I am friendly, neat and easy going, and would like to be walking distance to the train station
Hello my future flatmate! I'm 27 yrs old professional working in accounting and also doing my masters at the moment. I like socialising, catching up with friends for a nice dinner, for a glass of wine. Also, love staying active and all outdoor activities. I'm very easy going but also very tidy, down-to-earth and looking for a like-minded people to live with. I want to get a dog (red toy poodle - very friendly, clever, don't shed) so looking for a pet friendly apartment. Cheers, Indre
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, <30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - ZERO interest in boarding houses. Prefer the person I’m renting from also live in the same place. - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - private room only (this shouldn’t have to be said but sadly it seems I need to explicitly say it) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse full of early 20s. I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof... but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the house is big. But I am NOT looking for a boarding house. I prefer to actually be renting from the people I'm living with, or be put on the lease with them. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
Hey im Josh Im a disability support worker and a qualified social worker. I enjoy art in most areas but specifically watercolour as i paint frequently. Also i enjoy gaming and all things nature. Looking to live with easy going people who are like minded and have similar interests. :) Im reliable with rent and bills and also like to keep common areas clean. I would say im not t0o strict on cleaning but also not messy or dirty. I have a higher standard for common areas but may be a little more relaxed in my own space. I enjoy socialising but you will also probably find me talking to others when i play playstation or humming to some music when i paint EDIT Its easier for me to arrange my own food but dont mind sharing a meal or two with the house every now and again. Im not vegetarian but i dont eat a lot of meat and respect others who may be vegan etc.
I've had my own place so I know how I'd treat other as I wanted my other flatmates to treat me. I work full time in finance, when I'm not at work, I'm training or trading, I trade Forex and I'm involved in the Crypto space. Don't really party anymore, that life is past, but I do love me a good bottle of red. I'm bit of a clean freak, I like the home to be tidy at all times, leaving dishes in the sink is a big no no for me lol.
I'm Ruth, a young professional who has recently moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work. I'm a fun and motivated young person, working in the Community Services Sector, coordinating some pretty awesome projects! Work keeps me pretty busy during the week and outside of work I enjoy relaxing. I love camping, hiking, exploring Sydney and catching up with friends!! I currently am looking for a share flat/house. I'm down for hanging out for a chat (or the glass of wine), but also enjoy my own space to relax, where you'll find me watching Netflix or reading a great book. Cats/dogs trigger allergies, which means I am looking for a pet free place to live. If you think we would be a great match, send me a message so we can organise an inspection :)
I'm 23, currently working as a receptionist at an ophthalmology practice in St Leonards. I finished studying industrial design but want to continue in either graphic or interior design (I am very torn). I always love to have a great ole time on the weekends and have a beer, party it up a bit but I will also respect your quiet time. I can cook a mean scrambled eggs on toast with baked beans and also know a couple Zippo tricks. I also come with a Bop It.
I consider myself a cleanly and pleasant person, more quiet than not. I'm an 18 year old part time full time employee and I enjoy art and music, as well as a variety of other creative media's. I don't mind loud music of the afternoons every now and then and enjoy quiet ones, I really like tea and books. I'm not too sure what to put here, but asides from that I do my best to make sure I'm out of the way of other people in the house and keep up with my part of the work. I'm moving from Canberra to Sydney for study and will be looking to enroll once I have established a place to stay. I have a guaranteed part-time/full-time job on arrival.
Hello. My name is Munny and I'm 24 years old. Moving from Toronto to Sydney for a new job opportunity and I'm looking for a place to stay. Like to stay healthy and active and want to explore the city.
Hi All. I am Kin from Hong Kong. I will stay in Sydney for my master degree in USYD. I am interested in scuba diving and photography. Nice to meet you!
I am a 34yo Belgian guy, working in the CBD in the IT sector and recently got my PR visa. I am clean, tidy and quiet, and am looking for a fully-furnished (internet, tv, laundry, ...) respectful place where I can rest, cook, watch tv, listen to music, socialise with people as well as having my private space. I occasionally like to play guitar or hang out with friends. I am a light sleeper so I am looking for a room/place which is quiet during the night.
We are moving to Sydney as we have both been offered new jobs. I will be working as a food product development manager and Adam will be working as a professional photographer. Adam is very funny and I'm not funny at all but I make up for that by laughing a lot. I used to be a chef so nothing makes me happier than a spotless kitchen and Adam likes to garden and fix things (he's really amazingly handy!). We’d prefer to live in a house with a little garden so Adam can put his green fingers to work. We both love dogs and are very easily won over by pet owners. We are both non-smokers and very responsible drinkers.
Born and raised in Sydney, young photographer and in general a lover and participant of the creative arts such as music, fashion, visual arts and more. I have a pet dog, she's about 10 years old and can be quite anxious but overall she is kind. I like to have fun and party the night through though I am still respectful of other peoples needs and schedules. I am comfortable with living with women and LGBT+ people, and I especially hope I get to live with other cool creatives. I'm also a vegan, but I'm still okay with living with people who aren't. All that I mostly require is a room big enough for a desk, an iMac and my photographic equipment, as well as other essentials. I'm looking for a home anywhere between Enmore and Paddington. Other than that, my only other hobby is DJing and playing music. Hit me up if I'm your guy!
I have a way of introducing uncommon knowledge to people, and love a good balance of everything in life I tend to click pretty well with any age group Originally from England and a permanent resident of Oz, with heaps of relatives here I'm currently living out west in kings Langley and working out west too so weekend inspections are much better for me Seeking private room only, no shared rooms
Hey! My names Nicola and I’m a 23 year old originally from Melbourne! I’ve just moved to Sydney to begin a job as cabin crew. I’m an easy going and neat person who loves a good chat over a drink or two. On my weekends I like adventuring and getting out to see what Sydney has to offer, would love to live with some likeminded people!
Hi! I am a respectful, clean and tidy individual looking for like-minded housemates to live with. I study full-time at UNSW and work as a freelance photographer and tutor. Would love easy going and considerate housemates who don't mind chatting but can also respect personal time and space. I love animals so pets are more than welcome!
I'm clean and respectful as well as aware of the need for personal space. Would love to find some new friends and hang out over meal times and Netflix binges. I'm a home body most of the time but when my friends and I do go out its usually to lunch and either a movie or an escape room (which we are a little obsessed with).
My name is Nils, I'm a freelance graphic designer, finished study and actively looking for full time work. I have a perfect track record of paying bills on time. I'm 26, friendly, respectful and clean. I am open to share a beer/wine/taco night or a chat but am not too rowdy and respectful of alone time if preferred. I try to make a living space as homely as possible with plants and wall decorations. I enjoy the odd hike or trip to the beach with mates. I am looking to move in around the 21st of December but am open to moving in earlier. I do have my own furniture such as a bed, desk and chest of drawers, but open to using furniture already there. Cheers, Nils
I'm looking for a place for me and my boyfriend Jake, both 28 years old; and our little one year old beagle Poppie! I'm French, he is English. Jake has been sponsored as an electrician and I'm working in the hospitality industry. Jake is English so of course he likes football and beer, also he likes to say he goes to the gym (once a week ahah). I'm obviously in love with wine, bread and cheese, part of being french of course. I love to cook so the lucky people who choose to give us a fantastic home may have a chance to taste my famous vegetarian french cuisine ahah We are both very clean, really social and easy going. We like to chill after work, we are looking for a friendly and warm home, so we would be happy to share dinners or drinks sometimes.
