We love to socialize and meet new people, yet respect the privacy within the flat. We cook by ourselves, like to share a meal and a glass of wine from time to time and watch a film together with our flatmates. We don't party much and we do like to have a clean house - were all respect the common areas. We like to keep it fit and during the week we spend most of the time in the office (MacquarieUni area)
I am friendly, accommodating, fun and a tidy person to live with. People say that I am very sweet :) I'm from India and have lived a few years in US and in Dubai. Shared flatmates for many years now and I enjoy being around people who are like minded and openhearted. I love to make friends and spend time with people, but I also need my personal space and time. I'm new in Sydney, just arrived in the country and looking for job opportunities in software. For fun, I love drawing n painting, yoga n meditation, traveling and meeting new people. I'm looking for a homestay/ flatshare with a private furnished room to myself for 2-3 months. If it is a flatshare, then preferably an all female household
I am a part-time worker and full-time student looking for rent. As someone who is very reserved and clean, I am looking for flatmates who share similar values as me. Despite my nature, I can have fun when I want to and on many occasions, I spend a lot of time catching up with friends. Since I will be working and studying simultaneously, I won't be at home majority of the time.
Hey, I have been living in Sydney for almost 1 year and still would like to know new people. I always keep things clean and tidy and I'm also friendly. Would love to find a place with great atmosphere and always happy to have a chat and do things with other housemates. If you need your own time, I will stay out of your way. I work full time Monday to Friday so I'll be hardly home. Would prefer to find a place that has airconditioning and is close to the train station or buses that come regularly. I also have a car and need street parking.
Hello ! My name is Visalakshi. I'm 21 years old and I come from India. I'll be starting my masters in Macquarie University next month. I'm a friendly, clean and fun person. It will be convenient if I find a place near the university. Thanks in advance.
Relocating from Perth to Sydney for work. Easy going lad. I will be spending weekdays working in North Ryde starting a new job. I'm pretty social and have lots of interests. Weekends I'm usually out and about/partying. Weeknights I keep it pretty tame and spend a lot of time on Netflix/Gaming. Very clean and respectful of house mates privacy. I don't know a lot of people in Sydney so if there is some social house mates willing to show me around the city that would be a bonus. I'm a home owner myself and handy with maintenance etc. Currently living in a Perth sharehouse with 3 under 24's and have lived in many share houses in the past. Flying to Sydney on the 1st Feb and looking for accommodation as close to this date as possible. I'm a car guy and usually have 2 cars so need somewhere that can accommodate that. Chow. this is the bump line with useless information used to bump me to the top of searches :)
We're simple, friendly and easy going person. We came from Indonesia to study and will stay here around a year. We enjoy hang out and watching movies. We're looking for 2 rooms for me and my cousin.
I am a musician, but not hipster. I am a comedian but not really funny (dad jokes). I like computers, movies and sports. I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term, with people who are sociable and friendly. I don't want to start a new "share house", I want it to be "home". Though I like to cook, I'm not exceptional at it... I'm happy to take turns, or just do our own meals. Similarly I'm happy to eat together or keep to our own.
Im just a simple person with a simple smile. Clean and tidy person and respect privacy. I love to watch anime on my free time, hangout, a happy person to be with but at first shy and quite. I can easily get along with. Hope to meet a friend soon as i am new to Sydney. Have a good time.
Quiet, clean, relaxed and respectful of other's privacy. I have all furnishings (washer, dryer, fridge, lounge, TV + Netflix etc) and am looking at starting a shared 3BR house. I am a student and get an additional income stream from another source. Looking for like-minded females in their 20s or 30s who would be interested in sharing a place. I mostly keep to myself but also happy to share an occasional glass or two of wine.
I am starting work in Pymble so looking for a room in surrounding areas. I am a quiet female who enjoys my own space and also likes to socialize with others. I am clean and respectful and am well organized and take pride in my surroundings. I will be working full time and will be away from the place for the majority of the day when my full time work starts. I am from Ireland and moved to Australia 5 years ago. I also have my own bedroom furniture which includes a queen bed and other furnishings so looking for an unfurnished room

Easy going, open minded chap. I work in the building industry six days a week, sometimes seven & school one night per week so I study a fair bit :-( . If you break things I can fix it! I enjoy the gym, cooking, eating, music (I come with headphones), more cooking & eating. Bit of a clean freak but not too much
I (Fiona) am a full time nurse, which means i have shift work so try to keep noise to a minimum if i'm up early or home late. I accept feedback and problems. Always enjoy a good laugh! I have a few home items such as fridge, washing machine and couch. Damien works in retail at a gaming store, also easy going and flexible with everything. Damien and i have been friends for 3 years and happy to meet new people and have whoever around the place. We both own motorbikes.
