Clean, considerate and respectful housemate. Primary teacher who loves to travel. I enjoy staying fit and healthy. Up for an occasional drink and good conversation. I'm looking for a relatively modern place in the Eastern suburbs with a private room and private bathroom.
I am a young student at Griffith Nathan, looking to move with my cat Finn into a lovely home with wonderful housemates. I am very tidy and usually keep to myself but also enjoy socialising with friends and housemates.
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Hi, I am Chantel. I am 20 years old and I just got a new job at Westfield Carindale so I'm looking to move somewhere close to there. I am a friendly, easy going person who is pretty quiet but never boring. I have graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts in applied theatre and enjoy watching movies and playing video games. I'm a huge animal person so anyone with pets is fine with me :) I have a pet cat with me at home and would love to be able to bring him with me instead of leaving him with my parents, he is super friendly with people and other animals and has a very funny personality. I'm very clean and always do my share. I am very respectful towards other people and their possessions and get along with people who are the same.
I am a self sufficient and easy going. I am moving to Brisbane for study and am in need of accommodation. I'm a bubbly person with a lot personality. From Townsville so its a big move and trying to find the best location that takes distance from l work ad school into consideration.
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
Prefer to share with a female but open if I find the right place. Im happy to help out where I can,Iam respectful, love a good laugh and am very easy to get on with.I'm looking for a furnished room, own bathroom a bonus
I'm a relatively quiet, clean 23 year old looking for a place in Brisbane. I can't cook but can make a pretty mean cocktail or two. Spend most of my free time out with friends or binge watching TV. Happy to keep to myself or make some new friends :) Preferably easy access to city and Garden City Shopping Centre
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
I am good company, just looking to move out of home. If you're interested in travel, we will be best friends for sure. I like to eat healthy so there will always be free fruit in the fridge and i definitely like keeping things like the kitchen nice and tidy (dishwasher preferred ahah)
Experienced in house sharing, am clean, quiet and respectful. Secure financially so bills and paying rent on time is no problem at all. I view where I live really as a place to rest and relax rather than a entertainment venue. I am a keen cyclist, I can be found mountain biking most weekends and often even in the evenings. I am vegetarian but I am quite compatible with your eating habits, I will not attempt to inform/force my dietary choices upon you. Leaving my present living arrangements on extremely positive terms. I had a job on the Gold Coast so I relocated there at the beginning of the year but now I am done with that I am re-relocating to Brisbane. Quiet drink on a weekend afternoon or evening? In summer a pilsner or a chilled white. In winter a neat scotch, or shiraz. But not to excess, there's usually riding to be had at the crack of dawn. -Tom.
I just graduated from Griffith Uni (postgrad student) and work full time (as Analyst programmer) near Westfield Garden city. I'm non-smoking easy going mate who prefers quiet home atmosphere and tidy housemates. Not a party animal and rarely go out. I always clean after myself and pay rent on time. Not a geek although and like a good chat. I'm looking for a furnished spacious room with a double bed and wardrobe(s) in a small house or unite with max 2 housemates. Please call me or message if you have suitable variant. Cheers, Denis
Really easy going, clean and tidy. I am really busy between work, sport, studies, gym, etc. I like doing my own thing but I also love socialising. I have my own bedroom furniture so ideally am after an unfurnished room.
I’m moving up from Northern NSW to study at QUT. I’m easy going and pretty chill. I am fairly sociable in the sense that I like to get out and do different things, not just sit around all day. Having said that I also appreciate spending time alone to just relax and hang out. I’m clean and tidy and respectful of other people’s space and privacy. I also work part time so paying rent and bills on time won’t be a problem. I’m pretty much open to any living situation but ideally I would like to get a house with some like-minded people. Having room for activities is a major key but not essential.
I'm 20 years old, looking for 2 other females to start a share house with. I work full time and go to gym, i am very tidy and like to keep the house very organised. I'm not a big drinker but I don't mind a cocktail here and there. I do like going out but I also enjoy having my own space and usually will keep to myself.
I work full-time and barely home. I'm looking for a clean and tidy place with and friendly housemates. I'd prefer a nice place with my own ensuite, a/c and secure car space
I am a 22 year old female. I work full time and study part time (online). I am clean, keep to myself (I do enjoy a drink and chat though) and I spend a fair chunk of my time at the gym.
