Hey all, my name is Sophie, I'm a 20 year old girl working part to full time hours at woolworths. I'm looking for a place to call home for the next few months, while I'm able to save some money and also meet some new faces :) 3 months would be the minimum length of my stay, and any location would suit me perfectly. I'm clean, fun, I love music, I'm easy going and I do enjoy a quiet night in. I don't have any pets, but I am a smoker. Thank you, Sophie.
I expect spend 3-4 nights a week at the property and I am hoping for somewhere that would allow my parnter to stay over but it is fine if this isn't possible. I am neat and quiet but very easy to have a conversation with. I am looking to live with people who are flexible but also clear in the terms they want to live by.
Hey guys! I am a Postgrad student looking for a place for myself before classes start. I'm a civil engineer and love sports. Polite, friendly, great listener, music n movies enthusiast, tidy and not into pets at all. Need help finding a reasonable accommodation in Geelong with an attached bathroom.
Looking for a chilled place, with people who are keen for cold beer or wine at the end of a long day. Not a massive partier, but do enjoy a good bbq, dinner or drinks with good mates. Currently studing bach of Arch and Constrct Management at Deakin, as well as working on the weekends.
I am unemployed at the moment having moved back to Victoria from queensland. Staying in Melbourne until I can find work and a place to live in Geelong area to be near my daughter and grandkids. I'm easy going and willing to share household duties. I have an elderly Staffy who I would need to have indoors. Non smoker, non drinker.
Hi potential flatmates I've moved to Geelong for a grad position and I'm looking for some sociable flat mates to share with. A bit about me: I'm 25 and tidy(ish) a non-smoker and I love pets, reading and cooking. I'll be working normal business hours and be heading to Melbourne or the beach half the weekends. Send me a message if you're interested!
Hi, I’m Natalia and I’m 31 y/o. I am architect with regional skill visa looking for a place to live in Geelong for at least 1 month, but it can be for a longer period. I'm easy going, friendly and responsible. During my free time I love reading, watching movies, listen music, training, cooking and chilling out in my own space or outside with friends. I like socialising and sharing a meal/drink with housemates or just chatting.
Super friendly gal looking for a new place to call home. ABOUT ME: • I class myself as pretty laid back, fun, super caring, honest and a good communicator • I like to live in a clean, tidy and fun environment and would prefer to live with people who appreciate these values. • meeting new people and new points of view on life is always cool. • love outdoor adventures, swimming, snorkelling, hiking and exploring new places. • also love dressing up for the occasional event or night out - music festivals and charity events included. • I enjoy having a chat at the end of the day and sharing the occasional meal and glass of wine. However, I also value privacy - mine and others. • love animals, if you have a dog I will walk him for you!! WORK SITUATION: • I have recently graduated from my studies (nursing) and am relocating to Geelong to establish a career and potentially continue on with further study. I have several employment opportunities lined up, however these have had to be put on hold until I have found somewhere to live. HOUSEMATE QUALITIES: • housemate aged 22-35 • people with similar values as above • good communication - communication is what makes or breaks a household. • if you're my housemate, I've got your back, that's just how it is. If this arrangement sounds of interest to you flick me an email :)
I'm Grace - a 25 year old junior doctor currently at Geelong Hospital. Would be keen to find a home/ housemates that are pretty relaxed, down for a wine after work, and are easy to live and chat with 😊
I study at the Deakin uni and work in Pakington Street. I am looking for a quiet place to return to at the end of the day to get a good night's rest. Though I do socialise I don't usually have friends over. I like to cook my meals myself and enjoy some beer or wine.
Hey, I'm YewZhi, an almost-20-year-old moving to Geelong in late Feb to finish off a Bachelor of Architecture and Construction Management at Deakin Waterfront. Easygoing and friendly, but quiet. Born and raised in Perth, WA where I've completed 2 years of architecture school at UWA. I enjoy music, sport, the beach (hopefully Geelong's beaches are as good as Perth's!!! :) ) and fitness (but not like crazy - gym + running/cycling).
I'm a positive friendly person, I'm out everyday during the day with work or study so all I really need is a bedroom to stay in 😊 I can cook and clean up after myself. I love animals and am doing a course in animal studies, I am easy to get along with.
Just coming to the end of my first 3 months in Australia and looking for a house to stay in for the next 6 months. I've come over from England and I'm on a working holiday visa. I'm currently working at the Ebony and Ivory Cafe on Moorabool St and most of my time will be spent working, surfing and at my girlfriend's house. I don't drink and I'm not much for partying but I do like to cook so if you're looking for a quieter housemate I would suit well!
I am a 24 year old female from Horsham, Victoria. A country girl at heart but I grew up overseas so I'm great at establishing relationships with all types of people. I'm very clean and tidy, I like to plan and prepare and generally be organised in most things. I have a beautiful puppy not yet 1 year old, he's a King Charles Cavalier and his name is Chester. He is fully house trained and very sociable. Would prefer to live with other girls around my age or older.
