I'm moving to Melbourne from Auckland, NZ. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Hey! My name's Faye and I work in the travel industry as an Adventure Consultant. Having recently transferred to my new role closer to the city I'm looking for a place with easy access of Glenferrie. Originally from the UK, I moved to Melbourne in 2011 and since then I have gained experience living in a variety of shared accommodations and now I'm looking for my new home. What you can expect of me: I work Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday and travel often on both work and personal trips. I'm a low consumer, very tidy and respectful, I don't own a lot of stuff! (no tv/furniture etc) and I'm really friendly. I'm very laid back and sociable but I do enjoy privacy and downtime in my own living space. I'm not a big drinker but I am a big foodie, so if I come in late it's thanks to a wild night on beef tataki or pizza! Ha. And lastly, I don't cook much.. (so not much mess) but I do like to bake goodies from time to time. Anything else you'd like to know, please ask away. What I'm looking for: I'm looking to share a peaceful and welcome environment with like-minded people who are laid-back, respectful and great communicators. Low consumers are ideal if bills are to be shared and I'd like to feel welcome to invite a friend or two over every now and again. I'd also like to share with other full-time workers who aren't home all the time either :) On a side note.. I'm also a sucker for a good pub quiz! All in all, I'm looking for a "home". Having left all my family behind in England, a comfortable, chilled environment is very important to me. I look forward to meeting you :)
URGENT! I'm from Japan, half Australian and a first-year student at Monash:) Love music, animals, outdoor, cooking. Quiet and Clean (would prefer to live with female students) Close to bus/train stop and shopping area Thank you!
Hello everybody, I'm currently living in SA and have just about had enough of this place frankly, I just cannot get work here to save my life. I live in a nice house that my parents spent all their money rebuilding, but I need to move out for my own good. I love Sydney and Melbourne and think its a good place to start. I'm pretty quiet overall, but have a better sense of humour than many and enjoy travelling and photography. I tend to prefer staying at home, I never have been and never will be of the "party type", its not for me. I'm an online gamer too and thus my only prerequisite is an immediate wired internet connection. I am ready to move at any moment's notice. Currently not working at the present moment but feel a change in scenery is exactly what I need to find something. Thanks, Anthony.
Hi name is Gina and me and my partner Ashleigh are moving to Melbourne from Perth, we have à 8 year old husky and a 9 year old cat we dont mind paying extra for the animals and a bond, they are well looked aftered and well mannered animals and we do want them inside if possible. I'm just your average 24 year old :) I work Monday - Friday and enjoy hanging out with my mates on the weekend. When I'm not working or hanging out with my mates I like going to the gym, travelling and checking out the sights of Melbourne (told you I was average haha). I'm looking to move into a flat where I can hangout with my other flatties rather than keeping to ourselves (although I appreciate space is needed from time to time). I have been flatting for the last 5 years so I know all the do's and don'ts an appreciate a clean space. If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message! Hope to speak to you soon :)
Hey guys I'm Belinda! I'm a relaxed, easy going person who is looking for a private room. I work full time as a lawyer, I'm clean (I pull my fair share of the chores and then some), respectful and I always pay bills on time. Always up for making new friends, but also enjoy my own space as well. Hoping to share a happy place with likeminded people. I also have a little pug/staffi who is 13 years old, so looking for a place where people love dogs. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
I am aware people need space, but also know that a house is boring if you don't socialise with your roomies. I'm a teacher. So I'm in a professional job. I also play sport on the weekends, so wherever I live I will always be in and out all the time. I'm friendly, and talkative (not to the point where I annoy you)...and I like to think I'm easy going.
Hi! I'm a 28 year old working guy, coming back to Melbourne after spending some time travelling and working overseas. I'm a pretty active person, easy going, and respectful of others space and time. Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Cheers, Tom
I'm a biomedical engineer moving to Melbourne for a new job and couldn't be more excited! I'm American - originally from Seattle but spent the past 5 years in the NYC area. I'm very clean and respectful. I love my work which means I keep quite busy during the week. I love to socialize, explore, meet new people and go out on the weekends. I'm not a party animal but always am up for some fun. Hobbies include yoga, going to the gym, reading, enjoying a glass of wine with friends :)
In a nutshell: I'm a house trained, full-time student at Swinburne, part-time waitress, and a full-time funny person. (Note: Sorry for the dark-ish photo) A little more detail: I'm a 19 year old social sciences student (at Swinburne, Hawthorn) housing the soul of someone who is far older than I am. I have a very steady part-time job as a waitress working the dinner shift in a beautiful little restaurant in Toorak. I grew up in Adelaide and have moved to Melbourne for better universities and employment opportunities. I have lived out of home for over 6 months now, and have been paying rent to a parent/house mate for over one year (A grand total of 1.5 years!), and am extremely organised when it comes to paying rent/utilities. I am generally a clean and tidy person, especially when it comes to communal areas. I'm also very respectful of the privacy as others, although I am more than happy to catch up with roommates for some good food and cheeky bevs. In my free time I like to catch up with friends (cliche, I know), go travelling, hiking, take photos, play video games, eat reasonably healthy food and sometimes you might even catch me doing some form of exercise. I'm really looking for a place I can feel really comfortable in, and I'd love to get along well with my future house/flat mates. Feel free to send me a message if you're interested!
