Hi there, Im currently based in Melbourne and am making the big leap to Sydney for a job opportunity and to start a new life here. Would love for a room close to the CBD. I'm a friendly, reliable and clean person. Loves occasional chats but I have an independent life as well. As this is my first move here, some cool and nice people to live with would be awesome. cheers.
Looking to live with a positive and friendly person who I can share a meal or glass of wine with on the odd occasion, but who can also respect giving some space. I like to keep things clean, neat and tidy. I'm currently working full time as a workplace relations advisor and studying law part time, so a lot of my time is spent balancing the two. On weekends I usually like doing something active and/or being outdoors (mostly the beach!) or I'll be out catching up with friends and family. I also like quiet weekends too to recharge. Any questions, please don't hesitate ask!
Hey! I'm a laid back guy from Sweden about to do an exchange year at Macquarie University. I consider myself easygoing and flexible, always up for a chat but enjoy my personal space every now and then. Im looking for some nice people to live with here in Sydney during my stay. Don't hesitate to text me if you have any questions. I don't smoke but don't mind if people do. Looking forward to hear from you!
Hey potential flattie! I am originally from Melbourne (don't hold it against me :P) and relocated to Sydney a little over a year ago. I am an engineer currently working in sales/strategy for a Healthcare Consultancy. I am a very easy going, reliable, flexible and most importantly - clean. In my opinion, living with a flatmate is more like sharing a home, as opposed to living in a hotel. This means that I am more than open to occasionally dining together and sharing groceries where appropriate. I will, however, have the utmost respect for your personal space and time. I work relatively late during 'school nights' so I try to get out of the house during the weekends. My weekends are spent outdoors... trying to make the most of the Sydney sunshine. Please feel free to message or call me directly if you would like to get in touch. Cheers, Omkar
We are both 2 outgoing Canadian girls. We are friendly and super easy going to live with and respect our fatemates space and do our own cleaning. We both work in hospitality so our hours are long but not your typical 9-5. In our spare time we love going to the beach, adventuring around the city and going out for drinks. We are calm cool and collected but can also have a lot of fun. Like everyone one here, we love a good weekend in drinking beers or wine on the couch watching Netflix.
I am a friendly, clean and easy going guy, working full time as technology consultant. Enjoy socialising but also respectful of people’s personal space. I am originally from Mexico but have been in Sydney for the last 6 years. Looking for a place to live, either team up or move into a shared place in Sydney CBD and the surrounds. Feel free to message me with any other questions.
I work full time in North Sydney so looking for a place around the area. I pay my bills on time, need some privacy and will respect yours, I am tidy, open, fair, honest and have a good sense of humor - may be off beat at times! I have a pet bird. I understand this is not for everyone. He is tame but can’t go outdoors. He loves attention. He sleeps when it’s dark so he won’t keep you up. I wish for something with some space as most apartments in Nth Sydney are small. Would love a view or have surrounding trees!
We are a clean, polite and friendly couple (Australian male 38, Japanese female 30) moving to Sydney from Tokyo. I am a designer with a background dealing with startups, she is a photographer. We’re both pretty quiet and respectful but still sociable. We both enjoy exploring, finding new places to go. It’s been a while since I have lived in Sydney so I am excited to explore it once again. We hope to meet our new flatmates soon!
My name is Charles,I'm Australian, laid back, easy to get along with and like to have a laugh. I work full time as a Producer and Drone Pilot at the BBC. I'm looking for somewhere to live long term. Cheers Charlie
Live and let live! That's my philosophy in life. I'm an easy going 26 year old from India. I've lived on my own pretty much most of my adult life, so I am fairly independent, and responsible, both towards my surroundings and the people in it. I've lived across the world, having spent most of my life in New Delhi, I've also loved in Washington DC, and Melbourne. Now, I'm moving to Sydney for work. A massive sports fan, so always up for watching soccer and basketball. Also, a fairly decent cook! Love trying new foods, both in terms of eating and cooking!
Missy, 26years old full-time Barista and Matt 31years old Software Development student. We are currently living and working in Canberra but looking to move to Sydney next Sunday (Feb 25th) as Matt's study going to start very soon. We have been living in sharehouses before in Brisbane also Canberra. We tend to keep things to ourselves after working hours but would love weekend drinks to unwind. We both love playing games. We are looking for a non-crowded, clean and with minimum noise private room in a sharehouse, or another person/couple who would do a teamups. As we are both gonna be studying and/or working professionally in Sydney, we would love to, if we find the right place, to stay there long term (at least 1 year) as we don't like moving in and out of a house. Please send us a message if you have suitable listing. Thank you
Joanne here - affable, funny, respectful and considerate individual (of others, their property, and personal space). Enjoys a post-work 🍷 or chai tea and will engage in a spirited conversations too, but similarly respects others' own down-time. Currently living in Melbourne and working as a FT professional (marketer), yet have accepted a new role in Sydney - hence this move 😊 I have a few trips scheduled in Sydney in March, so I could easily arrange a meet-up and inspection - otherwise, open to FaceTime. Suburb-wise, I'm open to any of the areas listed in my profile, or any within the peripherals. Cleanliness and ensuring punctual payment are key tenets for a key tenant; both of which I pride myself on! Now to the 'fun parts': Appreciates a potent coffee, documentaries, non-fiction books (I'll make an exception for Harry Potter!) being outdoors and exercising. Long walks down the aisles at Coles are also my forte! If this aligns with your interests for a housemate, please contact me and I'll respond in a prompt manner. Cheers ✌️
Busy professional who loves her gym training/weightlifting, being active, outdoors and beaches. Pretty easy going, clean and tidy. I like socialising but also need/enjoy my own space. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for new job. I'm initially looking to commit to rental for 3-6 months with view of extending if right fit. Need to establish best location for gym/weightlifting, work and lifestyle.
