Hi, I'm a full time hairdresser originally from Brisbane. I'm friendly, easy going, tidy, shy, respectful of others privacy, love to have fun, go on adventures and explore Melbourne. In my free time I like to relax, read, watch movies, play games and go to the gym. Hope to make lots of new friends :) Thank you! xx
Im very easy going, immaculate, social but also appreciate we need our own space. Honest and trustworthy. Looking to move around late Feb, min 3 mths as Im trying to establish a small business, which Melb is a good base for, but want to move to QLD ... decisions, decisions haha.
I'm very easygoing, and open. I love to get to know people, and especially love talking to people about their problems. I studied abroad in Melbourne Uni last semester and loved it so much I'm coming back!! I am very clean and respectful. I currently live in a house with 9 people, and we all have a little chore sheet and make sure we keep the house nice and clean. Hoping to find a place that is ok with music, I'll be practicing a lot/writing songs, which involves guitar, vocals, piano, etc.. If that's not ok, it's not a deal-breaker. I can find another place to practice :) I will be busking for my income while I'm there. I know that sounds iffy, but last year I made like 100 an hour busking which is one of the main reasons I'm coming back to Melbourne, so don't worry about me being able to cover rent. I love all music (mainly 60's and 70's, but also EDM) I LOVE to go out to clubs and dance. I also really enjoy Melbourne's bar scene and will hit that up occasionally. I like cooking (I'll cook for you!!) and I usually like to kick back and enjoy a nice beer at the end of the day. I smoke sometimes but I can take it outside if need be. I'm from New Hampshire, but have lived in Los Angeles for the passed four years. I'm an undergrad studying psychology and music at University of Southern California (taking a break from studying for an Aussy trip obviously). I'm not super picky about location, condition, situation, or anything like that. Hoping to be closer to downtown/Unimelb though. (I'me the guy on the left in the picture)
Hi there! I'm Marie, I'm 26yo and I'm actively looking for a new home :). I work for Laura Ashley in the office in south Melbourne, and I also do shifts in stores in the city. I'm very neat and tidy, and I think I'm easy going too! I'm French, I've been 3 years in Australia. I love my life in Australia... I start school in February. I'm going to study childcare in the city! I'll be two days a week at school and will work the rest of the week. I love being busy, so you won't see me a lot during the week :) On weekends, i love hanging out with my friends. Please, help me to find a new home :)
Considerate, reliable, friendly, tidy, honest
We are two girls Colombian and Swedish, looking for a house, we are un to be with, we love a good chat and socialise and also we are clean, tidy and respectful.
Hi! ***Looking to move on the 20th of march*** Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. I would like to share a house or apartment with likeminded people who are positive, friendly and enjoy each other's company. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I won't be making loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Hi I'm 28 and from London. This is my third time of living in Melbourne. Looking for a private room in a nice clean house/apartment. I work in hospitality and like to socialise a lot so I tend to be out most of the day. I'm very clean and tidy and considerate to live with. Love to cook and always happy to meet new people. Happy to live with males or females and ideally looking for some where for a minimum 6+ months
A young graduate professional fresh out of uni and straight into the workforce full time in the CBD. Born and raised in Melbourne, but love meeting people from everywhere and anywhere. Easy going, active, and always happy to chat with good mates over beer, wine or whatever you feel like. I try to keep a tidy living space, and respect other people's privacy. Also not a huge club monster, but will have the occasional itch to just let loose. I do however, have a preference for hanging out at chilled bars. Looking for a place close to the city to share with awesome, friendly people.
