My partner and I study at USC and hope to find a place before we go onto our second year of uni. I work at the Sunshine Plaza and Kieren is on a scholarship. We both enjoy soccer and the beach! Going to be honest - we don’t mind to have a chat every now and again, but we also do like our space.
I am a 22 year old female who lives a healthy and active lifestyle. I am a full time UNI student but also work riding horses on weekends and during the UNI breaks. I enjoy mountain hikes and going to the gym. I love animals and have a hand raised rosella and a baby bearded dragon. I am very clean and tidy and am looking for a room, studio apartment or granny flat to rent close to the University of the Sunshine Coast.
I am working casually as an office assistant. I currently live in Maleny. I enjoy being in nature, the beach or rain-forests, exercising, eating healthily and reading/discussing positive and inspiring events or programs happening connected to nature, the environment or health. I am quiet, non-smoking, tidy, considerate and open minded. I pay bills on time and have excellent references. I will be studying at the University of the Sunshine Coast this year that is why I would like to move. I am seeking a quiet harmonious environment.
Hello lovely people. We are easy going, clean, respectful, and happy people. We love the outdoors and nature. We love going on adventures and camping. We love to cook and are very easy to get along with. We love dogs and animals. I studied conservation biology at uni, worked in Conservation, currently work as a dog walker and pet sitter and will be doing a master's in primary school teaching. My partner will be working full time in construction. We are both vegetarian/vegan. I would like there to be outside space and other places in the house for me to study even just a table in the kitchen. Best wishes Emma and Natty
I'm not great at blowing my own trumpet. I have lived in Brisbane my whole life, and embarking on a new career up the sunny coast. I'm tidy and organised, and prefer things to be easy to find in sensible locations. I enjoy tinkering with technology, solving problems, but mostly just hanging out with people. That being said I don't enjoy the big parties, I'd rather have 3 or 4 friends around for a chat and a movie than go out to a big party at a noisy venue any day. I"m happy to do almost anything so long as its with friends, be that fishing, boating, board games, xbox, karaoke, hiking, camping, almost anything as it's the people that make something great. I enjoy serving the community and helping out where I can, I enjoy attending church, donating blood, and helping strangers. I don't smoke and do not wish to live with people who do (I just can't stand the smell). I do not wish to live with any school aged children (though I'm more than happy to have housemates nieces or nephews or friends kids visit) I would certainly prefer a house with people of a similar age. The closer to the beach the better, air con would be a plus. Let me know if you've got somewhere that might suit. Trevor
Hey, I'm Tom, I'm 24 and from the US. I'm looking to come to Australia on a working holiday visa around mid- to late February. Ideally I'd love to find a room or share house close to the beach. I love hanging out at the beach, and keeping active but also enjoy a good drink or two. I am very easygoing and tidy. I would be open to USC students, Australian or international as well. Contact me to see if we can arrange something.
We are super friendly and easy to get along with. We both live active lives that keeps us busy throughout the day. We are not the type of people that go out every weekend due to a studies, work and gym. We're always up for a good chat and know when to give space if needed.
Hi! I'm a full time barista, so pretty big days but a pretty chilled lifestyle! I'm new to the Sunshine Coast (from Brisbane) Looking for a nice relaxed home to live in! I will probably only be at home 2-3 nights a week as I spend most weekends and some weeknights with my partner. I'm clean and laid back, hoping to live with someone the same! I would prefer to live with girls, and definitely love a wine or 2 every now and then :-)
Hey! I’m a 26 year old doctor from the UK originally. I’m moving from the outback to work at SCUH in January, and am looking for somewhere to rent. My hours are pretty variable but I’m respectful of others with this, and could sleep through most things myself! I do smoke, but would only ever do this outside and away from any open doorways. I’m not looking just to move in and hide in my room- I’d like to get to know and socialise with my flat mates ideally! When I’m not working I like exploring, watching terrible television and the odd glass of wine (or 6!) Pretty much an open book, feel free to ask anything :)
Hello! I am a 29 year old teacher who just moved back from the Torres Straits. Looking for a housemate preferably FIFO but open to other full-time workers. I like a wine most afternoons because teaching Prep takes it out of you, ya know. I have a dog called Tilli (aka dingo) she is 12 and likes a good Netflix binge... Warning cliche flatmate resume ahead*** clean and tidy, works full time, bubbly personality... laughs at own jokes, likes tv, likes camping, likes random adventures, thinks of self as crafty.
