I'm a PhD candidate in English literature, and I've been in Canberra about 2 years. I like to play table top games, cook, read, go for long walks, and knit. I'm a fairly social person, and I'm looking for someone I can live with in a communal sort of way, rather than seemingly board from.
I'm a fourth year student at the ANU and work part-time. Love cooking and watching reality TV shows. Respects housemates' privacy but also up for a chat. Seasoned housemate. Clean, tidy and quiet. Hobbies include cooking, watching trashy reality TV and sleeping. Looking for: furnished room for a 12 month lease starting in mid-late November 2019 in the inner north of Canberra.
Easy going / tolerant, considerate of others, clean/tidy, full time worker about to start job with ANU. I currently live and work in Melbourne however soon (argh, very soon) will moving to Canberra. I work in IT (applied research support). I am very practical so can fix household problems if they occur. Enjoy getting out riding my bicycle or hiking off in the bush yet also enjoy hanging with friends and participating in robust discussions about what ever topic tickles your fancy.
Hello future housemates! I am a Melbourne gal escaping a corporate job to start a new policy lawyer role in Canberra and to suss out whether the coffee there really is better. Around the house I love cooking, chats and a glass of wine (ideally all at once). Generally, I also spend a lot of time eating, drinking tea, reading, running and exploring. I'm looking for a sharehouse of relaxed, fun people who would hopefully become friends as well as housemates.
House-trained musician looking for other 20yr / 30yr somethings to enjoy share house living together. Have lived in a number of share-houses big and small, from living with 6 people to living with 1. Have lived in the Northern Territory on an assistant teaching placement for 6 months and looking to move into something more permanent back in my home town. Currently living in O'Connor.
Hi. I am a professional and work full time running my consulting business (I am an engineer and a technology/economic analyst). I have lived, studied and worked almost 10 years in the Netherlands, then in Japan and Indonesia. I can easily communicate with people (including new people) but also know how to respect the privacy of others. I am clean, like being tidy, but not too excessive. I do not smoke. I love sports (badminton, volleyball and soccer), cycling, beach and sea-fishing. I love dogs and cats, I can sing and play guitar, and enjoy wine and beer in social occasions. I used to be working with some consulting businesses and the ANU in Canberra. The majority of my current clients are based in around the Canberra City, so staying close to Civic, suits me very well. I travel overseas for business trips a few times a year and actively involved in social and business organisations in Canberra. Living alone is too quiet for me, but living with 3 tenants is too crowded (3 tenants is my last option). So I would like to team up in a two-bedroom house. At this stage, I am looking for an unfurnished property. In my storage, I have already stuff that can be shared (for free) for usage in the dining/lounge rooms such as a set of couch, dining table and chairs, large TV with chromecast, kitchen/cooking equipment, etc. You only need to bring your stuff to be put in your bedroom (incl. bed). All of these are open for discussion.
