EDIT: looking for female(s) for teamup only! I have been renting a townhouse by myself for about a year now and my lease is about to end. As much as I have loved living by myself, I would love to find a compatable roommate to start the next chapter of my life! I'm a full-time psychology/law student at MQU (with one more semester left) and I work part-time in Epping. So I would ideally love to stay within the area. I love playing piano, listening to music, painting, nature, cooking (vegan food), and I am very much free-spirited. Hoping to find a like-minded person (or people) to start a new house with! I already have all the furniture and appliances needed, but happy to sell or re-home to suit the new situation! I also have a beautiful black rescue cat named Jasper who acts like a dog (everyone loves him and he loves everyone) If this sounds at all like you, please send me a message and we can meet over coffee or something to discuss!
** not looking anymore sorry Looking to move in anytime after December 27, though open to moving earlier if we found the right place. Just need to find somewhere before uni starts again for 2019 I’d like an ensuite, though slighlty flexible if there's an awesome place with no ensuite room. Would prefer to stay somewhere very close to uni or a quick bike ride away. BTW I went to boarding school and have lived in student share accommodation since, so I am very experienced in sharing living spaces. I’m a full time student at Macquarie Uni and work part-time in the city. I grew up on a farm in Nyngan if that is of any interest. I know the uni like the back of my hand. I’m very involved in the Macquarie uni community (am an exec on a society too). I was a member of the SRC, 2015-2017. I’m very social, and inclusive. I keep my mess to myself and like to keep common areas clean and always wash up after myself straight away. Would be cool to have house movie nights and study nights every now and then. I often just keep to myself but also love socialising. Would prefer somewhat social housemates but am also more than okay with someone that wants to keep to themselves more. And in saying that, as much as I love having friends over, I rarely do. I mostly just go to social events at uni, including debates and talks put on by various societies. I love the beach and swimming. I like to be active, love going for a run, love playing soccer and recently got back into netball. Although, it’s hard to be motivated to do all that as much as I should, so work out buddies welcome! 😜 I’ve got my eye on some great 2+ bedroom places near uni with nice entertaining areas, so please message me if you think we’re after similar things :)
I am friendly, outgoing and flexible. not a party animal , but always enjoy catching up with friends over lunch and coffee. I work full time in IT industry. I am neat and tidy, most importantly respectful of others privacy and expect the same.
I’m a full time international Masters student at Macquarie University and a photography and sales assistant at Sydney Aquarium. I enjoy traveling, cooking and acting a lot! I’m a happy person and have a loud laugh 🙊
Hi , I am Varun; bunny, electrical engineer, guitarist, vocalist, fitness enthusiast, traveller; working in a corporation. I am cleanliness friendly and quite social.
Hello! :) I am Chanti, 24 y.o., from Germany and currently studying Psychology (M.Sc.) in Luxembourg. I would say I am a Europe lover 100%!! Probably after my first stay in Australia - I am going to do a research internship for 3 months - I will call myself an Australia lover as well. :P Looking forward to baking and philosohising with you. See you!
I have lived in share-houses for years, so have all of the training and good habits you need in someone who you're going to share a space with. I also really love living with people I click with, it's so important to feel like you're at home - not just in a house :) I work full time at the Department of Planning and Environment in stakeholder engagement, and in my spare time I teach yoga at a small studio in Lane Cove (and am always looking for people to practice my teaching on!). If that sounds good to you, let's team up! I'm looking to move around the end of November or December.
I'm a 20 year old first year student at Macquarie Uni. I am working part-time and looking for a place to move into for 2019. I am independent and often stick to myself. I have experience living with 3 others in a share house. In my spare time I like to read and often go camping, having been in scouts for 10 years. I love pets, and am happy to be around them if you have one of your own.
I actually don't know what to say. I am coming from Ahmedabad,Gujarat. I lead a simple life. I don't smoke or drink. I just want to study hard prove myself. I am friendly, love to hang out with friends. I can keep to myself but with people I love I can be very social. Not an early bird. I dont snore😂.
Hey! My name is Henry and I'm currently 21 year old student studying in Melbourne. This Summer, I will be interning in Sydney where I am looking for a place to stay during my internship (24 Nov - 16 Feb). I enjoy playing sports (I like running and play social netball), memes and also like trying out new things too (show me why Sydney is better than Melbourne perhaps)? Though I like to have fun, I also like to chill and take things slowly too :)
I am 35 year old Male from Laos, I am currently studying to be a scientist at university, my lifelong passion is science and music, I would like a career in science/music, I am very good looking I enjoy socialising with anyone who has similar interest I am easy going out going and like to go for walks/jogs and I enjoying cooking Thai foods, I am clean tidy immaculate looking for a place to live near Macquarie university or UTS.
