Hey, I'm Shane 25 from the England. In love with Melbourne so far! I currently live in Kilsyth so i want to move closer to the city. I am a friendly and fun guy and i can get along with absolutely anybody! Love going to gym, bars, cinema, art galleries the lot. I currently have a few jobs. I work as a crew member around most of Melbourne's major venues doing things like putting up rigging & lights or even a stagehand. So i can sometimes get freebees after concerts finish ;) I am also a music producer and DJ. I treat them like a job and not like a party life style but do have fun from time to time. I like to make sure things are kept clean and in order so no need to worry about keeping a tidy household. Hope to meet you soon! Any questions hit me up :)
- I'm an English graduate working for a Big 4 bank in CBD - I'm sociable, easy going and enjoy playing Football & Hockey - I have to had to move out my house ASAP unfortunately, looking for a fun place to live to work out the end of my contract until September - don't make me go back to a hostel
Hey future flatmates! We are both from Estonia and 21 years old. We are very social but will also of course respect your privacy. We wouldn't describe ourselves as the "party hard" type but we definitely wouldn't mind having some drinks or a BBQ with you from time to time! We are very clean & tidy and always clean up after ourselves. We're looking for a cozy and chill place we could call home during our stay in this amazing city!
Hey my names Aaron, I’m from California on a working holiday visa. I currently live in West Melbourne and work in Kensington as the Tues - Sat bartender. When I’m not working I like to nap, watch Netflix, hangout, and explore the city as I’ve only been here for a month so far! My room Is usually clean with the occasional clothes on the floor, but I always try and keep common areas clean because I’ve lived with people who have left heaps of dishes in the sink, garbage always full, table not wiped and it’s horrible when you go into the kitchen and you have to clean up a mess just to find the spoon you need haha (happened too many times to count). Also I have no problem sharing household items or pitching in for towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. I’m looking for a room between August 1st - 14th to move in as my lease for my current place is up on the 14th! If you have a dog or a cat that’s also a plus. as I love animals. I like trashy reality tv, and going out for food and drinks. Hope to hear from you future roomies!
Hi, i'm Esther, 22 y/o, from the Netherlands. Currently i'm studying at Deakin, but want to enjoy the city life more with all the good restaurants and bars. i'll combine it with some working as well. I'm always in for some drinks, chats or dinner, hope to see you soon!
Hi everyone! my name is Sarah, I'm 25 yo and I'm from Berlin, Germany. Currently I'm doing my master studies and will stay in Melbourne until the end of November for an exchange semester at RMIT. I would love to stay in Melbourne CBD and looking for nice people to share a flat with! I'm really tidy, clean, friendly and uncomplicated! Also I like swimming, going to the gym, exploring new cafés and restaurants, getting around Melbourne and meet new people. So if you have an offer for me I would be more than happy hearing from you! :) Cheers! Sarah
A gal from Canberra moving on to greener pastures for a 9-5 in the Melbourne CBD. I enjoy making Simpsons references, being overly competitive at friendly board games, attempting to stay fit, finding cool places to get drinks, and breakfast foods for dinner. I am looking for a place to live that will give me easy access to the CBD, but also allows for a bit of regional exploring on the weekends since ill be new to the area. I am tidy, considerate, can cook, and not a tight arse. I would be keen to get around housemate activities, but also have my own friends in the city - looking for a place where people are friends and not just living with one another 🙂 tl;dr - tidy and respectful of privacy - easy to get along with - not a homebody, keen to get out and about - wants to live with you
Hi everyone. My name is Claudia Pang currently studying in RMIT Brunswick doing Fashion and Textiles Merchandising. Lately, I have been looking for accommodation based in Southbank area. I would like to move because I am interested in trying to live in a different neighbourhood. If possible, I would like to move in January or February 2019. I am a friendly, organised, tidy person,I go to church every Sunday, and I love browsing around the city. For me, I would keen on team-ups with a housemate in a two bedrooms, one bathroom apartment. And I don't mind to share a bathroom. I would like to have a female housemate who is tidy, willing to share chores and negotiable. Also, I have a plan on signing a lease with agencies, and we will sign it together. As I am a student, my budget is tight. So I would buy the furniture in second hand. Also, the utility expenses aren't included if signing with an agency. So we'll share the expenses together. If you think that you are a good fit. Feel free to hit me up, and we'll have a chat about it. Cheers, Claudia P
Hello Everyone! I’m Fee, a 24 year old business student from Hamburg, Germany. I’m coming to Melbourne to study at Swinburne University for a semester end of July. Prior to starting my degree at the University of Hamburg I lived in England for three years and now after two years in Hamburg it’s time to venture out again! During my time in England and Hamburg I’ve gathered quite some flat share experience and have been told that I make a pretty good flat mate!:) I’m outgoing, tidy and easy to get along with. I love to have a chat or cook together but I also don’t mind if the door is closed :) I am looking to rent a room until end of December so approximately 5 months. If you are looking for a flat mate or have any questions, feel free to contact me! Best Wishes Fee
I am 22 years old from Melbourne! Currently working as a receptionist for a commercial cleaning company and will be studying dental next year :) I am laid back and usually keep to myself most of the time, but I also love to cook and enjoy a drink and Netflix !
