Finished uni about 6 months ago and just started working in the city. I have lived in Sydney my whole life. Polite and considerate of others. I live clean, tidy and I try to stay organised. I'm never in the way but always available to a good chat and a laugh. I like to take advantage of the weekends, heading out, seeing my friends or family, because the week is almost always a grind. I also play soccer, but I'm not any good at it. Looking forward to moving closer to work to make my life easier on those early start/late night days! Cheers :)
Details about me includes: - name: James Ray; - date of birth: 10/10/1992 (age 24 as of March 2017); - occupation: technical support engineer at Sungrow part-time (averaging about three days a week), and learning C++ and other programming skills to use for local electricity trading with the blockchain; - industry: renewable energy; - Background Nationality: Australian Citzen (born in Katoomba, grew up in Springwood and Winmalee, been in Sydney since I started studying in 2011—finished B Eng in 2014) - Days and times for meeting, discussions and viewing: preferably on any day that I'm not working for Sungrow (Monday and Tuesday, sometimes other weekdays); I don't drink or smoke. I'm a vegan. I try to avoid imposing my views on others, especially if they don't seem like they'd be receptive or interested in my views. (Doing so is generally a waste of time, I would be better off working on changing myself). As of the 11th of March 2017, I'm working three days a week as a technical support engineer at Sungrow, and learning C++ to use for development of local electricity trading with the blockchain on other weekdays. My work days at Sungrow have frequently varied between two, three and five days per week, depending on demand and staff availability. I do my best to follow Self-Realization Fellowship teachings, meditate and go to a chapel every week (or a few times per week) in Surry Hills for group meditation, listening to a service reading, and chanting. For more information about me, Currently I live in Surry Hills. I want to live closer to work, and so that I can live somewhere that is quieter than where I currently am (one of my flatmates is particularly noisy, and the traffic is also noisy). I'm looking for a place to stay for the long term. Ideally, the place will: - have a furnished room with a single bed, chair, desk, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. I'm open to sharing a room so long as the rest of my preferences are met; - have storage space for two bikes (I may be able to get rid of one); - be quiet (ideally no speakers with TVs, computers, music, where tenants use earphones or wireless headphones); - be clean (no problems with pests such as cockroaches, ants, etc.), in reasonable repair (e.g. no leaking roofs, flyscreens so that mosquitoes don't get in), and secure; - have access to a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and free laundry (i.e. not a washing machine where you put coins in); - have fast, reliable internet that has a data limit that is always higher than the data usage (I don't use a lot of data as I don't watch many videos, download music, or play games); - have some bare soil to put two compost bins on (I make sure it doesn't smell by using a lid and covering it up with leaves or the like, and I don't put fecal matter or urine in) and ideally have some gardening space; - have access to sunlight; - have a landlord who is courteous, willing to do repairs if needed, or failing that, to let tenants do repairs or minor retrofits (like adding flyscreens, wall bookshelves, ceiling fans, external roller blinds, hooks or screws in walls or furniture to hang things); - ideally sharing with spiritually minded, meditative, non-smoking, non-drinking, vegetarian/vegan, conscientious people; - be preferably close to Milsons Pt. Surry Hills is also OK, however Milsons Pt is preferred as of March 2017, as that is where I work; - payment available by bank transfer. Payment in cash only is something that I do not prefer due to tax evasion, inconvenience and insecurity.

Looking for a furnished private room/place to move into ASAP for six months to infinity. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. LGTBQI friendly, animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station. Born in Australia but moved away and having been living abroad in Hong Kong and New Zealand up until 2015. I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Traits I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise and privacy and just being generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a penthouse apartment in a hotel, flatting with singles and couples (straight & gay) and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
Hi! I recently moved back to Sydney after working in London for a couple of years and am looking to rent a room within ~30 mins commute of the CBD. I currently work full time for a fund manager, so it would be great to find a place that is easy to get a full night's sleep without too much disruption during the work week...but weekend parties are fine!
Young Canadian couple looking for a place to stay while working in Sydney. We're here on 457 visas and will be calling Sydney home for at least the next year. Previously we lived in Western Canada, fell in love with the outdoors, decided to hike 3,000km along the length of New Zealand, found new careers in Sydney.
I'm easygoing, tidy and respectfull person. I like a healthy lifestyle. On the weekends, I am usually out. I'm looking for nice and clean room with ensuite or own bathroom close to the public transport (train station) and shopping center.