Hey I really hate these self describe sections so this will be short and brief. I'm Joiner by trade, which if you have no idea what that is that's cool surprisingly not many do. I'm a clean individual who always pays his bills on time and more than happy to do my fair share of house chores. On the social side big fan of heading out an grabbing a drink at the local pub and chilling not overly keen on the night club scene Well that's me in a snap shot
Hey, I'm Grace - a full time student at Melb Uni and working part time in Geelong. I tend to keep fairly busy but would love a house mate/s who I could chill with in the evenings. I'm easy going and have lived by myself the past two years up in Melbourne (this is the part where you're impressed I can pay rent, cook and clean for myself). Ideally I'd like to start up a house with one or two others, and I've got a fair bit of furniture which I'm happy for everyone to use. I'd dig a place with a garden so I can get a legendary veggie patch going, but happy to compromise :)
My name is Ben. I'm aged 25 and work full time in the public service. I'm looking for a relaxed house with mature minded housemates who are outgoing. I enjoy cooking, exercise, N64 and cats. I'm laid back and enjoy the occasional social event. I am very interested in meeting like minded people who would rent a house as a group. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I'm a student at Deakin waterfront; not really fussed about location, albeit nearish uni would be cool. Huge music nerd, caffeine fiend, and all-round okay person. I'm experienced with sharehouse living so I'm well versed in looking after the place, sharing the load, not being an ass and all that kind of stuff. I don't have pets, but I love animals so it's cool if you do. Also, looking to move by about mid-March.
I am a quiet business owner who is currently going through a marriage separation. Until the finalisation of my divorce I am looking for a clean, quiet and respectful home in which I can rent a room. I do not smoke, drink or use drugs and am respectful and polite. I am hoping my 2 well mannered young kids are able to visit on the weekends however this is not a fixed arrangement. Finding somewhere I can live for three to six months where I can respect the privacy of my housemate(s) and be granted the same privacy in return, is a priority. I am ready to move in straight away.
Hi I'm a fun loving person who known how to have a good time but still knows when to keep to myself and give others there privacy. I'm currently working casually on weekends and study full time during the week at the Gordon and I am studying a certificate IV in beauty therapy :) I've put down that I have pets I do have two dogs but they live with my parents and will continue to stay there when I move out but I am really wanting to get a kitten when I move out but if that's a deal breaker it's not a must. And my hobbies really just consist of reading A LOT, watching A LOT of TV series and MOVIES ! And love to catch up with friends and have a laugh about anything or everything.
I work full time as a speech pathologist and am looking to move to the Geelong area to be closer to work. I'm easy going and would love to make some new friends who could potentially join me in watching trashy TV or show me where to head out to on the weekends.
Hi I'm Celene, I'm looking for a room to rent in Geelong. I'm relatively new to the area so would love for my housemates to become friends. I do however enjoy my "me" time. I like to stay fit, binge watch tv and have a drink on the weekends. I would really prefer female housemates in their early 20s. Feel free to send me a message to talk further!
I am a french student about to graduate who studied all around the world (France, Netherlands Switzerland, Malaysia). I love to travel and decided to join my girlfriend in Melbourne. I am very open minded and I have been living in shared accommodations for years. So if you like wine and cheese I am sure we can get along ! Cheers (PS: its ok if you dont like cheese, Im not a fan either)
Quiet and respectful of other peoples space and privacy. Well trained in the art of cleaning up after ones self. The worst will be the sound of my espresso machine each morning as I wait for a cup of the delicious brew. Work from home as a web developer and currently doing Muay Thai training locally. I may travel or eventually move closer to Melbourne. So for now the share accommodation is great flexibility as that gives me the freedom to do both later towards the year. Things to note: Am vego, and can cook nice foods.
Clean, tidy, friendly, fun loving, quiet and respectful, no kids, don't smoke, dont do drugs, not a big drinker but like a quiet beer every now and then, i work full time and keep fit doing muay thai and like to socialise as well. Born and bread in geelong, work for a small earthmoving company and love funny and action movies

We’re a couple looking for a place to call home! I’m 21 and hail from Malaysia and he is born and bread (jokes!) in France and just turned 23 a week ago. We love meeting new people (and we would love you even more if you have a furry friend or two!). We’re both in France at the moment (stuffing ourselves with French cheese and baguettes) and we’ll be coming to Melbourne in two weeks’ time. I’m pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Melbourne and he’ll be doing an internship with Rip Curl in Torquay.....in between having fun, of course! (maybe not too much fun.....someone's got to pay those rent and bills). We both enjoy the occasional Friday nights out and binge-watching TV shows. We’re both neat freaks (I, more than him) so you have nothing to worry about regarding keeping the house clean! He does the cooking most of the time (and I do the cleaning after) but once in a while I will succumb to my Asian food cravings and will make a pathetic attempt to whip up some sushi or Indian food (yes, that's right, FREE SUSHI). We’re also interested in joining a gym and getting ourselves back in shape (while having a guilty slice of cheese or two.....or ten). Still not convinced? We are both committed and capable of paying the bond and rent before our arrival (and also the monthly rental, ON TIME, of course). We are very open-minded and are very respectful of everyone’s space and privacy. If you would like to know more, do send us a message! :)
I'm 22 years old and have been studying construction management at RMIT for the past 4 years. I still have one semester left to finish my studies but it's a thesis so I bacially have no contact hours to undertake. I have recently managed to get my dream job for a builder but it meant I have to work in Geelong as I currently live in Patterson Lakes. I work 4-5 days a week which means all I am looking for is a place to stay during the week as I head back home over the weekends. I work 6:45am to 5pm on most days and go to the gym or footy training so you will barely see me. Once I finish work on Friday I head home and won't come back till either Monday arvo or sometimes Tuesday afternoon. I am currently paying 150 dollars a week but because I'm barely there, I'm looking for somewhere else which will be a bit cheaper.