AVAILABLE FROM MID-NOVEMBER My names Nina, I’m a 26 year old lawyer. I work long hours and I’m looking to move out closer to the city for work. I love to cook (vegan foods) and like to play rap music while I do so... it’s a balance! I also love to feed people but it’s fine if you don’t want to try my food, I’ll probably shove the leftovers in my colleagues faces :) I’m also a yogi, and meditate as much as I can. I love to socialise so I need to be compatible with my roomie(s). I respect privacy too. I have a bedroom that I paid big bucks for so that needs to come a long... as well as my huge wardrobe so built-ins are a must! I am extremely hygienic so my own bathroom is a preference... or share with someone that can wash down the shower once their done. I have a regular income and will most likely pay a month in advance, every month.. :)
G'day, I'm a 32 year old professional who works in Disability Services and runs a Trivia company in the evenings. I like to spend my weekends relaxing at home with a movie or board game and catching up on sleep, but do enjoy a spot of cleaning. I'm also a pair with my delightful cat, Marma. Marma is a 6 year old domestic short hair cat that is an absolute darling. She loves soft cushions, feeling safe, head boops, and pats. She is litter trained and uses the tray without issue. She is vaccinated, wormed, and flea-free with regular vet checks. She will love you if you let her, and is a sucker for a belly pat. I love her. I am respectful of communal spaces and enjoy time alone in my room(s) as well as the social aspects of share housing. I don't depend on housemates for social fulfillment as I have my own group of friends and family that are important to me. I have just ended a 7-year relationship and am looking to look after myself for a bit (read: spend time at home cuddling Marma) before returning to the world of dating. As I work heavily during the week, I like to arrange my own foods for Mon-Fri (typically cereals and sandwiches). I am happy to share in common items or supply my own. I also am partial to a spot of baking and dinner cooking on the weekends and would be happy to share this with housemates on arrangement/request. Omnivore. Partial to a good vegetarian dish and am not insistent on meat for every meal. Will respect your dietary choices and accommodate. Do not have own kitchen utensils or lounge furniture at present. Do have own PC set up and small stereo that I can put either in the common areas or in my room. Also have two bookcases that can be called into service.
I'm an energetic but easy-going 20-year-old balancing full-time work and study. In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and chilling with my fur-baby (my 2-year-old, extremely cuddly, quiet, toilet trained and well-behaved chihuahua). I'd love to hang out with my flatmates and bond over some good wine and cheese every once in a while, but am also happy doing my own thing. I'm always willing to lend a hand, especially with cleaning and the like. I do drive, but ideally looking for somewhere near-ish public transport. Please shoot me a message if you think I may be a good fit in your home, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hi there, My name is Ange, I am 42 and work full time in Sydney. I also work another 2 part time jobs so I am a very busy gal! I am single and looking to move back to Sydney and share the cost of a lovely rental with a lovely flat mate. I am in search of a house primarily or townhouse that is neat, clean, newish - not old, very spacious and in a great location close to trains shops etc, but I also have my own car too. The ideal situation would be a half house or semi-duplex where both housemates have their own space and place but share the cost of the rental property, but since these are rare to find, I am also open to sharing a place too. I am looking for a place that has a double garage that I need to consume and happy to pay more rent for this. The locations I have selected include surrounding suburbs too, just thought I should point that out! :) I have a lot of clothes, shoes, handbags etc (typical woman lol), trying to cull these now and would need a large master bedroom with decent size ensuite and lots of wardrobe space to house the shoes and clothes!! I am currently living on the Central Coast but the house I am living in will put on the market to be sold very soon so needing to move out of here in the new year! I love shopping (although I try to avoid this these days) :), love going to the beach, learning, books, cooking, movies, bars and clubs sometimes (just for a dance), and I run my own business on the side too. I am outgoing, friendly, respectful of one's privacy and space, love cleaning and love pets, providing they are clean and do not smell. As mentioned above, I am happy to pay more rent for a huge bedroom and the garage as I really do need it. I am really looking for a like-minded female professional or two, that is clean, tidy, respectful of one's belongings, space, privacy and is friendly that works full-time. A non-smoker please too! :)
Im an exchange student from California studying early childhood development at Macquarie University. I love to cook, make ceramic pottery, and go to the beach in my spare time. Looking for a friendly and easy going house to live in for my last 7 months here!:)
Hi, :) Irish guy currently living in North Epping, Sydney. The flatshare I currently live in rental agreement has finished and the lead tennant has decided not to renew. Arrived in Australia in April and have been able to secure a sponsorship to stay here long term :). I work as an Electrical Engineer and work long hours during the week. I like to travel and explore Australia in weekends. Other hobbies include drinking, keeping fit and socialising/meeting new people. I'm a clean person and take care of myself. I drive :) I have a girlfriend who I would want to stay every other weekend (2 days out of 14 days) - she works in a different city :) Looking for not only a place to live but people to make friends with :)
Quiet, clean, mindful, nonsmoker. Masters of Clinical Psychology student at Macquarie University.
I am an IT professional working in a company in Sydney, basically from India (Chandigarh). I love teaching and would love to live with people who are crazy about learning and exchanging information to make lives better. I am fun loving but I can be always found doing some research or learning with my laptop. I like to share thoughts, get feedbacks and spend some time with friends/housemates to relax. I am a pure vegetarian, no smoke and no drinks (sorry) but I like the company of the people when they are drunk.
Hey guys, we are 3 Canadian postgrad students looking for 1-2 other roommates to team-up with for the new year. Will be looking for a 4-5 bedroom house around the macquarie uni area. Very friendly, clean, housemates that spend lots of time studying, enjoying outdoor activities but are always up for a drink or two on the weekend. If you're keen feel free to message, won't start seriously looking into places until december.
