I will be working two jobs most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician) but I've done hospitality work too so I'll be getting a pub job as well. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. thank you in advance. Aggie
Hi, we're an Aussie/Irish couple in our mid-20's looking for a room in inner Melbourne. We're tidy, easy-going and sociable... hoping to find somewhere friendly where we can hang out in the living room, watch TV, share a drink and play the odd board/card game. Michael is studying Masters and working as an accountant, Hannah has just finished uni and is doing a bit of work/study before a backpacking trip in a few months. Pop us a message if it sounds like a good fit!

Hi! I'm Teagan and I am currently finishing my second year of my Bachelor of Arts at ACU Melbourne with a double major in History and Literature and I plan to go on to do my Masters of Teaching, to become a secondary teacher! I am originally from east gippsland and I moved to Melbourne for uni, where i spent my first year in a two bedroom apartment with a friend, and my second year in a five person sharehouse. I always pay rent and bills, as they are my first priority with money, and I'm always up for making friends and doing fun housemate stuff, but I'm also perfectly content to keep to myself if that's what you're looking for. :) I'm also fairly easy going and reasonably tidy. I'm always up for going to a gig, or having a gossip, and i'd be happy to freak out about uni deadlines with you if you're also a student :p I'm also looking to move in the first half of january :) x
I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.

Hey!! I lived in melbourne for 15 months and fell in love not just with the city! came back to London got a brilliant job working for the coolest company who have agreed to let me work in their office in southback for a month!! just need to find the perfect house :)
We are a lovely couple from overseas. We are mature students (will be study PhD at the University of Melbourne), have no kid and don’t have any plan to have one soon. Mostly spend most of the daytime at the Uni and work part-time occasionally. We are looking for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms in a shared flat/house, and looking for another couple to team up. As the budget suggests, we're looking a bit moderate to high standards accommodation and also a respectful couple to be shared with. We are easy-going and love to go out to explore the city with friends/flatmates. We enjoy travelling / watching films-tv / music / dinner with friends during the weekends. We are clean, tidy and organised, always clean after ourselves or even clean the share space.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
I am a friendly, open guy who is always looking for the bright sight of life. I have 5 years of experience in sharing a flat and I really enjoy it. I am coming from Germany for a research stay to the University of Melbourne. In particular I am doing cybernetics which is pretty much control engineering. I will stay here for approx. 3 month. As I am pretty much into travelling I want to take the chance and explore more parts of Australia afterwards. In my freetime I am always up for sports and I enjoy to try new things! I especially like to play volleyball, football, tennis, swimming. Moreover I like to go to bars and live music. A must do on my bucket list for Australia is to learn surfing! I am looking forward to a chat in real. Cheers, Felix
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
Looking to start a share house that feels like home, close to the CBD and public transport with plenty of space. I am fairly easy going and tidy. I like to have a glass of wine in the evenings but am usually off doing something like drawing, rock climbing or catching up with friends. As I'm very creative, a space that could be used as a study (even a garage) is important. Hoping to find people that like to hang out sometimes and are respectfully clean. I have all the furniture and things needed to set up a house. Flexible on location and move date.
Hey my name is Jamie, currently studying tourism full time and working as a barista weekends. I am neat, friendly, quiet and vegetarian. In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, watch sci fi and anime and go out for brunch :) I am looking for like-minded housemates who like to spend time with each other like a little family. Being clean is a must 🙂
I just arrived to Melbourne from Toronto, Canada. I have been working full-time during my stay. I have a 1 year working holiday visa. I am very friendly and love the outdoors, as well as sports and don't mind trying new things! My background is Argentinian and Uruguayan (Spanish) so I love soccer, wine and festivals/summer events. Living in Toronto has made me open to different cultures and ways of life so I am very open-minded, friendly and respectful.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 8 December, with the possibility of extending. I'm not fussed as to whether the room is furnished or not, but do need to be within walking distance to public transport. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Hi we are Rachael and Shannon (intern psychologist and a site manager). We would like to team up with someone to find a 3 bedroom home that we will fully furnish and rent out the 2nd room to you. We would like to leave our 3rd room as a spare/office. Our preferred budget is $450 up to $500 max. So your room may cost anywhere between $200-250. And we would like for you to help us in the searching & application process so that we can all move in at the same time. Will will first apply for a 6 month lease in case we are not happy with the house or area. But the idea is for it to be long term for us & hopefully you! Rachael is a psychology intern and works long days 4 days per week. Shannon is often out of town every second weekend. We lead a fairly busy lifestyle between work, gym and our family/friends living out of town. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hastle to live with. We enjoy going to gym, markets, cafes, the occasional night out or just relaxing. We are looking for someone who can have a chat, a laugh & share the occasional catch up when we are all in the home. And importantly to Rachael a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy. Importantly to Shannon who works long hours someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. We will be looking for a 3 bedroom, preferably 2 bathroom home with a double lock up garage (but that will be for Shannon & my cars only sorry). If you think you would like to team up to find a place with us please send a message!