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I do some freelance marketing/writing on weekdays, and work in bars and clubs on weekends and some weekday nights. I also have a fitness/dance background. Hobbies: public speaking, dancing, traveling This is my last winter in Melbourne, and I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months to 1 year. I plan to move interstate in March/April/May 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am staying in Melbourne for just under a year longer so I can work through some legal processes (good stuff). I am based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture, but will consider a semi-furnished studio. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. It is too big and superfluous. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced and wants my attention. I'm too busy to deal with him. Hence, the ad :) If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, you must be: - busy and have real hobbies - NOT be in debt; not be cheap with household items - the room must have an ensuite - you must understand that I'm not sharing a house to socialize or be best friends - clean, but not a clean freak - there's a difference - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple.
I am an American here on a student visa with Le Cordon Bleu Australia in Morrabbin. I am from Los Angeles, California; and I am a very easy going guy who goes with the flow, wether it be hiking, museums, TV, or anything in between. I will confess I'm sometimes not the tidiest individual, but I will always correct the issue when it is pointed out. I have somewhere to hang my hat for the moment, but am looking for somewhere to be come December or January. I am looking for somewhere close to LCBM's Moorabbin campus.
We're rarely ever home at the same time due to opposite working hours, and on our days off we like to be out catching up with friends, coffee, tapas, yoga, day trips, patting other peoples dogs - the usual stuff! :) Both easy going, very clean and tidy, sociable, into sharing wine and cheese boards, our last flatmate is now one of our closest friends :)
Hi my name is Victor, currently working full time as a Business Development Coordinator. Looking for a place in the South Eastern suburbs and wanting to share a place with other housemates who are looking for similar accommodation. However I would prefer to have my own bathroom. If this is something you can help with or are interested in then please feel free to get in touch with me.
I am an out going Aussie/American Citizen working in the Hospitality industry, running a bar in the Melbourne CBD.I am very clean and tidy. Love have a chat but also love my own space. I work a mix of days and nights at the moment so you might not see me for a few days, but then will be home most Sunday and Monday nights. On my Days off I enjoy hanging out with my friends or relaxing watching Suits or Brooklyn 99 (or something of that nature) and taking it easy. I currently have all of my old apartment in storage while I look for a new home. Looking for either a furnished or unfurnished apartment. I am looking for something at least 6 months length or longer. I am looking for a house mate who is down to earth, easy going and like minded.
G'Day! I'm a 29 y.o. mechanical/aerospace engineer who has just recently moved over from Adelaide to take advantage of the better job market after a bit of travel (and my girlfriend lives here too, so that's a plus). I'm clean, sociable and respectful. I cycle and rock climb for hobbies and am looking for a place to call home in Melbourne. Love a good chat and a beverage but understand that work comes first during the week (or weekend...whichever). I'm currently working hospitality while I wait on a few offers to come through but have a stable wage and consistent hours. Would love to catch up for a coffee to see if we gel and then go from there. oh...and I'm a badass cook too. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers, Nate.
Hi.. I am Elen. I originally come from Indonesia. I am on my final year studying master at Swinburne. I am a friendly and easy going female and love to travel. I am looking for a single room, has to be has a living room and near public transport. Prefer to share the house with females. I am a pretty tidy person. I like to socialise but sometimes i like my own time. I have been living in a share house for about four years. I usually pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to share meals or have drinks on the weekend too or go to bars on the weekend if I have time.. I am looking to share the house with people that I can call friends and whom I can get along with.
I cook, I clean and I'm quiet. I really need to move out of my parent's house and move somewhere nearer to uni. I'm easy to get along with (I think) and I don't like confrontation. If I'm doing something you don't like TELL ME and I will stop straight away! Most of my spare time is spent at work or writing assignments!
24 year old student, work part in a pharmacy and study part time. Like to be social but also have time to myself. Easy to get along with. Looking for a medium to large room east of the city.
Hey guys! I'm laid back and friendly. I would love to find housemates that could also be friends. I am also very respectful of privacy and sometimes want my own space too. I am studying engineering at Swinburne and work there too so can cover rent and bills. I have been in sharehouses for 5 years now so understand the ins and outs. I have a whole house full of furniture so I'm keen on a team up :) (super comfy lounge chairs). I also have my cat, ruby, who is a sweetie and loves attention. She is on my current lease and has been perfect so im sure my landlord would be willing to help out with getting another place. Let me know if you're keen to meet up as I've seen a place in Ormond which would be cool to move in to! :)
I'm an international student from Indonesia, looking for a furnished room. I'm easy-going, clean, tidy and responsible. I enjoy listening to music (using headphones of course), watching movies, reading books, and going out for good food every now and then. :)
