Hey there - I'm a Melbourne local looking for a room to rent somewhere preferably walking distance to a train station or trams. I work full-time in social work around the Frankston area. I do have a car and drive often around Melbourne for work so it would be great if the place has off-street parking, though on-street is fine too :) I'm tidy, clean and quiet - I work weekdays and spend my weekends generally relaxing, cooking, visiting family and going out with friends. I enjoy chatting with my housemates and having a laugh but also enjoy winding down and spending time to myself. I love finding local brunch spots and bars - any recommendations greatly appreciated! I'm a vegetarian but have no problems living with people who eat meat. I also like to try to live somewhat sustainably. Would love to live with people who are also working full time! Or a combo of working + studying. I like living with people who are relaxed about having friends and partners over every now and then - within reason of course :) I love cats and dogs as long as they're trained and friendly
Young entrepreneur from country Victoria, for the last 6 months I have been working on a store based in DFO Moorabbin. I moved out of home very young to pursue a career in Melbourne and have learnt a thing or two about flatmates. In the past, I have been rushed in the door with big expectations and only to have flatmates get slack and nasty. Hope I can find kind, honest hard working people like myself. I have AS which makes me really easy to live with. I am really outgoing and easy to chat too, I especially love to discuss ideas with people. I work 7 days a week but it's flexible as I work for myself. I always find the time to clean as I am a total germaphobe, I'm the kinda guy to always vacuum, get into those hard to reach spots and scrub the shower. I have been in this business for 3 years now. It maintains a stable profit. I usually go on a 2-week business trip once a quarter. To add, I have a girlfriend who likes to visit once a week, we are Catholic, we aren't very affectionate and we usually just work together on the business. We have never had a fight and you're more than welcome to spend time with us :)
Spend my spare time/days off with friends or on my own going for walks or at the shops. I respect other people’s personal space, keep to myself. I am a beauty therapist at Endota Brighton Beach.
I'm deaf and can lip read a bit. I use Auslan fluent by langauge. Can teach if interested! I'm Non smoker or Drug. I keep to fit! Am Easy / Out going, Laid back, Neat, Responsibility, Reliable tenant, Pay on the time, etc. I do enjoy a drink or two on occasional or during the weekends. Am looking for a long resident. (6 months - ?) I got a small things on me so easy to move in... I have a Police clearance certificate and references.
I'm Harry, 22, recent graduate from the UK on a working holiday. Fell in love with Melbourne on a visit from New Zealand and decided to move out! Looking for a place to live, and looking for work a.s.a.p. - temp, bar work, retail. I'm a pretty fun person (though quiet nights in with Netflix are always necessary) so something more central and closer to the busier areas/the CBD is ideally what I'm looking for. Into music + gigs, nature, beach days, nightlife, video games, reading; just about anything. Very keen on keeping a tidy living space, always open to new people and adventures, good cook and terrible English humour. Lots of experience living with others so fully on board with respecting privacy and the communal aspects of the flat. Prefer to live with others but will browse over some 1 bed listings if something ideal comes up. EDIT - if you've seen this listing before, it's because I created it for a few months ago and had to delay the move out. I'm here now!
Hi Everyone, I'm Melissa, Melbourne born and raised! I work in the inner suburbs as an Office Manager 9am to 5.30pm, for an Oil company. I've lived in share houses with friends as well as on my own in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland over the years. I love the outdoors, travelling, photography, time out with friends, live music and keeping fit with pilates, gym, hikes, soon adding boxing and spin classes! I am relocating to be closer to work and always in the city / surrounding suburbs socially. (I can't handle the commute to work by car and back forth socially anymore!) Looking for a private large bedroom in a shared house or apartment, with car parking, whether off or on street. Preferably with housemates that have good energy, sense of humour, drama free and easy going like me, non-smokers, no drugs, no parties at home and no pets. Within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to trams/train station is my preference. I would like housemates that I can have the occasional drink, chat and meal with. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, especially a share place available and you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household. Cheers :)
25yo. Female. Freelance beauty assistant and promotional/events worker. I'm considerate of others and am extremely laid back meaning I keep to myself. Im looking for flatmates and if we end up friends then thats an added bonus. Nothing phases me, I never judge others, and am hoping theres some like minded people waiting for a flatmate like me. Ultimately Im looking for a self contained unit, granny flat, bungalow or similar but realistically would consider any arrangement that involves less than 4 flatmates and isnt too far from where i currently reside in Aspendale as Ive become, fond of and familiar with, the area. I also find living by the ocean is important to me for mental, physically and spiritual wellbeing. Georgia
I'm honest, friendly, easy to get along with though I do tend to keep to myself and always clean up after myself. I'm new to house sharing but due to how my life has played out lately I really need to find some sort of accommodation that has some security behind it and not find myself having to move again in a couple weeks or months time. I have been doing domestic cleaning for myself for quite a few years now on a casual basis plus I receive Newstart benefits as I don't earn enough through just cleaning. I am constantly looking for full-time employment and have been doing some small courses to hopefully help. I don't own a car, therefore I do walk a lot and also rely on public transport.