Hi there, I am looking for a room in share accommodation. I am from Brisbane and moved to Sunshine Coast due to work. I work full time from Monday to Friday. I am pretty social, friendly and enjoy company. I am a easy going, mature, clean person who is more than welcome to have a chat with companies at the flat and also would like to respect individuals' private space and time :)
Update: 12.01.2018 There is only one month left and I will be coming to Australia ! About me: My name is Maximilian and I am a 23-year old student from Germany. I am going to study for one semester at the University of the Sunshinecoast, semester 1 2018. I will be arriving in Mid-February 2018. I am looking for a room until the end of June 2018, so for around 5 months. It would be great to live in a place that welcomes international students. I like to play volleyball and skateboarding. I am a beginner in surfing and I can imagine to go on with surfing at the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. During the week-ends, it would be great to explore the Sunshine coast and its surrounding places. Looking for shared rooms with local Australians, internationals and open for Homestay. Personally, I would love to live in the neighbourhood of the university because I would like to take the chance to live together with local Australians, preferred location: beachside. If you are interest to welcome an international student, I am looking forward to hearing from you. I would love to have a room before arriving so a Skype call would be an option to get to know each other better ;) Maximilian
Hi everyone . My names Chelsea :) I’m looking to team up or join a great place to call home . I own a business so I’m not home much however when I am, I like to have a safe, friendly chilled environment to unwind in . Ultimately I’d love my own bathroom . I need somewhere pug friendly so if my partner stays (lives in Brisbane) we don’t have to get a dog sitter. Aircon and a pool would be perfect :) I have shared houses for many years so very house trained and reliable . I would like to be friends with my housemates and also respectful of others personal space . I am an outdoor smoker. If you are interested in teaming up somewhere close to Mooloolaba or have a place that you think would suit, please hit me up . I would prefer to live with females around similar age . Thanks everyone
Hello I am a 42 year old single (mum) female on a disability pension due to a few illnesses that I have. Although my illnesses do not productively make me any less of a tenant as I still get around on my own, just walk with a walking stick when I'm out and about due to vertigo and arthritis etc. I have OCD so you can guarantee your unit would be very looked after. I live in Nambour at present and have done for many years. I was previously a home owner for 20 years with my ex husband to whom is the father of both of my boys, 13 year old Bailey, and 18 year old Brayden, both very quiet boys who will be staying with their dad although my 13 year old may stay with me on occasions. I have an amicable relationship with my ex husband, to who I live with at the moment, but I live with him as a tenant and he owns the home. The reason I'm moving is I really just want to have my own space. I'm very quiet, non smoker, non drinker, don't party, the most I would have over would be a girlfriend over for coffee or lunch. I like to stick to myself and am a very shy girl who just wants to have my own space. At present I pay my ex husband $330 per week rent so I would have no trouble paying my rent as I will also be receiving the family benefit that I get now, rent assistance and my disability pension. The rent I pay now is for that's my room and ensuite and my own living area and the boys rooms, but now he will have the responsibility of the boys. My 18 year old works hard 6 days a week and may visit every now and again. Although my 13 year old may come and stay with me on occassions or some nights. He's a very quiet boy like myself. I would like to bring with me my indoor cat who is well behaved and doesn't scratch at screens or furniture or carpet as she has her own little castle and bed and she is toilet trained. She is 3 so not a kitten. But if I can't bring her it's totally fine as my children will look after her. As for references I can give you three or more if you need but please assure me I've always had a impeccable rental history and mortgage history. I am very clean and tidy and OCD and am so so quiet. I truly am such a quiet genuine person who is respectful of others and others property, tidy, clean, non smoker, non drinker (maybe one socially), no drugs, no drama, no parties, have quiet kids and would be an impeccable tenant, you really couldn't have a better tenant than myself. Have always been a great tenant and home owner. Treat others homes as I would my own, with perfection. Kind Regards Karen Wilde
Dynamic and enthusiastic Italian student. I have been living in Australia for 2.5 years now and looking for a place to call home during my master degree program.
hey my name is Lockie im a 22 year old male working full time as an apprentice chef in Maroochydore. i consider myself to be clean, chilled out, down to earth and just an all round friendly guy. for hobbies i do a bit of gaming i love my music and a beach day with a bit of soccer every now and again is always in the cards, to be honest probably wouldn't be around much because im always working but i guess that's just life :)
I'm 26 and work full-time as a solicitor (don't hold it against me - it was a youthful miscalculation). I'm a pretty easy going person. I really appreciate a clean kitchen, but can guarantee that my floor and room will be covered in clothing 90% of the time. I enjoy being active. That being said, I probably enjoy red wine/a beer (depending on the weather), good food and quality company slightly more. I'm South African born, but been in Aus since 2004, so I'm basically Australian now. I have no concerns with/issues with anyone else's sexuality/religion/diet/lifestyle. I have no allergies. I love animals - all of them. I'd like a home where I get along with my housemates. Where, at the end of the day, we can complain about our first world problems and recommend good restaurants and bars to each other. I'm social about half the time, but after a long, stressful day I do sometimes prefer to just hide in my room for a bit and watch Netflix or read. I'd prefer to live with people in their 20's and 30's, simply because so far, I've found that the dynamic suits me better.
Recently completed my Enrolled Nursing course and looking to move to start work within the health care industry. I'm easy going, relaxed, trustful person. I enjoy heading to the beach, just getting into photography, anything to do with food and the occasional social beverage.
