Hi! I’ve just recently graduated from a Masters postgraduate in Monash. I'm from Brunei (we're on Borneo!). As I am extending my stay to work over Christmas/summer holidays, I'm looking for an initial one-month accommodation from January 3 2020 onwards, with potential for 2 months extra (depending on my visa extension). I am working 9-5 on weekdays at an office in East Bentleigh so I'm mostly a homebody and keep to myself. It is a requirement for me to have easy access to public transportation. I need to be able to get onto Frankston line + the 630 or 627 bus for work, and to be able to go meet up with friends on weekends. My budget is up to 300 p/w including bills. My preferences are studio or 1 bedroom apartment. However, if the house, location and cost are great, I would be interested to share own bedroom with en-suite bathroom, with 1-2 other housemates. :) A little about me: I was in the UK for the past 3 years for my undergraduate in English, at the University of Exeter. I just finished my Masters in Cultural and Creative Industries at Monash University. I love reading, writing, museums, traveling, films, tv, fashion, art, food, music - and am down to share my interests over tea, coffee or hot chocolate! I'm easy-going, resourceful, respectful of boundaries, and most importantly, I keep up with rent and bills reliably.
I’m 24 year old kiwi chick who’s just recently made the jump from NZ to Melbourne for work. I love the outdoors, going on adventures, to the gym and the occasional drink. Looking for a home with social people who like to hang out together. I’m easy going, tidy and always pay rent on time.
Hey. I am 25 years old male working as a chef. I am very easy going, chilled out and clean person. Not a party person at all but dont mind if your friends come over. On day offs usually at home binge watching some tv series or trying new restaurants. I have got a stable income so bills and rent wont be a problem for me. I am looking for teaming up with someone. Preferably someone under 30yrs with stable income who likes to keep the house clean and tidy. I am looking for a place in Malvern (near the train station)as I have been living in this area for 3 years now and don't want to move from here.
Rural and Regional person living and working in Melbourne for a while after moving back to Victoria to care for my mother before she passed away. Have stayed on working in a hospital as an Orderly in a permanent Monday-Friday role but my usual work and interest is agriculture and environmental land management. I am getting fitter again and enjoying a good social life in Melbourne a city I know well but have never lived in before. I have to move out of a place I have been care-taking in January and I have a nucleus of things down here (fridge, bed, etc) but also have a base house up in Rockhampton where most of my furniture and things are. I'm wanting to stay on in Melbourne for at least another 6-12 months but have decided not to buy here or take on a long term lease and am looking for a good person in a handy location to share sensibly with. I'm neat and clean and pretty easy going. I like to get out of the house after work to Spanish lessons, fitness training 2-3 times a week and to socialise with friends on the weekends at theatre, cinema or bars, cafes etc. No dramas here, I'm gay, single and happy to meet new people and keep enjoy living and working in Melbourne.
I'm looking to teamup with someone to start our own sharehouse or join an already existing, friendly sharehouse. I'm really bubbly and enjoy having a good time. I’m not a huge drinker but do socially. I love coming home to a relaxed and happy environment. I appreciate people’s personal space and also like my own alone time sometimes. It would be great to find someone of similar interests and around the same age. I'm pretty outgoing and like a chat from time to time! I work as a receptionist 3/4 days a week, and on my days off I enjoy spending time with friends and going out exploring. I’m also looking at studying Vet Nursing in the New Year. I have a 5 month old Maltese Shih Tzu so my new housemate/s will have to like adorable puppies!! I’m easygoing, flexible and an empathetic roommate looking to just find somewhere to live while I look towards the future. I always clean up after myself and actually enjoy cleaning so you will often find me doing so! I’m in no rush to move at the moment. Finding a roommate/s who I really get along with is my number one priority. Feel free to send me a message if you think we’d be a great fit! :)
Hi I'm Brad!! I love chatting and listening to others, hanging out over a coffee or cocktails but I am respectful of other people space and privacy. I make sure I clean up after myself and expect the same of others. Always up for a laugh
Hey guys. Moving from Ballarat to Melbourne within the next few months. Currently working in retail as a store manager in Knox but also a fully qualified graphic designer (self proclaimed art wanker). Looking for a room in a house with likeminded people. I'm down for general tomfoolery, drinks and board games and I'm super keen to be mates but can also be introverted and holed up in my room on my computer playing OW for hours. I'm a cat mumma to a lil asshole named Huxley, but he doesn't need to tag along with me. Preferably a household that's LGBTQIA+ friendly would be brilliant. Ty ty 💕
Super friendly gal looking for a new place to call home. Hi there, I’m Felicity, 34, single, moving from Brisbane to Melbourne, either before or after I find a job there (in office admin). Also moving to be near family and friends in Victoria. Will travel to country Vic some weekends. I’m a clean, easy going housemate. Not a party person. Have a steady rental history. Always pay rent and bills on time. Looking for a place to call home! I like to chill and watch netflix, nice walks and finding cool cafes and bars. I have no pets and am a non smoker. I have a queen size bed. I also have a 2 seater couch I purchased new a few years ago - can bring if it will fit or if needed. Looking for easy going like minded housemate/s with no pets and non smoking, to share a place with. Happy to have a phone or video chat!
I work reasonably long hours as a builder so I'm only home evenings. I head to my hometown of Glenrowan most weekends. I'm a clean & tidy person & certainly willing to do what's necessary in a share house environment. Something pretty important is a peaceful place as I'm up pretty early most days. Previously in share acc. with uni students & would prefer a quieter environment moving forward. That said l enjoy a good laugh & try not to take life, or myself too seriously. Cheers
I'm new to Melbourne from NZ. Came over for work and for a change. I work as an Operations Analyst for an Audiology provider. I'm clean and tidy as a housemate. Social but also like doing my own things sometimes too. (eg Creative writing and Computer Programming). I enjoy hanging out with friends, chilling, watching sport. Looking for a good situation where I'm compatible with the people I live with. The office I work at is out in Mulgrave so looking for something roughly in Melbournes East. Closer to the city the better though.
My names Eve (29) and I’m a full time Event Manager here in Melbourne. My current housing situation has come to an end so on the hunt for another place that isn’t too far from work! I’ll jump straight in with saying I’m an animal lover and do have my own little canine best friend who would be living with me. His name is Rudi and he’s a miniature Maltese (7 months old and not likely to grow above a teeny 2.5kg!). He’s house trained and has been living in an apartment with me in Toorak since I adopted him at 12 weeks. He’s adjusted really well and truly just loves cuddles and is my shadow more than anything else. He comes to work with me everyday too so wouldn’t be hanging around at home on his own etc. I’m super easy going and (truth be told) adore my job so spend a lot of my time onsite (I work in the Royal Botanic Gardens managing the Moonlight Cinema). I work afternoon / evenings. I play netball and am keen for a wine / board game / Netflix session as much as the next person. I’m reliable, friendly and social (not a party house vibe for this gal though). I cook, clean and am pretty easy to slot into whatever arrangement you may have in your home.
