We are two sisters. Peaceful, neat and tidy to live with. My younger sister recently finished her Masters from Monash uni and on the job hunt, while I’ll be working full-time in Collingwood, so wanting to live in a location that’s close to the train station, convenient to commute from and affordable. We’ve been fairly financially independent so far with our incomes and savings, but have been supported by our parents every now and then. We’ve got timely rental payment records in all the places we’ve lived. Have lived in both shared and independent accommodations, so are very adaptable.
Hey guys! I'm in my third of a science degree (zoology/conservation biology). I love trying new things, am a foodie, love music, nature documentaries, cooking and hiking! I'm friendly, easy going and love good conversation, but also enjoy my own time winding down. I like to keep a clean place and have lived in share houses for the past 3 years. I'm open to moving into an established place or teaming up to find somewhere :)
Hi there, I moved this year from Berlin to Melbourne in order to make my PhD in science but I'm only a part-time nerd. I have Croatian roots (και η γιαγιά μου είναι απο την Κρήτη) and I'm a mix. I like music and Arts exhibitions. During my leisure time I play the Oud and I have deep passion for Mediterranean cuisine. As a worshiper of the holy Spaghetti Monster I believe in sharing good food with other people. I like pets, especially cats and don't mind living in a household with a cat or dog. I'm clean and tidy, so a cleaning schedule is an obligation since I don't want that living things crawl out of the bin. I'm pretty easy going but I'm very busy because I have so many things to do besides my PhD: Dancing, music and going to concerts. I'm looking for people who wanna team up and set up their own household, a place where any body can relax and call home. Cheers
Hi there! My name is Allyse and I am looking for a room to rent, preferably mid between the city and the peninsula! I am early 20s and currently work at Myer at two seperate locations, meaning I usually work 4-5 days a week. I have rental history, previously renting rooms in Seddon and Southbank this year. I am returning to study full time next year to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. I love to socialise and meet new people, listen to music and play my guitar (quietly!), go to bars/gigs with friends and anything beauty related! I don’t mind living with smokers and am VERY LGBTIQA+ friendly! Would love to hear from you so don’t hesitate to get in contact with me! :)
33y.o male, working professional. between work and part time research, usually I work very long hours, so you might not see much of me. Easy going, and accommodating. Will abide by your house rules. Generally can appear quiet at first but will strike a lively conversation to those who are keen. loves working out, rock climbing, snow boarding and traveling. Available to move in asap. Thank you for reading :)
Hey, I'm Jared. I'm 28 years old and am currently working full time in an IT role for a large retail company. I'm looking for an affordable place to move into, ideally with a friendly bunch of people. I currently go to gym 2-3 days a week and I'm always looking for new ways to keep fit including playing team sports. I have an interest in technology, and if you play video games, I'm always looking for opponents! I like to surround myself with people who work hard, but still find time to relax and enjoy other aspects of life. Maybe that just means grabbing a drink every once in a while, which I'm pretty much always down for :) As a flatmate, I think I am very reliable and trustworthy, as well as being a fun, easygoing person to live with.
I am moving from Auckland, New Zealand to pursue a PhD in Melbourne by late January 2019. Taking my time to find a place. I’m social, love to cook and I’m clean and tidy. Reliable and easy going by nature makes me easy to live with.
2 friends from South West Victoria currently studying Engineering and Medicine at Monash Clayton. Both can cook and value general cleanliness and tidiness. Looking for a share house with good banter and occasional shenanigans. Hobbies and interests include gym, going on walks, classic movies and good food outings. Looking to either join or start a share house close to Monash University Clayton. Move date flexible
Hi Everyone :) I’m a British doctor (resident level like season two of Scrubs) who has moved to Melbourne for a year. I’m working within the Monash Hospitals (Clayton/Dadenong/Casey) and would love to find a home to share with friendly, open minded young professionals. A little bit about me - I am a clean and considerate housemate who respects communal living areas and personal space. I think of myself as an outgoing, friendly person who is easy to hang out with, interested in people and a lover of pets (though I don’t have any myself). I have a broad range of interests from meditation and yoga (though I’m terrible at them) to browsing contemporary art, playing board games, attending electronic music gigs, cooking and binging a great netflix sitcom. I’m also a keen traveller and just spent 3 months in South America before coming here. Please get in touch if you have a space available and you think I might be a good fit. My budget is up to 300AUD/week and ideally this would include bills. Cheers, Saras
I work part time in child care and am also a writer. I'm quiet, clean and responsible. I can move any time from now but don't have a date I need to be in by. I have lived on my own since I was 19, both with housemates and for a few years by myself. I do have a super friendly dog Ellie, she's a Labrador.
