I'm going to be in Brisbane for work for the next 3 months maybe longer. i move a lot for work and always live in shared housing wherever i go so I'm good at fitting in and living with strangers. I cant commit to a long stay due to my work scheduled so you will have to be flexible in that regard. I'd prefer the northern suburbs or even the outer northern suburbs. will consider all suburbs if the price is right. you will be getting a quiet roommate who pays rent on time consistently.
Healthy lifestyle, studying at uni with 2 part time jobs. Relatively quite around the house and not big into partying. Very much appreciate a clean and organised house. I have 2 vehicles (car and bike) so undercover/off street parking is preferred for the car, and a must for the bike. I also have a 600L fridge, microwave, large TV and ps4 I'm more than happy to share with the house.
I am 18 years old, please don’t be discouraged by my age. I was born and grew up, here, in Brisbane. I am very easy going, clean, friendly and reliable. For work I work in childcare as an early childhood educator, I usually (99.99% of the time) work 5 days a week... So on the weekends I usually just like to relax and enjoy my me time or have a cheeky night out in town.
Hi I work as a support worker for disabled people so am very compassionate and accepting of others. Have 3 children who live with their mum in Newcastle. Divorced but have a new partner who lives in the area that I am after. Very clean and quiet Ex farmer so good with house/flat chores etc
My name is Emie, from Philippines. I’m a shift worker for a pathology company as phlebotomist. I always work for different hospitals here in Brisbane. I like to go to the beach on my days off or just hang around and watch Netflix or read. I like to have a few drinks every now and then but not to the point of getting drunk coz I am also on call at times. I’m friendly but respects privacy of any of housemates if needed be.
Hello, My name is Sara. I am currently looking for a room in North Brisbane. I come with a very friendly, housetrained Maltese/poodle named Willow, she is 2 years old. I am studying paramedics full time and work part time at a hospital. I do have furniture if require but happy to store/ sell if need be. I am always up for socialising but being in my final year of uni I am a bit of a hermit at the moment. Not after a party house! I am looking to move in the last week of March/ first week of April. \ PS not sure why my photo keeps zooming in to only see my forehead! More than happy for you to add me on facebook or Instagram if you'd like to see who you'll be living with! Just send me a msg :)
27yo Scottish girl working full time at Suncorp. Looking for flatmates who do their own thing during the week and don't mind the occasional weekend adventure or night out
I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas if need be but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat sofa - dark tan leather; Small storage buffet; a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be 😉 Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flatscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
I’m looking for teamups for an apartment somewhere within the city or on the further along the Northside! I’m aiming for a rental that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, and to keep costs down for both parties. I have a 12 year old cat, she’s friendly, but a little bit skittish and weary of other animals so I’d like to keep it to just her for her own comfort :) And if you enjoy patting a cat for ages, she’ll love you for it. Happy to live with someone who does or does not smoke, but drugs are a no-no. I always keep common spaces clear of clutter and mess and expect the same from a future housemate! I don’t care what your room looks like, that’s 100% yours, haha! I’m an open minded and relaxed person, I’m happy to have a chat or give you your own space :) I work mostly afternoons and overnights so I won’t constantly be in your space (unless of course you work similar shifts, haha!) Not looking to live with someone who wants to have a party every weekend, guests are always welcome, but as someone who works weekends usually combined with shift work, I sleep mostly throughout the day so need that quiet/relaxed environment. Just some basic common respect is what I’m hoping to find :) Side note - you will only need to provide/have your own bedroom furniture. I will be purchasing a fridge and washing machine out of my own pocket and already have a small couch/tv/etc! I also have Netflix you can have free reign of for free, hahaha!
Hi there, I'm a kiwi girl and have lived in Brisbane for 2.5 years, working FT as a primary school teacher. I like to keep it low key during the week, however I love a night out whether it be drinks, dancing, movies, dinner etc or getting out of the city with friends and family during my weekends. I enjoy living in an environment where we have our own space, however get along enough to be able to vibe well with each other, watch Netflix and have a wine on a Friday! I'm quite easy going and relaxed and love a good sense of humour, but ultimatley want to live with people who are, like myself, respectful, mature, conscious of cleanliness and personal space, and are responsible enough to pay their bills on time :). I'd prefer living with females but would be happy with a blend of both. If that appeals to you, please don't hesitate to contact me. Kara.
Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am a 21 year old currently looking for a new place to rent. My move date is very flexible so I am open to any date from about mid Feb onwards. Ideally looking for a place that will accommodate pets as I own a very friendly, well-behaved cat (pictured) who would be moving with me. As for me, I work full time as a Travel Agent in North/Inner Brisbane so I am only really home nights and a couple of days every other week. I mostly keep to myself - you will likely find me reading, or in the kitchen baking - but I am also quite social so will always be down for a chat or movie/tv marathon. You'll always be able to count on my paying bills on time, and keeping the place clean!
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28 and currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house has always appealed to me:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
I’m 22, queer and vegan. I love art, animals, shopping, food, philosophy, nature and video games. I'm looking for a team up or room in a preferably modern home that is vegetarian/vegan based, LGBT+ friendly and close to the city! I'm friendly, tidy, and quiet. Thank you!
I am a young professional working two jobs, so i am not often home. I work in real estate 5/6 days a week and then I work in a bar Friday and Saturday nights. I am very active, i train 6/7 days a week. I like my own space, however I am a very confident person and always up for a chat! Ive lived out of home for 3 years and understand all the basic and complicated house rules with sharing :)
I have 2 cats and 1 dog ( perfect angels) who like being outside or in my room (dog will usually be in my room but outside during the day) I work full time mon-fri as a receptionist at sci fleet Toyota in Albion. I’m a very chilled person who likes doing my own thing but also likes to hang with my new roommate/s have a few drinks or watch tv. I am reasonably clean, spend quite a bit of time at home with the animals (or with family) I love adventuring and spending my weekend at the beach. Looking forward to hearing from you all😊
Hey! My name is Shaun, I’m 23 years old and working full time in the city. I’m a clean housemate (but not OCD), love to have a laugh and hangout, but I also respect others privacy and need for space. (I’m really not good at talking about myself but feel free to ask whatever you want)
Work full time moving over from New Zealand to work as a territory manager. Enjoys cooking and exercise. Love to have a wine and socialise. I’m a foodie! Love finding new cafes or restaurants. I’m a nail tech aswell so you might be lucky enough for me to do your nails 😉 Looking forward to meeting like minded people. Wanting a place with a en-suite, car park and air con in bedroom.
I'm a warm, easy-going, friendly person who is looking for a place to move in. I currently live in Upper Mount Gravatt, but my work is moving to the north side (Hendra) soon, so I'd like to find a place close enough to work before the big move. I love going to the movies or binging a good tv show, reading and writing, and playing games. I work full time at the moment so I'm always looking for some spare time for my hobbies and other passions in life, or just somebody to hang out with after a long day. Preferably, I'd like to move into a place with other women and a max of two housemates as that is what I am most comfortable with at this time. I am available to move in at any time with short notice, hopefully before the end of January. I am looking for places that have easy access to train-lines or busses that could get me to the city so I can still get to work before the office move, and also looking for unfurnished rooms. I do currently work 9-6 during the week. Please only message me during these hours as my work requiries me to be on the phone. I am available to message or call at any time during the weekend, and please ask if you'd like my email or facebook.
Hi! My name is Jordan, I will be studying a Graphic Design course in Fortitude Valley commencing in February 2019, currently living in Toowoomba and am looking to make the move to Brisbane! I’m a very positive, clean, polite and easy going person, not much of a party person as I prefer to relax in my spare time but always keen to hang out and have a good laugh. Preferably looking for other females to live with and my moving dates are extremely flexible!
Hey there! I'm a law student working on a casual basis in the legal industry. Recently changed to a different university and would prefer to live closer to it. I keep mostly to myself but I am still very sociable, fun, and considerate of fellow occupants. I enjoy motorbiking, bush walking, gym (bit of a fitness freak), folkloric dancing, and hanging out with friends. Looking for a 12 month lease as I will be exchanging to Europe at the start of 2020! Uczę się polskiego i chciałbym mieszkać z kimś kto mówi w tym języku.
