My wife and I are moving from Brisbane to Sydney and looking for a new home. We are originally from Brazil but have been living in Australia for the last 6 years. My wife is an Assistant Manager in a Childcare centre and I work with Hospitality. We are very relaxed people who likes to watch movies and series on Netflix and have a few drinks every now and again over the nights/weekends. We are looking for a place where we could have our own bathroom. Looking forward to hear from our new house/flatmates
Hi Currently working in product research and development for an environmentally responsible packaging company. I regularly travel for work which means I am sometimes away for the week. When I am not working I love to keep busy so you’ll usually find me at the gym, rock climbing, running, swimming, playing tennis/squash or eating out at some swanky new restaurant. I’ve been living in Sydney for 5 years and I have used Flatmates to find most of my accommodation. All my previous flatmates will vouch that I am easy to get along with, considerate clean but also up for a good chat.
Hello world, I'm Fikki and I am looking for a new place to live! I am neat, quiet, and respectful of your boundaries. I also have a little cat named Ignis, and will be adopting another cat soon. I work full-time and have a busy schedule, but I do enjoy socialising and playing video games when I have the free time. I am also interested in teaming up with others and forming our own little family. Looking forward to meeting new people!
I am friendly and easy to live with. I work full time as a primary school teacher and have a range of activities that keep me busy. That being said, I am an introvert so do enjoy having time at home. Non-smoker, not a party-animal. Looking for others who are similar. I am looking for a place to live, on return from an overseas trip (end Jan 2019). Either happy to move into an already established place, or looking for a team-up (I have appliances/furniture etc).
Hello! I have just moved from Newcastle and working full time in HR in the city and will be ready to move in early January. I like my own space and will be quiet while busy during the week but up for socialising on the weekends! Very respectful and tidy and consider myself to be very trustworthy and genuine and am looking for the same.
Social but enjoy own space too.. Enjoy a BBQ and outdoors. Ex Pat from Oregon / US and lived on North Shore for almost 10 years. Very fit and active - Enjoy Tennis, All Water Sports including Scuba Diving, Basketball Coach & Masters Hoop player... Family man but Single now as my Teen Daughter lives with her Mom.. I am usually away up to 2 weeks per month either on business nor around in evenings much as usually out during Dinner Hours with Daughter. Looking for accommodation to suit, very handy on all interior and exterior home repairs if at any time required as well for any type rent compensation and enjoy yard work very much as green thumb too - but entertain all offers on a place to call home for a minimum of 3-6 months.
Relaxed and Calm. Gives people there space and privacy. I like to have fun of course. I need the basics like a washer, dryer and fridge. Please not coin operated. Interests: Woodworking/ volleyball/ exploring Sydney. Need to be reasonably close to public transport. A place that feels safe, prefer to not be on the ground floor. I can't live with smokers or drug takers. Age open. I would like to have a friend visit a few times a month, which can be discussed. I've had a couple of places where i've had to use public rubbish bins instead of one from a property, eg when living above a shop, I don't want to do that anymore.
Hi there, My name is Thu (It pronounces kinda like ‘two’). I’m from Vietnam and I’ve been living in Japan for more than 4 years. I’m moving to Sydney from next February (on the 14th to be exact) and I’m in this great search for a lovely home where I can happily go back to after a hectic day at school (Oh and yes, I’m going to do my Master in Macquarie University). About myself, I’m an out-going introvert, meaning that I love talking to people and am always willing to cook and share my food with you. But at the same time, if needed, I can be the quiet type as well. I’ve been traveling to quite some places using Couchsurfing (other people let me stay at their house) so I what it needs to be a good housemate. I’ll always help to keep the place clean and tidy. Ideally, if you have a private room with the price no more than 250$pw (bills inc), please let me know. I’d be happy to discuss more about the details.
I'm a full time travel agent looking for a new share house for myself, my partner and our little cat. I work for a travel agency specializing in Japan and am a huge fan of anime and manga. I also love film and TV and used to work in film and television - where I met my partner Jeff. Jeff works as a camera assistant for film, TV and live sports coverage and is also skilled at rigging, fabricating, fixing and basic electronics. He loves cooking, video games and films. Our cat - Mocha - is a chatty and friendly little fellow who loves humans. She is estimated to be about 8 years old (she was rescue animal) but is still quote energetic for her age. She likes to play chase around the house and sit with you while you watch TV. We are clean and organized and love to cook. I'm also a huge coffee lover and will bring my bean grinding, milk forthing coffee machine to contribute to my new home (in our current house anyone can use it as long as they help chip in for the coffee beans). We have been living in a share house for years with 3-4 people and are team players when it comes to cleaning and maintaining the house. We are looking to move to a new share house from our current share house in Petersham. Our current share house is with a great group of people but is quite small and very, very old. With that in mind we are looking for a more modern share house with more space and ideally street parking for my boyfriend's car. I work in the CBD but my partner works all over the city depending on his current placement. Ideally we are looking for somewhere within 30 minutes of the CBD.