I work as a part time registered nurse and am extremely clean. I respect people and I m very quiet, not a party animal for sure :) . I prefer to live with females only nothing against males just culture issues sorry 😐
25-year-old engineer currently working full time. Laid back and clean, looking for somewhere to live close to the city. Hobbies: Hiking, guitar, live music, running - long distance
Hi! I'm looking to team up with a couple of people and find a new place. My lease is expiring towards the end of Jan 2017 so I would like to secure a place around mid Jan. I work full time on a 7 day roster. When I'm home, I like to keep to myself but do enjoy a good conversation. I'm neat and tidy, not a party animal and easy to get along with :)
I'm Sean. Moving from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane. Will be working part time at the IGA Carina in the produce section. Maybe a bit of night time Uber work for some extra $. Looking to move somewhere not too far from work. Either to fill a room short term (month or less) or if its the right fit, 3-6 months. I'm pretty easy going, like going out and doing things and activities. Sports, exploring nature, exercise, yoga, good nutrition. Previous business marketing student, currently deferred. Not too big on drinking or the club scene at the moment. Social at times but also enjoy having my own space to unwind (read a book etc)
I'm quite shy but once I get to know someone, I generally become fun and bubbly person to be around. I'm moving because of study and a new environment, I want to start fresh. I've only ever worked in Cafés and McDonalds. I'll be looking for retail jobs or waitressing/bar-work while I live in Brisbane. I'll be doing a bridging course at Mount Gravatt TAFE (Screen and Media) and will hopefully be attending QUT (Bachelor of Creative Industries) in 2018. Ideally looking for a place to stay longer than 6 months. During the days I'll either be studying, working or most likely keeping to myself. I'd love to live with someone I can get along with socially but I'm still rather independent and respect everyones privacy. But overall I'm really excited for the move and hope to find some like minded gal(s) to live with while I'm there. Looking to move in at any point in January as I'll be starting my study on the 30th of Jan. My budget is a maximum of $200 per week. I'm looking for a room or flat that is unfurnished as I have all of my own furniture for my own room and plan on bringing it all with me (Bed, drawers, bookcase, side tables, desk, etc.) Furnished share homes/apartments are cool, so long as the room I'll be shacking up in has space for all my stuff 😅
I am currently studying full time in the natural health industry and work part time when I can in administration. I am looking for jobs in the natural health field at the moment. I am a tidy person and clean up after myself. I am also quite easy going, and won't pry or get into other peoples business unless they want me there. As I am studying quite a bit at the moment I am busy during the day and into the early evening. This means I usually don't go out much during the week. I like to go for drives and hang out with friends in my spare time, and I also enjoy quiet nights in. At the moment I am just looking into whats out there, but I hope to be able to move in early 2017
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, Iv always lived in tarragindi but don't mind living elsewhere. I like socialising but can also respect boundarys and can analyse situations quite well, i have no dept meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with pretty well anyone. I hope too find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself, keen too move out sooner then said date if need be, feel free too msg me, I'm pretty easy going cheers.
Hi, I've recently moved to Brisbane for work. I'm an easy going person and want to live in a sociable and intelligent environment. I work casual hours. Im ok with other housemates having people around or making as much noise as they like as long as your a decent person. No cats! but any other animals are more than welcome :)
Quiet, easy going early 30s guy (although I don't look or feel it). Have lived by myself for the last three years, don't want to renew my lease, so I am seeking a change! Work two jobs in hospitality industry so I'm often quite busy. On my days off I like to chill, Netflix, glass of wine (I am not an alcoholic but I enjoy a glass of wine or two). I am not a party person. I'm a professional and will be studying part time early next year. I am a barista, and also work in events.
I work full time generally 6 days a week, I'm pretty active and like to go to the gym after work. I'm not a big drinker nor do I go out that much, I prefer to save for holidays/travel but i do go out on occasions if anything comes up. happy meeting new people and joining in with anything going on but i also have my own friends that i get out and about with. I'm a clean person with most things and pretty organised
I am a single dad, I'm very laid back and easy going. I enjoy cooking and keeping fit. I have two daughters (aged 2 and 5) who may come over from time to time! I am currently working 9-5 at the Brisbane Airport and exploring post-graduate study options.
Hello! I am Lucy, 20 yrs old, and am looking for a place to stay! I have currently got a full time job working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary nurse. I am looking for a place to stay on the south side of the Brisbane River. I am looking for a place to stay in which I can house a dog as well. I am an organised person, who is always up for a chat but also love some peace and quiet from time to time. I have just graduated from my degree and am now looking into setting myself up whilst I build up some money to get a place of my own.
I am a 21 year old female currently living in Capalaba, and am looking to move as my lease is ending in December/January. Looking for somewhere in the surrounding Capalaba suburbs. Am currently studying Biomedical Science at UQ, love cats, and a good chat. Am super friendly, enjoy a few bevvies every now and then, and like going to the gym and swims to keep fit :3
I am a very friendly and outgoing person. On a weekend i most likely will be out and about having diner or a cocktail. But at the same time I can be very geeky attending nerdy festivals dressed up in silly costumes. Im not one to stand on someones toes, i like to give people space so i expect the same in return.
Young full time student who's easy going but definitely not boring and loves a good chat over a couple drinks. Currently working in childcare and I absolutely love it!! Not the quiet shut in housemate but holds a lot of respect for others privacy if they like to keep to themselves.
