I like a good laugh with house mates but also respect we have our own lives, On weekends I generally like to chill or go camping ,4wding or fishing , visit friends or find something to do around the house, I'm very easy to live with, very clean and responsible with bills and house hold chores.
Hi. I am moving to Melbourne in 2 weeks time to start a new full time job there .I am looking for accommodation, minimum 1 month.longer if possible. I am Irish and have been in Australia for 5 yrs now. Easy going, like to have a laugh and a chat but also respect having your own space.
I'm a 25 year old full time professional that is looking for a friendly place to move into that is closer to my work. I've lived with a variety of people before and respect the privacy and cleanliness of others but also like to socialise. I enjoy being active in my spare time (hiking, gym, snowboarding, yoga) and cooking delicious food! I love a positive and easy going environment and would like to live with someone who shares similar interests and wants to live as friends, not just flatmates. I love animals, going out for a drink and listening to live music on the weekends :) Any questions feel free to contact me.
I have 2 teenage children with me, 50 % of the time. Would love to share with someone in a similar situation. I'll write more when I feel there is any hope at all of something out there - think that maybe there is little likelyhood of someone being in a comparable situation?
I'm 18 years old, currently work two jobs as a retail assistant in greensborough and also work in fast food as well. I am also studying sports and exercise science at uni and have also completed my cert 4 in fitness and am happy to personal train any of my room mates for fun as I am always either working out in the gym or going for runs. I like to be in a clean environment and love to spend time with my friends yet also love my alone time too. I'm an animal lover but don't have any pets of my own. I'm a very chilled out person and am happy to meet new people and have a fresh start in a new home :)
Hello Future Housemates, I am a father of 2 beautiful kids, a 3 year old boy, Finn that I parent 50% of the time and a 10 year old girl who lives with her mother in Northern NSW. I see her a few times a year. They are both smart and respectful. I work shifts as a rigger and AV technician in the events industry and so often work weekends setting up for parties and corporate events. I also have a start up company that is only 6 months old called Melbourne Custom Batteries. My business partner and I make and repair battery packs mainly for electric bicycles. I would prefer some garage space to setup my workbench. The work isn’t noisy, messy or energy hungry and I do it between my event shifts. We intend to expand into a warehouse space but for the moment, it’s a very small operation. Finn and myself are vegetarians so we would prefer a household that is vegetarian or at least vegetarian friendly. I love to cook and started Australia’s first vegan organic catering business back in the day. Finn and I love music, I DJ and have my own equipment so if you love to dance then we are a good match. I don’t play late at night or loudly. I'm a non-smoker. I'm also a non-drinker but you help yourself, it's just not my cup of tea. I'm not so concerned about consumption but behaviour so enjoy your beverage and I'll enjoy my soy latte. Gardening is one of my passions, growing veggies for dinner without sprays or pesticides. Its great for relieving stress and a lovely activity for kids to be involved in. I have a car and a couple of ebikes which any housemate would be able to use. The ebikes are lots of fun and very useful, no parking issues and no sweat or lycra needed. We are LGBTQI friendly and aware. Gender, age, nationality or whether you have kids or not is unimportant. I just want to live with motivated friendly people who know how to keep a house reasonably clean and functional. I would need one large bedroom for myself and Finn or two smaller rooms. A granny flat would also suit. If you are also looking for a vegetarian home then lets team up and get an amazing house together.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
I'm sincere genuine respectful to others always, and dont come with baggage. I'm simply looking for a granny flat or large bungalow where I could be closer to my grandchildren who live in Eltham. I'm very house proud, and take pride generally in all I do. I have now a 15 year dog that is quiet unwell and so obviously would never leave this dear old chap behind His time is near and I find him of late sleeping a lot more 20 to 21 hours every day 7 days a week either in a bag or his bed. He is tiny far smaller than a average size Pussy Cat and believes everything and everyone ate his friends. A bit late for him to worry about that word he never knew DANGER! I like to cook and keep a nice clean property Very much Into the environment and conservation Criminal law reading and the gardening travel and children's protection and their well-being.
I am self sufficient, independent, a good communicator and creative - photographer, writer, creative. My major interest in addition to the creative endevours is music an interest shared with many musician friends (predominantly in Sydney) My preference is to share with one person / property owner or alternatively team up and lease with one other. My name is Caoimhe pronounced Keeva, I am Irish/ Canadian and I work full time for The Wilderness Society in Melbourne. I love art, nature, hummus, tofu, avocado, reading books, all of the boooks, adventuring far and beyond to lands of lush greenery or oceans a blue. I love being positive and happy and socializing, but also really appreciate solitude. I am clean and respectful of my space and others. In my spare time I practice yoga, go for walks, swimming, bicycling, workshops, hiking, grow vegetables, all of the things! I love life and making the most of it everyday. I am seeking a home with people on the same wave as me, if you think we match then hit me up! :D
I have lived at my last place for 12 years as I always paid rent on time and treated my neighbours with consideration and respect. I have a life of my own and will not smother you. I am socialised and do not roll home drunk and be obnoxious and annoying. Reformed smoker but do not worry being around smokers and drink on a very occasional basis. No Drugs. I am virtually retired at 64 years and cover all my Centrelink obligations with volunteer work. i would like to stay in the listed areas as I have family at Heidelberg and friends at Blackburn and Knox and the public transport gets me to both, and my volunteer role, conveniently. Paying rent is the priority and understanding that you have to give people in a shared situation genuine consideration is next. Socialised, tidy and personable in a sharing situation. Excellent rental refererence from my previous 12 years of renting at Lower Plenty and personal references as well. Do not have pets/companions but would consider them a bonus if you do.
Hi there, with many years of sharehouse experience I can gel with people of all walks of life. I am a hard worker that loves a clean house. I am exceptionally reliable with paying my share. I love to cook, I love to paint, I am a drummer with passion (but won't play in the house). I love travel and photography. I am quite social but also like my time to myself.
I am quiet and respectful, I am social but also private, I am committed to yoga so I don't drink or smoke, I am considerate ,very conscious of considering others especially in the pm hours or early morning,. Friendly and conversational, play tennis twice a week, studying a BA currently. seeking similar housemates. im easy going but weary of noise levels and expect the same, not interested in living in a house where endless visitors are coming through for obvious reasons. common courtesy and respect is how I work and expect the same. the rest is a breeze. prefer own bathroom! thanks.
I am a funny person when you get to know me, awkward at first though haha. I work a lot and I'm always out, quiet when I am home. I party a lot on weekends and wouldn't mind a place where that can happen. I also love cats and dogs
I keep myself busy working as an apprentice electrician, doing two nights a week at a pizza shop as well as djing in and around Melbourne on weekends. Always up for a chat and to lend a hand. Will enjoy a beer or two and will respect personal space and being neat and tidy.
I am working, studying and playing sport full time. I am very easy going, clean around the house and hardly home due to a busy schedule. Looking to move in the next month also.
