A full-time student currently based in Sydney, arriving in Hobart at the end of June for the new adventure. Easy-going and tidy, prefer long-term contact. Would love flatmates who are up for a chat and some regular shared meals, happy to form a teamup, please feel free to contact me :)
I’m a friendly uni student, doing a degree of arts and law. I work part time at a bakery, can make a decent coffee and like a beer. In my spare time I enjoy going to see live music, read lots and like spending time with my friends. Looking for like minded house mates that want to become friends, but also respect boundaries. Wanting at least a six month lease.
Hi! I am a journalist planning on moving to Hobart in late June to study a post-graduate course and I will be needing to find a nice place to live. I have been living with roommates for five years now. I am clean and love running, horse riding and spending time at the beach. I am also from France originally and like to make crepes to share with my rommates and friends from time to time 🥞
I will move to Hobart next month to study. My family has my husband, my 11 months old son and me. We are very clean, neat and always pay rent on schedule. We look forward to renting for about 1 year or more. We come from Vietnam and live in Sydney now.
Hi! I'm Chris, I'm 24 and about to commence a Master of Marine and Antarctic Science and UTAS/IMAS, starting second week of July 2019. I'm moving across from Melbourne, Victoria so I'd like to find a room in a share-house before Uni starts (move in end of June, start of July). I'll be studying at IMAS, Salamanca. Location isn't critical, I ride a bike/have a car (flexible with parking arrangements). My interests include outdoor adventuring (hiking, cycling, slacklining, skiing, swimming, kayaking, rock climbing, bouldering), playing guitar and music, photography, festivals and always up for a chat/drinks/chills. Looking to move in with other postgraduate students. Having worked full time over the past year and a half, I am also happy to move in with young professionals as I am familiar with this lifestyle. Also happy to move in with travellers/misc. Open to other cultures, backgrounds, identities, LGBTQIA+ and alternative lifestyles. My academic interests centre around climate science, global ecology and solutions to climatic and environmental problems. My previous studies focus on medicinal chemistry conducting research within the medical industry - career change due to environmental concerns and interest. I'll be bringing my car over to Hobart, so would be looking for a furnish/partially furnished room. Can contribute to further furniture/appliances later on if required. Prefer a mixed gender household but not a limiting factor. Very clean and tidy, lots of gardening/handyman/maintenance/landscaping experience. Get in contact, happy to chat online/over the phone.
Human Nutritionist studying Agricultural Science. I love camping and exploring this beautiful state we live in. I like living in a clean and spacious environment with happy and outgoing people.
I’m originally from Western Australia. I moved to Hobart in February 2019 for a new job after coming here for a holiday in September and loving it. I have been lucky enough to land in a fabulous share house in Blackmans Bay. We each do our own thing, but on occasion we might share a meal. Often there is just two of us and if I have something extra, the other may pitch in and we create a meal together. We occasionally share in a bottle of wine together if someone has one opened. Sadly, the owner is selling her home and moving back to Canada in the later half of 2019. I had committed myself to stay for 6-12 months. The owner will be putting her house on the market in about August & the furniture is likely to be packed for transfer around September. Now that I'm here and a bit more familiar with Hobart, I am looking around North Hobart, South Hobart Lenah Valley, New Town, Battery Point or Taroona simply because it seems to be closer to the things I have engaged myself with since moving here. Also, living closer to town will allow me to either walk or ride to work, which currently I cannot. For me I am looking for a place that I can stay for a minimum of 12 months. My contract is for another 2 years. I really don’t want to have to invest in household furnishings etc when its unlikely I will be here long term and I'd prefer not to have the stress of moving. It would just be nice to find somewhere that is a good fit so I can enjoy my time here in Tasmania.
Hi I'm Alex and I'm 21 and have just moved down working as an apprentice diesel mechanic in Hobart. On weekends I like to spend time outdoors, playing footy or going mountain bike riding, and dont mind a quiet social drink on the weekends. I'm a clean and respectful person, who pitches in and helps out with all the domestic duties around the house. I'm looking for somewhere to stay in and around the Greater Hobart area, with like minded people.
Hey! I'm Kayleigh, I'm a pom but currently settling in Hobart. I'm very into environmentalism, sustainability, organics, gardening and growing food. Also herbalism, art, getting crafty, and getting overly invested in movies. I do handpoked tattoos, im super social and love to be busy but also truly appreciate my alone time when it comes. I love having friends to stay and chill but I'm not a party person. Would appreciate a place that allowed me to have people over, with likeminded flatmates who dont use single use plastics! Bamboo toothbrush bathroom ayyyee!