Hey my name's Lorinda and I'm originally from the Mornington Peninsula and am studying my masters at Melbourne uni so I'm looking for a place nearby. I'm fairly easy-going and enjoy being around people but am not looking for a party house as my studies are important to me. I also enjoy fitness, healthy eating, golf, the beach, gardening and music. I don't have any pets and don't smoke. I also do have a car, so would ideally would be looking for off-street parking. Cheers xx
Hello future flatmates! We are two EXTREMELY good looking backpackers, one Danish and one English who are travelling together, currently looking to settle down in Melbourne for the next 4-6 months. We are both doing labouring at the moment. One full time and the other part time. We are both very clean and tidy, (one borderline OCD). We are extremely friendly and fun to be around, but have terrible homour I'm afraid😬 We enjoy watching sports and casual beers in the sun, as well as an occasional party 🎉 We are two social bunnies but also respect people's privacy and own space when it's wanted ✌️ Would love 2 private rooms, but are happy to share a room, would prefer single beds though😅 Looking forward to hearing from you! - Kris & Kris (Sorry about the photo, accidentally put a pic of myself in a robe and don't know how to delete it😳)
Hi, I'm Llewellyn (or Lewy for short). I'm Australian, currently sharing a place in Carlton, but feel like a change to somewhere with a little more space a couple less people. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, listening to music (fan of Ska, but haven't been to any gigs in ages), walking (and combinations of these, though usually not cooking and walking). Also, catching up on all the awesome TV shows I watch. Fond of card games (almost always have a deck of playing cards with me. Excellent ice breaker), board games, video games, etc. Would love to be living with other creatives (for shared passion reasons), events/hospitality/shift workers (for similarity of work lifestyle) and/or fans of relaxing at home with some good TV. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated.
We have flatted together in New Zealand while we were studying. We have since been backpacking around the world. We both like to play social sports and are searching for full-time work. Danah has been travelling longer than me since she finished uni, visiting Japan, South East Asia and most of Europe. I have had jobs at a bank as well as woorking manual labour jobs in the blue mountains
Hi there, my name is Rachel and I am currently looking for a place around the city of Melbourne and inner suburbs for my boyfriend and I. I am a current student studying Architecture at The University of Melbourne, while my boyfriend, Ravine, is currently working full time at The Hilton. We are looking for a share house to share with a nice group of people that enjoy hanging out but also enjoy their own 'me' time. Here is a little bit more about us: Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a full time student studying architecture. I have lived in Melbourne for only a year but in that short time have completely fallen in love with the city! I enjoy spending most of my time out around exploring the city and going to markets, festivals, live shows and art shows. Hi, my name is Ravine, I'm 21, currently working as a part of the Hilton brand. I'm energetic and love to race BMX, I also enjoy reading and a good games night, whether it's MarioKart or Monopoly it doesn't matter to me. I am a social butterfly who gets along well with a variety of people, and always happy to help out around the place!
Hi there, I'm a student, aged 20, in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne in Politics and Philosophy. I currently work full-time, and will go part-time over semester to ensure I can pay the rent! I've been living in a sharehouse for the last year and a half, and looking to move somewhere that is a bit more spacious near the city and the University. I would prefer somewhere already furnished, but I'm flexible on this point. I'm generally pretty laid back and happy to be as social or as private as my housemates prefer. Not a huge party fan and will check with housemates before inviting people over. I spend a lot of my time working or studying, but happy to kick back with a drink when I get a break. If I sound like a good fit for your house, shoot me a message. Thanks, Corey
Hi Guys, We are Diana and Harold, we're from Colombia. Just looking a nice and private place for us. Something close to CBD, Docklands, Southbank, etc. We are a professional couple, currently we're English language students, trying to enjoy the city, meet new people, enjoy our school and discover all about Melbourne. I'm a Doctor and Harold is System Engineer, I'm 27 years and he has 29, we are quiet and tidy persons. Best regards,
Hi there! We are a friendly and polite professional couple looking for a room close to public transport for 4-6 months. We work long hours so if you're looking for a couple that aren't home a great deal, then we are the flat mates for you! We are extremely polite and friendly, but do not party. We are low maintenance and don't have much stuff, and we don't take up much space in the fridge! We just signed up to Flatmates.com.au and are ready to move in TODAY! Looking for a room that is under $250 per week, including bills. We can't wait to hear from you! Many thanks, Madeline and Carey :)
I am looking for weekend only accommodation. I am a live in nanny from Sunday night through to Friday but am looking for accommodation just on Fridays and Saturdays. This may be in the form of sharing someone's room who works and lives in the city during the week but not at the weekend's.
