We like to keep things pretty clean in shared living spaces.

Hello, Without sounding like a sad story, I'm looking for a new welcoming home for the next step in my life, sadly my partner and I have decided to separate after 4 years. I come with 2 female cats, both are house trained and desexed. One cat, Ella is very sociable, especially with food because she is little fatty and the other, Missy tends to keep to herself. I tend to be quiet in the week and tend to go to the gym (I try)! Sometimes I work nights, usually once or twice a week. On the weekend, I like to catch up with friends and have the social drink at the pub. I like to cook and enjoy a wine. I'm an easy going flatmate, friendly and clean.
Hello! My name is Kam recently just moved to Sydney from Melbourne looking for a new change. Current;y stay with family but do need to move out at some point..... I am clean, easy going and open minded.
Hi, Just finished my fieldwork here in Sydney for my master's thesis in social anthropology and am about to do a little trip to celebrate! As the girl I rent my current room from need to have her room back I need to find a new place to stay when I come back by the end of February. Will be in Sydney until 26/1 so could always come by and introduce myself before then. A little bit about me: I am 32 years old and from Sweden. I have a lot of interest but some of them are health, art (both creating and enjoying other's), music, photography and travelling. Love spending time with friends but also enjoy my space. I am trustworthy, respectful, independent, open minded and easy going. Also vegan but have no problem living with someone who is not.
I'm looking for a place near the beach as I consider it my happy place. I am very clean, chill, I don't meddle, I'm very friendly and I can hangout with anyone easily. I'm looking to move as soon as possible. Thank you!
I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I don't drink although I am social. I keep myself busy working two jobs and studying full time.
I'm a respectable, mature and immaculate twenty eight year old lady who works two jobs. I'm an artist. I like to make the most out of my days. I'm either at my studio working on projects, out exploring/ soaking up the sun rays or relaxing at in the evenings. I have a thirst for knowledge and creative expansion. I'm into health and fitness. I'm somewhat of an explorer.
I'm a relaxed and amenable hombre. Flexible is my middle name. I do work a lot as well as some volunteering. I spent many years working on Film/Television and now work in healthcare. My downtime is driven by cafes, some gardening, chatting and reading and many other things. I quite like cleaning because I like a clean space. A social fellow with out being reckless, I really enjoy the company of others. Inversely, I do enjoy leaning back in solitude with my Kindle. Hooking into Tai Chi again after spending a while looking after my ailing mum. I'm looking forward to a new residence with new people. I would prefer an unfurnished bedroom.
Hello There! We will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane mid-late January and will be looking for a furnished room in a share house or granny flat. We would prefer our own bathroom but are happy to share in the right place. A bit about us ... Rowan is an environmental consultant and I am a (newly graduated) urban planner, we are moving because I have been lucky enough to get a graduate job. We have both lived in share houses for 6+ years so are completely used to pitching in with cleaning. We are friendly, social people who are happy to chill out but also like time to ourselves. We also have two pets, an indoor 4yr old cat, who is very chilled and affectionate. And a 5yr old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, he is used to a fairly small yard and after his morning walk generally sleeps/eats all day. I am willing to pay a pet bond if required - but if you can not allow pets we have arranged for our fur babies to stay with family. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in us as roomies :-).
I'm social, live a few drinks, am passionate about music and films. I'm love my job as a cinematographer as I get to tell stories by painting images using lighting, composition and camera movement. I'm a clean, hardworking nice guy who wears my heart on my sleeve. I also need off street parking at a minimum as I own a lot of film equipment.
Hey there, I'm a 19 year old guy from Munich, Germany. I finished school last year and like nearly everybody hear in Germany, I want to travel around in New Zealand and Australia. Luckily, I managed an internship at a shipping line in Sydney (Pyrmont) from 3rd April until the 30th of June, so I'm able to improve my english skills and gain some work experience. For this period of time i search for a furnished room with some nice mates to talk and to hang out with. :) I'm an easy going person and easy to get along with. In my freetime I'm mostly hanging out with friends, watching TV-series and movies or playing computer games. Feel free to write me a message or an e-mail, if you're still looking for a roommate and think that we could get along with each other quite well. Thanks for reading hopefully contacting me :) (I'll be in Sydney around the 26th of march)
Hi I'm Toby, I'm 25 and I recently finished studying Design at UNSW. I work in Ticketing at the Sydney Opera House, usually 25-35 hours a week. I'm interested in cooking (especially for other people), sports, socialising and reading. I play soccer on Sundays and usually go to a friends place on Wednesdays for a weekly dinner me and my friends like to have. I am equally good at keeping to myself as I am hanging out and socialising, so would be happy with a social household or a more laid-back one. Aside from that I like to see the odd live music show, see a movie, go for a hike or just do some sort of activity. I would lean towards a more sociable household where people are willing hang out or have a chat. I have a strong friend group of my own so wouldn't be relying on the house for all of my social life, but I would like to feel like I can be friends with my housemates. Though I would also be fine with a house where people keep to themselves more. I love to cook for other people so would gladly offer up my services!
