Hi there, We are two Vietnamese girls Kim and Jolly who currently studying full-time at Hobart. We are extremely respectful and tidy since Kim has a dirt allergy so we often clean and tidy up the house. I - Jolly used to live in the USA for 3 years so I'm pretty open-minded and open up to any conversation. We are looking for a private room in Hobart area that is near Utas or the city if possible. We hope we could team up or share the flat. Our budget is $300 per week. Also, it would be great if you could let us have a pet in the near future as we are so lonely here in Hobart. We definitely would ensure the cleanliness of the house. Hope to be your future flatmates. Best, Kim and Jolly
I have recently graduated and am moving from Sydney to Hobart at the end of February for full-time engineering work. I am easy going, but also organised when it comes to payments and keeping things clean etc, so I am searching for flatmates with similar qualities. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, exploring the surroundings, listening to music and reading. I like to chat and socialise, but respect everyone's personal space and privacy. As I will be working full-time, I am not looking for a loud and rowdy party house, just a relaxing place to wind down.
Hi, im haowei, I'm a full time student in UTAS, I'm looking for a room near Hobart city or near Sandy Bay where the Uni located. Looking forward to be your new flatmate!
I’m a full time student with a casual job going into the final year of my degree. I am tidy and easy going. More than happy to share cleaning and cooking responsibilities. I’m outdoorsey and active, and enjoy a relaxed dinner party with my friends. Looking for a relaxed space to study and hang out.
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling the place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles when thair are to many like six I give a few away 😬 I read a lot go mountain biking and I'm pretty handy about the house good at spoting problems befor thay become expensive problems landlords like me I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen much I always like to live in a clean home I'm Clean by nature easy to live with and I like to help out if it's called for. I'm polite never grumpy I really don't get the point of grumpynes it's such a wast of time 😳 I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance. I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, around $200 and $220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you! Regards Alan.
Hi there. I have been living in Sydney for 5 years in shared room and apartment thus I know the duties and responsibilities very well. I am easygoing but at the same time I don’t bother other people too often. I am non smoker nor heavy drinker though I like fun at times. I am coming Hobart to study Commercial Cookery. I love travelling and enjoy cooking. If you like south Asian curries and spices, you are in for a treat coz I can make few 😋😋 varieties. I don’t mind sharing flat or room with honest people. If you have different hobbies, not a problem, I am up for learning new things.
Hey all, I’m a full-time design student currently looking for a place to stay in Hobart. I’m a laid-back friendly guy, dubbed a model tennant by my previous landlords. I have house-share experience and have a wide range of interests and hobbies; I’m able to find common ground with almost anyone. I love a good social outing and will generally be down for a chat, drink or adventure somewhere. As a creative I do value my own space and privacy though, finding it a lot easier to kick goals when I’m able to run on my own time. Currently getting around on a motorcycle, so I do require some sort of off-street parking for the time being (although it takes up next to no space at all).
Hi, We're Sandesh and Chirayu, Indians by heart and world travellers by nature. Arrived in straya a couple of days back to be postgraduates from UTAS with specialization in Professional Accounting and Information Technology. Flexible to any ambience and group. Hygiene- a priority, foodies- big time, can help in a sort of chores. Weekends can be fun- Love to travel, trek, hike, cycle. Looking for two roommates already renting a four sharing place. Feel free to interact.
Hello! I am Maddie, a 24-year-old freelancer in theatre and events. I am relocating from Melbourne to Hobart to start a new job with Dark Mofo. I'm a dog lover, gin snob, keen cook and very excited to explore my new home state. As a housemate, I'm a fan of tidying up after myself and respecting everyone's space, but am always up for a communal dinner, beer or Netflix binge.
I'm a 22 year old currently studying in utas. I used to work full time and lived in quiet a few share houses before and have always loved to interact with people. I'm also clean, simple and adaptable.
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 24, graduated last year from UTAS with a Bachelor of Social Work- currently looking for work in Hobart. I am receiving Centrelink. I like to go for walks and workout at the gym. I also enjoy cooking and baking and will let you try my creations. I am looking for a house that is clean and has friendly housemates. I don't mind the occasional drink with friends and it would be nice to have friends over sometimes. I enjoy being social with others and time by myself. I have a car so need somewhere that has adequate parking. I have my own bedroom furniture so a house with a large unfurnished room near the city would be perfect! I believe I am an honest, clean and a friendly person.
Hello! My partner and I are looking for a room to rent or ability to "rent" a spot for our campervan for 3 months starting in March. We are easy going outdoor oriented folk. Love good coffee, social dinners, funny movies, and anything on or in the ocean!
Hey there, we are Javier and Nicole, a Chilean-German couple. We are looking for a place for us both, ideally close to UTAS. I am Nicole and already in Hobart and doing an exchange semester in Antarctic Sciences. Javier works as a programmer and will arrive in April to do an English course at UTAS as well. We would love to share some evenings with you or hang out during the day, if you're up for it. In our free time we like to go hiking or camping, going out for some beer and nice conversations at night and our newly discovered passion is photography. Javier is into music, computers, and videogames, while I enjoy painting and petting dogs (we don't have one though). We like getting to know new people and are easy to get along with. We are respectful and clean and we hope to find someone likeminded to live with during our time in this beautiful city. Cheers, Javier and Nicole
Hey Guys, I am a PhD research student in Astronomy in University of Tasmania. I work full time. I am 24 years old, single guy, don’t smoke and I’m very clean to live with. I am respectful of others space and belongings. I think of myself as an outgoing, friendly person who is easy to hang out with and I don't mind pets. I love to cook food and don't mind having a drink with my housemates. Most of time either I'll be working from uni or watching Netflix in room. I have previous experiences of living in share houses. So, Please get in touch if you have a space available and you think I might be a good fit. Cheers, Jay
Hi! I'm a 27 yr-old Brit who is working as an environmental research scientist. I'm looking for a place to stay from mid-March, ideally, although will consider other dates. I'm really easy-going and respectful and am looking for like-minded housemates who are up for socialising around and out of the house, but who also understand that people need their own space at times. I'm hoping to live somewhere that has a really friendly atmosphere - I'm looking to make friends, not just for a place to lay my head. I love the outdoors and would love people to show me their favourite hikes, climbs, bike rides and beaches. But also I enjoy city life - visiting art galleries, going out for beers and to gigs for the odd dance. I'm vegetarian (with the occasional relapse when I'm out and about) and play guitar, but you don't need to worry about me doing this at antisocial hours. I'm looking for a room (furnished or unfurnished) that is big enough to fit a double bed and my bicycle and is within a ~20 minute cycle (or 30 min walk) of Salamanca Market. Let me know if you think I'd be interested in your room. I'm also potentially up for teamups.