I recently graduated from Uni, and am working full-time. I'm pretty easy-going and like to keep my space tidy. I attempt to be fit by boxing a couple of times a week, but am a fairly useless fighter :). I'm happy to be social with flatmates, but also don't mind 'me time'. I grew up overseas so am not fussed by anything (i.e. pets, smoking etc.).
We are an international couple (Aussie and Swedish/ German) that love all aspects of homesteading: cooking, baking bread, growing vegetables and herbs, and preserving our harvests. We have lived in more than 10 share houses as a couple in five countries, and really enjoy socializing and sharing with like minded people. After two years of farming and travelling, we are now working in Sydney. Joel is an engineer and Elisa works as a data analyst and hula hoop teacher. We also volunteer at various environmental/ community garden initiatives in the city. Apart from gardening, growing food and cooking we love hiking, sports, watching documentaries and arthouse films, going to music festivals and getting involved in community activities. We are part of a coop in Sydney, which allows us to bulk buy organic food for a very good price. We'd love to live in a space that has a garden, but we are flexible on living arrangements.
Hi. I will start my PhD at Macquarie university from January/February. So I will arrive in Sydney around end of January (or early February), 2019. I would like to have my own room and own bathroom. I can share other parts of the house e.g. kitchen , living room etc with my house/flat mates. However, I would like privacy for my studies and hobbies. I will need a living place which is near to the Macquarie University. I am also okay with places which are to the public transport facilities. About me : I am a friendly person but keep to myself most of the times. I like and prefer privacy. But I also like to enjoy a party every now and then. I am very particular about cleanliness and prefer a room which is easy to clean even in busy days of the week. I like trekking, hiking and traveling. I love eating good and healthy food. I am learning to cook, so I do a lot of cooking experiments when I am at home. Some of them are successful. :) I am also fond of gardens. I would like a place where I can grow a small garden. Do you already have a garden? This will definitely be an added bonus to my search for my room. Above all these, I love reading. So, I would definitely love to share a house with people who also like reading and can discuss about the books they read about. P.S. Please note that if the rent per week is approaching to AUD 300, I would definitely prefer and expect my own bathroom. Thank you. :) Hope to see some of you soon! Let's see how it goes. I would contact some of you in late December for the availability of a private room in a house share and see if I can inspect the place once I arrive in Sydney. Thank you, Sidneysiders! :)
Hi I’m looking for a room closer to work in Balgowlah. I work full time and pretty quite person. I respect personal space and clean up after myself. I love footy and bbqs in the weekend. Summer I’m usually out and about and winter spent hibanating lol
Hi! I’m Samson :) I’m 23 years old and looking for a place to stay while I work and study part time. I love my movies and enjoy a nice chat at the end of the day. I tend to keep to myself and always keep things tidy. Im very laid back and flexible about my surroundings. My bills are always paid in time and I keep things very organised. I currently live in Port Macquarie but would like to move down to Sydney by Jan 20th. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have :)
*NOTE* I will be away for holidays between 11-30 January and will only be available for inspections starting February I am a working professional in the media/publishing industry looking for long-term accommodation close to or at least accessible to my office at St. Leonards. I live a relatively minimal lifestyle so staying neat and clean should be with less effort. I can be relied on keeping the rest of the flat/house clean as well. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer meeting up my friends outside rather than do house parties. In my spare time I usually try to be active - I go to a gym regularly and do a little bit of cycling here and there. I'm also keen to learn new sports/activities and join any after hours/weekend clubs. I play a bit of video games and I'm a huge fan of the NBA. I'm still learning how to cook more food, but am keen to share whenever I make something nice. I'm pretty social and keen to meet new people, so I'd be down for a few drinks (in a relaxed environment) once in a while to unwind. As I am working full time, inspections are preferred after 5:30pm and on the weekends.
Hi guys, I am a full-time Site Engineer who works in Asquith, I am a quiet person who respects other privacy. I am down to earth and polite. I am after a nice housemate regardless of race and gender. I am always down with a nice chat and wine. please consider that I only can live with one person. I am after a place close to the train station. Cheers :))
Hey, we're currently three girls living together looking for one or two additional housemates to live with us in a house next year in these potential areas; Chatswood, Roseville, Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Lane Cove, North Ryde (all surrounding areas, open to suggestions). Two of us are currently studying at Macquarie university and the other is working part time. Aged 20-22, we're a very easy going, social household.
