Heya! My name's Susmitha, or Sus for short. I'm a third-year, full-time student teacher studying at Victoria University. Art, nature and music are a few of my passions and I enjoy unwinding in my room as much as I enjoy occasional chats! I do my best to be respectful, clean and considerate and would love to move in with people who share these values too. :) If you have a cozy space that's budget-friendly, safe and inclusive; feel free to drop a a message! x
I’m a friendly open person, easy to talk to. I like to keep my surroundings clean and don’t like to live in too much clutter. I’ve lived in a share house before and would like to be able to talk and socialise with my housemates but also prefer my alone time as I’m sure others would too 😊 I work full time in banking in the city.
Im a freelance photographer, and I also own a very popular bakery here in Melbourne that I started in 2010. Im looking to live in a house with people that are very open minded and easy going. Im into music of all sorts, art and photography. I also love the gym and strength training a few times a week. I grow rare cacti. I love a good beer here and there, and going to gigs or festivals. I sometimes do photography at gigs and I love being around creative people in general. I have a 4.5 year old beautiful son that will need to visit me a few times a week so he gets dad time. I usually take him on some kind of adventure. Hes amazing ,very smart and very polite. I love communal chats and having a beer over dinner and or watching a movie with folks. Im open to having house parties if thats something people wanted to do every once in a while. I like to go camping and have a large 4x4 van thats so fun its beyond words! So would love to organise some outdoor adventures or taking everyone to a festival. Talk soon! Lucas
Key Points: Male 27 (in January) Work in Retail Creative Unicorn in my spare time (Audio/Music/Videos/Animations) Relocating from Adelaide to Melbournes West #WestisBest. Alright - so I'm relocating from Adelaide to Melbourne in January and I would love to find a humble abode and some giving, compassionate, enjoyable, funny, charismatic housemates to ease my transition. I've lived in Footscray before, and I literally couldn't think of anywhere else to live. This is why I'm looking specifically at finding not just a house, but a sacred and special space in Footscray/Maidstone/Seddon/Kensington/North Melbourne. I love that area so much I made a mini travel show on it: I also make music, silly instagram videos, edit podcasts - the works. Sometimes my projects require large periods of solitude in my bedroom, but when I'm not making something I'm usually making some proper good food in the kitchen. Cooking is so important for my soul, I would be looking to share the soul food with my house mates as well. I'm a bit of a social butterfly, and I'm open to hosting social engagements, but I will stop short of saying that I'm a PRT Animal and definitely not looking for houses that facilitate regular parties and 'sesh's'. I've lived by myself and entered lease agreements before and I know how to keep things neat, clean/tidy. I'll be looking at finding retail work that has full-time hours so you can guarantee that I will have financial stability and pay rent. I work on the principles of common-sense, and would be looking for a household that shares this similar approach to coexistence. I come with a few possessions: A Dyson TV and accompanying unit (40') Bed/Mattress/Draws Tupperware/Kitchen Utensils to cook up culinary storms Stand Up Desk/Multi Computer Work Station A Bike - I use this to get everywhere. A Screamer Book Collection I'd be looking for an unfurnished room with enough space to house my desk set-up. Unfortunately as I'm in Adelaide, I can only have Skype/Face Time Interviews. Obviously I understand this is a major inconvenience until I arrive in January, but it's the only way we can connect and confirm if we are mutually the right fit. If you've made it this far, then I congratulate you. And I reckon we should have a chat. PS: I love dogs. Non-Smoking houses only thank you. Sincerely, Eli
I am 18 and would be starting uni at Victoria university- Footscray park campus in feb. I am from India and will be a full time student. I prefer to read alot but am also kind of extroverted. If there is anything else that you would like to know about me, kindly text me.
Finally graduated University with my Bachelors, looking for a humble abode to live in while I earn my Diploma as a Library Technician. Currently working part-time as a liquor merchant at your local BWS. I come with full financial stability, no allergies and one pot plant. Happy to move into a furnished room or bring my own furniture. Total book nerd, there are always two in my bag and one in my car; movies and television are my passion, and I fondly love all animals. I am an excellent cook, and I love baking so if you've got a sweet tooth, you'll always be well-fed. The only request I have is that I have somewhere to park my car - because it is a very long walk back to where I came from - and access to the internet. In short, I believe I am the perfect candidate for your home, and we would have a marvelous time living together.
Currently in Europe completing my exchange semester, I'll be back in Melbourne on January 7th. I've already started looking for part-time work and a house so that I can hit the ground running when I get back. Studying: Social Sciences, full-time at ACU in Fitzroy Working: Probs something in Admin or Professional Assistant, 20-30 hours per week Hobbies: Gym, outdoors, netflix, writing, hanging with mates Lifestyle: Healthy. Clean eating, whole foods, "flexitarian" diet, taking care of body and spirit, intentionality around routines and habits. Schedule: Busy. Will be working, studying, gymming, socialising, so will be out of the house quite a bit, and taking it pretty easy and quiet when I am home. As a renter: Conscientious. Always pay rent on time and take care of the property. As a housemate: Well-versed. Have shared for years, comfortable with the etiquette such as not making noise at night, cleaning up after oneself, etc. Looking for: A household that values health and wellbeing. Not a party house. Clean and hygienic spaces. Somewhere that is pleasant to return home to at the end of a long day, and somewhere I can be comfortable bringing friends or family over for a meal or cup of tea. Also would love to join a household that is fun, caring and genuinely interested in each other. House dinners and game nights are the best! Also a TV-free house would be amazing, if possible! Side-note: My wonderful ex-hubby (still friends) currently has custody of our gorgeous adult pooch (Ridgeback X). I'd love to be able to bring her over for a week or so here and there to share the love! Not a deal-breaker, though. Non-smoker. No drugs. Still journeying towards that elusive, expensive goal of zero-waste living.
Hi my name is Mike, I work in a nursing home, looking after the elderly. I'm looking to rent a furnished private room, 3 months minimum stay. I'm originally from Adelaide but now live and work in Melbourne. I'm an easy going guy, no dramas, flexible and easy to talk to. I don't smoke but drink socially. I don't wanna end up writing an essay, so feel free to message me if you would like to know more.
I am clean and quiet Japanese female. I have a part-time job and work 4-5 days/nights per week. It is in Maidstone and I want to stay close in this area. I have own car and need to have parking spot off-street or garage would be greater... My hobbies are dance, gym, meeting friends, driving along the coast and watching movies in my room with Japanese whiskey on hand...
I'm 26 and have only recently moved to Melbourne after living by the coast. I’m a quirky and cheery gal, always seen with a smile on my face. I work full time Monday-Friday at DHHS in Footscray in Social work I do keep it fairly low key during the week due to my work hours (they can be long and unpredictable!) but love coming home and sharing a meal, a bev or a chit chat with whomever I am living with. On the weekend you'll find me doing something arty-crafty, seeing friends/fam or having a good ol' boogie somewhere 😄 I am very well house-trained; I have house shared for 6 years previously so I get all the ins and outs of living with others – my communication skills are ace 👌