I'm a uni student in her last year of study. I am very tidy, considerate and respectful. I have a boyfriend who I like to have over a couple of nights a week. I am independent but would like to feel at home in the house and with my roommate.
Hi there ! My name is Clemence, I’m a 25 year-old French girl looking for a nice place in Sydney with friendly flatmates ! I'm easy-going, open-minded and tidy. On my spare time, I enjoy exploring the city I live in, meeting new people and discovering cool restaurants & bars. I love to have people around and share dinners or drinks but also enjoy some time alone.
Hello potential housemates! I'm a high school teacher and I'm about to start work at Sydney Secondary College in Leichardt. Alas I am looking to move away from my beloved Manly. (Most of my life already happens in the inner-west anyway). I teach French and Italian. I'm Aussie born but grew up in Rome and have lived in Sydney since 2010 (former usyd student). I'm a passionate environmentalist (I'm very often out volunteering as an activisting) I'm really clean, tidy, reliable and I'd say I'm nice to be around. I love cooking and gardening (not just saying that) so that could be handy. Really keen to make a nice place feel like home.
- Work for the Airport full-time - Starting my studies early February - Organised, responsible and more mature than most 19 year-olds - Mostly keep to myself with my busy schedule - Laid back - Enjoy shooting hoops in my spare time
Hi i am Karan .. currently on vacation but will be working full time . Just finished my masters from UTS . I am social , amiable and kind . Also love making new connections and friends. I'm moving to Sydney for to start a Post-Grad at UNSW. I'm flexible with moving dates, but the 25th would probably be the latest I should arrive. I'm looking for a place with some chill people who want to chat and have a few wines, maybe cook a little sumthin' sumthin' from time to time. I'm easy going af and I'm excited to be coming up to Sydney! I'm into drawing, my post grad is at the school of art and design so I like a lot of creative stuff, arty-type... I'm into tattooing, I make a little bit of sculpture but I wont clutter the house with weird stuff, I swear, I'll have a studio space at Uni. I like true crime docos, they're my guilty pleasure. Cheers
Currently lived in Sydney for three years and studying full time at the University of Sydney (B. International and Global Studies). My sister and I are looking to team up with some other students or working professionals to find a house for as long a period as possible in order to create stability while we study. Been living in Marrickville/Newtown area for the past two years, if you'd love to team up or have some rooms available we'd love to hear from you! -Kit
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional weekend on call and VERY occasional evening or night shift. I'm British but have permanent residency in Australia and looking to get my citizenship when I can (2019!). I tend to listen to music (everything bar RnB/hip hop & drum 'n' bass) more than watch TV & I have decks at home for pretending to be a DJ, but wouldn't use them while you're home. When I do watch TV, it's the news, politics and docos on the ABC or SBS or on-semand stuff from Stan. Happy to also sit and watch a film together with a bottle of wine in the evening. I like to cook and would be happy to share meals, although I'm veggie so equally happy to do my own thing. I also love to entertain, either dinner or a bigger group for drinks. If you wanted to have a houseparty I could be convinced, but only for special occasions! I like to have the odd big night out, although this tends to just be on the long weekends and generally on the scene, although I am trying to find what else gay Sydney has to offer (recommendations welcome!) I'm looking to get a house rather than an apartment and I will be getting a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
Dance Music Producer & DJ from Byron Bay looking for a room in Sydney where I can make some noise. I have lots of energy and I love making people smile. I will be studying part time and working full time. Don't be thrown off by the noisey part, I use headphones sometimes :)
Hi I'm Lucy and I'm looking for a bright happy room of my own in a home with some friendly housemates. I'm 32, a full-time student and freelance graphic designer. I like to read, watch movies and shows, cook and do yoga. Weekends I'm usually working or doing homework, catching up with friends or just enjoying home time. I love to travel and do so as much as possible, enjoy a laugh and a beer. Please note: I am NOT interested in shared rooms.