We r a small family with 3....me , my wife & 5 yrs son, looking for Accomodation for 1-3 months in geelong areas. Please contact on if u have something. So I need a sharehouse/flat/studio apartment for this duration. We r very neat & tidy & respectful......
Easy to get a long with and great company. Tidy and respectful and happy to help others. About to transfer to a new department with the Australian Buruea of Statistics as a exciting new career move. Originally from the Mornington Peninsula, I am looking at this as a chance to start fresh and meet some new people.
22 year old female seeking new sharehouse. I'm introverted, quiet and do my dishes. I'm looking for a friendly sharehouse with housemates that are respectful and polite. I do not want to join a sharehouse that is noisy. I'd prefer roommates that: - Don't party - Don't have sex at the house - Don't smoke I would also prefer a nice sized room with good lighting and internet. I will want to meet the other tenants before I agree to move in to make sure we are a good fit. Thanks for reading.
I am a teacher, I do work Monday-Friday, but don't mind a good time. I am a relaxed person and easy to get along with. I enjoy sport and catching up with friends. I enjoy cooking to relax, so there will always be something to eat with me around!
Thoughtful, neat and tidy, but not over-zealous. I do like a well presented home though. Social drinker on some weekends. Like to game (online) with friends now and then. Happy for a chat about all things from politics to TV shows, and pretty much everything in between. I try to keep open minded. I cook reasonably healthy and always happy to share, but I've been known to raid the pantry now and then for a late night snack... Hey, at least I'm honest. I'll replace whatever I consume. :) P.S. I love animals, especially dogs, but don't have any of my own right now. So I'm happy to share with pet owners, in case that's important to you (it would be to me if I owned a pet).
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a place from March 2017 until July roughly (with the possible extension until November 2017). Preferably around $140/less and close to Deakin Waterfront would be ideal for me (but can negotiate prices). I'm a friendly and tidy person who loves a good chat and to meet new people! If anyone is in a similar situation, don't hesitate to send me a message :) Thank you!! Cassie
Hi folks, I like peace and quiet....and I like to be able to do my own thing. I've returned from overseas to run my growing internet business....7 days a week from a shed in Moolap. My wife is overseas and I will return to see her at Easter. I will need accommodation till 11-04-17 and again from the 27-04-17 for several months. I'd be prepared to pay a fee to hold the room while I am away. I like to go to Sunday markets, swap meets and enjoy a good coffee shop when I find one with perfectly roasted beans. I like a BBQ now and then and my own home made stew or spaghetti bol....which I don't mind sharing. I had to leave my motorcycle behind when I came back....so what do people who don't have a motorcycle do for fun times??? I am living with Peter and Jen in Highton at the mo. You can call Peter if you like for a reference. I can give you the mobile number later. I clean up after myself and cook a few meals each week and breakfast most days. Will always leave the kitchen tidy. Cheers
Hi! I'm currently a full time teacher, however, am about to begin studying medicine as a post graduate at Deakin University. I love playing sport, having a nice relaxing weekend and going for a jog or a walk. I have lived in share houses in the past and consider myself a friendly and cooperative housemate. I like my own space but enjoy being social too.
Well...I don't like selling myself, but I am AWESOME to live with because I don't snore and I'm usually happy and full of energy. In July, I'll fly over from Belgium (where I live in the historic city centre of Ghent - with lots of bridges, chocolate, and a castle) to complete part of my doctoral research on sexual wellbeing at Deakin University (15 July - 31 Oct, Geelong Waterfront campus). I've studied English literature and linguistics, theatre, and social psychology... and for fun...I love jumping into adventures (sometimes quite literally)... I also like cooking and reading books and watching movies and simply being surrounded by nature. I speak Flemish and English quite fluently. Drop me in Paris and I'll survive as well. Oh. And I should probably say that I move around on wheels (read: I'm a wheelchair user) so I'll definitely beat you on a walk around the city...except if we go for the beach...then you'll need to come and save me. No other life saving assistance needed.
