I enjoy catching up with friends for a coffee, playing trivia nights and chilling out at home. I pay rent/bills on time, quiet but still sociable ***apologies upfront but not looking for any places that have pets...***
Hi, I am Chantel. I am 20 years old and I just got a new job at Westfield Carindale so I'm looking to move somewhere close to there. I am a friendly, easy going person who is pretty quiet but never boring. I have graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts in applied theatre and enjoy watching movies and playing video games. I'm a huge animal person so anyone with pets is fine with me :) I have a pet cat with me at home and would love to be able to bring him with me instead of leaving him with my parents, he is super friendly with people and other animals and has a very funny personality. I'm very clean and always do my share. I am very respectful towards other people and their possessions and get along with people who are the same.
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
So my name is lachlan and im a university student at the nathan campus. I am currently looking for a house to rent with my girlfriend that is located within around 10mins to university. Obviously we are looking for a place that conveniently located, busses and shops. 4 main things -we have a dog named mishka she is around 3 years old. if you love dogs you will love her to death. -my gf requires an en suite due to mishka and her king bed -you dont need to worry about us being all gross and yucky as a couple and you will never feel like a third wheel. this is due to me being an ACE. - the 6months i only a security measure in case the living situation becomes unfavourable for any reason ect. construction work next door. If all remains sweet than a year is fine. my gf has made a way more detailed list of stuff so please go check that out if you are interested. https://flatmates.com.au/F1701905 ps. so basically we need someone to move in with in around mid january. and i forgot to mention no drugs or smoking. weve both had bad experiences with both. cheers lachlan. pps. if you have any questions just chuck me or penny a message.
I'm a second year film student who works part time as a barista, I like long drives and relaxing but also can be heaps of fun. Would love to have dinner and with my flat mates from time to time! I could bring a super cute ragdoll cat but don't need too ! Looking for like minded females or males around my age and a place to call home !
I am a young student at Griffith Nathan, looking to move with my cat Finn into a lovely home with wonderful housemates. I am very tidy and usually keep to myself but also enjoy socialising with friends and housemates.
Hi, My name is Blake, and I'm looking for a place in the South Brisbane area, preferably around in Annerley, Greenslopes, or other nearby suburbs. I'm easy going and looking for one or two other people to share a place with. Either short term or long term suits me, and I'm looking at moving mid-February or so, however, this is flexible. Hope to hear from you soon.
First year Uni student studying at Griffith (South Bank Campus), looking for a friendly group of people to live aside within the surrounding area of my University. Last year i worked full time during my gap year. I am neat and can keep to myself but am always up for chat, in my spare time I like art and am a bit of a film buff. Currently i only have a part-time position however i am reliable and will experience no difficulties with payments. Hoping for something long term, minimum 6 months. Bonus if all bills are included in rent.
Hey guys, My lease runs out in the first week of February and I am looking for a new place to live. I would prefer to try an apartment or townhouse, something with a bit more security. I am studying law so am spend a lot of time studying. I work part time and travel to visit my Mum quite a bit in NSW. She has heaps of cool animals that we could visit! I'm a pretty chatty person but also like my space.
My partner and I are looking for a small unit or granny flat to rent as our first step to living on own. We are both clean, career orientated people with stable incomes. Luke is a Personal Trainer at Goodlife gym, and I, Danielle, am a Sales and Design Assistant at the display village in Rochedale.
Quiet, respectful and mindful of others when needed however very social especially if we get along well. Love spending nights in watching either sport or netflix but love going out for a drink. Lover of breakfast foods and burgers so if you want to try a new cafe or burger joint count me in. Night shift worker away from the city so need a car space (secured or free street parking is fine) and need housemates to be okay with said shift - usual arrival time home from work would be roughly 5-6am. Very understanding that there may be noise around while I sleep during the day and will not make this an issue. Looking for a private room (ensuite or own bathroom preferred but not a deal breaker) where I can walk and explore the Valley and inner city lifestyle and enjoy a drink at live gigs without needing a $60 cab or be a short uber ride away (eg Morningside) Also interested in starting a teamup possibly with one or two others and have seen plenty properties online around Morningside and also some closer to the Valley. Very respectful and clean in shared areas and always open to conversations about how we are able to improve or keep our living situations running well. Feel free to message me whenever. Most likely to reply after 2pm due to sleeping during the day.
Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house (should be move ready in April, possibly sooner). Looking for potential team ups in advance. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also. An undercover or garage spot would be highly regarded.