I am vegan and believe in sustainability/recycling. I love a natural, holistic approach to life but also maintain that keeping an orgnaised clean environment is very important for a healthy mentality. I spend a lot of time out and about hiking/exploring but would like to share a cup of tea/beer or some yoga from time to time.
My name is Michael, and I am an Aucklander who lived in NZ for over 17 years. While visiting friends, I fell in love with Melbourne and decided to move here last month. I am currently working full-time as a UX designer here. I am a relaxed, clean person who enjoys spending time with friends and exploring the city. I also watch some NBA, like eating anything with noodles, and have casual drinks on Wednesdays.
Hello My name is Amy, I am 29 years old and looking to move into an apartment around Southbank, South Yarra or South Melbourne. I am originally from Perth and lived in Melbourne for 3 years. I run my own business now and work out of a coworking space. Occasionally I work from home but usually like to keep home a place to relax and unwind. Love keeping fit, don’t smoke, don’t drink much (enjoy a red every now and then). Currently live by myself and miss the company, so looking for a housemate who is easy going, happy to watch a movie/share odd meal together and happy to have own space too. I don’t really cook so don’t need to worry about the mess, and like to keep my space clean and clear of clutter. If I sound like a housemate you would like to live with get in contact! 😊
Hello! My name is Chaz and thanks for very much for taking the time to read this. I’m looking to for rooms or creating a start up. I’m moving down from Brisbane to Melbourne. I fell in love with the city when I travelled to Melbourne once a month in 2017 - so here I am. I have brand new Bosch washer (4 star energy rating), F&P dryer (6 star energy rating), fridge (4 star energy rating), brand new 4K TV (4 star energy rating), and a Sofa bed I can contribute to the space as well. In the process of buying more household items as well. So well suited for a start up. I’m specifically after own bathroom and car space. A little about me as a housemate. Positive, passionate, and pretty easy going individual who works as a Physiotherapist and run a web development business on the side which takes a large part of my time - so I will be working pretty hard on this. Generally will keep to myself but I like to socialise as well. Keeping a neat, clean and tidy environment and being respectful is pretty important to me I appreciate the same from others. I not a party goer and prefer similar people. Absolutely appreciate peace, quiet and tranquil vibes. Frequent visitor to the gym around 4-6 times a week. Also a Tony Robbins and a Landmark graduate and would love to mix with like minded individuals if able. If you want to know anything else, just ask. :) Cheers. Chaz.
I'm currently working as a bartender on Flinders. Having recently moved from Brisbane I'm looking to get settled as soon as possible. I'm fun, easy going and just looking for roommates who I can get along with, no drama, pay our bills on time and do our own thing.
I am from Liverpool, England and my Girlfriend Annika is from Estonia. We are a clean and very social couple. We have been living together in a house share for the last 15 months. We are very easy going and love meeting new people. Enjoy the occasional night out and the odd takeaway and film night. Hopefully you will consider us, Cheers Luke & Annika
I am a young professional at my late 20s looking for a room in the city/inner city area (budget: $250 pw including bills). The room is preferably furnished and close to the CBD and/or Uni Melb. I am a clean, tidy, respectful person and enjoy a social dinner/drink with my housemates. I work in finance and am very well traveled. I took a two years international assignment overseas in an iBank and are now back to Melbourne. Flexible move in date but preferably the room is available in the next two weeks. I love playing piano so you will get a bonus upgrade on your classical/pop music knowledge. I also love learning a lot and enjoy reading and therefore we could chat about anything and everything, from Elon Musk to Seneca, or Jordan Peterson to Icarus. I am looking for a home and not just a sharehouse. It's likely I will be one of the best housemates you will ever have based on comments from friends in the past...please PM now if you have a fun loving home to share =)
I am looking for a room for the next 6 months / potentially on going from the start of August or early September. I am usually pretty quiet, I don't watch a lot of TV unless it is as interesting as stranger things or is a doco on animals / crazy world stuff, I love to cook, go to the gym and chill out listening to music. I am an ex pole dance instructor so i will potentially be out a bit getting back into it. I am also wanting to start up MMA/Boxing, so it would be cool to live with someone who might also be into these things. I usually am out and about over weekends unless the weather is cold! I start a full time job in the city at the beginning of August and will be potentially looking for weekend work just to keep myself busy, so I won't be around 24/7. I would like to live with someone/people who are mature but also aren't against having fun and are willing to eat any baked goods i make.... :) I do have a cat I would love to bring with me, but I understand if it isn't a possibility. - I need parking for my lil car - I need to be nearby PT, I'm moving from Ballarat so I am not good at getting myself around without a car (lol!) - At this stage I am not interested in starting something up, as I would like to go into somewhere that has all the amenities i need. - Happy to pay rent just under 300 ONLY if bills/internet/parking is included If you would like to know more or have a room available please send me a message. LG xxx
