I’m a laid back guy that’s real easy to get along with, and always pulls his weight around the house. Making the transition from Adelaide to Melbourne as I received a job offer there and looking for a place that has good access to the train station. Not too fussed on the type of housing, just can’t be too expensive and I have no problems with pets
Hey all, I'm a full time student at Monash working 2 part time jobs meaning I don't have a lot of downtime. I study Business and Human Rights and am aiming to work for a non profit. I'm looking to move into a new place pretty much asap. Looking for a cool place (size of room doesn't bother me) with some cool like minded people to explore this awesome city with. Big fan of any music, travelling and red wine. Cheers x
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 30, born & raised in Melbourne w/ Indian background. Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it)p but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
I'm a 19 year old guy from Italy, looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. I love football, travelling and watching movies. My move to Melbourne will be for improve my english and find a work. I will be needing a place for my first month in Australia, but I may stay more than 1 month.
Hi there! I am a pharmacist/ new PhD student at Monash university, looking for a private room close to the university. I am a friendly, easy-going and bubbly person but I also occasionally enjoy my own time too. I also prefer clean and tidy environment, and I will be a comfortable share mate to live with as I already have few years of experience living in a share house. Please feel free to message me if you’re looking for a nice share mate! :)
We are moving to Melbourne from the UK at the end of August. Jack will be working full time as a doctor and Megan will be looking for work as a teacher upon arrival. We are looking for a one bed flat for a 9-12 month lease from the beginning of September. We would also be interested in a room in a shared house for the first month while we find somewhere to live long term. Please get in touch if you have something suitable. Thanks!
I work as a backline tech/ lighting operator/ technician for concerts and festivals and do club operating at Level 3 crown casino on the side when work gets quiet. I play drums for the band Newtown Story. I'm always up to chat and have a beer, very easygoing, relaxed and respectful of everyone
I'm moving to Melbourne to work as an Environmental Scientist. My prior accommodation has just fallen through so I ideally need to find a room by this Sunday (19th August). In my free time I usually go hiking or read books.
hack | nerd | activist | queenslander| bakes too much | exercises too little G'day! I studied law and I work in political campaigning and social policy. I'm a pretty excellent baker and love cooking. I like video games, comic books, bushwalks, canoeing, live music and activism. I'm really social, love having house parties - but I'm happy to live with quiet housemates who don't. I go to live comedy on Tuesday nights, play D&D on Saturdays and doorknock on Sundays. I'm not a needy housemate, and I respect my housemates' privacy. I come with a Nintendo Switch, an Xbox One, and a Kenwood stand mixer. I'm planning on getting a new fancy TV too if that's enough of a bribe. I'm pretty independent having had my own places since I was 18. I also drive and I'm handy around the house. If you're after a handy, self-sufficient housemate who keeps to themselves but is keen to go to the pub, I'm a PRETTY COOL DUDE (I'm not). I'm after housemates around the same age (24-30), who are keen for the occasional house party but are most of the time just okay listening to me laughing with my headphones on. I'm keen to do a team up and would be happy getting a three-bedder between two, or a four-bedder between three, so we can have a spare room/study to share.
ME BRIEFLY... I'll love my current Housies forever but our freezer-home has frozen my feet to the floor and I need a warmer home ASAP. I'm open to short-term options but would prefer a forever home. I seek soulful souls for housemates; new friends who live and laugh and love this luxury we call life... --- ME BROADLY... Hi possible-future-housemates, I'm Lane. And I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble North or Westside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Thornbury, Fitzroy, Footscray, etc.). 🤗🏠 I'm a clean, considerate, creative kind who's also all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environment et. al. I lean left, arty, and non-binararilly. I'm house-proud, house-happy, and open to short-term or long-term options. I'm looking for a warm, welcoming, inclusive, creative, clean, open, and honest home; I co-live well and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. By day I work out of NEST (co-work space) in Thornbury and by night I sometimes do the same! I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
I’m about to move to Melbourne from WA. I’m originally from QLD though. I work full time as a super busy retail manager. I also have a beautiful cavalier King Charles called Oakley that is a beautiful little house dog that will love your pats and cuddle you all the time :)
I am working full time as a lawyer in the CBD. I'm fairly social but happy if people want their own space! I'm pretty laid back but like to keep the place fairly neat and tidy.