Hi I'm Ashleigh, I am a clean, quiet and respectful person. I work part time at a charity fundraising organisation whilst studying early childhood education at Macquarie University. On my days off I love going to the beach to read or just to relax in the sun :-)
Hey guys, Best way to describe me is the good kind of weird, I'm bundle of collected energy that's surprisingly tidy as fuck. I like to party on the occasion however usually I just slump around on my days off. I work 5 - 6 days a week so you'll be lucky to catch me at home lol. Trying to quit drinking and smoking so that's not really an issue. Any questions hit me up (:
Active, outgoing and outdoorsy, clean and tidy, working full time as an engineer in Sydney CBD. I'm looking for a like-minded household with other young professionals. Easygoing and always happy to be social and share a few beers / meals as a flat. Generally spend my weekends out and about doing adventure-like activities, however every so often I will gladly embrace my inner sloth and binge watch some Netflix. Have all my own furnishings so would like to team up and find a nice place, however I have no qualms with just selling it all. I recognise that while share houses can be a great way of meeting people, they can be challenging if the fit isn't right. Would love to meet you for a coffee/beer/drink of choice for a chat to see if we could live harmoniously.
Hi future housemate! I'm Owen. I'm a 27 year old male who recently moved up to Sydney (from Melbourne) for work. Studied engineering, and am working fulltime as a logistics analyst for an international supply chain company. I work fairly long hours, but always enjoy a chat when I get home. I love watching movies, cooking and listening to music. Have a slowly growing record collection, and would love to go to some more gigs up here. I've got a couple of cameras which I don't use enough, and I've also started to get in to riding my push bike on the weekend. I'm clean, reliable, and always wash my dishes after using them.
I am a clean person. I love socialising, meeting people from different culture and background. I love music, sports, and outdoor activities. Exploring new places is a joyful activity for me. I also love cooking, especially Indonesian traditional dishes.
I'm 25, from Melbourne and will be working full time at a refugee legal service while I'm in Sydney on secondment. I'm clean, tidy and pretty social - if I'm not working late during the week I usually go for dinner or have a few beers with my housemates. I live with 4 other people in Melbourne - we all do our own thing but enjoy a home cooked meal and cheap red together when we can, would be cool to find something similar in Sydney.
I'm a full time worker in the architecture field. When I'm not working I enjoy my sport and my gaming, as well as playing musical instruments. If I can get away and travel, I'll usually take the opportunity. Sociable enough around people but also happy to keep to myself. I was born and raised here in Sydney to Filipino parents, so there is a mix of cultures in the way I was brought up. In general I'm pretty flexible and respectful to everyone's differences.
USYD student researching at Westmead Children's Hospital. Work part-time as a chef (on weekends in the Blue Mountains). Very friendly, like to chat but study a lot and prefer a more quiet/non-party household.
Hi, Just arrived back in Sydney, after traveling a bit. I fell in love with this city when I was on my working holiday a year ago. Fortunate I found a sponsor and now I am back for good. My work will be in the CBD so I am looking for a flat with good public transport connection. I am social, but also appreciate my alone time and would dare to say I am an uncomplicated housmate. I like all kind of sports or things to do, like Tennis, Yoga, or whatever comes up. It would be great if you had any sort of pet, I love dogs, cats, or whatever. Sadly I don't have any on my own and no worries, will not have any. Maybe a plant. Just let me know if you would like to know more. Cheers Dorina
Hey I'm Sandra. I work full time in finance and as such would like to move closer to the city, ideally somewhere near Coogee or rosebay while also close to public transport. I'm an easy going, quiet and tidy person who enjoys the outdoors and sports. Looking to share a place with a person or people similar in age and interests and hopefully become friends too so please feel free to get in touch!
Just a uni student who's looking for a chilled place to live for a couple of months. I am friendly and sociable but I also like having my own space and keeping to myself. I am clean and respectful.