I am self sufficient, a good cook and fastidious in my space. I work full time in the city, I am in and out to the gym most nights of the week and walking my Westie. I like a glass of wine and a chat but also enjoy my own space. I'm not looking to mother anyone or for a companion. If we get on well then there may be a few more wines and shared meals otherwise I am happy to cook, clean, eat and entertain myself.
Howdy friends, My name is Emily, I'm 19 and I'm studying a Bachelor of Management at Deakin in Burwood. My landlord has just given me notice so I'm looking to move into a new place within the upcoming uni break (I *may* possibly find time to move out sooner, so if you really love me let me know and I'll see if I can swing something!) I work Monday-Friday mornings in Hughesdale and could not possibly fill my time with more AFL than I do at present. I play, umpire, watch, and work at Etihad and the MCG so it's pretty full on but I do really love it. If you also love the weird ball sport we will get along splendidly. What I was mainly trying to get at was that I work enough to pay my rent and bills on time (my landlord can attest to that) but now you know a little about my greatest hobby. I'm either looking for an existing sharehouse or to start a new place with similar friends. I can only sign a 6 month lease because all things going well, I'll be taking off end December to the USA for a trimester abroad. I'd potentially be open to resuming a lease at the same place upon return if we get on like a house on fire (pun intended but can we not burn the house down for real that'd be alright). I drive so the place needs to have some element of parking, off street would be dandy but I'm not fussed. I also love PT and convenience so I'd love to be close to a train station/bus route that takes me to work/uni, but I'm good with logistics so I can always sort something. I can't afford more than what I'm paying now, so the most I could go to would be about $200pw including bills (or less excluding). Location doesn't bother me, I have quite a broad scope. The above listed suburbs are a general reference so if you live anywhere in the vicinity of the inner-ish south eastern suburbs please sing out! Keen to find a new joint with a rad fam. Look forward to hearing from you soon xo PS. the pet is a maybe and it's a frog. I haven't gotten her yet, I've been trying to get her for a year now but getting her set up is more expensive than I'd accounted for. She would live in a tank in my room/communal area if allowed and I'd be completely responsible for her. Your pets are fine with me too!
I'm Jonathan, a 33yo postgrad researcher also working at the uni. My work is based in Southbank. I would love to be in a spot that’s a very simple, easy commute to work. I’ve been making the trip from Geelong for 2.5 years and am absolutely worn out. I’m fun, friendly and have things sorted. I work a lot but otherwise spend time planning adventures with my best Koda, a 2yo golden retriever that will live with us. He's the best (well trained, groomed) and I include him in most things I do.
Hi, I’m Chris. I work in irrigation and water infrastructure. I enjoy sport, keeping active and socialising with friends. As a housemate I’m clean, tidy and respectful. Easy to get along with. Social but enjoy my own space.
Really easy going. Respectful. Friendly. Clean.
I am looking for a room in Melbourne. I hold a master in economy and will be studying law at RMIT while working part/full time. I speak english, french, spanish. I am relaxed, don't smoke or drink and not looking for a party house but a calm environment, non smoking place only. I am taking care of the place where I live in and I am very respectful of others. I love to exercise, practice yoga and to cook healthy food.
I’m a health professional working in Melbourne looking for a tidy, friendly share house with easy access to Melbourne. I keep busy with work, gym and yoga and love to cook and spend weekends at the beach.
Hiya. I am a full time uni student and work full time as a nurse. Love to be around people and cook, enjoy meals together occationally, but also love my own quiet time. I’ll generally either be at uni, work or home sleeping or studying or resting. My partner may be over on weekends to stay too, hopefully not an issue. Looking to rent a room or place somewhere between work and uni. Hit me up if you have any questions!
Just a gal looking for friendly housemate(s) to find a nice place together xx I’m very clean & organised, respectful of your space but always there for a chat! You can rely on me for paying rent & bills on time and keeping communal spaces spotless I work in St Kilda, but currently living in Berwick which is a bit too far away! Looking to move mid year but earlier if possible :)
