As of now, I'm looking for accommodation between July-December 2019. After my seasonal work in the summer, I'll look for accommodation on a one-year basis. Hello Everyone! My name is Michael and I'm looking for a room for July 2019! I study full-time at ANU while working part-time on Lonsdale Street. Whenever there is a winter or summer, I try to venture out to teach skiing and snowboarding as a coach. I'm pretty active in sports and maintain my fitness by going to the gym every day. I enjoy prioritizing work and being busy. So I do enjoy personal space but I also enjoy being social. I am very flexible in terms of living arrangements. If in need, I can always offer ski lessons haha! I've lived in share housing arrangements for the past 3 years so I am also familiar with different standards of household expectations. If you would like to have me as a sharehouse/friend, please don't hesitate to send me a message!
When I started my Under-graduation three years ago in Delhi, India, I was an uptight, eager beaver box-checker with a mad drive for working all the time. I was also awfully apolitical, with no understanding of how privilege and exclusion shape our lives. All of that has changed now. I have also become acutely aware of my privilege. I'm still grateful for all the personal growth that the last three years have given me. College has emboldened me to be more secure, to resist the impulse to take up space, and to find a middle way between being idealistic and cynical. More importantly, College has taught me to value my friends and family over everything else. Becoming a well-adjusted adult takes work, apparently. Who knew?! I love hiking and have done a lot of expeditions in Himalayas and Andes Ranges and will never say no to a trekking trip. In Canberra I'll be pursuing post graduation in International Relations (Advance) and I’m Usually always up for a chat and a glass of wine. Also not much into gaming but I'm always up for a match or two in FIFA/NBA.
I have recently completed my master's degree from the ANU, and am looking for a place for about four to six months in Canberra. I don't smoke, and I keep my place clean. Ideally, I'm looking for an all female accommodation.
Hey guys, I am Saskia from Dresden, Germany. Back home I am studying environmental engineering. I will be in Canberra for 3 months doing a research internship at UC. To make the best of it, I am looking for a place with a spare room (preferably furnished) near my working place. It would be great to have communicative people around me who are as open to sports and activities as I am. Just a few things I like: bouldering yoga snowboarding hiking cats partys photography and art of any kind gardening and plants cooking, preferably vegetarian During the past years I have gained a lot of experience in shared flats in Germany and Canada. I am a respectful and clean housemate and can totally understand if someone is busy or want to have one's peace. Nonetheless, I would be more than happy to find housemates I get along well with and who also might turn into friends. https://www.facebook.com/saskia.schwer.9

Hello there! I'm a 21 year old aspiring Earth Scientist who will be in Canberra for 3 months from May to July to take on an internship at the ANU. I'm into reading novels, watching TV shows, game a bit and enjoy travelling and just generally like going to new places. I keep clean (most of the time), don't smoke, and will respect your privacy. I am currently looking for a place at not too far a distance from the ANU. Basic amenities like Internet, Washer and a Kitchen would be necessary. Open to sharing rooms should such a circumstance arise. Also, I'd be staying for 3 weeks from 6th-26th July. If you're easy going and are kinda into the same things I am, then we will get along pretty well!
Hi everyone, my name is Carla and with my husband Cris are looking for a new place to live. We are a Chilean young couple (28 yo) that have been married for four years and together for eleven years. At the moment I am working full-time in the city as retail manager and Cris is finishing a PhD at the ANU. We are willing to pay up to 450 per week for a full flat or an apartment and we would love to move in on the 19th of July. Please let me know if you are interested
Hi I'm Jess! I've just moved to Canberra from Sydney for work and I am looking for a place to stay. :) I'm a full time working professional (policy/law) and I also am a yoga teacher - and I'm always happy to teach housemates! I'm pretty outgoing and social, but also appreciate my "me time"/quiet time. :) I love cooking, lead a very active lifestyle, I am a non-smoker, and have a lot of hobbies including dance, yoga, gym, hiking, reading, writing, etc. If you think I'd be a good match, I'd love to hear from you!
I’m a pretty down to Earth and considerate person, I’m very social and generally get along with everyone. I work full time in the public service, enjoy a good book and quite the exercise keen bean, particularly running. I currently live in a single apartment, but am keen to downsize and move a little closer to work (24 kilometres a day on the bike is proving a little tough).
I am a very quiet and clean person! I love my alone time but love to hangout and socialise with my housemates. I love live music and spending time with my puppies! I work full time and am in the process of getting a second job! I love books and plants and am a huge coffee addict!
Another guy that moved to Canberra to work in the public service. Quiet, clean and considerate. Enjoy going out and also just chilling at home. Love to socialize but I respect everyone's alone time. Need a pet-friendly place for one litter trained, desexed, well behaved and very cute cat. Feel free to shoot me a message!