Clean, hygenic, easy going man, can do my own thing or happy to socialise. Like to keep the place tidy and not have dishes etc. lying around. Hey there! If you are looking for a tidy, organized, mature, social, respectful and positive teamplayer you have found one. I'm a 31-year-old Finn and will be starting work in North Sydney in April. I'm thus looking for a room (private) as near to it as possible. I'm very passionate about dancing and like singing too, but don't do the latter in the shower ;). You can also count in communication, languages, (future) technology, science, sustainability and neurology as other interests of mine. I don't smoke or consider myself as too much of a cook either so am able to keep smoke out of the kitchen too :D. I'm not a partyer, the energy for that is wasted on exercise and working during the daytime, but I do enjoy a salsa night out every now and then. And when enticed, a beer/wine with flatmates is always welcome. I have a recommendation letter from my former landlord in Finland and you can also check references about me as a guest from AirBnB or scoop on my profile on Facebook. Better yet, give me a ring and do a second degree in person :)
Hiya! My name is Emily, I'm 19 and from the UK. I'm moving to Sydney on the 8th April and will be looking for both a job and somewhere to stay. I look forward to hearing from you soon :-)

My name is Luke and I am a full time accountant working in North Sydney. I enjoy fitness, socialising, music and attending gigs. My family live in the southern highlands so often I am visiting them on weekends. I enjoy housemates who are up for a chat after work every so often and enjoy socialising when at home. I don't enjoy house parties as such, but always up for some random fun! My current lease ends on 24th April and I may be looking to move to a new place. Have lived with housemates for the last 10 or so years and understand what it is like to be clean and respect each other's property. Looking forward to what comes!
Relaxed, reliable, considerate housemate, looking for a room in a sharehouse with likeminded people, and open to teaming up. I'm social, into travel, snowboarding, and I'm an amateur stand-up comic. I work full-time in policy at Optus by day, and I tend to have a fair bit on in the evenings. I like to stay active playing soccer, tennis, squash or rockclimbing. I also enjoy social boardgames over a couple of drinks, or heading out to comedy gigs, theatre or art exhibitions. * Don't need a carspace, but need to be near a train station. * Not looking to live with couples or children. * For team-ups - I have access to most of the furniture needed to set up a new home. (I also have another ad on here for the house I'm moving out of... I'm helping the landlord find new tenants).
I'm originally from Melbourne and am a young working professional moving to Sydney. I enjoy good music, great food, a cold beer and fun company. I'm tidy and would happily have meals with housemates.
We are easy going couple, who are responsible, hardworking and clean. We do not make parties at home so we are quiet. We both are students from Lithuania, Europe. If you have any questions feel free to ask : )
My name is clare. A postgraduate psychology student who loves health, fitness and meeting new people. I've just started a new position with Northern Sydney Local Health District and will be working part-time across a number of different hospital sites. I'm friendly, social and house trained haha (just to clarify...I love cooking, am tidy and respectful of other flatmates & more than happy to help with cleaning etc). I always enjoy meeting new people but also respect other peoples space and privacy (we all need our down time to recharge!). I don't smoke but do enjoy a cheeky drink on the weekend. I'm looking for a property that has it's own ensuite/bathroom and although I love animals I'm allergic to cats. I enjoy the movies, theatre, fitness and experiencing different cuisines/restaurants in Sydney, in fact I'm hoping that whoever I end up living with would become a lifelong friend. Clare x

Hey, I am a 31 (almost 32) year old single young professional who is relocating from Newcastle to Sydney for work for 12 months, starting approx. start of April 2017. I work as a lawyer for a NSW state government department in Newcastle, and am taking on a slightly different role in Sydney CBD on secondment. I will probably be working a lot, but also love being active (running, gym, exploring), good food, wine and coffee, and meeting new people. I am excited for a 12 month adventure back in Sydney where I have lived before but not for a number of years! I will likely return to Newcastle on a number of weekends with things on etc, however I am also excited to get back into the Sydney lifestyle. I am clean, considerate of others and respect other people and their things. Please get in touch if you think I could be a good fit! Cheers

