I can either be really outgoing and open or very closed and quiet, I’m quite a diverse person who is a workaholic, I like mild gaming and watching movies and tv shows, but also like to have a good time when it comes to drinking etc.
Hi, I'm a software developer, and a semi-professional Badminton player. I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I don't smoke and I'm fairly social, though prefer my privacy at times. Keen to find a place to live with like minded people.
I am a full-time professional and part-time student at the ANU. I work in the city and like to live close by as I don't have a car. I don't smoke, drink, or have pets. My hobbies include politics, playing the trombone, tinkering with computers and paying rent on time.
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Adelaide in Feb 2019 to start as an APS Graduate (I know that's still a long time away but I thought I might try and get a jump on the crowds..) I'm looking for a share house of people who are easy going, who enjoy sharing a meal and a few drinks, but who are also respectful of the need to have time alone. I've lived in share houses for the last couple of years and have loved it - I'm friendly, very relaxed and more than happy to pull my weight with cleaning, cooking etc etc all that fun stuff. A little more about myself... I love hiking, camping and getting outdoors, I try to ride my bike wherever I can, and I try to live sustainably. I enjoy cooking (especially Mexican nights and Taco Tuesdays) and Netflix binging in my free time. If you think we'd get along and you might have a free room around the start of 2019 please let me know! Cheers :)
Clean, tidy, good humoured with the occasional pun, respectful of others. My fulltime day job is IT wrangling. When not at a desk I enjoy music, electronics, making things, cycling, camping and getting outdoors.
Will have Just finished a diploma at CSU Wagga Wagga, just looking to find a job and settle down in Canberra. I don't typically tend to take up a lot of space, nor am I messy or loud. I want to find a place I can feel comfortable in, preferably with students, but this isn't necessary. I'm easy going and easy to get along with, up for a chat 90% of the time, however, I do really enjoy my own company sometimes and like to just chill out by myself. Originally from a small town in NSW, Trundle. So I'm still getting used to the mass amounts of people. I went to a boarding school in high school (Red Bend CC) and currently live on campus at CSU, so I'm use to living with groups of people around my age.
Hello! I’m a female student doing masters at the ANU. I’ve been living on campus in the past year, and I’m thinking to spend my last semester outside the uni, so that I can get a chance to enjoy a different environment with inspiring people. I'm a friendly and easy-going person, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so I am always excited whenever I have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books. Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
Looking for a chill, tidy and relaxed house in North Canberra. I’m respectful, and easygoing. I pitch in with chores and will happily share a drink or two or a chat with the housemates, though I respect other people’s space too! I sometimes go out of town on weekends to visit family and I work fulltime for the government :)
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing for almost 3 years now, so I definitely know the drill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka, normally Monday - Thursday & Tuesday - Friday. I’m looking for a second job for nights and weekends as I’ve recently just left my bar job. So normally I’m pretty busy working 7 day weeks. If I’m not working I go to my parents house in bredbo NSW, (45mins from Canberra, which is where I’m from). For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I do keep to myself quite a bit when it comes to share houses, just because I’m normally so tired from long hours. So you’ll normally find that I like to be in my room chilling out watching Netflix. I guess what I’m really looking for in a home is just a clean environment to be honest. Xo Lauren
Hi I am looking for a place to live, would love to live with someone easy going, clean and respectful. A little bit about me, I love to keep fit, while socialising when I get the chance. I work a lot, but when I'm home I love to drink red wine, Netflix binge and relax.
Hello, I'm Jemma! I'm a happy, bubbly and easy-going person who is temporarily moving to Canberra for a paid internship. I'm temporarily leaving my life in Perth, where I am doing a PhD in Psychology, to take on this full-time position in a Gov department. I'm clean, respectful and easy-going. I would really like to get along with my housemate/s - but I will also respect your privacy and space. I enjoy a good glass of wine, I love my food, and keeping fit. Looking for a chilled environment to come home to after work. Please get in contact if you think I'm a fit!
Hey! My name is Taylor. I work full-time for Defence and moved to Canberra for my work. I am social and enjoy making friends, so I would prefer to be friends with my roommate(s) and am down for household meals etc. though I do value my down time. I work Monday - Friday and in the afternoons I enjoy listening to music, cruising the interwebs, going for a run/walk and am more than happy for a chat. On weekends I enjoy hikes, grabbing coffee or finding random activities around Canberra. My ideal household is a laid-back environment mixed in with some light banter. I'm also clean and tidy and will contribute to household chores. As they say: Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Both Male and Female roommates are welcomed. Look forward to meeting you!
Hi! I'm Cristina, I'm a 24 Spanish recent graduate in International Relations and I’m looking for a place to stay in Canberra from late September early October. I will be doing a full-time traineeship at the European Union delegation to Australia for 6 months and will love to get the opportunity to share a flat with students/young professionals in Canberra. I’m an easy going person and I like to interact with people from other nationalities, I’m also pretty used to it as I have a room rented to international students in Madrid and I shared apartments before in Istanbul and Beijing, where I did my undergraduate exchanges. I love travelling, having good food, relaxing and reading, watching movies and sharing stories. I also enjoy having a glass of wine with my flatmates although I respect their privacy and space.
I work full time in the animal care industry and live with my dog, a 3 year old male Koolie X. I enjoy having my own time and going away on the weekends. My partner is based in Dubbo but would be visiting Canberra on a weekly basis.
Hey there, my name is Rach and I live in Adelaide but I'm moving to Canberra in 2019 to work as a graduate in the APS. I'm looking for flatmates who are easy going, friendly, and enjoy a wine or two. I'm looking for flatmates who want to be friends, and spend the odd day or night together watching netflix/going for walks/watching the footy or having a BBQ. That being said, I'm also respectful of time to ourselves, and will need a bit of this to catch up on work and study, and go home to Adelaide every now and then. What can I bring to the table? Nice wine glasses, cheese knives and platters, coffee cups, and decent cooking skills. What can you bring? Hopefully a table! I'm good to keep things clean and tidy, pull my weight and pay my bills on time. In my spare time I like to be social, play with my dog Charlie (unfortunately he's not coming with me), scout out good coffee and good wineries. Coming from South Australia, I'm into things like supporting small wineries, local producers and farmers markets. It also means I'm used to being able to get anywhere in 20 minutes, so I'm looking for places in areas close to my work in Barton. If you think we'd get along, and you've got a room free around January/February 2019, please get in touch!