Hi Everyone, I am a 23 year old full time engineer looking to move out of home and rent for the first time. Born and raised here in Sydney, I would love to take this opportunity to live an independent life outside of home. Generally I am quiet and respectful and sometimes I can be a bit zany in an appropriate manner of course. For fun I like to play guitar, record a bit of music, expand my knowledge through books, workout at the gym, cooking for the gym and playing tennis. I don't mind the odd pub lunch/dinner and beers too. I would be great to live with since I get along with people very well and like to maintain a clean environment too. Also, I can crack out the acoustic guitar and attempt some singalongs if desired.
Hi there! I'm Hayasa, my parents are Japanese and I'm Australian born and raised. I teach at two high schools around the North Shore area, and I'll also be studying my Masters of Commerce part-time at USyd. Something important that I should mention in the beginning of my profile: I play the viola (it's like a larger violin, but not the one you sit down to play for). But- I can practice at work and I'll schedule my practice times while you're away, so hopefully you won't hear a peep. I love to bake (everyone must try my baked cheesecake!), tackle crosswords, and I'm slowly working my towards cultivating my green thumb (if you like fresh herbs and there's enough space, I can bring along my plants for us all to enjoy!). I'm also keen to start running one day, but that day hasn't arrived yet... Other essentials: I've lived with other people before. I'm also in a relationship but my boyfriend lives overseas so it'll only be with me that you'll be living with. I'm clean but I'm not a germaphobe. I shower at night. Sometimes I work on weekends so you might not see me, and other times I might be catching up on emails and doing boring admin stuff. I'm quiet but that doesn't mean I love a good banter and drinks if the occasion arises. I've been an avid cider drinker but I've slowly started to discover beer and I wouldn't mind exploring that more! I also don't smoke. I'm looking to live somewhere long-term, and having my own room. Ideally, I'm looking at a place near a train line (preferably T1 North Shore Line). I can move in at any time. Looking forward to hearing from you! Hayasa
Hey everyone, Well, having lived in Sydney for more than 3 years, I know from experience that tidiness is one of the most important "commodities" that one can offer. I know a lot of people like to say that, but I really am tidy. I am about to finish my Business degree at UTS and then I plan on working full-time. I love sport and anything that involves outdoor activities. I do a lot of CrossFit in the CBD and rock climbing too!
Fun, Socialable and banterous . I am clean, tidy and working full time in hospitality. Looking for like minded people. Love saving up and going to festivals, out for drinks, beach days and bbq's. I enjoy family dinner nights and exploring sydney, kicking back on my nights off with choclate and wine or hitting the gym. I love to maat new people and travel the world. In sydney for the long run and seeking sponsorship.
I'm an easygoing Kiwi girl who has recently moved over to Sydney. I work full-time in the city as a research analyst but am equally happy helping out with household chores or sticking around for a chat (or wine. Both are great). Whilst being available for a kitchen yarn, I give people space and would very much appreciate the same. I will also laugh at all your good and bad jokes (or a bad pun. Appreciate those immensely). Looking for somewhere close to public transport into the city; this is really important for me. My current bus stop gives me the heebie jeebies after dark, so ideally looking for a place that doesn't require mad dashes through unlit areas and composition of mental love notes/last farewell thoughts to family & friends etc ;P it's not that bad but you know, it kinda ruins any possibility of ever watching scary movies again (appalling prospect). Have a pretty busy schedule so I may not be around all the time :) Not into parties or drugs and that sort of lifestyle. Would prefer a female-only household, and not a place where strange guys sleep over all the time. My move date is flexible but I'd love to give my lovely current flatmate as much notice as possible. Love animals, BBC, poorly attempting to salsa (laughable really haha) and the theatre. Reading is a passion and I love gardening. I'll try not to kill plants!
Looking to move early MARCH 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat, an oil heater, a fan on a stand and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, non-drinker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. Not looking to share with anyone who works from home. As I work outside of normal hours, most weekends and most public holidays, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport 7 days a week and on public holidays. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney a few days ago and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
