Hey, I'm interested to see if I can be a good fit in your property. I'm 32, currently working in event building, and studying in a trade school as a mechanic. Most of the time I'll be outside home, busy or studying. Most of my days I have an early start and go to bed early. Sometimes I get odd starting times or work overnight. I try to keep fit by running or practicing sports, although lately, I've been not very disciplined in this aspect. I am looking for a place where I can stay until July 2020 where I finish my current mechanical training. I like to socialize, spend some time at home with the housemates but I can keep to myself as well. I am looking for: Unfurnished room, on-street/off-street parking, ideally aircon in the room, if not at least having a ceiling fan, and a wardrobe. I am a non-drinker (very rarely) and a non-smoker (prefer to live in a smoke-free house). In my free time, I usually read a book, go to meet friends and/or do some sort of exercise. Lately, I have been investing my time practicing yoga, Jiu-jitsu or running. Let me know if this sounds like a profile that you would consider I am looking to move at the end of November 2019. Jorge
Hello, My name is Charlie, Currently living in Brisbane at the moment in the Gap and am looking to make a move to the Inner City within the next month. Anywhere such as Newmarket, Kelvin Grove, CBD, Toowong, Paddington, Red Hill, Bardon, Ashgrove, Newfarm and suburbs surrounding. I am looking for a house with a mix of boys and girls that has that classic homely feel to it. I am keen on obviously living together but would be very much keen for a gang that likes to get involved in activities together. I am a social drinker when I have free time. Any other question about me feel more then free to hit me up!
Hi, I'm a 41 yo professional working in government (i.e., mature and reliable). I work standard business hours and enjoy the usual stuff like catching up with friends, eating out, gym and Netflix! I'm very independent and happy doing my own thing, however also enjoy sharing a drink and chatting about the day. I'm friendly, thoughtful and considerate, and like things clean and tidy. I'm that clean desk person at work ;) I also have a burmese cat who is strictly indoors. We're a package deal which makes things tricky. He is very affectionate and not your typical feline, having more dog-like traits. You would have to be vigilant about keeping him inside, and he does try and escape! Looking for share place having recently moved to Brisbane.
hey :) FIFO worker in the Pilbara, 2 weeks on 1 week off ( however currently contracted in the city for the next few months); would like a place to leave my car and motorbike while I am away; would like to be close to a train station; in no hurry to find a place, however if the right place comes along, I'll be ready to move; Super laid back; very respectful; bit of an environmentalist; likes: -hiking, -snowboarding, -skating; -Track days with the R6 (motorbike); -Movie nights looking for a chilled place; I'm easy to talk to especially if there's a cold beer involved;
I'm a tidy person, organised and responsible. I like cooking, watching movies and have some drinks sometimes. Hope I can find a place that I can feeling like home! I have been living in Australia for 4 years, majority of the time in Brisbane. I forgot to say... I'm from Brazil!!!
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020, so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. At the moment I've a 24hrs / fortnight contract as a Sales Co-Worker at IKEA Logan. Although this is not a full time contract, I am taking over a lot of shifts from my colleagues. So I will be away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so fully independant during my stay in Australia. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Hey, I’m Rebekah (or Bek). I am a really friendly, chilled person - - I love dogs, plants, a comfy home (with cushions and blankets), good food and good vibes. I am a very organised and clean person, and am very conscious of my impact on the environment. I am looking to ‘teamup’ for a new sharehouse. I am currently living in an apartment by myself and I am sure you can understand, it is both expensive and lonely. Looking for 1-2 people who are down to earth, clean, non-smoking, are interested in living a green sustainable lifestyle (or at least in learning more about it) and are ready to have awesome housemate dinners, outings, board game/movie/wine and cheese/anything nights. Property-wise, I am looking for either an apartment or house that is either on the newer side or has been recently renovated, accessible, has parking, and preferably close distance to a train. Please let me know if you are interested!
We are two friends both studying full-time and working part-time and looking to team up with 1 or 2 others to find a house around the beginning of January, initially for 6 months but with potential to extend for longer. We're always down for a chat and a wine or a good Netflix binge but also respectful of having a quiet space. Looking for people who are friendly and easy going.
I am looking for a private room in a share house, would prefer my own bathroom but open to sharing. I have my own car and would like it to either be garaged or off-street. I will be working FIFO so only home 7 days in a fortnight. Easy going, obsessively clean, mother hen nature, love music (rock and metal) often out on weekends supporting my friends playing, or festivals/gigs. I'm sarcastic as hell and never stop cracking jokes at everyone's expense. I do like a chat and feeling comfortable to do so, but I really do enjoy my own company sometimes. Very honest and will say if I don't agree with how something is done. I'm chill and you can't easily offend me, I'm looking for somewhere where a positive outlook is welcomed.
Quick version: I’m pretty much a massive nerd that’s into rock climbing and music festivals as much as video games and technology that’s looking to join/team up with one or more room mates to search for a place north Brisbane that’s got good internet and a dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Long version: Like it says above I’m as into playing video games and internet culture as much as going to the beach, rock climbing and anything like that! Really wanna do sky diving and bungee jumping sometime and there’s so many bands I wanna see it’s ridiculous. Dog isn’t mine- I just like dogs Currently I’m working full time as a Therapy Centre Coordinator as well as in NDIS Client Plan Management and it’s actually a lot more fun than it sounds! Kinda... I’m also studying IT at QUT part time at gardens point. Search area is anywhere north Brisbane just so I can go between work and uni a lot easier while keeping up with my rock climbing in West End/Ennogra, super cool if you do it too but if nah it’s all G. Close to public transport would be 10/10 My most ideal place would be anywhere that has good internet and a dishwasher because I’m hardly actually home so hand washing dishes isn’t something I’m keen on. I don’t really care about having my own bathroom or toilet as long as we both/all keep it clean and all that. I’ve got a queen bed and a desk I’d like to fit in my bedroom so space for that is one of the only real requirements I have. Having good flatmate(s) that I can get along with would be the other, I’m currently experiencing the opposite and it’s wack.
Hey, My name is Oli. I have just moved over to Brisbane from beautiful New Zealand. I am looking for a vibrant house, that is social but not a party house! I am a car dealer by trade and sell brand new cars. I work full time 6 days a week. Enjoy a good Ol bevy after work! Pay bills on time and am a good laugh !
Hi! My name is Hannah, I work part-time as a barista & study architecture online. Looking for potential roommates next year in a spot close to public transport. I’m very tidy & do keep to myself but like to hangout with housemates as well!
