Hey, I'm Maddy! I'm 21 and recently moved from Sydney and have been in Brisbane for almost 6 months. I am currently working part time and studying at tafe.I initially made the move to start in my dream career, but following an injury sustained at work, I thought I'd still stick around and see what Brisbane is all about! I am looking to finish my tafe course and start my apprenticeship here. I, unfortunately, haven't made many mates since the big move, so I am looking for a sociable household with a couple of cool people! I enjoy my living areas always being clean and tidy. I do have my downtime, but always up for a chat and a beer! I am friendly, sociable, although a very busy individual, always out and about working, travelling or adventuring. You won't find me in the house lazing around often! When I have a weekend off, I love to surf, play paintball and AFL and hit the gym as often as I can. Often you'd find me at gigs and festivals or out and about at any music event I can find! (Bonus points for triple j lovers) I should include that I am a dog lover, although do not own one (yet!).
I am a professional working in the city who works long hours and looking for a place close to the city so that I can ride to work. I'm neat & tidy and respect other people's privacy, but I do like to socialise with others when the time is right. I'm also easy going and always pay my rent on time.
Currently looking to move closer into Brisbane due to work. I am 39, a non-smoker, and do enjoy the occasional drink. I am a relatively quite person and easy to get along with. I go to the gym at least 5 times a week and enjoy cooking when I feel inspired.
I have been living in my own home for the last 5 years so this is new to me. In my spare time I like to play music, be social and hang out with friends. During the week I work full time as a Solar Specialist which I love. On a Thursday night I play an acoustic gig at the YHA Bar and sometimes head to the coast to spend time with family. I am super clean, I really appreciate a clean environment and don't like too much clutter it is essential I find somewhere clean and organised. But after all I like a relaxed fun environment and find it easy to get along with everyone, Communication is key!
Hi Im Karen, I work full time in a stable job (11years). I mostly work afternoons and every 2nd weekend which means you get some privacy of a night time for the most part. On my weekend off i have 4 days off, so like to get out of town and go camping or head to the coastal towns to the beach pending on weather. Also like to chill out at home. Am also working on my fitness. This is another reason I want to go into a house with someone, as need somewhere to put my camping gear, and pilates machine as it simply will not fit into a just a room with my bed. Lol. (Not that I have much gear to store) I have my own car but if you don't and need to be near public transport then we can make that a priority. Wanting a chilled friendly environment to live. I have lots of kitchen stuff and a fridge, washing machine, dryer, a few Tvs, entertainment system etc but not a lounge or dining table. So am flexible to work out what's best between our stuff combined and sell what we have double up on and get what we don't. Can work that out down the track. Im pretty easy to get along with. Im clean and tidy, but not overboard. Would prefer someone who is similar. Happy to have a social drink but saying that I don't drink on a regular basis. Im pretty respectful and not going to play loud music or movies at 2am when you are trying to sleep. Lol. Flexible with location on the north side, as long as it's not too far out as I work near the city. Saying that I don't want to live in the city. I prefer to be on the outskirts. Currently at Carseldine but that is as far out as I will go. Happy to move a little closer. Also prefer to go into a place with someone who has a stable job, so no issues paying the bills. Looking at yearly rental to start and go from there. Hoping to find someone who is after the same. If you have pets, I love dogs but not much of a cat person. I currently don't have any pets. Looking to find a place with someone around May but also flexible before or after. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I am a 26 year old full time worker, with lots of experience share housing. I am looking for a little self contained granny flat or studio in an existing property. I'm generally quite busy during the week with working and climbing, and am often away camping over the weekend but enjoy a cup of tea and a chat. I am a keen gardener and come with lots of house plants & seedlings if there is garden space.
Art teacher moving from Byron bay, to be close to family. Need a nature filled area and good walking trails, genuine people, a quiet place, and able to make a cosy space to call home. No smoking. Mature, clean, respectful and requir the same, with warmth and easy going honest, people 🌺🙏❤️🌲
Hi there! I'm an easy going, friendly, considerate person that gets along with anyone. I'm just as happy quietly chilling out by myself as I am interacting and getting to know people - so I'm great to live with. I'm looking for a share place with not too many people because I'm not 19 anymore! Id prefer no crazy parties on school nights but there are always special occasions. I have a small cat, Meow, who is fully house trained and doesn't scratch furniture, very self content and loves meeting new people. I don't really have a preferred location at this stage but around the city or just north is preferred. Im looking forward to meeting new people and possibly sharing some new adventures!
Very easy going aussie girl who's currently working in the city. I'm very tidy, respectful of people's space and privacy but also always happy to have a couple of drinks! I love animals so will be more than happy to have a pet in the house! Looking to live in a household with at least one other female.
Single Mum with two daughters. happy and quiet. no pet. my girls are in Kenmore state high school. I work online, from home. Interested to share house with women only.