I'm Brazilian, I'm a teacher and I'm moving to Sydney on Feb 13th to study at Macquarie University. I'm looking for a single room with private bathroom (if possible) close to the uni. I'm a very respectfull, organized and tidy pearson. I'm calm, quiet and easygoing. I'm a backpacker and I'm passionate about traveling.
I'm an engineer working in technical marketing. Recently moved to Sydney from Manila but I’m not exactly new to Australia. I'm easy going, clean and very sociable but I like have private time also. I do a bit of photography and filmmaking on the side so I’m pretty much preoccupied on weekdays. Weekends are spent outdoors or hibernating at home. Prefer to find a room in an apartment but I’m also down to team up to start a new lease. I’m flexible with move in dates as I have only a week’s notice period right now. Cheers!

We are quiet, courteous and clean. We enjoy good conversation and a bit of telly but are not ultra social. We work hard and are good people. We don't drink, smoke or have people over. Depending on what you have on offer, we can be flexible with price.
Hi we're four girls looking for a house/flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for a year. We are students here, doing our post graduation. We keep the place clean and are accommodative. The accomodation should preferably be near the train station ( max walk of 12 mins ). Please message if you have a suitable furnished place with bills included in the rent. Thank you :)
Hey there, I'm going into my final year of my BSc at Macquarie Uni and would like to move to somewhere near campus so I can knuckle down and crush it this year! Because of this I'm not looking for a party flat, ideally somewhere quiet where I can get work done. Of course this doesn't mean I don't want to socialise, I'd love to become good friends with my flatmates :) I'm vegetarian (most of the time anyway) and am happy to cook clean etc for myself. I'll probably go home most weekends in north west Sydney to see my family and friends.
I am a full-time worker in Business/IT and going to university to study IT & Law. Work and university are based in Macquarie so ideally I would like to move into a three bedroom stylish/modern apartment with two other participants in the surrounding suburbs. I am a very neat person and like to keep things clean. Even though I have a high work-load, I do get turned up on weekends, enjoying the company of friends and beers while watching Rick and Morty. I appreciate weeknights as being quiet nights except for special occasion. I am happy moving out with both males/females under the age of 25 as long as you're a clean person and not a weirdo. I'm not really interested in moving out with couples (break-ups and lease issues aren't worth it). I'm looking at securing a place before/around the time my current lease runs out in March and I can also provide essential furniture/appliances If you are interested in teaming up with me you can contact me and we can meet up and have a coffee then potentially look into the right property together.
Hi All, I run an electrical services company, looking for a short term share house opportunity for short term (4 - 5 weeks in Febuary). I have moved into a place in Kingsford but am required to wait it out until the room becomes available. In my spare time I play a lot of golf, even though I am not that good. I do fairly long hours and work hard so I don't usually spend too much time at home though I enjoy weekend drinks in the sun with housemates.
I am young man working fulltime coming to Sydney. I am looking to share accommodation or rent a space together. i am easygoing , Sociable, flexible, respects other's privacy and very open minded and considerate towards people and their backgrounds.
Just a little about myself: I'm 18, Im in my second year of my Education degree at Macquarie University. I also work part-time (well over 30 hours a week), I am a rather sociable individual, in my free time i like going to bars and the occasional club with my friends. Please note: I do have a boyfriend who may occasionally spend the night with me, he keeps to himself and like myself is very clean. I like a good chat, however i will respect your alone time and privacy in every sense, as i'd hope you would mine. Some Things i like to do: Watch the A-league, Cook, Watch the NRL, Have BBQs and get togethers with friends, play soccer, and have the occasionally drink in social situations. What i'd expect from my house mate is that they clean up after themselves, as i would, that we get along and have a mutual respect for one another and our respective guest.