Emma and I (Mikaela) have lived together for a year now and are looking at moving out to find somewhere that is better suited to our needs. Mikaela is a full-time teacher, single, 24 that works in Cranbourne North. Her hobbies include binging netflix, brunch, wine as well as going out every now and then. Emma is a PhD student studying at Monash University, likes to also binge netflix and go out every now and then. I think Emma and I have gotten along really well so far as we both are very clean and tidy, like to hang out but also appreciate individual time. We are also both very organised in order to maintain our busy, full time working lives. We are also on the look out for someone else who is also clean and tidy, organised has similar lifestyles to us to team up and find a house to rent. If you think we are the people to team up with, please contact us! EDIT: We have inspected a few properties in Mulgrave (3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms) that we interested in applying for a lease. We are looking for a third person to go in on the application with us and fill the third space. Contact us and we can provide links and details of the properties and we can decide together which properties would best suit all of us. Depending on the property the rent ranges from 620-800 per calendar month. The properties all have a master bedroom and 2 standard bedrooms so rent will vary depending on the price of property and the room you occupy. Mikaela and Emma
I'm an enthusiastic, humoristic and sporty Dutch guy, coming to Australia to work and travel. Fun is guaranteed, but I'm also tidy and very open to deeper conversations. Always eager to get to know more (about) people. I'm 27, working for 2 years now at Decathlon, which is a big sports store coming to Melbourne now. After getting my Master's degree in Work & Organisational Psychology, I went backpacking in South-East Asia and now I'm back at it again: I love travelling around the world. Will stay in Melbourne for at least 3 months, with a possible extension of another 3 months. I'm looking for a room/shared apartment somewhere between Melbourne CBD and the suburb Knoxfield, since I'll be working there for the first 3 months at least. Close to public transport would be nice. I will arrive the 26th of October.
A graduate migrating with a work visa in search of job. Never minding gender, race I would like to be in a place where a good person will be with me to share. If you too think the same, let's share the room.
Hi there! My name is Bree and I am looking for a room to rent, I am early 25 and currently work full token in Cheltenham 5-6 days a week. I have an American staffy pup who is 7months old. I love to socialise and meet new people, listen to music, go to bars/gigs with friends and anything beauty related! I also am a smoker. Would love to hear from you so don’t hesitate to get in contact with me! :)
Very easy going - Relaxed - Funny (according to me :P) - Sporty - Reliable - Tidy - Respectful I work full time and play sport on top of that, so am not home a great deal - in my free time i love movies, gym, hanging out with friends, video games, pretty much anything that sounds fun. Always down for a chat, feed or a drink with friends/housemates. Have experience living in shared accomodation and understand the roles that need to be fulfilled in order to maintain decent living conditions.
I’m super easy going, tidy and respectful. Love a good openly communicative househould, relaxed friendly vibe essential! I keep very busy with study and work but do like to cook and chat as well when I'm home.
28 years old, work part time as online shopper, play guitar in West African band, teach guitar. am responsible and considerate of others. like to socialize and have a few drinks but also like to have my own space from time to time.
Hey! My name is Adrian. Currently working full time. Looking to find a place that is a bit closer to work. Love gaming, music and movies. I'm a friendly individual who is tidy, flexible, easily to get along with and would make a great house mate to live with. I also respect people's privacy and understand when someone needs their space. I do have a pet cat named is Jasper who is tagging along with me so it would be nice to find a home for him as well. He won't be a trouble as he's mostly an outdoors cat.
Hey, I'm Dan - working full time in burwood, looking for somewhere within ~25ish minutes of work ideally on the south east side of town! Preferably on a longer than 6 month term, keeping under a budget of $650 p/month but hey if you've got something outside of that but the value for money is there I'm negotiable. I'm a very easy going dude. Like too easy going. You have no idea just how easy it is for me to get going, oh boy. Get more from your roommate with Dean Pelton/Tobias Fünke like witticisms such as that one, on the reg with yours truly in the house - go out and get yourself a Dan, today! Strengths: I own a ps4, projector and french press knows how bad I am at guitar and will never subject you to it Weaknesses: Devilishly handsome Enjoys paying bills on time Can sometimes be too respectful of people’s space and privacy Tries too hard to be funny My weaknesses aren’t really weaknesses The dog doesn’t live with me anymore - sorry (If you noticed (AND RESPECTED) that I had the dedication to go google tobias funke, copy paste the ü just for that bit then we are either destined flatmates, either way hit me up)
