I am currently looking for a team up or a room in a share house. I currently work fulltime at UC. I like pets, cooking, netflix, yoga, traveling and learning new things from like minded people. I’ve previously lived in shared housing and understand the need for pitching in to maintain a tidy house. Happy to attend inspections as I am located in Canberra.
Hey! After living overseas for two years, I’m back in Canberra and looking forward to moving out of home. I am one semester away from finishing my degree in Commerce/Public Relations at UC and I love coffee, travel and movies and can’t wait to meet you!
Hello, My name is Olivia; I'm 20 years old and am currently living in the far North Coast. I am presently studying Forest Science and Management at SCU but have enrolled in electives to study Forensic Science at UC. I'm moving to Canberra in December and am looking to move into a sharehouse December/January. I'm not fussy when it comes to overall house quality and finesse. Looking for a stay time of 6 Months min, max 12-month. I'm looking to do part-time work. A room, 160$ a week in rent or lower. I have a car. I'm a clean and tidy person, non-smoker, I enjoy bouldering, the environment, and having a beer with new and exciting people. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
Hey! I'm Krystal and I'll be moving to Canberra for full-time work. I'm a super easy-going, flexible and friendly person looking for a homey place to live. I love cooking, hiking, drinking copious amounts of tea, eating (laksa, dumplings!) and travelling (a lot). I'd love to join a friendly and social sharehouse who are all for boardgames/movie/dinner nights. I also have many ideas for a veggie patch/herb garden! Please note: I’m not looking to move until 1st Feb.
Hello! I am a full-time musician who teaches violin at schools in north Canberra and do gigs whenever I can. I've lived in a share house for the past 4 years and would love to move into a social house. My weekdays are pretty busy, but I usually spend the weekends out and about with friends. I'm always up for a drink or a boardgame with my housemates, but also respect their personal space. If I would be a good fit for your share house please let me know - would love to chat! Thanks, Elisha 😊
I'm originally from Sydney and came here for a public service role. I'm looking for a place from about 27th Dec. I'd consider going long-term in a good situation. My main interest is health and well-being, I keep fit, I've studied classical yoga and am slowly heading in that life direction with some side-trips along the way. I like exploring the outdoors, mainly in the cooler months. I probably have a Netflix addiction. I'm easy to get on with and happy to chat about life and be a good housemate, although I'm fairly self-contained and would always have something to research. Or Netflix. I've got a handful of friends in Canberra and would always be happy for more but I'd also not have any expectations about that. I take people as they come, and your home time is probably your chill time too. I can point to some references from a related website if that helps. Feel free to ask anything you like :)
I've recently quit my job to go back to uni full time and am doing two postgrad courses. I'm from Victoria but studying at ANU and will be driving back and forth a lot. I won't be in Canberra for at least 13 weeks of the uni year due to rural placements. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that is within 10mins bike ride of ANU or Questacon. I'll be needing a room from early Feb till approx. Nov but am super flexible. I'd prefer furnished if possible. I would be happy for you to AirBnB my room out while I am not around. Also flexible on price but would prefer to spend less than $200 pw (student life 😔) I love science and learning. I also like hiking and dogs. I also like cooking and bad puns. I love travel and have a few trips booked in next year (somehow have to squeeze them in amongst the study!) I don't mind the occasional social drink but not looking for a house full of party animals. I don't smoke and I am very clean. I like to think I'm easy to get along with, and don't mind watching a movie etc with housemates but I'm not expecting to be your best friend. I previously lived in a 4 bedroom house with 5 other people and a 3 bedroom house with 1 other person, and would prefer less housemates if possible. I will be spending a lot of time studying so will need internet access if possible. My boyfriend would be visiting on occasional weekends but wouldn't be staying long term. I've previously had success with flatmates.com.au so hoping to find somewhere again! Any questions, please ask away!
I am a 21 year old student from Sydney who is moving down to Canberra to begin a PhD at the Australian National University (ANU). I am not particularly fussy about the suburb I move to in ACT, so please feel free to reach out if you're within 20-ish minutes from ANU. I am someone who is very easy to live with as I am very independent, organised, tidy, relatively quiet, but also sociable and easy to get along with. I also do not smoke or drink alcohol. I will be at uni full-time and suspect that I will spend the vast majority of my time there. Ultimately, I am looking for a place to stay where I can sleep, shower, use the kitchen in the mornings and evenings, and be able to relax. I would also enjoy socialising with my housemates here and there too, but am happy to provide people with the privacy and space they need as well. I am looking to spend around $175-$200 (maximum). I am looking for a place to stay for at least the first semester but ideally for the first year (2020). The specific start date for my moving would be the 22nd of February.
Hi! I'm from Sydney moving to Canberra in February 2020 to undertake an APS graduate position. Ideally, I'm looking for one other professional or student to team up and find a 2 bedroom apartment that is close to public transport. I'm open-minded and social as needed. I think I would enjoy hanging out with someone in the evenings or weekends as I'm leaving all friends in Sydney and starting from scratch in a new city! I enjoy games of all sorts, especially those that can be competitive. I'm big on communication so that we can live comfortably in a place with shared up-keep! More than happy to have a chat about anything and be friends rather than just housemates. It would be great if there are any others who will be starting graduate positions next year. Feel free to message me and thanks for reading :)
Hey! My name is Britnee (I was indeed named after britney spears lol), I am a student at UC, canberra born and bred. I just finished up a prep course and am going to be studying Film Production in 2020! I love heels dancing, animals, reading and disney. I try to be environmentally conscious, and I am vegetarian:). I'm clean, mature and easy-going, this is not my first time out of the nest either. I work two jobs also so am a pretty busy gal, I value alone time but I'm really looking for housemates that will be good friends. I love a good girls night or movies night, love a bit of trashy tv (I can also read tarot cards so I'm happy to tell you ya future;), can talk about books for years, and am happy to be a listening ear (I love tea). I would love to have a nice garden and a hammock that's the damn dream. I am considering bringing a much loved cat Banjo (fluffy tuxedo cat, very shy) into the home so if you love animals that's great:), shoot me a message, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or hit up my instagram @britneemary if you want to meet up or chat and see if we can find a great house! 😊 P.s I dont smile in pictures but I promise I'm smiley 😂