Hi there, I am a hardworking student at Macquarie University who until recently worked as a Business Analyst in Martin Place. I am taking some time off to focus on University, but I teach Advanced English HSC over the weekends. My life is full and busy and I enjoy keeping a positive attitude throughout it all. I am tidy, respectful and come with excellent references. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, running and anything outdoors. I would love to find a place close to a National Park for this reason. Ideally, I am seeking a private, furnished room with no pets (I am allergic) which is within walking distance or close bus ride to Macquarie University. I would be fine with travelling a little further if the room is close to Lane Cove National Park :) Hoping I can find a quiet place that lets me relax and unwind and get a good nights rest for the working day! Cheers :)
Hi, I work in IT mobility solutions. I have lived in Germany and States before moving to Sydney. I dont drink or smoke. Am a foodie but workout regurlarly to counter all the extra calories. I am allergic to pets.
I'm a very neat and quiet flat mate, easy to live with. I play the guitar sometimes, but not loudly! I love pets if you have any. I'm moving from Bangalore (India) to Sydney to do my masters in Marine Science at Macquarie University, so I'm looking for a place to stay for around one semester for now.
Hello, my name is Huy. I’m 22 year old, originally from Vietnam. I’m coming to Sydney to study for my Master’s degree in Accounting at Macquarie University this mid-February and looking for a place to stay. I’m clean and tidy, easy going and friendly. I’m a bit quite, so I respect privacy and personal space pretty much. At the same time, I am open to any opportunities to talk and have fun with others, become friends with my roommates who can help each other out when needed.
Hi! We're a newly wed couple, both engineering/IT professionals in their late 20s from the Philippines. We're easy going, friendly, and totally respect the privacy of others. We're looking for a tidy room with heating and air conditioning. Preferred to have our own bathroom/ensuite but it's not a deal breaker. We can consider a shared bathroom, as long as the bathroom is clean. We are looking at an initial 3-6 months rent, but could extend up to a year if we liked the place.
We are a laidback young couple. We're at work a fair bit, and when we're at home we like to play board games or just veg out with some Netflix. One of us is still studying, but I usually do my study at a library so I won't be at home shushing everyone :) We have lots of books and a small collection of board games you can borrow! We don't operate on weird hours (however we occasionally have early morning work starts during a particular season). We are saving up to take a little holiday so we don't go out as much atm, but usually we like to go to the movies, go out to eat, go to comedy shows or even go on a long drive/day trips. We are not "model home" tidy, but we do love to keep our home clean (sweeping/vaccuming, mopping etc.). We mostly keep any clutter contained to our room though (this usually happens during exams! D:). Free to a good home!
We are a couple planning to start living in Sydney area for the next 3 years. I am originally from California, and Christine is from France. Met in Earth Science department in North Carolina USA 2 years ago. Continuing rock research at Macquarie in February 2017 for PhD program. Among a few things we enjoy the beach, backpacking, biking, cooking and eating. We hope to find a place that has access to public transit or "bikeability" to explore the city as well as for daily commute. Interested in a studio, but open to team ups, or other living situations. Looking for short term (2weeks - 1 month) as well as long term housing (6 months or more). Feel free to contact me with any questions, ideas, or advice. Best, Jonathan and Christine
Hi everybody, my name is Putra Prasada, from Bali, currently the new international student in Macquarie Uni, love to laugh and make jokes, movie goer, sports lover, love to bbq and read comics That's all from me, i hope I'll find the right flatmates sooner or later Cheers
I am a 28yo guy from New Zealand doing my PhD in geology at Macquarie University. I will be starting my 3rd year having just got back from an exchange studying in Germany. I enjoy sports and the outdoors. I am polite, tidy, relaxed, respectful, and responsible.
I am an easy going person and love to have people around me. I like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy. I can have conversation on any topic with any person and keep things interesting.. I love sports and like to watch TV. I was born and raised in India, spent last 14 years of my life living in Tokyo, Chicago and now in Sydney.
