I am a 21 year old professional looking to move to Brisbane’s South Western Suburbs between late November and early January. I have been living in the Sunshine Cost for the past 2 years, prior to that I lived in North Qld. I will be studying at Springfield Tafe 2 nights each week to further my career, beginning late January. I have lived in share housing on and off since I was 18, before that I went to boarding school, so I have learnt how to be respectful of my housemates at all times. I am clean and tidy an mostly keep to myself but I do love a good chat a few drinks every now and then. My maximum rent at this stage is $200 per week including bills but I may be able swing higher once I have secured a full time position and know my pay rate before I move. I am a smoker, however respectful enough to understand most people don’t smoke, I will ALWAYS only smoke outside and ensure the smoke doesn’t bother anyone else. I am able to provide rent receipts and a written and/ or verbal reference from my current land lord as well as a written reference from my current housemate.
I’m a 24 year old health-care professional. I work 8 days a fortnight. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, watching netflix and crocheting. I’m kind and considerate and will be respectful of your privacy and space. I’m generally quiet and keep to myself but don’t mind a chat occasionally. I am a shiftworker so I work weird hours. Sometimes I’ll be up at 5am for work. Other times I’ll get home at 12am. Any prospective housemates would have to be accepting of this as I need to make a certain amount of noise in order to get ready for work and get ready for bed (i.e. showering, breakfast, midnight snacks). I am a non-smoker.
Clean, respectful and reliable. Can arrange further weeks rent payed in advance if helps me secure a rental ASAP,.. non smoker, Don’t drink and have no children, Independent Australian, part time working 28 yo
I am a 24 year old male grew up on the nsw/vic border in a country town. I have lived in share houses over the last 3 years in Melbourne Hamilton island and most recent Brisbane cbd. I am now calling Brisbane home for good I have full time employment at sumner park looking for something 30 35 minute s by public transport or and walk to there. I am clean quiet and easy going. pastry chef by trade so can cook too. Look forward to hearing from you Jacob.
Very mature minded yet easy going, partner is also the same We are neat and tidy and don’t mind cleaning Don’t do drinks or party I Work part time in Indooroopilly as a nail technician so preferably somewhere near that area and my partner also works part time.
My name is Allan. I'm a full time Truck Driver currently doing night shift With the possibility of trips away. I have a 3yo daughter who I would like to be able to spend time with from time to time. I'm quiet, tidy and like to generally keep to myself
heres a bit about myself. Recently moved from the northside to carole park for work. Very laid back non judgemental easy to get along with chilled person. I work monday to friday and spend most of my free time with friends or at car events, would prefer garage space or off street parking as i have a rare expensive vehicle that is my pride and joy. I also have 2 extremly tame(hutched, house and toilet trained) show rabbits, if your an animal lover i can guarentee they will melt your heart and you will fall in love with them. Not one to party but enjoy a night out from time to time. Im clean, respectful and enjoy a good conversation.
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but likely within 1-2months. Household will be amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and back/mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) in my living with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Needing to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in storing what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
Single man working full time at UQ in Biomedical Sciences, so away most workdays. Have a history of living in share homes close to UQ with families and single students. I don't smoke but enjoy a wine in the evening. I have two dogs that stay outside so am looking for a comfortable yard. Enjoy trips to the beach and Straddie for a bit of get away. Downsizing currently from a large home to a small one closer to work so have all furniture if needed.
Hi, I am currently looking for a new place to move in around December 2018 as I would be starting my internship at a pharmacy. I would be working 5 days a week. I am clean, neat, tidy and have lived in a shared house before. So, I would know to clean up after myself and be respectful to other's privacy. I am not looking for a party house as I would like to get some rest after a full day of work. I am happy with small chats but not anything too crazy.
I am a reliable and self-motivated person who thrives from taking opportunities and developing myself further. I am a good communicator, always interested in learning new things from the people around me. I value kindness, generosity and I love traveling through cities and exploring the suburbs around them.
Hi, i'm a 17 year old grade 12 student about to graduate. I have lived out of home for several months and currently live in a share house with my older sister but am need of housing until at least until graduation in mid November. The lease on my current place runs out soon and it takes me an hour and 45 minutes to get to school and work, which has affected my attendance. I am employed, and i'm also receiving assistance from Centrelink so I believe that I am financially dependable. I'm pretty academically focused, and i'm planning on studying either Visual Art or Economics at uni.

