work. I'm currently completing my 2nd year of uni studying science and working part time so I'm usually busy doing either one of the two. I'm tidy, usually keep to myself but I'm always up for a chat. (Flexible with move in date)
Hi there! My name is Bethany and I'm an independent student looking for urgent accommodation in close proximity to my school, Kenmore State High School. I'm an easygoing friendly person who would not only like to find a nice, homely and convenient place to live but I'd love to have a great connection with my flat mates. I'm extremely tidy and self contained and will not be disruptive in the slightest. I have a stable channel of income through multiple avenues of part time work and will be entirely on top of my rent payments. I require a room as soon as possible due to the new school term commencing so if you have a space for rent for someone like me, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!
We are both full time workere, enjoy being social, listening to music, gaming and having occasional dinners together. We are really easy going, but respectful and tidy.
It’s a little last minute, but our current owners have decided to sell the property & have given us a month to move out! I’m looking for a private room with an ensuite or own bathroom. I am flexible in move in date, however sooner would be better! I work long days & have a busy personal life so I’m out of the house a lot. I enjoy cooking, gym, adventures & being a weekend netflix sloth. I am a social person, however I’m not a ‘party’ person. I have a lot of extra furniture & household items, however happy to put them into storage if storage space unavailable! I am extremely respectful of others space & belongings, along with clean & tidy. Please let me know if you have anything suited or would like more info :)
We are two sisters originally from Malaysia. I am Pritii, currently returning from Greece and was there for 3 years for a PhD opportunity through Marie Curie scholarship. My sister, Bavani, is currently working full-time in her internship near Wacol. We are clean, friendly and respectful tenants, and both have lived in Brisbane for about 3-4 year period for our education. Both of us are local adventurers, often out and about with friendly catch ups during the weekends or something interesting to do, and we are looking for a bit of accessibility to the city from the location.
Hi I’m Ayden, Im a single, non smoker, social drinker, and working professional. Im 25 working full time as a sales representative and looking for a home to stay. I’m a non smoker who’s life style revolves around fitness and spends his nights training Muay Thai and jujitsu. I’m a tidy respectful guy who understands boundaries and space but am super approachable if you need me. Don’t hesitate to contact me if need be.

I am looking for a room or a team up in a quiet and respectful home. I am moving to Brisbane for work and will be needing accomodation. I have lived in shared situations before and have enjoyed the experiences I have encountered. I cook and will clean (domesticated...yes!) and keep to myself for the most part. I pay my share of the bills on time and will help out wherever I can. Im happy to share a meal or just sit and chat. Im not a big drinker but don't mind a beer or two after a hard day. I don't watch a lot of TV but am happy to just relax and watch a movie. I respect your privacy and your place. I will look after the furnishings as if they were my own. I do smoke (not drugs) and respect that you don't. I never smoke inside and will respect your wishes on this.
Hi, I'm Lindy. New in the city, I came to improve my English, so I study and I also work. I like to cook with wine ... and in some occasions I add it to the food also haha. I'm a chef, love art... in special the music (progressive rock, jazz, blues) Yoga and traveling. I love life. I am positive and hardworking. I'm 41 I would like to live in a quiet and bright place. I like to keep the spaces clean and tidy. I respect personal spaces and times. I love being alone, but sometimes I also like it enjoy and socialize with interesting people and having dinner together or going out to have fun. Cheers!
I'm an easy going person. I have a son but he lives with his dad in NZ. I'm looking to meet some nice people and just have my own space again minimum 6months. I love to cook and relax. I work a lot and I'm trying to go to the gym more so I'm not around too much so when I am -I'm pretty quiet.. Not saying I can't have a good laugh...
Hi! I’m looking to move from Sydney up to Brisbane in September. Ideally Indooroopilly area (within 10 minutes drive) to be close to friends. I am looking for either: - somewhere I can live for at least three months, possibly longer term if we get on well, as I plan to stay in Brisbane for at least two years. - start a new sharehouse in a house with a big fenced yard, aircon, modern kitchen and bathroom, for 12 months I’m very chill, easy to get along with, tidy, I don’t make a lot of noise, and like to keep to myself most of the time. I like country music, watching Netflix, and finding fun things to do with my dog. I’m not much of a partier anymore but I don’t mind a quiet drink. My biggest flaw as a housemate is probably that I smoke (outside only), though I am very considerate about it. I’ll be doing temp/contract work so I won’t have a consistent schedule. The most important thing to know about what I am looking for in a home is that I have a 1.5 year old female Great Dane named Winnie, who is like my shadow, and she needs to be able to sleep in my room, and have a back yard with a decent fence (1.5m or taller) where she can hang out with her toys when I work. Her vice is that she likes to escape. She’s toilet trained and has a great nature - she will absolutely steal your heart - but she won’t follow commands unless she knows you have a treat in your hand. She has never destroyed or damaged anything that is not explicitly given to her though. I would love for Winnie to have a doggo friend to keep her company during the day. My current housemates have lots of animals, so Winnie has lived with three German shepherds, a kelpie, two cats, two horses, and a snake. Winnie is used to living with other dogs, so if she is the only dog in the house I would be looking to adopt another dog to accompany her. I also have a pet snake - a carpet python called Legs. He might go to live with a friend of mine though. He pretty much just hangs out in his tank. He’s a chill dude. Please contact me for further info.