Hi! My partner and I are looking for a room somewhere in Kenmore or Bellbowrie. We are very neat and tidy, enjoy our quiet time as well as interacting with others when we need to. We will do our part of the chores and can cook for ourselves or others if needed. We don't own any pets, don't have any children and are fairly easy to get along with. Both of us are students at QUT and working part-time so a space to study that is quiet would be appreciated. My partner enjoys gaming and I, myself am a dancer. We both enjoy eating healthy and exercising so if you need an exercising buddy, hit us up! We enjoy a range of music, TV shows, movies, books and popular culture in general. We don't drink so there are no worries there! Message me if you'd like to find out more! :)
Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a 22-year-old graduate from QUT (Business/Creative Industries). Starting a Masters in Primary Education at QUT this year. Currently job hunting too, although I work casually at Suncorp Stadium. I love discovering new tv shows and movies, playing piano/guitar/ukulele, playing board games and having chats with friends. I tend to keep to myself a fair bit. I will be studying again this year so I will need a place to put my desk. I have all my own furniture for my room, plus kitchenware, an electric piano, PS3, a fridge and a dryer (if you guys need). You can trust that I am tidy and often found cleaning the bathroom or kitchen. I am looking for some roommates who are friendly and respectful. I don't smoke and rarely drink and would prefer roommates who are similar.
Hi guys! So a little about me, I'm currently working part-time as a lending and banking specialist. Although part-time I still work 5 days a week/overtime which keeps me busy. I'm also studying at QUT, which I plan on doing full-time next year, however, may decide to defer due to work priorities. I really do enjoy making new friends and have made some great friendships from share houses. I'm always down for a chat, and will always respect others privacy and space when appropriate. I also train Brazilian Jiu-jitsu 3 nights a week, which I have been doing for some time now. Between training, studying and working I tend to be out often, but always love a place to come back to and chill out :) I look forward to getting the chance to meet and potentially becoming flatmates!
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
Easy going, clean & tidy, responsible...happy to chat / watch tv / or chill out in own room / non drinker non smoker looking to share for about 4 - 6 months until I can find a home to purchase...Previously have rented out rooms in my home to students...
Working professional. Very relaxed and easy to talk to. Can make cocktails or drink wine and cheese. Not a party goer any more but always keen for a bbq or beach run. Don’t want to live near the train lines. As where I live currently I’m losing sleep. Also I’d pay a little extra to have a car park under cover. I also have a washing machine, fridge, tv and bed coming with me.
I'm a spiritual person, social, considerate, tidy. I love walking/running/ painting in nature.I've worked in the Creative Art's all my life; backstage and now FOH, & as a Scenic Artist. I was a VET Teacher. I'm now a trained Arts Therapist. I meditate so I need a relatively quiet, peaceful place to live, but I'm not monk-like, and enjoy the odd glass of wine and a chat!
Hello there! My name is Becca :) I am a 25 year old student who has just begun a Masters of Dietetics at UQ (evidently, I reaaaally enjoy food and cooking). Between this and work, I generally lead a pretty busy life and am home similar hours to an office-worker. While I do have a tendency to hermit myself during the week while I'm in study/exam mode, I am still undoubetedly a sociable lass who enjoys a chat, a Netflix get-together on a rainy Sunday, or a nice, quiet wine on a Friday afternoon. I have a partner-in-crime (my dog, Pablo), who will evidently be needing to relocate with me. He is a totally loveable little goofball of a staffy - LOVES humans and adores cuddles. His nickname is Sloth, as he tends to do nothing during the day/sleeps when no-ones home. All in all, he's a perfect housemate, and leaves things just as clean as I left them. My main priority is that any potential housemates also love dogs, as Pablo always enjoys chilling with the humans or being a fellow couch potato with you if I'm at uni/work. I'm currently in the process of attending a bunch of house inspections in Bardon/Taringa/Indooroopilly area and looking to move into a place mid-March/end of March. All properties are 3 bedrooms, with an outside area absolutely essential (good for Pablo and I like an outdoor area if anyone wishes to have friends over); at this stage rent is looking roughly at $150-$160/room for all the properties. My parents (by luck) just downsized from a giant house in Kenmore to an apartment (and so had to refurnish because none of the furniture fit), so I pretty much have enough stuff to furnish a small home (particularly if you have no furniture to bring over with you), with the exception of a sofa and beds. SO if you are looking to set up shop in a place that actually feels like a home (i.e. share the occasional meal if we're all on the same schedule, the freedom to invite friends over, enjoy a good movie night or beer), then please feel free to message me!!
Hi there, I am Deb, easy going, clean and tidy, I have two beautiful fur Kidz, one a lovable Maltese and the other a sooky Rag doll cat. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would like to bring with me, I have a large refrigerator and washing machine which can be used or go into storage. I have stable work, into healthy living and a positive outlook on life. I am interested in living in a NON SMOKING home with clean and respectful house mates who like to live in a homely feel but like their own space as well. I am interested in moving into a home with others or teaming up to rent a property with like minded people in May.