I'm an easy going guy who works as a barista. You can expect loads of free coffee and muffins from me at the end of each day. I'm very clean and tidy. I'm very respectful of others and will always try and help mates out. I'm in to my natural wines and fermenting vegetables! Always keen for a party and also love my down time
Hey guys, My name is Majed, I'm from Palestinian origins and been living in Dubai for the past 3 years, and now I've decided to move to Sydney after I have been granted the permanent residency, so let the fun begin.. :p I'm a very friendly, open minded, and accepting guy. I respect privacy of others just as much as I expect them to respect mine. Very neat and tidy without crossing the normal limits.. lol I'm new to town so will appreciate all the advice I can get at the beginning and hope I can meet a nice roommate to click with.. cheers.. Majed
I have worked at a timber mill for the past year and am going to UTS this year to study medicine I am easy to get along with, will keep relativity clean, quite and too myself and am really excited too meet new and fun people to share a house with
Hey, I'm a 23 year old economics graduate moving over from Adelaide for work. I'm looking for a share house with other young people in the inner west of Sydney. I'm a fairly social person, so looking to move in with people who like to hang out and are ok with having people over etc. Otherwise, I'm pretty easy to live with.
The names Mal. I'm pretty chilled out and work a 9-5 in the city. I do biodiversity surveys for a living. For fun i like to play rugby/sports and have a few beers on the weekend. I am clean and have always lived in sharehouses so know how to be respectful of other people.
Hey! I'm Tom :) I'm a balanced person seeking a balanced share environment. I'm low drama, I've shared many houses before, and I am looking to share with people my own age. I respect boundaries and I am a clean and tidy person. I like having a chat but also need my downtime. I love cooking, especially when I get to share. I also like mountain biking, bushwalking, and I love swimming. I will be working during the week and going on adventures on the weekend. P.S. I love animals but unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs. So indoor pets are a deal breaker, outdoor pets are fine.
I'm 27, looking for a new place to move into. I work full time in advertising/media in Surry Hills, so ideally looking to be fairly close to work. I've lived in share houses before, and am a clean and tidy person - particularly within communal spaces. I definitely like the idea of living with people I can have a chat to when we're around but also do enjoy having my own space and am very respectful of the fact that you might too.

Fulltime corporate lady hailing from the Northern Beaches. Wanting to test living closer to my work in the CBD. Looking at a shorter rent-time, but if it all works out happy to consider staying roomies for longer :)
I am a 22 year old newly graduated university student who is currently living at home, working part-time (around 4-6 days a week) in fashion retail. My home lifestyle is simple and quiet, if I am not out. Usually my parents are relatively preoccupied with outside engagements so I try to find as much time as possible to contribute with home chores such as the cleaning and cooking. With a healthy amount of balance in my life that I juggle between social activities / relaxation time / work, I do a routine daily inspection around the home and can always be trusted to immediately stock up on groceries or home utilities / necessities if it is running low for all members of the household to use. Cleanliness and general consideration for all others in the home are qualities I consistently manage to maintain. As a relatively busy, social, and out-going working young person, I like to keep my schedule filled with a variation of leisure activities, or social engagements. My interests are in fashion, films, music, literature and cooking. If I am not reading, writing, or watching films in my room, I have a love for spontaneous outdoor walks, day trips, or mini driving explorations and adventures. Please take into consideration of my several mini talents which could be of use from time-to-time in a shared-home living condition: I make rather good guacamole. I scrub bathroom tiles very meticulously. I am generous with contributions to groceries for the kitchen. I keep immensely quiet during late hours, and very early mornings. Rent will be paid consistently, never late. I have a helpful nature around the home. I am friendly, and polite.
H there :) I'm looking for a new home after exploring in France and Greece for a few months. I work in community and social justice projects, and as a Nanny. I'm looking for a place that feels like a home. Somewhere to relax, have a chat and laugh with housemates over a meal and glass of wine. I'm friendly, respectful and independent. I'm a lover of mother earth, eco-conscious and would love to live in household with a similar outlook on life. Cooking, swimming, exploring in nature, travel, yoga, reading, art, films and music are a few of my loves.
Hi I'm Nat, I just moved to Sydney from London for work (Market Research). I'm looking to settle in somewhere cool, with like-minded housemates that are up for being my pals and could be your very own resident pom (if you'll have me!) I'm fairly fun, energetic, social and outgoing but also enjoy my own company from time to time. Into yoga/keeping fit/healthy eating, especially during the week but I'm not crazy militant about it and would never say no to carbs. I love carbs. I also love to travel, cook (and eat) and the arts. This can span from dog videos on YouTube, to music festivals, to the Ballet. I'm not fussy, I just like to get out and experience stuff. As a housemate I'm clean, considerate and pretty much always up for a drink and a chat/starting a TV series when I'm around. Not such a party animal anymore, especially on school nights but I'm open-minded to the occasional house party if that's your jam. If you want to know any more info, please ask away!
