I'm easy going, sociable and love to have a laugh. I work full time as a sales manager at a software company and would ideally like to live within 20 minutes of the CBD - so I'm flexible with the location. If teaming up to move into a new property I can provide major items like a washer, dining table and couches. Aiming to move mid-June to early July.
Hi, I'm Meena, 25 years old, I just have relocated from Melbourne to Sydney for work. I work in corporate communications for a consumer goods company. I work out almost daily, generally before work and I usually finish work around 5/6pm. I love food and a good chat. On weekends I enjoy socialising but also enjoy some down time reading a good book or watching a good movie/tv show. I am a neat and tidy person who is respectful of communal areas. I am looking for sociable housemates who are also tidy, respectful and up for hanging out occasionally over a cup of tea/coffee or meals together.
Hi Holly here. Recently moved across the ditch from NZ. Grew up on a little dairy farm there. I work full time and travel a lot for work. So when I am around I like to keep things fairly low key and enjoy the downtime when I have it. Will dabble occasionally in a beer but I do enjoy having my own space and letting other people have theirs. Currently living out of a suitcase and have been for a bit due to my travel schedule so I don’t come with a lot of baggage. Literally. And it means I know how to keep things tidy too. I work as the relief admin manager for Accor hotels pacific currently in the NZ office back across the ditch on the 30th. Down to earth and have a good sense of humour eg. I won’t mind when you mock me or ask me to says fush and chups.
I'm a web developer working full time for a company in North Sydney. I am Australian citizen with Russian background, living in Sydney for almost 7 years now. I like travelling overseas, I go to Russia at least once a year and also love Thailand. Currently living in North Strathfield in a very nice, clean and quiet townhouse near the train station. Looking for a new accomodation as my landlord's cousin has come from overseas and taking over my room. I do play tennis, enjoy gym, I like travelling. I would prefer a nice, clean place where everyone respect each other. I do not cook much and stay at home mostly at night time.
My name is Joseph Sweeney, and I am an Industry Analyst that works for Telsyte, an emerging technology research group. I mainly focus on the games industry analysis and research, and work closely with the Interactive games & entertainment association (iGEA) as well as with the major games companies in Australia, such as Sony PlayStation and Activision\Blizzard. I currently am working part-time, usually working 4 days a week, and I am moving onto full time. I make roughly $2200 a month after tax and super, and my payment period is changing to fortnightly, so roughly $1100 a fortnight. Typical work hours are 8:30am-5:30pm. I am 23 years old, quite chill and considerate of others. I am quite into a lot of nerdy or geeky things, but won’t bring them up if no one is interested. I would probably spend most of my time quietly in my room, but I am still up to chatting and hanging out. I am quite clean around the house, I don’t like to leave stuff around, except for some junk in my room. I do keep my room clean, it just gets a bit untidy before laundry day. I am absolutely up for doing any housework (bathrooms, kitchen etc.) but I won’t clean up other people’s dishes, unless it was a shared cooking meal. I do cook, and I tend to clean up my stuff after I have finished eating. My hobbies includes; Games – mostly PC games, I do chat with friends online when playing together, but I normally try to keep it down, and I don’t play online past 10pm (earlier if need be). Music – I do own several guitars and instruments, but I usually only mess around on my electric unplugged, to not disturb anyone else. I don’t own any sound systems either, and only really listen to things through my earphones. Food – Love food, love cooking and love exploring and seeing what restaurants are good. Also like to indulge in junk food for time to time (probably more than I should). Other notes; I don’t smoke. I don’t drink much, but am still down to hangout when people do. I rarely go out/come back late. My work is in the CBD. I will set my bank account to auto-pay whoever is in charge of the rent money early, so I am never late with rent. I do own a pet pygmy bearded dragon (he was a rescue that my old roommate found, that I took over looking after), but she live in a tank in my room and won’t come out. He does not make any mess or smell and does not make a sound, you will probably forget she is even there. I am allergic to mothballs, so please let me know if you use them. Otherwise I don’t have any other medical needs.
