Hey there, I'm Sami! I have recently moved back back to Canberra after living in Melbourne for two years. Despite having just moved back I've decided I'm well overdue for some travel so I am looking for a short term rental (ideally 2 - 3 months) while I save up and practice my Spanish before heading over to Latin America. I love plants, music, film photography, colourful clothing, big earrings, travelling, cooking, being outdoors and spending time with friends. I am also very passionate about environmental sustainability and was about to go into my second year studying this at ANU before deferring so that I can travel! I'm really lovely to live with because I am super accommodating! I am very friendly so more than happy to be in a social home environment but am also totally happy to be in a more quiet and reserved home. I am tidy, non-smoker and will always pay rent and bills on time.
Looking for home for around 12 months with sweet scruffy dog. Like outdoor activities, travel often, grow vegies when possible, friendly but also independant. Like to live in a home full of ideas and conversations, rather than football :)
Hi, I am a 23 year-old male. I am moving from Tasmania to Canberra in April to start fulltime work as an economics research officer for the government. I am tidy, fairly quiet, easy to get along with, and a responsible person (you can count on me to do my share of the chores). I enjoy cycling and watching TV shows in my free time.
Hello there! I'm a 21 year old aspiring Earth Scientist who will be in Canberra for 3 months from May to July to take on an internship at the ANU. I'm into reading novels, watching TV shows, game a bit and enjoy travelling and just generally like going to new places. I keep clean (most of the time), don't smoke, and will respect your privacy. I am currently looking for a place at not too far a distance from the ANU. Basic amenities like Internet, Washer and a Kitchen would be necessary. Open to sharing rooms should such a circumstance arise. If you're easy going and are kinda into the same things I am, then we will get along pretty well!
Sensible, respectable, responsible individual looking for a place around civic or south side. I enjoy conversing with my flatmates over a glass of wine, like to watch Netflix and respect my housemates' independence and privacy. Professional, postgrad educated. Last but not least, neat and tidy and can cook an outstanding goulash :)
Hi there! I'm looking for a place with likeminded young professionals who also love to share a good meal and a wine (coffee lovers would be a bonus). I'm currently looking for full-time work as I've recently returned from living overseas. Very respectful of people's privacy and space, clean and organised and super friendly!
I'm a PhD candidate beginning my next 3 years of study at ANU in the field of materials engineering. I am a quiet, clean housemate that enjoys reading, watching tv shows and movies. Socialising with others and cooking meals together makes the living situation more fun! The occasional party would also be nice.
Hi everyone, I am looking for a room with share/private bathroom for 2 months. Mi name is Pabla, I'm from Colombia, a 35 yo woman. I used to work as Marketing manager in multinational companies in my country and I am working part time in the city and studying a master in the UC. I am VERY clean and organized. I respect so much people's privacy. I prefer quiet spaces and sometimes share a dinner or a glass of wine with my housemate. Happy to hear from you :) We prefer a place in Dickson, Lyneham, Turner, Kingston and the City.
I am an Undergrad from India and will be visiting ANU from May To July as an intern. I am looking for a place to stay for the same period. I am friendly and responsible and will keep the house neat and tidy.
Moved to Canberra to work in APS. Unfortunately, I have found out I'm allergic to cats, so am looking to move apartments in the next four weeks. I'm a clean and organized person who likes to cook. I'm a friendly, relaxed person who up for a chat or a night out but equally happy for a quiet night in.I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra and meeting new people.
I am a respectful and reliable flatmate with a friendly and positive disposition. I am always up for a chat and a laugh if that is your thing. Definitely over the partying scene, but don't mind a wine at home every now and again. I am moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work, so I will probably be out exploring the city as much as possible. I am taking up a communication job with a federal government department, and may choose to undertake some further study as well. I love a good bushwalk, so will probably be hitting up some of the local trails around the city. I would love to find a furnished room in a house with another mature, friendly and respectful professional.
Looking for a place ASAP! Ready to move in now. I'm moving to Canberra for work and I'm looking for queer-friendly, clean housemates who have a good balance of hanging out and respecting privacy. I love gardening and cooking and and lead a pretty healthy lifestyle. I'll be working 9-5 in the city and would love to live somewhere that's close enough to ride/walk or thats close to public transport. I'm pretty green, love a good wine, love music and of course like every mid-late twenties woman I love Ru Paul's Drag Race (and for the record was always #teamkatya).