Hi guys, My name is Asad, I am 30 years Logistics manager. Work full time Monday to Friday. Very tidy and neat guy who looks after himself and his surroundings. Very easy to get along with. Looking for like minded nice guys to share a house with and nice chats over the dinner or hangout over the weekend. Or just go out of Sydney on a nice weekend. P.S. I drive and I love driving, wouldn't mind a bit of company on my weekend adventures :) Oh I always pay in advance and on time. If you think that me you looking for. Please do not hesitate to contact me or send me an email. Kind regards Asad :)
I will be starting a full time job in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that has my own bathroom and max 2 other flatmates living in the same house. I would also like if the place is all females. I am a very clean and tidy person as I'm not one that likes mess, so you can rest easy knowing that your place will be well looked after. I would like to live close to a train line and/or any public transport that doesn't require more than 30mins to the CBD.
Hi my Name is Kaya and im a Swiss/Aussie Expat =) I just recently moved to Australia from Switzerland seeking the sun and a bit of big city life. I am a very kind, funny and talkative. I also worked as an Au-Pair so i know how to cook, bake and clean and i am quite responsible but im not scared to have lots of fun. Small perk from my side, my family has a wine business so i have easy acces to good wine.
So it's kinda awfully difficult to just jump into telling somebody why you're fun, or like are you supposed to tell them that you're not fun so that they're more likely to give you a place cause you don't party? #justsharehousethings I'm Toby, I'm a professional musician/tutor and I love a house that smells like Jazz first thing in the morning. My hobbies include listening to hip-hop and wondering how somebody as ethnically ambiguous as myself could have turned out so white, looking at memes and trying to understand the whole "why" behind wine. I'm not the sort of guy who really throws party (legitimately have like 5-10 friends max and I work a lot, but most of them are really good looking and if not, they definitely have nice hair) but I really like going to them so am totally fine if you ever have them going on :) I do also have dope speakers for if a party is ever to be thrown Mostly spend my time at home listening to music/practicing but I can do all of that with headphones on so it won't disturb anybody. I'm a big fan of most animals and totally LGBTQI+ supportive so lowkey please don't ask me to live with you if you're hella transphobic/homophobic/sexist etc. because I'd like to live somewhere I feel comfortable taking my friends back to. No tea no shade, it's just really not my vibe. Kind of a prerequisite that the place has parking available; musicians have an awful lot of gear D: Pretty strictly limited at $300 a week so if your place costs more than this, please only message me if you wanna barter music lessons for discounts in rent. Kinda joking but mostly not really. But yaass, hit me up <3 xoxo Gossip Toby
Moving down to Sydney from Cairns for a new job in a NFP law firm. I am an easy going guy who is clean, good to live with :) am looking for a place for either short term (so I have somewhere to stay while I look for something more permanent) or straight into something long term if it is with the right people - I like living with people who are chilled, friendly and without drama. I work hard during the week but am also very social, love to grab a beer, see a band, but also enjoy my downtime - as well as getting out and about - swimming, camping, hiking, other adventures checking out the surrounding areas of Sydney. say hi :)
Most of the time I'm not home. I stay home mostly Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights and Monday, Tuesday mornings. Other time I'm at work or my boyfriend's home. I'm clean and quiet, always pay in time, non-smoker and I can't live with people who smoke inside. I'm looking for good quality Internet and electricity included in a rent. I don't watch TV, cook very rarely and don't use public transport.
Howdily Doodily, I'm a 24 year old nursing student -very well versed in the art of share-housing. I spend most of my time reading, drawing and adventuring. I'm looking for a home where I can shamelessly spend a lot of time indulging in my typically-introvert-hobbies. But I'd also love to be friends with my housemates and share meals and have crafternoons and tea together.
Hey, I am Axel, 26 years and come from Germany. I will be staying in Sydney to do my Master Thesis at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) until end of July. I love doing sports such as Handball, hiking, swimming etc. I am open minded and like to hang out with people, go out to have a coffee or a beer and love talking. I am definitely looking for an accommodation not to just sleep in but also to share time with people. Cheers Axel
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