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.
I'm a science student at Melbourne Uni with a job in hospitality, and more of a geek than anything else. I love movies, particularly horror, and go to the cinema whenever I can. I'm much more of a listener than a talker, but I love being part of a good conversation and if I get a few beers in me, I'll happily babble about pretty much anything until the sun comes up! I love going out to try new food places when I can afford it and I like to try to cook, though not very well (it's a work in progress)... I also like to read a lot, and love games - video games, card games, board games, you name it and I'll probably like it. I consider myself a very curious person, so I'm always up for learning or trying new things. I'm no clean freak, especially when it comes to my own space (a busy desk is a busy mind!), but I like to try to keep common areas as clean as I can. I'm Australian, but I've spent 5 years living abroad in this is my first year back in Melbourne.
Hi! I'm Erin, currently living in Wellington New Zealand, I am moving over to Melbourne in November to work, travel and meet some cool new people! I'm a super clean and easy going person, I love to socialize but can appreciate when quiet time is needed. I design and make clothes in my spare time and also love food, photography and netflix documentaries. I work full time in hospitality so tend to be quite busy but love hanging out with friends on my free days :-)
Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.
Easy going guy who likes to keep a pretty clean space, enjoys cooking and socialising with a quiet drink. I have brand new appliances to basically furnish an empty house if required. I work full time and do play sport so I'm always reasonably busy.
Hey, My names Rita I am 21, I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide 6 months ago. I am a full time student studying law and business at Vic Uni and also work part time at Zara. I am very sociable, easy to get along with and respectful of space, belongings and cleanliness. My lease at my current share house runs out in mid November, but I can move anytime before that. I would ideally like to move somewhere close to public transport to make it more convenient for work and Uni. If you have any question please don’t hesitate to message me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hey, My names Dave and I have another mate Jac, we're currently looking for some extra people to build a share house. We're looking at houses in the North Melb, Footscray, Kensington, and Brunswick areas (and surrounding). We're pretty chill people who actually want to start dabbling in some pub trivia, and love a beer/cider or a few. Dave is studying to become a paramedic with fantastic puns its almost punishable..... and Jac is a sea kayaking instructor so thats a paddlin, so we are super outdoorsy and keen for hikes, camping and other adventures! also we are looking to get into some fitness so some more friendly competition would be swell Dave also has an extremely loveable dog named Ollie who is an outside dog and an all round massive spud. if ya keen shoot us a message on hear or via interpretive dance what ever is easier
Hi. I recently started a new job (I.T) in Melb, so I'm looking to move closer to work. I'm a pretty relaxed person, and will generally get along well with anyone with a good sense of humor. I guess I'm fairly tidy and I do enjoy my own space (especially after dealing with clients all day), however I don't mind a bit of socialising either, and would enjoy having a flat mate I get along well with. I don't party, I'm definitely a home-body, however my weekends are usually hanging out with mates, rock climbing or catching up on sleep. I'm currently looking to share a place with one other, I did the multishare in uni and found it a bit much. If this suits, feel free to contact me. Cheers.
Looking for a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary space to call home and where I can work on my various projects which include studying the healing arts, writing and music. I am currently studying a degree in audio/music production and I work part-time in education.
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
I am tidy, I don't steal stuff, and I love to bake. I also like eating, drinking, watching tv, being active, and socialising. I know how to have a laugh, and know when to leave you alone. Basically, as long as you're a decent human being then I can be the best house mate ever
Hello. I work as a nurse during the week, and enjoy mountain biking and other outdoor activities over the weekends. I have two mountain bikes and need a secure garage for safe storage.
Hi, I am a Kiwi that has just moved to Melbourne. I have a job at the University of Melbourne where I will be starting a PhD next February. I am a clean, considerate housemate and looking for somewhere close to Uni that feels like a home. I enjoy running, baking and travelling. I don't know too many people here so would be keen to find housemates that occasionally like to hang out in the evenings to watch a film, have a wine or a cuppa together.
I am a quiet, clean, and nice student who's looking for a shared flat or apartment to stay for 6 months.
Hi, I'm Tash, a 29 year old who is moving back to Melbourne after spending most of the year backpacking around South and Central America. I work in hospitality so I'm sometimes working a mix of hours, but when I am at home I love chatting over a cuppa (or a wine). I'm generally pretty relaxed, but always clean up after myself and respect others space.
