Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
Creative type who likes cooking, writing, and composing music. Down to earth, easygoing. Reliable, always pays rent on time. Volunteer at art gallery. Likes 70s and 80s Marvel Comics, specifically X-men.
We are a couple looking for a a great place to live. My boyfriend and I met in Canada while he was over on a working holiday visa. Now I'm over here on my working holiday visa. We are looking to explore around Tasmania taking in all the sites while still having a cozy home to come back to while working. We love to cook. We mostly keep to ourselves but also down to hang out with good friends from time to time.
We are William 2nd Year Engineering student and Gabrielle a 1st year Nursing student. We are both very responsible, both work part time, we have been together for 3 years. We are very respectful of each other and understanding of other people not wanting the drama of a couple fighting and carrying on. We enjoy socialsing at times and enjoy an occasional drink but study is our main priority. We are looking for similar singles or couple(s) We are looking to move anytime before the 12th of February.
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
I'm generally pretty quiet, chilled but enjoy a good chat now and then. I am moving over from Perth, WA to finish my nursing degree in Hobart and to be closer to my family who live out in the sticks.. Love being outdoors and being physically active. Mountain bikes, running, hiking etc. Hence the appeal of Tasmania! Bit of a nerd.
I am Shah, a phd student in UTAS (Menzies) working on oral health research. I am friendly, easy going, clean and tidy, love to travel. I like to make friends and go for social events by public health association. Also love to cook sometimes and enjoy the meal with my house mates and friends.
Hi, I'm a 30 y.o male who loves to cook! I also enjoy the occasional Netflix binge and philosophical conversations! I work full time and volunteer with an emergency service so I don't spend to much time at home! I love animals and would prefer to share with non smokers. I like to go to the gym and dislike mess but am not OTT about it!
I'm looking to move to Hobart around late March. I spend most of my time working, going to the gym and socialising with friends. I enjoy having a drink or two and going out of a weekend. I have a cat named Ruby, she is fully house trained and super cute! In my down town I'll most likely be in my room bingeing netflix 💁 I'm easy going, neat and tidy. Looking for someone a little like myself. If you think that's you, let's be roomies! 🤗

I'm clean, friendly, reliable, come with excellent references and have a delightful and slightly quirky 17 year old kitty cat. I'm vegetarian, do yoga and meditation, appreciate a quiet home environment as much as a social one, and I'm a nurse - so I can tell you all the cool gross stories - or not...
Hey there! I'm a 21 y/o cook looking for a new place to call home. I come with a very loving maltease shitzu named Gus who even happens to love cats, and obviously loves all the attention. If I'm not working I'll most likely be catching up on lost sleep, out with friends enjoying a beer, or getting a bit creative in the kitchen. Looking for a nice quiet and tidy house hold with respectful housemates. Happy to hang out and have a meal and drink together but also appreciate and enjoy my space and alone time. Looking for a place anytime from now till end of February. Happy to look at anything so hit me up if you may have anything for me! :)

I will be relocating to Hobart for my masters course at UTAS. I have also just found part time work at a school while studying my master of science. I enjoy bush walking, bike riding, film photography (i develop my own black and white photographs) reading and cooking. I also enjoy mycology (fungi) and enjoy foraging and the identification of different specimens. Prior to my masters, i lived and worked in Sydney as a Senior Scientific Laboratory Technician in a private school. I'm an independent person, clean and reliable who enjoys alone time who is also up for a chat and potentially cooking and sharing a meal together. I also may or may not have a cat (Female, litter trained, desexed, 10 years old), who may be coming with me.
We are happy going couple with full time jobs. Most weekend we will be free doing activities like walking and camping around hobart. We are clean and tidy all the times as we have rented properties in our entire student life sharing with other people. Looking forward to meet awesome ppl... Cheers
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm 23 years old and I'm moving to Hobart from Geelong to study at UTAS. I'm a friendly, tidy and relaxed person who enjoys watching movies, listening to music and chatting over a few quiet drinks. I love animals (especially dogs) and am always happy to respect your personal space. Looking for a 4 month stay minimum but I'm very flexible and would be happy to stay for a year or more if everything works out :)
Due to my current rental ending I am in search of another. I'm a pretty laid back person, a majority of my spare time is either spent studying or gaming. I am usually out most weekends and am a full time student. I enjoy baking when I can and am not messy at all. I would prefer something within walking distance to North Hobart, if that was the case my rent pw could be $160-170. If not then my rent pw would need to be $150. I enjoy my own space and would prefer people who do as well.
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
I am a health professional making the big move down to Tassie in January 2018. I am tidy and respectful. I like to consider myself a relatively chilled person. I will be working full-time and like to spend my weekends doing a lot of outdoor activities (hiking, jogging, etc). I have previously lived in sharehouses and am respectful of others' privacy. From time to time, enjoy good quality banter and craft beers. Looking at starting a sharehouse or apartment in early Feb 2018, please feel free to message me if you are interested :)

I can cook Japanese and not fussy with the tv remote. Absolutely love dogs, especially big breeds. Love a good chat & wine but also need to study so won’t be in your hair too much. Also keen to make a good group of friends in tassie 😊 Hope to hear from you, Emma