We are a couple both working full time in Sydney and we are looking for a place to stay for our last 6 weeks in Sydney. We've lived in lots of house shares before and we are clean, sociable and friendly.
IT professional female in her early 30s. About me I eat and live healthy. Hit the gym at least 5 times a week. I have been in Sydney in the past for 7 years. During my free time I spend time reading, watching movies/series, shopping and socializing with friends. I am respectful to other people's spaces, usually I keep to myself. However, do not mind sharing a light chat with my flatmate. I cook mostly over the weekends and like to keep my home clean and tidy. You can say I am a house proud female but not OCD. Would prefer to share the place with female flatmates.
Hi, I'm Madi, 24 years old. I work in media and communications Monday to Friday in the CBD. I love spending time with my friends but also don't mind a few quiet nights in with Netflix and a glass of wine.
Hey there, I'm a 19 year old guy from Munich, Germany. I finished school last year and like nearly everybody hear in Germany, I want to travel around in New Zealand and Australia. Luckily, I managed to get an internship at a shipping line in Sydney (Pyrmont) from 3rd April until the 30th of June, so I'm able to improve my english skills and gain some work experience. For this period of time I search for a furnished room with some nice mates to talk and to hang out with. :) I'm an easy going person and easy to get along with. In my freetime I'm mostly hanging out with friends, watching TV-series and movies or playing computer games. Feel free to write me a message or an e-mail, if you're still looking for a roommate and think that we could get along with each other quite well. Thanks for reading and hopefully contacting me :) (I'll be in Sydney around the 26th of march)
This is Javier (30) from Argentinian/Italian background, recently graduated in Sydney and planning to stay long-term working in my profession. I am very polite and respectful, love super tidy apartment (everything in order, clean kitchen/dishes, things in the right place is super important). I am also cheerful, very easy to get along with, and able to talk about a wide range of topics if time and moment allows. When contacting me, please tell me a bit about flatmates (age, gender, nationality). Cheers, Javier
I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room preferably with own bathroom or one shared with another female. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded people, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am a AAA rated engineer and take construction design contracts from agencies. Most of my work can be done on my own computer. I tend to rise at 7am, breakfast, make lunch sandwiches and then go to work. My workplace varies - sometimes a clients office, a library, a coffee shop or other social work space and sometimes from home. Contracts may be anywhere between a week and 2 years in length. I have confirmed work in Sydney until 8th May; thereafter my contracts may enable me to stay in Sydney or may require me to move. Its not predictable but I can say that my physical location does not matter for most of the work I do and that I shall endeavor to stay in Sydney. I am flexible on location - any suburb within the region roughly bounded by the north and east coasts of Sydney, Ashfield in the west and the airport in the south. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
Hey future flatmate/s!! My name is Liv and I am looking for my next place to call home. I am 26 years old and I work in a Digital Agency in St Leonards. I think we will get along great if you: A. Do Jane Fonda workouts with me while listening to me yell "I can't do it Jane" D. Someone who would be up for going for a night of drinking and dancing would be a plus also If you match or come close to the criteria, GREAT! I also love my down time as well, I am tidy and I like to crack jokes/puns/dad jokes and laugh at myself. I have a dog if you would like me to bring her if not that is more than fine as she is living like a princess at my parents at the moment. I look forward to hearing from any potentials!
Living in shared accommodations in the UK, France, Spain, Canada and Australia I am a great and respectful flatmate. My perfect home is a calm and friendly place with open-minded, friendly flatmates. Preferably females only. I love traveling, languages (speaking 4), learning about different cultures, volunteering, being in nature and dancing mostly Salsa. I am a social person but I also like my quiet me time. If my flatmate turns out to become a friend that would be a big plus ,-)

Hello, I'm Mitch, 34yrs, Australian, a 2016 arts graduate from University of Sydney and now a full time worker. I spend as many afternoons/evenings as I can at the gym, and I like to pursue my dilettantish interests in music and literature when time and energy allows. I'm clean, mature, respectful and sane (so far as any of those categories can be assumed to bear a shared meaning between strangers on the internet who, for all they both respectively know, may have completely different notions of cleanliness, maturity, respectfulness and sanity). Still, i think most people would find me pretty easy to get along with, so do feel free to get in touch. Cheers.
Chill guy, used to smoke but gave it up. (Totally fine with smokers) Working full time for Telstra (Means cheap internet and phone bill) Pretty decent cook, avid skater. I like my own space from time to time but absolutely love meeting new people.
I'm really sociable and like a chat with a glass of wine and cheese but also respect other's privacy. Looking for a place that I can call home, so it's very important to have a great atmosphere between my future flatmates. Let's have a chat to know one another better =D