I get along with all sorts of people. I'm relaxed and realise there are really no big deals in life. My work is IT, but I'm also active in sport in my free time. I have 3 gorgeous kids, but they are building their own succesful lives, I often visit them...I love kids! Importantly I'm exceptionally tidy and love a neat home, but without being the tidy 'policeman' ;) I'm certain you know what I mean. I'm a quiet person by nature, and am comfortable on my own, but that doesn't mean I don't like to see others have fun - and maybe, you might want me to join the party. Living with someone is just so easy, and so relaxed if people talk, compromise, and...chill. ;)
My name is Hien, I'm a Vietnamese girl. I'm looking for a room to rent from February 2017 when I will start my Master course at Macquarie University. I am a careful, tidy and easy-going person. As it's my first time in Australia, I really hope that I could find a place to live which will bring me the best experience of Australia during my study, with lots of fun and good friends, safe and comfortable accommodation. If possible, please contact me through here Thank you and look forward to hearing from you soon. Best wishes! Hien
Hi, I'm Yave. Hard to pronounce? replace D with Y in Dave and u'll make it. After I was given Subclass 476 visa (Skilled qualified graduate visa) around 4 months ago, made it to this lovely country as fast as possible and now I'm happy. 4 months of both happy and sad days and having some experience in a country in which I knew no one then when I moved has been amazing. This country helped me feel ALIVE again. I'm a 32 yo Environmental Engineer and specialized in Air Quality Engineering in the best university in my country: University of Tehran A few words might describe me more easily (as a flatmate): Experience: 8 years experience living in shared accommodations of different types Personal Characteristics: caring, tidy, clean, sometimes talkative n sometimes quiet (depends to others), Job: 1) installing automated irrigation systems 2) Kitchen hand 3) semi-pro Poker player Appearance: black hair, black eyes, 5' 5'', slim Hobbies: Hanging around, watching films, listening to music. I might start surfing or Kayaking as well. I wanna: find flatmates who feel happy and comfortable with each other. I don't wanna: waste time finding another place only cuz my mates can't understand and respect each other enough. Things I cannot tolerate: - Know-it-all / sarcastic / illogical / sexist / racist / impolite people - any messy shared area specially the kitchen - dirty bathtub and toilet - people who either DO NOT TALK or TALK RUDELY when they have any problem with something related to me
Heya, I am moving over from Perth to pursue post-grad study, and looking for some friendly housemates to help make my stay in Sydney the best it can be! I will be studying full time, however I am easy going and still love being social :) I am clean and organised, and will bring a fun a friendly vibe to your house. Looking to move over in feb 2017 before I start uni, but am quite flexible on the dates!
Friendly and easy going student at Macquarie University. I've been looking for a room for a few weeks and finding it difficult to find something reasonably priced that isn't in a terrible location or living in someones home with rules. Wanting to find a place with other students or young professionals. If you're interested in a team up and have similar circumstances to me please contact me!
I am Ali from Pakistan and moving to sydney soon will most probably fly on 9,11 or 13 jan ( still waiting for confirm date which will be 1 out of these 3) to get my degree in criminology from macquarie university now i am looking for a place for myself to live in

I'm a chilled, laid back person. Easy going, love to have a good chat and laugh. Croatian background, working at Macquarie Uni Hospital. I'd prefer a 2bed unit and not living with couples but rather one laid back person.
I'm a science student at Macquarie university and hence prefer a place nearby. I enjoy socialising and bonding with my housemates but I also like to have my own space. I cook most of my meals and like to keep it clean.
I'm a very clean, tidy, organized and quiet guy. I have a full-time job and would spend most of the rest of my time roaming around and discovering places. I'm interested in travel, photography, and fitness activities such as running, walking, crossfit, and yoga. I try to live a healthy life as much as possible. Professionally, I'm in the IT domain working in the software development industry as a Technical Architect. I'm looking for a place around Macquarie Park, or with easy access to Macquarie park. I care mostly about having my own room, bathroom, internet connection, and overall quiet and clean environment.
I'm a Canadian moving to Sydney to begin my graduate program at Macquarie University. I'm going to be busy with school but excited to meet new people and explore the city! Living with a roomate or two would be ideal preferably within 30min walk of Macquarie. I also enjoy being active and love food.
Hi, I'm a nice Frenchie, easy going, I like meeting new people. I love food and spending time with friends. I'm a little bit crazy when you know me but I'm reasonable and really responsible. Student at Macquarie Uni and working at the same time, I need a quiet environment as well.
Hi, I’m Alec, I’m 20 and a web developer from Hervey Bay, Qld. I’m relocating to Sydney at the end of the year and will be working from home full-time for my current employer. I’m also a runner and lead a fairly healthy lifestyle with training most days. I love to be outdoors whether that is running, hiking, biking, traveling, kayaking… Anything adventurous that gives me a break from working on the computer. I’m looking for a place which offers a reasonable sized room and flatmates that don’t mind me getting up early in the morning. As for location, I’d prefer to live in North Ryde or in one of the surrounding suburbs as this is where I’ll be training.