I currently work at Ray White Capalaba and I'm looking around for a room to rent. I have a vibrant personality, I'm very easy to get along with. I like to keep a clean & tidy home and love to cook throughout the week. I'm coming into the busiest year and need to find a place as soon as i can. If you're interested feel free to message me. Hope to hear from you soon :)
***Update*** I have now included that my lease at the current place doesn't end until February '17. Also, I am only looking for a room with own bathroom. Hi my name is Johnny. I have no pets and pay rent and bills on time. I work in a day surgery in an eye clinic as an instrument technician. I am seeking a furnished house or apartment to share with a responsible and mature individual with their own active lifestyle. No furniture to bring except some bedroom units. I enjoy my own space but can easily be sociable on regular occasions. I wouldn't mind teaming up too and prefer having an undercover car space, or off-street parking. Thought I might add a few odd bits here about myself as a means of informing suitability - My favourite rock and roll band is a toss-up between Wilco, Radiohead, and Blur. My favourite male singer/songwriter is Tom Waits and my favourite female singer/songwriter is Neko Case. My favourite food is pasta with anything! EXCEPT veal or kangaroo meat. I am conscious of my eating habits and try to minimise consumption of meat with the goal of cutting it out of my diet altogether. The ideal way to contact me is through the Flatmates website or mobile phone. Regards, johnny
Hi all i am Tomislav and i am looking for a share house near the city or north side. I am a friendly guy that works most days and at night go to the gym. I'm a clean, respectable and reliable person. I rarely go out or have people over. I respect privacy and space but am also keen to get to know my flatmate/s and become friends instead of living like strangers. I am looking for 2-3 people max (inc me) to be in the house/unit. I do have a 3.5yr old daughter that comes over Sundays until 3 or 4pm so i would prefer to live with Females only. Move in date is flexible.
We are both friendly, clean, respectful and mostly keep to ourselves but don't mind socialising too! Brad works full time and Nellie is currently studying at QUT and working part time. We are looking for another couple or 2 to rent a house with, preferably with a pool. We don't have any pets but don't have a problem sharing with people who do. We would like to live with like-minded people who are easy going and clean.
Currently living in the Redlands and looking for a change in scenery. I'm Hoping to find a good roommate or group of people who are fun to be around, fairly tidy and don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I work full time throughout the week and leave early in the morning. Im clean and tidy and although I like to hang out and chat with the people in my household, I know when to give each their own space. If you don't mind the house being filled with good tunes and inside jokes then send us a message.

I am very easy-going and easy to get along with. I'm a slightly introverted person but am always up for a chat. More than anything, I love to read, so if you don't mind books strewn all over the house and can handle my tiny (read: very big) fangirl moments, then we'll get along just fine. I am studying at QUT so during semesters I may be slightly less sociable than usual but that's just because I've left all my assignments to the last minute :) Mostly, I'm just looking for a safe, fun sharehouse atmosphere with awesome people who won't get too upset if I'd rather spend the day in my room rather than socialising.
Hello, my name is Bill and I am a 54 year old bisexual guy. I am a fairly quiet living person who tends to keep to himself a bit. However, I do think I have a pretty good sense of humour and quick wit. Currently I am on the Disability Support Pension-I can supply references and am trustworthy re bills and rent payments. The maximum I think I can afford is $180/week inc bills. I can do some housework and yardwork to compensate. I am looking at finding a part time position soon, whether that be paid or unpaid. I love dogs and don't mind cats.
We are both very friendly, welcoming and relaxed people and our cleanliness and respectfulness would make us a great couple to live with! Due to our work and social activities we are often out and about. Jack is currently working full time as an electrical apprentice and I am working full time as a receptionist. Jack and I love going to the beach on the weekends and spending time with friends :) We also love animals and the outdoors! We are looking for places that are modern, have a large master bedroom with ensuite and a large wardrobe. Also a place that has a laundry :)
Hey! Anyone going away for the summer and wanting to rent out their room temporarily? I'm only looking for 1-2 months, will respect all your things and can pay for the whole duration up front. Thanks :)
I am very easy going, like to socialise and to have my time on my own like most people. I keep myself very busy as I am a "go getter". I like to bake, do fitness and hang out with friends. I am originally from England and have lived her for almost two years with my partner. He is heading back to England for career purposes and I shall be staying here for the same reason. Thank you Becky Baker
Hi guys, Im looking for a place with one or two others, that I can have a laugh with and the occasional beverage or two. I would prefer people that are easy going and I could hopefully become friends with, rather than people that keep entirely to themselves or sit in their bedroom all day.
I am looking for a place for a short term to stay at only twice a week. I live on the coast but work in brisbane 3 days a week, so I prefer to stay down here for 2 nights to save the travel. So really I only need a bedroom for 2 nights a week. Any offers I'll consider. Thanks.