Prefer contact by message or online chat but not by phone call, thanks! 1. I am from China and just graduated from the University of Melbourne, I just came to Sydney 3 months ago. I am now looking for a place to live in more than 3 months. I prefer a fully furnished place with the appliance and facilities in the apartment. The budget is flexible around $400/wk 2. I sometimes like singing at home 3. I usually cook and because I am keeping fit and building muscle so the cuisine is simple and light which is not well-shared. 4. I would like to communicate frequently with the topic about how to improve our relationship as a flatmate. I don't want each of us feels unhappy or uncomfortable with each other's behaviors. I prefer to talk directly about each's concerns. For example, some little stuff such as dishwashing, noise and taking out the trash. We shall make a deal before that and try to compliance that. Once bad things happen, we can communicate immediately. And my English is not very frequent in some ways, please be patient. Thanks!
About to start an events job in North Sydney, just back from Europe. Always happy for a chat and a wine at the end of the day. Clean and tidy. Enjoy being outdoors, go bush walking and camping quite a bit, and also enjoy cooking.
I'm easy going, work full time and study full time so very, very busy - will enjoy the odd night out (Marly Bar or Lo Fi is a go), very clean and sociable, know how to respect privacy and boundaries. I am accustomed to sharing household responsibilities. Love a good festie, coastal walk and movie night, want to move closer to work and uni!
Hi. I am young professional, working full time. I am looking for a room for myself. I am clean, friendly and respectful of others. I like to share occasional drink or watch Netflix with flatmates but if you prefer your own space, I am perfectly fine with that, too. Please let me know if you have anything available. Regards.
Hi There! We are a friendly couple who have been living in Sydney for over 2 years. We are both full time students and part-time workers. I (Luiza) enjoy doing yoga and outdoors activities. While, Vicente is a professional photographer who loves technology (he is actually a computer nerd). We are expecting to live in a quiet and respectful place. Also, we appreciate cleaning and tidying the house, once a week. Thanks
I'm a double degree law and psychology student. I study part-time and work full time at the moment. I work in retail and I'm looking for a job in my current professions at the moment. I enjoy meeting new people, cooking and pride myself in cleaning up after myself and others if necessary. I will spend most of my time either studying or working. I don't smoke and prefer to lead a healthy lifestyle and if you have a dog or pet in the house, that's even better! I like to roller skate, and talk about what's going on in the world. Listening to others is important to me, as is having my own space, reading and exploring. I would love to move in with people who don't take themselves too seriously and are always down to have a good laugh. Because I have a car, parking facilities are essential and I prefer rooms that are unfurnished. UPDATE: I have recently found a home and I am no longer looking for places to rent or live in. This message remains legitimate and permanent until such a time where my circumstances change and the message will be removed.
Down-to-earth Canadian woman looking to live with people who are as laid-back as me. I'm very friendly, out-going and easy and respectful person to live with. I like to keep a good relationship with my room-mates but respect their space. I like to keep busy with events and things to do! I know so far I'll only be in Sydney till October because I plan on moving, but might end up staying in Sydney.
Work in construction management, after a place close by work, that I can come to and relax. I have an interest in design also enjoy going on walks, to the gym, playing footy and fifa! Finally, love to cook with a drink or two when possible.
I am a 32 year old high spirited roomie. I enjoy keeping myself and my surroundings (house) clean. Due to this being my first move I am thoroughly looking forward to not only making this new rent space a place to live but homely enough to feel like I’m home. I enjoy great company, food and wine. Ideally looking for a private room as I would prefer my own space and location close to the train station.
Very tolerant! Really hard to annoy me or bother me i guess hahaha, I’m social myself but also like to do my own thing so Im really respectful and dont mind if people want to be social at home or whether they just want to keep to themselves. I love a good chat, im a great cook :D Really just trying to establish a steady lifestyle, just want to find a nice comfortable place to live where I can build structure for myself and start planning better for my future. All in all just easy to get along with