Hi, my name is Hugo. I am Australian (22) and my partner Julia (20) is German. (feel free to give us a stalk on Facebook) We are both currently studying at University and will be for the next year or so. I am studying law in Geelong so I will be back and forth a little, however Julia studies graphic design in city. We are easy going, enjoy working out, having drinks and heading out for a nice meal. I currently work at a cinema so we also find ourselves regularly heading to the movies. We are both social and love hanging out, but respect the need for privacy and alone time. We are both tidy and happy to help around the place however needed. If this sounds like we could be your possible housemates or if you have any questions just chuck us a message xxx
Hi there! I am Katha, doing my Master degree in the city. Right now I am about to finish my first year. Since I am heading overseas for quite a while I will give up my current bedroom and look for a new one from beginning/ mid January. If I find a great place I would love to stay there for as long as possible. A bit about me: I am studying International Urban and Environmental Management and work besides that as Babysitter. I am originally from Germany but decided to come back to Melbourne after doing an exchange semester in the city during my undergraduate. I love my studies and get quite passionate about it. I do care about the environment (well yes my journey is not in favor of that); like these tiny independent shops where you can get amazing food. I am not a fan of small talks but try to find interesting people who inspire me. Besides that I love a great piece of chocolate cake, vegetarian food, a good book, chats with like minded people and one to three beers at the pub after uni. I love to go to the small gigs which are all over the city, a walk on the beach and spending time in cafes. I do some sports, swim once or twice per week and go for a run now and then. I am looking for a place with people who are interested in similar things, do not party at home and have a place with a warm atmosphere. I am a really clean living person and look for a place which shares that. Looking forward to hear from anyone of you out there. Cheers
Two Northern Irish girls on a working holiday. Clean, tidy, laid back. Both recent graduates. Looking for a double or twin room in a shared house.
Hello! I'm a primary school teacher from the UK, here on a 12 month holiday/working visa but looking for full time teaching work. I'm super easy to live with - very clean, tidy, organised (I think it's the teacher in me!) and respectful. I'm a big fan of being beside the ocean and in general just being outdoors as much as possible; I love road cycling, paddle boarding, yoga and Pilates. I like my own quiet space and time, especially when the teaching schedule is so hectic! But equally I'm very sociable and just love meeting new people, making new friends, trying new things and having fun in life!
Hi! My name is Chloe. I am a Music Theatre graduate, and am currently working in a puppet show touring to Primary Schools. I am also a violinist and violin teacher - I teach at Auburn Primary School at the moment. I am independent, 24 years old (25 next week) and have been living out of home in share houses since I was 19. I grew up in Adelaide but absolutely love Melbourne. I am a non-smoker. Not a "party animal" but have the occasional night out with a few drinks. I always keep communal areas clean/tidy up after myself. I usually do my own thing with food since I am a vegetarian (but not a judgy one). I like op-shopping, reading, nintendo games, music, cats, going to gym and dance classes, Harry Potter, watching a bit of TV but not loads (some favourites are Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Parks and Recreation, some anime stuff and will occasionally watch The Chase or Family Feud. Happy to watch crap reality TV just to have a laugh!). I am generally quiet unless I'm practicing, which I try to do when others are out. I am a lead singer in a band so will sing in my room occasionally :) Looking for some friendly people to live with somewhere close to public transport, as I don't have a car. I'd love a house with character that feels like a home. Animals in the house would be a bonus as I love them! Move-in date is very flexible - can move in immediately but would need to find somewhere by the 25th of October. Looking at long term rental if I like the place and people. Looking for a private room, not shared, around the inner suburbs of Melbourne. Thanks :)
Hi there! my name is Stephan Eckert and I’m 21 years old. I’m from Augsburg a city near Munich, in Bavaria -Germany. I am a really flexible person and ready to adapt to almost any circumstances quickly, so I won’t cause any problems. I really love beer since I am from Germany and like to have a drink now and then. I’d be happy to share some German culture with you (traditional food…) and if I’d got to know the Australian or rather Melbournian culture. Cheers Stephan
Hi I’m Dave! 32 years old I work part time in North Melbourne in before, and after school care, and its something I love. My Background is in theatre and arts. I currently live in Carlton North I love this house and my housemates are lovely, the location is excellent for work, and for getting to gigs but Its time for a change of scenery and a little more space. I'm a writer, and out a lot at events, gigs, shows etc and that kind of thing but also like to chill and make some electronic music in my room on occasion. It’s not intrusive on anyone and has never been an issue, it’s somewhere between soundtrack music, and minimalism. I’m looking for a home and people to get to know, but also time to myself, I go out to gigs, and events quite a bit so pretty happy doing my own thing but like a house to come to as well. I enjoy home cooking (I make a mean Chicken korma!) talking about films, music, art, and culture type things total closet hipster(:. And I’m quite fond of cats, animals, painting, and addicted to coffee! If you think I’d fit in to your gang I’d love to hear from you. Chz Dave
Just moved to Melbourne to study next year in Melb uni so prefer to live as closely to Melb as possible. Currently working several casual jobs full time. I'm friendly, easy going and open minded. I usually keep to myself but enjoy company. Definitely see a house as a place to decompress after a long day and relax - so I would like to find a place which can be a home, not just a place to stay. I'm not pedantic about cleanliness but do prefer that the general areas are somewhat tidy. I'm easy going about various lifestyles/if you have pets/food preferences etc. I smoke occasionally outside. So yeah, just looking for somewhere chill to live in and call home :)
Hi potential roomies, I'm Lori and next year I'll be moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to study. I'm looking to find some cool people (preferably female) to live with who I can be friends with too- looking for more than just a room! I like reading, travelling, live music, politics, camping and binge-watching on netflix. Not a huge party animal but still enjoy a good night out, or even better, a beer with friends at home. I'm respectful of others privacy, and like to keep my spaces clean and tidy. Get in touch if you think we get along :)
We are two good friends who are very friendly, Giorgia is a bartender and I work in retail. We are looking for 2 rooms in a houseshare or property. We love animals and dont mind smoke so can happily live anywhere.
