Hi, moved to Hobart in late 2018 and into short term accommodation with friends, now looking to find something more permanent. Working for Tasmanian government full-time, no children, half Kiwi/half English and enjoy normal things (beach, beers, sport, socialising etc).
Hi, I am Sarith from Sri Lanka. I am a mechanical engineer by profession. I moved to Hobart in 13th of March, so I am looking for a nice and decent place to stay and sociably friendly atmosphere :) I am clean without being a neat freak and enjoying going on road trips and watching movies in the cinema :)
Hi I am Moving to Tassie from Brisbane 17/03/2019 to start a job in construction and am looking for somewhere to stay. I am expecting to work long hours most days so i basically just need somewhere to sleep and eat. In saying that I am not anti-social and am always keen to make new friends and explore. I am neat and tidy and have no weird habbits. Please feel free to contact me.
Kaitlin and myself are looking for a room each to rent in a pet friendly household! We are both busy people who enjoy socialising but also enjoy our own quiet time. We are both flat out during the week but love to get outside with Ellie the border collie on the weekend doing walks or runs. We've both been living out of home for a while and are clean, considerate and organised. We love a good curry and movie night too!!
Hi! I'm looking for a share house with other professionals or part time students. I'm clean and tidy, and I like keeping an uncluttered house. I like being social with my house mates, and occasionally cooking a big meal for the house. I enjoy having a friend or two over for dinner now and again, but I'm not a regular party type. Finding a queer-friendly house is essential to me. I work part time as a programmer for a local company, and i'm studying for my Bachelor of Science by distance part time. Outside of that, I have an active social life that gets me out of the house regularly. When I am at home, I enjoy hanging out with my pot plant collection, drinking a cup of tea while reading a book, and playing my saxophone (it isn't too loud, don't worry!). I'm a volunteer firefighter, which often keeps me busy over summer. I love going out to see local music, there are so many excellent local bands to see!
Hi I'm relaxed and tidy, not really into partying so I don't make much noise etc. I'm in my 3rd year of a bachelor of science so most of the time I'm studying. When I have time I like to go hiking, and I am usually away every second weekend or so. I can get along with pretty much anyone so if you've got a room I'd love to meet you :) I'm looking for somewhere to live for 6 to 12 months starting at the end of June.
Im a 24 year old female working full-time in the city. I am very much an introvert, I enjoy quiet nights reading, cooking or going out for dinner. However I do enjoy movie nights with others and getting to know people. Im very clean and take pride in the area I live in. I would love to live with someone friendly, outgoing and someone that enjoys getting to know each other. I'm hoping to find accommodation that has off-street parking. I can also bring my own furniture if needed, including a lot of beautiful house plants.
27 Year Old Full time worker - Most nights I am away playing sports or catching up with friends. When I am at home I generally read, watch movies, drink wine just to unwind from a days work. Im clean, tidy (except some busy weeks my room can become a mess) but shared areas I make an effort to clean up after myself / as I go.
Looking for a 9 to 14 month stay. I'm a self employed Artist with my own Business, and am searching for a part time job. I'm friendly and easy going, kinda shy/introverted but happy to chat :) When I'm not painting and making stuff for my online shop, I love biking and going on long walks, and I'm learning to roller skate. I'm more than happy to help with any housework/chores etc, and like to keep my space and belongings clean and neat. I love some good beer and cider every now and then, but not enough to get tipsy, and I don't smoke. :D
Hi! My name is Chunming form Taiwan. I am an International student and study in TasTafe. I have a medium size dog. His name is Laifu and he is a Shiba-Inu. Laifu is a lovely and friendly dog. He will bark when strangers too close to our house otherwise he will be very silence the whole day. We are looking for a house if you have any space for us that will be great and we are thankful for your help! My landlady Glendy would like to be our referee. If you need her number to know us, I would like to offer her number. Thanks
After two years around Australia, I landed in the beautiful Hobart where I will study for two years leadership and management. I previously studied chemistry in Italy and did research in lab. Now I'm here to study management. I have many interests, I like hiking, wine tasting, dance, fishing.
My girlfriend of 3 years and I are looking for shared accommodation and to create a humble abode. We relish in meeting new like-minded people. We are not party animals, but we do enjoy hanging out with friends for social drinks and game nights. We are both avid cooks, who love getting involved in the kitchen with a willingness to share and learn new recipes. We also know how important it is to keep a clean and tidy household in order to prevent conflict and promote wellbeing, which is something we have practiced in all of the houses we have lived in thus far. I have just finished a bachelor's degree in environmental science on the north coast of NSW, and will be starting a master's in planning at UTAS. I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and hiking, kayaking and fishing. While I also love taking it easy by watching films, reading books and chatting about philosophical ideas and sharing the human experience. I think you will find that I easily mould into my surroundings and try to avoid conflict through open and clear communication. Cello is currently studying a Bachelor of art and design degree, and will be transferring over to UTAS to finish it off. Cello is a open and creative minded person who is always willing to having a conversation and participate in housemate activities. She takes great pride in cooking for others and sharing her recipes passed down by her Spanish ancestors. We are willing to both occupy a room together, but are also open to having a room each if that is more appropriate. Our current plan is to be in Hobart by around late March.
I am a Vietnamese engineering technologist. I was granted visa 489 Skilled Regional, sponsored by Tasmania on Jan 2019 and currently, I am looking for an accommodation at Hobart. Below are some highlights for your quick reference: - I am 31 years old. - Purpose of renting: to settle life and find job at Tasmania. - I am friendly, tidy, clear police check, nonsmoking and not the type of person who likes party at home, but don’t mind to have fun with flat-mates. - I am physically and mentally healthy. - Specially interested in all kind of sports. - I am willing to rent long time. My budget is 200 AUD/week. Guarantee to pay on time during stay. - I will move to Hobart on 23rd April 2019, but if the accommodation is available from beginning of April, I am willing to pay fully April also.
We are both from the UK and came to Tasmania last April on a Working Holiday Visa. I am studying to be a chef at RGIT college from the 23rd April and work at Rockwall Bar and Grill in Salamanca on evenings. My partner Calumn works at St Albi's Bar and Eatery in Moonah. We currently live in a studio in New Town but as our working hours decrease to allow me to study we are looking to move back into shared accommodation again to save money. We both have experience of living in a shared house and are respectful keeping ourselves to ourselves. We enjoy the occasional night out also but would not desire to have friends over as we live most of our lives outside of the house. On days off we like to go for walks and go out to see live music in and around the city. We do have a car but off street parking is not essential.