Very quiet, very neat and tidy, don’t make a mess and keep shared areas clean, non smoker, non drinker, don’t take drugs, don’t play loud music or TV, fitness orientated. Keen mountain biker. Recently returned from 9 years living working overseas and a Graphic Designer / Web Development Business Owner in Uganda East Africa. Single, not into pubs or clubs, just value peace and quiet and freedom to get out on either my mountain bike or road bike. When indoors I like to browse Facebook or YouTube, mostly use headphones in my room. I’m very conscientious of not invading other people’s space as I like my own. I’m not a hang out in the lounge room person. I don’t like noisy environments so therefore I myself am very quiet. I was a full time Nightclub DJ in all the main Clubs in Brisbane and Gold Coast before I relocated overseas, so I’ve had my share of music lol. Before that I raced BMX Professionally and Coached. I’ve worked very, very hard the past 3 decades, always self employed under contracts / own businesses, i’m currently taking a bit of a break and reassessing my next chapter, my main focus being ongoing treatment for chronic migraines to improve on quality of life and focusing on my health and fitness. I’m not much of a cook, so I live off healthy wraps, juices and fresh foods lol. I have a pretty quick witted sense of humour when I do engage in conversation. I’ve mostly always only ever had my own place, my current circumstances simply don’t allow that due to closing up my business in a very corrupt 3rd world country and having my assets tied up overseas. That said, when I stay with someone I treat being a guest in their place or sharing a place with utmost respect, cleanliness and friendliness is the best environment. Although not a deal breaker, would be a bonus to share with fellow mountain bikers to help motivate me get out on the trails even more often. Also keen to share with social road riders as I’ve started doing River Loop Rides, aside from Loops and occasional Mt Cootha Laps, I prefer sticking to the Bike Path Networks. My ideal location would be close to Mt Cootha, eg. Toowong, Bardon, Auchenflower, Milton etc. Ferny Grove is also an option I might consider. I do need a parking spot for my car. Not bothered if it’s off street or on street.
I work part time at a restaurant and barely home but on days off I spend quietly in my room or out with some friends. I enjoy socialising and would be up for a chats or outings with housemates but love having my own time. I am a tidy person, join in cleaning days and am someone that doesn't get in the way. I like to binge tv series, have a drink here and there and watch dog videos. Am super chill but also down for an adventure! :)
Brisbane born and raised, full time worker, non smoker, I don't have kids or pets, don't do drugs apart from coffee and alcohol. Working hours are between 5am and 5pm. Not much of a partier these days, my free time is spent either playing videogames or taking weekend coast trips. Looking to move to make my commute to work shorter.
I'm a mostly private person (I call myself a confident introvert) who keeps very busy with her work in hospitality and her social life (I love hanging out with the local Brisbane Burlesque Dancers and Circus Performers). So when I'm home I'm pretty dull, well about as dull as a grown woman with a collection of giant stuffed unicorns, holographic fashionand space cat t shirts gets. At home I like to have a relaxing atmosphere, I don't tend to invite heaps of people over I prefer to go to them. I spend my free time eating/binge watching streaming services or sleeping with my big chubby bubby of 10 years. He's a cat, desexed, indoors only and part siamese. He's big round and talks a lot, my friends say he is like a dog only he's useless at fetch and purrs loud. His name is Klaus die Gruss Titten which is roughly German for "Klaus you big Tit". I enjoy cooking, eating, doing yoga, wine and swinging from a pole and calling it fitness (it is though, gotta work off them chicken nuggets somehow). My largest book is the world encyclopedia of wine, my FAVORITE book is about a magic skeleton that solves magic crime called Skullduggery Pleasant (it'll be the next big movie franchise I bet). I experiment with cooking a lot, regularly with vegan desserts. I love Britcoms and dark humour. I have bedroom furniture (for my room) and a few basic household things if they're needed. I also have a car, I just don't like driving which is why I'm moving closer so I can catch the bus/train.
I’m a 24 year old health-care professional. I’m laid back, easy going and easy to get along with. I will be respectful of your privacy and space. I’m quiet and I keep to myself. I have stable income and will always pay rent on time. I am a shiftworker so I work weird hours. Sometimes I’ll be up at 5am for work. Other times I’ll get home at 12am. Any prospective housemates would have to be accepting of this as I need to make a certain amount of noise in order to get ready for work and get ready for bed (i.e. showering, breakfast, midnight snacks). I am a non-smoker but don’t mind if you smoke, as long as you do so outside. Looking for a female only household please.
