Military guy who can adapt to different living environments. Ideally looking for a LGBT friendly place close to the city. I'm a car nut, love music and live gigs, sports, fitness and hanging out. Pretty tidy and clean around the house and cook some pretty decent feeds. I work full time in Defence, part time in a gym and study part time on top of that. Like my quiet weekends just as much as the rambuctious ones. Outdoors is a place I like to be, whether it be going for a drive, camping, climbing mountains or trees or just going for a wander.
I'm a relaxed, respectful and polite person. I love peace and quiet but am also fairly sociable as well! I'm considering moving to Brisbane for work as a hydrogeologist, so I simply wanted to get an idea of living costs and availabilities.
I work full time so I’m reliable with payments. I grew up with 8 siblings, so I am not fussed about noise, sharing space with others, helping out with cleaning, etc. I’m also not bothered if my roommates like to have guests or partners over regularly. I’m a bit of a quiet soul, so you probably won’t hear much from me :)
Professional violinist currently based in Melbourne looking for a cosy home near Brisbane. Would love to find something close by the mountain and surrounded by nature. I do have a very lovely cat, Beau. He's mainly indoor however likes to follow me into the garden and soak in the sun on occasion.
Just moved back to Australia after two years abroad in EU and UK. Relaxed, easy going, friendly, respect space but also always down to hang out. Begin studying Nursing & Paramedicine in 2020 but until then working as many hours as possible in hospitality and administration jobs :)
Recently separated father of three. Non smoker/drinker Open-minded hospitality professional looking for a quietish household with like minded people. My work means I'm rarely at home and I will spend Sunday/Monday/Tuesday at the family home with my kids.
Hello potential housemate/s, *Please note I have an indoor cat which is a non-negotiable aspect of me as a potential tenant. Cheers.* Hello! I am a 38 year old female looking for a cat friendly place to live in north/north west of Brisbane. Preferences: A spacious home with lots of trees. An decent sized, unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture, desk and belongings. A built in wardrobe. An ensuite bathroom is preferred. Plenty of storage space is needed for my camping and craft supplies. I would prefer to share with like minded people who are between 30-45 years old, and enjoy a peaceful life. My days of partying are long gone! LOL I also have quite a few plants, so a courtyard or backyard for gardening would be awesome. I enjoy bushwalking, op shopping, camping and kayaking, and art making. I come with a beautiful cat named George, who is strictly an indoor cat. A cat friendly place is very important! :-) I think I am good to live with because I am considerate, respectful and self aware; funny, friendly but I am also independant and like my alone time; I always pay rent on time. I am quiet, but not anti social, and like a harmonious living environment. Looking forward to meeting you! *Genuine responses only, and please have a current listing of your place/space with images for me to peruse* The more information you can provide, the less questions I will have to bombard you with. :-) NO TIME WASTERS OR SCAMMERS. CONTACT WILL BE MADE THROUGH FLATMATES UNTIL AFTER INSPECTION OR MEETING HAS TAKEN PLACE.
I'm a civil engineer by profession, working as an asset auditor. Born and raised in South Africa, I'm moving back to Brisbane after a few months away. I'm clean, organised, quiet, considerate and easy going. I love meditating and being in nature. I'm vegetarian (i don't mind if housemates aren't) and i don't drink or smoke. In a few weeks I will be travelling a lot for work and will only be home mostly on the weekends.
Recently transferred from Sydney and looking for an awesome new flatmate to share a place with! A bit about me: I'm a busy professional who works long hours and travels quite frequently for business. I’m also back at Uni studying a medical degree so I need a stable and chilled home environment. Not interested in a party house, those days are long gone! I live an active lifestyle, like keeping fit and spend most weekends outdoors, exploring new places, trying out new cafes/bars and I do try to head down the coast to visit my family as much as possible. I do appreciate a quiet night in watching a movie, sharing good food, wine/scotch, intellectual conversation and relaxing with my housemate and friends. I’ve been told I’m the ultimate housemate (besides the fact I’m rarely home), I'm considerate, respectful, have well developed life-skills, I can cook, clean up after myself and generally keep pretty quiet. Ideal living situation: I'm looking for a likeminded professional that shares similar values, someone that has stability, who is reliable and has a positive vibe. Although I like to have my own space and give my housemate the same respect, I would ideally like to establish a friendship with who I live with. Makes it so much more pleasant than coming home to a stuffy transactional interaction Not keen to share with more than one person, however, would happily consider additional housemates depending on the dynamic. I would prefer having my own private bathroom and car space if possible. Look forward to hearing from you. N xx
I am friendly, clean and respectful of privacy. I work full time. I have a gorgeous cat called Moggi. I’m looking to either rent out the available rooms in my current house in Paddington ($260 a week, 3 bedroom) or find somewhere new to move 😊
I work in the entertainment industry( as a Johnny Depp/Captain Jack Impersonator )and have also worked for Melbourne Transformers( as Bumblebee and started learning Optimus Prime ). I have recently moved back to Queensland where I worked with Village Roadshow Theme Parks for 10 years. I am really happy to be back home and hopefully find a place with a very homely feel with great housemates.
