Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physio therapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hello! I am looking for a new place to call home :-) I am in my 30's, a health orientated, environmentally conscious vegan, living an intentional life :-) I try to live low-impact and low-toxic. I am enthusiastic about the voluntary simplicity movement, co-operatives and the share-economy! I love being surrounded by beauty and simplicity in my home :-) I want to live in a peaceful and harmonious environment, one that is conducive to creative and yogic practices. I am a social introvert--warm and friendly, but recharge my energy with alone time. I work in the Cultural sector, and as a Creative Arts therapist, (and I try to have my own art-practice as well).
I'm a friendly, neat, and quiet person! I'm a postgrad student so I'm very much occupied with research and my teaching - I work 9 to 5 hours mostly (often more, to be frank). I'm also pretty quiet when need be, and I like to keep my areas clean. I don't smoke, or have pets. I'm also vegetarian (but don't mind if you aren't, of course!) Drop me a message if you're interested to know more!
I'm a bright bubbly person with a positive attitude who's a craft beer nut and loves music. I'm looking for housemates that enjoy the occasional cup of coffee or dinner together but also respect privacy. Ideally I'm hoping to sublet a room as I've recently moved out of another house and into temporary furnished accommodation so have sold all of my furniture. Anything north of civic that's not past North Lyneham would be ideal and a minimum of two months. As a housemate I'm neat and tidy and always pay bills on time. For any more information please feel free to contact me!
I am respectful, clean, tidy and courteous. I work full time as a project engineer on projects in Canberra and NSW. In my spare time I like to go to the Gym, Cycle and cook. If you feel I'd be suitable for your place please get in touch, I can look to move next week sometime. Thanks, Richard
Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
23 year old female moving to Canberra to start full time work in January at Canberra Hospital. I will also be studying throughout the year, so living with people who respect that would be ideal :) I love sport, being active, watching netflix/movies and partying. I am a very social person and enjoy company but also enjoy downtime and my own space.
I’ll be working full time at a library, so you can guess I like reading! I’m neat and tidy, and have been doing most of the jobs around the house. I like hanging out with other people and having my own space too. I’ve lived out of home before. I also like walking, listening to triple j, going to the movies and going out to dinner. I’m from Lake Macquarie in NSW and will be moving to Canberra for work from before the 5th of November until June 30th 2019
Hey! I'm Jordan, a young professional moving to Canberra as an engineer for a large multi-national company. I'm moving from Melbourne where I have lived for the past 3 years, and before that I was in Townsville. However, I'm currently in the U.S. for work and and expected to make the move when I return in late October. I'm also expected to travel roughly 25% of the time for work when I'm back. I tend to be more on the quiet side, sticking to early(ish) nights during the week where you would find me either reading a book, playing some video games with friends back home in Townsville, or keeping up to dates with my studies as I am finishing of my Masters degree in Computer Science. During the weekends, I don't normally plan too much but would typically be binge watching some TV, watching the footy (Both AFL and NRL), having some beers, or I may even head back to Townsville/Melbourne to catch up with family and friends. If I sound like I could be a fit, drop me a message!
Hey future roomie! As you'd probably already established, I'm Georga, I am 25 years young (old) and am currently living in Bonner (the end of the world 😭) I moved to Canberra almost 2 years ago and absolutely adore it here. I work in construction full time. I like a drink, and love nothing more than cutting loose on weekends (I start work super early during the week so no late nights for this Grandma) I am a very social person and would like entertaining friends on the weekends with BBQ's and wines. Reason for moving is wanting to be closer to work (lyneham) so inner north is preferred. I come with bedroom furniture a BBQ and an outdoor lounge setting. Parking is a must. Bonus points for a dog! About you: I would love to live in a sociable, friendly and generally happy household. X
Hi there, I’m Kirsten. I’ve lived in our nations capital for nearly two years and have a full time government gig. In my spare time I play sport, cook, cycle, hike and read. I’m eager to find a friendly and respectful household.
Hi all! I am a gradaute relocating to Canberra next year from Melbourne - I begin in early February and would ideally be looking to move sometime in January, however am flexible on dates. I am an easygoing and relaxed person, who loves a drink and socialising, seeing live music and exploring. I am respectful of others and also enjoy my own down time, and importantly know how to cook (well, a bit..). I'd be interested in teaming up with anyone looking for somewhere new (or other APS grads out there), or finding a room available. Feel free to message me if you'd like to chat :) thanks
Hi! I am looking to move to the city/belco area. I work full time at a law firm and study law at UC part time. When i am home i am studying or cooking. I have a cat (2 years old, lovely, big boy) and also a dog (mini fox terrier, 1 year old). Cat is indoors at night, on my bed or the couch and outdoors during the day. Dog is the same, back yard preferably so she can play during the day. I then take her for walks most nights and on the weekends. She is trained and doesn't make a mess. Just wants cuddles and to pay tug of war! Looking for a 2-3 bedroom house with ultimately, although not necessary, my own bathroom. A house mate that is clean and tidy and doesn't mind if i have my boyfriend over a few nights a week. I am an Australian girl, 23, a hard working professional and will keep the house tidy. I am not a vegetarian but not opposed to someone that is. I am LGBT friendly. Don't mind if you smoke outside. Let me know if you have any questions!
Aaron and Claire ~ an exciting and dynamic duo. Living together for the past six months, we’ve enjoyed our time in the quiet and picturesque inner north suburb of Watson. Currently both deffered we are looking to take up study in the coming acedmic year in our respective areas ~ phsycology and visual arts ~ whilst maintaining our part time jobs. We both maintain a clean standard of living and are chatty, personable and supportive to those close to us. A love for nature and tasty food is definetly mutual, and occasionally big night out. Typically we share the cost of food, and are happy to cook individually or together. Our maximum rental cost is roughly $150-175 each per week ~ this will sit well within our budgets. Utility bills do not have to be included within this cost. Claire is currently in the ownership of a car, and is more than willing to provide lifts anytime, anywhere. Thank you for your consideration, hoping to hear from some marvellous people soon.
Hey, I'm Ben. I'm a 21yo rurally raised bloke. I'm currently working 2 hospitality jobs and am looking into beginning studies as of next year. I'm very easy to get along with and respectful of peoples privacy. I'm looking for a place to live with an honest, communal atmosphere where everyone is happy to pitch in, work as a team and help out. I also get behind a quiet beer every now and then :)
I am a Swiss master student from ETH Zürich who will be working on my Master Thesis for 5 weeks at CSIRO in Canberra. I have lived in many shared flats in Switzerland but would like to get to know some people in Australia. I will be quite busy with my thesis but in my spare time always enjoy conversations and discussions about anything from the environment, modern society, politics, farming to psychological phenomena! I enjoy cooking and eating together if people are around. I am a very clean person and would of course help with chores etc.
I am studying computer science and maths, and will be doing an internship with the Australian Signals Directorate. I am a really easy going and easy to get along well with. My hobbies include listening to music, gymming and boxing. I'm am a social person so I wouldn't mind finding some flatmates I can hang out with.