Hi, I am a full time accountant relocating from Brisbane to Melbourne in October 2018. I am clean, respectful, easy to live with and love to have a laugh.
I'm a software engineer and gym junkie(aspiring amateur bodybuilder) from Perth looking to make the move to Melbourne. I'm an easy going, chill guy. I keep to myself and I love to cook. I generally tend to prefer a quiet night in over a night out, but don't mind going out every now and then. I'm looking for somewhere that's easy for me to get to the CBD via public transport, has room for a desk or is already equipped with one, preferably has space for a car park, but it's not a deal breaker if it doesn't
Hi! I’m a 21 year old bartender on weekends and receptionist weekdays. I’ve been living in share houses for about 3 years now and am currently looking for a place till February 2019. I have a 2 1/2-3 year old female grey tortoise shell cat who has lived with other animals before (such as rats, birds, and rabbits) but unfortunately she is not a cat that can get along with other cats. She is very well trained and is an outdoor/indoor cat. I work 9-5 during the week but love to go out and have a couple of drinks with friends occasionally when I finish. Love a glass of wine and Netflix binge and having a good chat. I’m a tidy person who keeps most of my mess in my room. Looking for 1 or two others to live with who have a similar busy life styles and are relaxed in a household.
I am a 23 year old working full time in an admin role in the insurance and risk industry (fun!). I am very chill, love cleaning, not the greatest cook but always willing to give it a go, and my favourite way to spend my evenings is to watch Netflix. I also com with Pepper, a 6 month old kitten who is toilet trained, super cute, and up to date on all vaccines. I'm looking for housemates I can be friends with who are up for occasionally spending time together.
Moved here from Brisbane last year to study criminal justice at Victoria University. I have been living at uni accomodation but I’m ready to move out into a bigger place I can make my own. I’m easy going, clean and respectful. I am always down for a chat but also appreciate some alone time. I work part time so between my job and university I love to make the most of my free time by exploring the city, going on day trip or socialising over few drinks (or more than a few) I am ready to move in now or if any of you are looking to team up as well because I would also love to find my own place with a few people
Hello there! I am Chaira, 24 years old and I'm currently living the good life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In November I will start my fulltime masters research internship at Orygen (located at Parkville) for 8 months. Therefore, I'm looking for a nice and chill place to live per October with some nice roommates. Preferably the place includes a shared livingroom and it shouldn't be too far away from the Orygen institute. About me: I'm an easy- going, very social, cozy and friendly roommate. I love meeting new people and making new memories! Further, I like to go swimming and dancing, I really like to cook, I love having coffees and drinks in the city and I like to go out from time to time. Please contact me if you have something nice for me!:)
Greetings all! 2 possums recently decided to break into my room via my window and stare at me as I slept. I took that as a sign it was time for a new place. I'm Dee, 32, looking for a place to hang my hat, set my WiFi password and call home. Contractor in film and other mundane activities to earn my bread and butter. Mon-Fri: After work I'm fairly quiet as I'll either be at(tempting to go to) the gym, out with friends or catching up on TV shows (putting the kgs I burned off at the gym back on). Weekends: Usually out and about. I'm extremely easy going and enjoy a good belly laugh. I'm tidy, considerate, generous and respectful. Not a good cook (sorry guys) so you'll see me in the kitchen as often as the Loch Ness monster. Lived in share houses for many years and still very close friends with those I've lived with so I guess that makes me bearable. I'm looking to live with amazing people I can consider friends, who enjoy some banter, a few laughs, partaking in drinks or dinner but can also understand my need for alone time. Just as much as I respect my housemates I'd like to find peeps that are considerate, fun loving and also easy going. Bonus points if you love your movies and binging on Game of Thrones and have a crazy eclectic taste in music! So, if your home sounds like it could benefit from some easygoing vibes, lots of laughter and the threat of possums is not on the cards then please get in touch! PS. Flexible on dates. Preference towards a larger bedroom (bonus points with ensuite) and in a house or townhouse. No small apartments for me, unfortunately!