I'm just a small town American girl who's picked up her belongings and has run away from home. Along with my brilliant thought process (like moving to the furthest place from home ever), I am a person who likes to keep things organized and clean, I love to cook - especially when it's not just for me and I can be your best friend for the night if you ever just need someone to listen 🙋🏼 In previous shared apartments I've lived in I was known for: -always having a spare bottle of wine and a block of chocolate for emergencies -my mind blowing Mac N Cheese -building forts (because why not) -my valiant effort at rapping like Kanye -my hobby of picking up heavy things and putting them back down because it's supposed to be good for your health. I will be sent care packages from overseas throughout this year so if you've ever wanted to taste some corn syrup based, artificial happiness, preservative filled candy - nows your chance! Single A morning person without the need to show it I'll laugh at all of your jokes... Even the really bad ones because they'll probably still be funny to me I've studied performance in NYC and design in Europe. So basically I'm cultured and get along with hipsters really well 🙃 I'm fluent in American English and Danish. So I know the worlds most easiest language and the most useless/ugliest language 🇩🇰✌🏼️🇺🇸 Annddddd I can do that cool Dutch braid that everyone is posting on Instagram. I got you 👌🏼 Let's share a fridge 😊
I currently live in Perth and will be making the big move to Melbourne in January 2017 (for study purposes). I am looking for a place to call home and to share with some fun loving people. I am very easy going and friendly. I promise I'm clean and keep things tidy. I love a good laugh/hanging out with other people for good times and I am considerate of others. Hoping to make friends and not just be considered a housemate.
Here is a little bit about myself, I am 21 years old, currently enjoying my gap year from studying fashion design at RMIT and working in retail at the moment. I am a pretty chill person, do enjoy to chats and having casual wine every now and then haha, generally clean. If you have any question about me please feel free to ask.
Hey I'm Reuben!! I'm a young professional working full time in Melbourne & a ditch jumper from NZ. I am a very easy going lad who loves a cool cool beverage and spinning chat with people. I am also clean, tidy and really want a share house that is social and hang out together not only at home but on the weekends (don't worry I aint clingy) I also love sport & am not afraid to admit but love a good wildlife doco. At the moment I am flatting in North Melbourne but sadly my lease is finished & can move in on the 6th of November. Hit me up if I sound ideal.
Swedish exchange student at Deakin Uni with a study break from Oct 20. I love to party, be social, go for a run/gym, good food and play FIFA 17 (I love soccer). I want to spend my time in Melbourne enjoying the city as much as possible. I'm easygoing and get along with most people. Show respect and be respected. I also like to keep it clean and fresh, important ;) I'll go back to Sweden(where I've lived all my life) at the beginning of January to finish my studies. My background is Macedonian. Cheers!

Hi future house mates, I'm Martin, a 26 year old single, non-smoking, male student at RMIT. I'm studying Social Work full time and I work part time as a Community support worker. I'm pretty easy going, like to meet new people, go out and socialise. As a roommate, I'm a tidy person and like to keep things neat and clean. I've lived in rental homes before and I'd prefer to move in with people that are similarly tidy. I respect other peoples privacy and am generally quiet around the house. I might invite the occasional friend over for a catch up once in a while, but generally I'll go out when I'm catching up with friends. If you have any questions about me, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for reading my profile. It would be great to meet up and talk to you further and see your place in person. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, Martin