Hi, Im currently been in my current share situation for approx 7 years and its been brought apon me i need to move on ! I work for my self so my hours are variable, only day time work and some Saturdays. I like to relax in my spare time, i also have a jet skit that i use a fair bit over the summer period .Have an interest in cars and enjoy tinkering with them when possible. Happy to talk and chill out with my co tenants but sometimes just wanna be left alone, and would be in my room ( but not a hermit !)
Very easy going. I mind my own business and am very reliable. I'm full blown aussie and I work as a plasterer. For fun I just play video games and stuff, I go out every now and then but I'm pretty sensible.
Hey! I’m Sarah, I’m clean and tidy, very open minded and health conscious, get up early and go to bed early, very easy to get along with, helpful and considerate, love having a chat, spending time outdoors and spreading positive energy around (: Currently renting a house with my brother, our lease ends 22nd of November.
I am hoping to find someone who is reliable and can clean up after themselves. The last person I was renting with was a nightmare lol. I enjoy my space but don't mind a bit of a chat. I work late 2pm-10pm 5 days a week, then gym early mornings or after work usually. I have a 5yr old boy, who I have with me once a fortnight on the weekends.
Hi I am originally from Melbourne. I am a marketing and communications professional working full time. I am a techie and usually keep to myself on my tech-related gadgets. Sports-minded as well to a certain degree as I grew up working in professional sports. The reason why I'm looking to move is that I'm trying to compromise with my partner. We're too early in our relationship to live together yet where I'm living now is too far away to be there for her when she needs me. She has her own house and will not be visiting very often (it will be me to her). I'm looking for somewhere to live for the next six or so months before we do ultimately move in together. I am a very easy going and laid back individual. I am social but also enjoy my alone time.
Hi! I'm Maddie, I'm 21 and will be studying a Bachelor of Education specializing in Early Childhood at USQ's Springfield campus commencing Feb 2019 and am looking for a place to live nearby. I work casually for Goodstart Early Learning at the moment but will have a part-time job before moving out. I am putting myself out here early to check out the options available and to also see if I can find people in the same boat to find a place with. I am single, straight, I don't have any children, am a non-smoker, don't do any sort of drugs and don't really drink much. I am a tidy, relatively quiet person and I will be studying so a quieter more laid-back environment would be nice. I would prefer to find other uni students. I have a pet Bearded Dragon named Calcifer who I adore and who will be moving with me and I would like to have the option to have a cat or dog at some stage so an animal-friendly household is required. I am a pretty laid back person and have a lot of interests indoor and outddor and I'm into most genres of music. I also play piano, guitar, and alto saxophone. House/unit wise a double bedroom with private bathroom and wireless internet are required. My budget including all bills and internet is $190 a week. If you will have a room available or are someone looking for people to rent a house with around Springfield in November and think we would get along please feel free to message me :)
I am a young at heart 60 year old, with a full time job as a Disability Carer. I am quiet, neat and tidy but not a neat freak. I have a very busy life, and am often away on my weekends off. I also do a sleepover one night a week, so am gone every Thursday and Friday. I enjoy walking, camping and watching movies in my spare time. I am a social drinker and non-smoker. I own my own home, which I am going to be renting out for 6-12 months. I am financially responsible, and will always pay my rent in time.
I mostly keep to myself as I work a lot and I am not home much except my days off. I have a staffy x ridgeback called Jack who is a big softy and loves cuddles at night with me. I work as a travel agent and like to chill on my days off ... read, Netflix, hang with my dog. I am single and don’t like a lot of people in my house ... it’s my sanctuary so not into house parties and stuff. I am not fussed if I live with a male or female as long as there is no drama!!! Let me know if you are interested in meeting.
I'm a pretty extroverted and energetic person, who enjoys socialising, but after sharing a house here in Brissie with an introvert for the past 12 years I've learnt how and when to keep to myself and give others their space, and peace and quiet. Looking for an unfurnished, and reasonably large room with builtin wardrobe if possible (3.7m x 3.7m minimum is ideal, or 4x3 plus a study table nook etc) I work from home (as a meteorologist), and spend 2-3 nights a week out of the house refereeing touch footy. I'm the sort of person who is often busy early and late in the day, but has large chunks of the middle of the day available to keep the house ticking over, both inside and out, while others may be busy or out at work. I enjoy following the NRL, and given my passion for severe weather, during summer I often head out in the afternoons and evenings to chase storms across SE QLD.