Hello! I'm Amy, I'm 23 and currently working full-time as an Occupational Therapist with ACT Health. I'm an easygoing and tidy flatmate. I've lived in share houses for the past 5 years. I enjoy catching up over dinner/drinks but also respectful of others' space. Please feel free to message me with any questions and we can chat further. Thanks!
Long af post so these are the cliffnotes: 3 cool boys looking for a cool 4th person due to 4+ bedroom houses are better than 3 bedroom houses. Patient people read on. *US* We are three Canberra-made lads looking to start a new house. Though we all share a keen enthusiasm for heated discussions and (somewhat) active lifestyles, we do have our differences. Luke is keen on adventure sports, Eamon aspires to write for television, and Sam is passionate about the Australian Constitution. We are gainfully employed, tidy and hygienic. We also plan on implementing some sort of a helpful dish washing policy. We have all communal furniture bases covered. But by all means if you have things that are better than our things then please by all means bring them along and we'll throw out our things. *YOU* We are looking for persons of any gender, sexual orientation, colour or creed to join us in a four bedroom house. Ideal candidates are friendly, social and employed. That is, not mean or boring or unable to pay rent. Idk, meeting is probably the best thing to do in order to see if we'll vibe. But an affinity for movie nights, going down the pub, arguing, dinner parties, and board games will be looked upon favourably. *THE HOUSE* The plan as it stands is to meet up with you over the next couple of days, and if we all get along, we'll apply for houses together. At the moment there are two houses that we have inspected and are pretty keen on. One in Narrabundah and one in Yarralumla. We'll send you allhomes links if you're keen. The reason we want a fourth person is because three bedroom houses tend to only have one living area. Living areas are important to us. More living area = more life. And that's it! Looking to move into a place basically ASAP.
Pretty easygoing, tidy, reliable, reasonable, and respectful of others' space. I’m looking for a relaxing place. Happy for a chat at home or to join in on outings, but I'm also happy to do my own thing. I'm moving to Canberra for work and will start mid-April. I am looking forward to exploring the area, doing some good walks, and skiing. My preferences: semi-furnished (i.e. common areas) or fully furnished (i.e. common areas and bedroom). Some natural light. A short stay of one month would be ok, just to get me started in Canberra - but I am ideally looking for something longer (i.e. 6 - 8 months). (Currently living and working in Syd, so can come down to Canb on a weekend in Mar or Apr, to meet you and see the place, before any decisions).
Heya :) I’m a 24 year old recently moved from Sydney and looking at moving somewhere north! I work at QT hotel full time and I’m thinking of picking up a hobby like dancing for my spare time! I love hanging with friends and watching a good romcom in my spare time and reading a good book. I’m super chatty and friendly person that also respects your privacy. I’m very clean, organised and respectful. I’m looking for a share house but if you offer a granny flat or unit please hit me up too! If you own a pet too that’s a super bonus! :P Thanks
My name is Sarah, Im 20 years old and currently living in the inner north. Looking for a room to rent with housemates who are easy going, not party animals however are up for a drink every now and then. I work two jobs at different Primary Schools both in the inner north as a Learning Support Assistant. Would love to be able to stay close to work. I do free lance graphic deisgn on the side and always love a chance to be creative and decorate. I spend a lot of time outside on walks and love having dinner nights with close friends. Im a super tidy and organise person and will respect others space and privacy.
I am a student coming to ANU to do an Internship for 6 weeks. I am a clean, tidy and disciplined person hoping to have a great summer vacation while pursuing my internship. Looking for a bed to crash on and kitchen to cook. The nearer the place is to ANU, the better! Thanks for your interest!
I am stereotypical Canberran who is addicted to coffee, yoga and works in the public service. I volunteer at the RSPCA walking the dogs so i always have cute videos and photos to share. I'm keen to move into a social house, by that I don't mean a party house (i have had that experience before and I'm not keen to do it anymore haha) I just like sharehouses that are like a home instead of feeling like you are just renting the room. My friend's and I take it in turns to have Sunday night dinners and play board games. I also enjoy a beer in the sun but much more likely to have afternoon beers than party until the sun comes up. Feel free to contact me with any other questions :)