I'm easygoing, clean and tidy, I respect personal space but I'm down for a chat or movie night or dinner with housemates if they're keen too. I don't smoke or drink. I'm a graphic designer. I enjoy the outdoors including mountain biking, snorkelling and bushwalking. In my down time I enjoy reading, playing guitar, or movie nights.
Hey, my name is Linda Im super friendly and outgoing. Im also very tidy and considerate of people around me. I will be studying as a full time student at Griffith Mt Gravatt doing a bachelor of education.
Hey there! My names max. I'm just looking for a place to stay while I work and train. Im very healthy and fit, love going to the gym and doing MMA. I'm very easy to get along with and I generally just pickup straight after myself so no one has to worry about my messes and I like to cook up healthy meals to have during the week and I don't mind cooking for others. Really looking for some likeminded healthy, but laid back people to spend some time around while I make bank for my training camp in Canada. Im no party animal these days, but I have no problems socializing and having some drinks, I'll never say no to the Bavarian beer cafe. Mostly, with the time I have at home, I'll be drawing, gaming (streaming down the track) and straightout resting from training and work. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Just moved back to Australia from London after 2.5 years to go back to Uni. I'm originally from Ballarat in Victoria but have chosen Brisbane for the warmer weather! I'm into most sports, music (both playing and listening), going on adventures, new experiences and meeting new people. As I'm new to Brisbane I'm ideally looking for a place with like minded people, roughly the same age as me. I'm a good housemate as I am clean and tidy, respectful of housemates space but also up for socialising.
Hi I'm dan, im 27 and I'm a project manager for a civil construction company.. I fly to Sydney and Adelaide for 3 or 4 days most weeks so I won't be home all the time.. I'm fun and adventurous.. I'm a clean house kinda guy and love pets, though I don't have any and enjoy a drink on the weekends
I'm a young, reliable teen looking to move to the big city. Decided for a change and where else but the big city. I'm hoping to be there by January 2017. I'm a fashion illustrator, want-to-be actor. I love animals cats or dogs. Stick to myself but once you get to know me, I believe we will be amazing friends.
I am friendly but quiet, a focused student. I study forensic science and criminology.
We are moving to Brisbane on the 18th of Jan. We are looking and applying for jobs now and will be continuing. (both will be on unemployment from Centrelink) until we find jobs. We are both easy going and very friendly. We are pretty quiet, polite and we are neat and tidy. We both don't smoke or do drugs. We do drink on the occasional event however. I am (Rebecca) 18 years and Ethan is 19 years old.
I am a 23 yr old girl living in Brisbane, working full time. I will never go to the gym with you but I am always down for an adventure. Pretty independent and happy to chill in my room but also pay for Stan and make a mean cheese board if you want to hang out. Can cook, can clean, can't resist a wine. Not in a gang, no crazy ex, and if you do meet my friends I promise you get used to them :)
I'm easy going, love to laugh, little bit of a nerd but sociable, enjoy going out with friends but am introverted so I need some recharge time. I was brought up to be considerate so I do my best to ensure I don't frustrate anybody. I've just graduated with a Bachelor of I.T. in Software Development, but my previous background was in Graphic Design. I've got a job lined up in the city which starts mid February. I'm currently living on the northern part of the Gold Coast, which is where I originally grew up. I love watching movies, playing video games, learning new things (like languages, philosophy, science) and hanging with friends.
Really easy going, clean and tidy. I am really busy between work, sport, studies, gym, etc. I like doing my own thing but I also love socialising. I have my own bedroom furniture so ideally am after an unfurnished room.
I'm a clean, intuitive individual who loves socialising as much as I love my own time. I would love to live in a share house with people around my own age, preferably students. I'm currently studying Business and Psychological Science at Griffith, about to start my third year. I currently work at an architecture printing shop in Slacks Creek. I also have a ute, and have a passion for driving; so if you ever need anything moved, or just need a lift, I'm always happy to help. My hobbies include: Game of Thrones, movie watching, working out, playing PlayStation; all the usual 20-year-old male things. I get along well with women and have lived with them before, and respect the privacy and rules of other housemates, as much as I expect them to respect mine. I'm 6 foot 3, and love working out, but also love pizza. You do the math. If you need furniture moved, or a spider killed (or moved), I'm your guy. I currently live in a share house in Holland Park. I love the location, and to a degree, the house, but my housemates don't seem to understand the value of a clean house, hence why I'm here :)
Nursing student studying at Griffith University, slated to graduate end of next year. Non-smoker, no pets (but would eventually like to get one if allowed). Prefer unfurnished as I have been renting for 10+ years and have my own furniture
Hey! My name is Vanessa, I'm studying full time a bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Counselling and looking for a place to call home for a year or so until I finish my degree. I'm laid back but extroverted so always up for a chat if you are! I'm clean, compassionate, fun loving, really enjoy cooking when I have the time, am a freelanced artist and before starting Uni was a private art teacher. I love the outdoors and music is also one of my passions. I grew up in Brisbane, have travelled heaps, lived in Sydney for four years and now I'm back in the motherland doing my degree. I have a Christian faith, but I'm not judgy and not into evangelising. I will be really busy with Uni commitments, Prac placements, work and trying to fit in a social life so I may seems like a bit of a ghost from time to time. Im not a drinker, smoker nor do drugs and would prefer to live with others who share similar interests of a healthy and wellness lifestyle. For fun I like to go on hikes with my boyfriend, go camping, surfing, travel, pretty much anything outdoors. I like an active social life, so catching up with my friends is important for me! Well that's me in a nutshell. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good candidate for your house-family. Cheers!