I'm a quiet, friendly, considerate, and very respectful person. I'm tidy and pick up after myself all the time. I work full-time in Hobart CBD. I've lived in Tas over the last six years and lived with different types of people on different periods of time. I am a down to earth, friendly, easy going and sociable person. I appreciate my quiet time and I will respect your privacy. I am tidy, and I have a steady source of income from my PhD funding. I have diverse hobbies which include amateur astronomy (you get to see my telescope!) and going to the gym to be fit and active. We are quite, respectful, and polite people who are seeking a share house with other like minded people. Thanks Isabella & Thomas
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
Hi, my name is Erin. I’m 26 years old and work as a nurse. My lease ends at the beginning of February and as my current housemates are going their separate ways, I am looking for a place to live. I like to socialise and be an active member of the household/house family, while at the same time remaining respectful of others’ privacy and needs. I am tidy, open and honest, love cooking and I enjoy the occasional glass of wine. In my current house we usually catch up for easygoing chats in the kitchen while we cook or simply laze about watching Netflix in our down time. My current sharehouse has been pretty amazing and (although I can’t replace my gorgeous housemates) I’m hoping to find another great place to live. I will be available to move at the start of February. I am able to provide good references and have my own transport. If you like the sound of me please don’t hesitate to get in contact!
We looking for a place to rent as soon as possible. My girlfriend and I are very tidy, friendly and good at technology. Anyway, we are Asian, I am from Thailand and My girlfriend from China so we always speak English to each other. I have been here for 5 years, I am an Australian citizen who love to cook. Anyway, we are very friendly, easy going and we like to meet new friends who we can trust, support and help each other in the future. Moreover, we already got all the furniture for our new room in the future. Thanks for your time to read something like this Best regards, Wasupon
Chill vegan mates looking for a cosy place close to shops and transport. Love to skate, have a beer and a good book. Like to have our own space to relax. One student, one graduate and one legendary customer service rep. All work part time in the service industry.
Hi, I'm Jess! I'm 23 years old and from Melbourne. I'm planning to move to Tassie in February 2018 to pursue further study in psychology. I've only been to Tassie once before, so I am excited to explore the state. Outside of study, I love spending time with friends and family and getting outdoors! I'm hoping to live in a house where there is a chance for everyone to become friends rather than just roommates. I'm clean, respectful of other peoples' space but also enjoy spending time with roommates and having a bit of fun!
I'm a final year Uni student who will be moving to Hobart for 6 month for my final year placement. During my weekdays I'll be out working and will get home in the evening. I'd consider myself friendly and outgoing. I usually get along with people really well. I'm neat and clean person, I always clean up all my stuff when cooking, using the bathroom etc. During my free time I will probably take a nap lol, I enjoy going to the gym, a run and exploring new areas. I'd hope to move in with friendly and kind housemates who wouldn't mind sitting down for a chat, getting to know each other or for dinner or drinks together. If there's any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. :) Thank you Vishi
Hi Friends! My friend Bree and I are looking for a house to move into in January/February (either new lease or join an existing one). We would like to find a third (and possibly fourth) person to help us create a home in central Hobart. We enjoy sharing meals and wine/beer from time to time but we aren’t looking to host huge parties. Our future housemate(s) would ideally value and respect a tidy and clean communal space and want to be part of a sociable house while respecting each other’s need for alone time :). We are keen to find someone with similar lifestyle to ours (probably meaning similar age - 25-35). A little about us: Bree is originally from Melbourne and has just begun a fulltime PhD in marine science. I moved to Hobart from Perth a couple of years ago and work as a physio. We both enjoy camping, hiking, and being outside, and appreciate good food and beverages of the caffeinated and/or alcoholic variety. Feel free to get in touch if we sound like the magical housemates you have been looking for!
Hi I'm an immigrant from Srilanka. Planning to move to TAS sometime in Feb. I've been living in Melbourne for past 3 years. I'm an accountant by profession, easy going , love partying, if you wanna grab a beer on weekends I'm the guy you looking for. Feel free to contact me if there's a room vacant at your place. Thanks, Dulan
Hi! We're Morgan and Erin, looking to move out in the next month or two. We're both in Uni at UTAS, Second and First years respectively, and are reasonably quiet, clean, chill people. We have our eyes on some specific places at the moment, so we're hoping to find a third person as soon as possible so we have a chance at getting them. Feel free to message us about your interest! :) (LGBT+ friendly) ($150 p/w each)
We’re a clean and quiet student couple moving to Hobart to continue our studies. Having lived in a sharehouse the last 3 years, we understand the importance of privacy and respect the space of our flat mates but we also like to meet new people and socialize wherever possible. We both like to cook, go to the gym, and spend time outdoors. We love pets but sadly have none of our own. Study and quiet time are also important to us.
I am American and I just moved to Tasmania after studying in Europe for a year. I met some great friends from here so decided this was the next best place to visit for a while. I am looking for somewhere to live in the Sandy Bay/New Town area. I am pretty easy going and love Photography.
I (Madison) am currently a cleaner at a caravan park, a testament to my cleanliness. My boyfriend (Benjamin) is currently working two jobs at an IGA and a night job doing animal tours. We are both tidy people willing to do our part and earn our keep. we aren't a clingy couple so you WILL NOT have to put up with awkwardness like that. We do not care if you are LGBT+ and we won't judge. Neither of us has pets, however, we don't mind living with them. We can follow your house rules.