I’m moving up from Northern NSW to study at QUT. I’m easy going and pretty chill. I am fairly sociable in the sense that I like to get out and do different things, not just sit around all day. Having said that I also appreciate spending time alone to just relax and hang out. I’m clean and tidy and respectful of other people’s space and privacy. I also work part time so paying rent and bills on time won’t be a problem. I’m pretty much open to any living situation but ideally I would like to get a house with some like-minded people. Having room for activities is a major key but not essential.
We are both mature respectful and reasonable people who like to live a quiet lifestyle as we both dont drink . We are outgoing and do our best to keep everyone happy. More than happy to keep our area in the house clean and contribute to keeping the rest of the house clean, more than happy to cook and share a meal and a chat and do what is expected of a good tenant. Currently unemployed and are on government benefits due to our move back from toowoomba so we need to find accomodation as fast as we can but that dosent affect our ability to pay rent and we are actively looking and will take the first opportunity but dont let that change your mind about us as tennants. We are expecting a baby in march and im finding that can be a problem to most people so if you have a room to offer us without that being an issue we will be forever thankful and appreciative dont assume we need ridiculous ammounts of space because of this because we dont we just need a normal sized room or granny flat please we would preffer to find a place and move in before our little boy is due rather than after if you can help and offer us something we would love to hear from you thanks for reading this and considering us as tennants.
I am moving form Townsville, North QLD to Brisbane in late January 2017 to study. I am very tidy and chilled out and looking to live with similar types. Hoping to make some decent friends and get to know some people who can help me get to know Brisbane too.
I am a responsible, conscientious and neat housemate who is respectful of others and their property. I am looking at either renting a room (preferably with own bathroom) or teaming up to find a new place. I keep to myself for the most part but I also enjoy being sociable over dinner or cheeky Sunday drinks. I adapt easily to personalities around me, I love animals (allergic to cats, sorry!) and good music. I would love to have housemates that enjoy going to live gigs. I also make amazing cookies haha.
A bit about me: I work most of the week (cannon hill area) I'm clean, highly considerate of others, quiet, and respectful. Non-smoker, no pets, no car. Not bothered by smokers, pets, or car-owners. I have all my own furniture, kitchenware, etc. if necessary. What I'm looking for: Looking for long term accommodation. Looking for a place close to public transport to Carindale. Looking to pay $100-150 inclusive of all utilities. More info: I like pets and the colour green. I like to shop at ALDI and local fruit shops and I like to live off smoothies and take-away. I need a decent internet connection. I am a young adult, it is the 21st century and this is important to me.

I am currently studying full time in the natural health industry and work part time when I can in administration. I am looking for jobs in the natural health field at the moment. I am a tidy person and clean up after myself. I am also quite easy going, and won't pry or get into other peoples business unless they want me there. As I am studying quite a bit at the moment I am busy during the day and into the early evening. This means I usually don't go out much during the week. I like to go for drives and hang out with friends in my spare time, and I also enjoy quiet nights in. At the moment I am just looking into whats out there, but I hope to be able to move in early 2017
I work full time generally 6 days a week, I'm pretty active and like to go to the gym after work. Hello, my name is Bill and I am a 54 year old bisexual guy. I am a fairly quiet living person who tends to keep to himself a bit. However, I do think I have a pretty good sense of humour and quick wit. Currently I am on the Disability Support Pension-I can supply references and am trustworthy re bills and rent payments. The maximum I think I can afford is $180/week inc bills. I can do some housework and yardwork to compensate. I am looking at finding a part time position soon, whether that be paid or unpaid. I love dogs and don't mind cats.