- full-time student - laid back/ chill - clean, organised, responsible - quiet - minds my own business - understanding - open-minded
Hey there I'm 23, just graduated and moving across to Melbourne from Perth for full time work in banking. I'm hoping to find a room by early - mid February in a sharehouse with good vibes. I'm a friendly, easygoing and tidy gal (I like to think!), who is always up for a chat or a drink but appreciates that everyone needs their own space/privacy as well. In my spare time, you'll often find me at the beach, feasting with mates (I love to eat) or just plain chilling. Feel free to message if you think I'm what you're looking for!
Hi, I would like to live with a matured flat mate/s who are 'neat & clean' and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). Would also like to share meals, chat over a drink etc occasionally - instead of being a person living next door :). I am down to earth and easy to get along with. I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat to see if we will get along. I would like to share with someone who wants to share and not to just looking for saving rent or having a person just to share for the sake of it and not responsible while sharing the place. Someone who is responsible, tidy and matured individual please. While at home, I enjoy watching movies, love to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mate/s, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :). I love to cook and buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing. Like a glass of red in the winters, to keep myself warm. I work in Sales for an IT Software company. I moved back to Melbourne in November 2015 from overseas after 5 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years prior (2000 - 2010) and was working at ANZ Bank and 2 years recently after moving back from working and living overseas. I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities. My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees. I am pretty social and attend most events Melbs offers. I ride my bicycle and explore Melbourne and rest, well you will have to chat with me in person to know more about me yeah? I have my own stuff for the room, (bed, tall boy, side table etc.) and my coffee machine, couple of pans and stuff for kitchen nothing major though and no other furniture, thank you. Look forward to having a chat with you in person as I believe that would be best to grasp if we would get along. Cheers, Chirag :)
Hi! We are Pavi and Manon (English and French) and we are both 20yo. We are exchange students at Monash University. We have been in Melbourne since last July and we lived in halls on campus (Clayton) during our first semester here. However we would like to live closer to the city so we are looking for a place to stay near Melbourne CBD for the next coming months. We enjoy eating (a lot!) so we are always looking for new places to go and eat. We also like to cook ourselves so it would be nice to have flatmates who do too! We are also always up for a drink (or two) with our friends. We are gym buddies so we are going on a regular basis to the gym. Sometimes we also enjoy staying home with a good movies/series to watch. And finally we love travelling and exploring new places around Melbourne! We are easy-going, tidy and clean. We are looking forward to meeting you! Pavi and Manon
I'm a Spanish boy, I stay in Melbourne for study English and life a great experience in this country and to know many people for of diferente country. I like diferent sport like bicycle, gym and I love the motor sport. I like take beer with my friend and know people but my level English is low and can't speak with all people that I would like. I'm 31 year old
My name's Jef (21 Jump Street Channing Tatum voice). 29 years YOUNG (haha) and is an IT Professional working in Southbank. I'm currently looking for flatmates near the CBD as the daily commute from living on the outskirts of Melbourne is driving me insane. I'm pretty chilled out type of guy who doesn't like to complicate things. During weekdays I tend to go to the gym in the morning and finish pretty late-ish at work. During the weekends however, I like to catch up with friends but I also enjoy just chilling at home and playing games. I'm fairly neat and tidy and is prompt when it comes to payments. I was previously living with two other housemates who are also close mates of mine for a good 1+ years. However, since my friend that owns that lease had to get married, we were kicked out. I'm prefer the place that has the following: - an NBN internet connection as I occasionally work from home - car parking space if possible - long term stay if possible
Hi there, I'm from Germany (29) and wanna stay in Melbourne for at least 2 months to work here. I desribe myself as very reliable, friendly, clean and open-minded. I would be super happy to find a flat to live here in Melbourne and have a good time with you guys. Best wishes Enrico
We are two friends who met in student accommodation looking to move out to our own place. Looking for a share house with 2 available rooms, max rent is $250 each. We are responsible and respectful individuals who know how to balance fun and work. We enjoy cooking and watching movies as well as going for drinks but also are in third year, therefore need quiet time for studies.
Hi there my name is Emma, And my cuson name is Michaela, we have been looking for awhile to move into a stable house here in Melbourne preferably two bedrooms spare. It's been a long process trying to get a house here in Melbourne so far very hard. We are both very hard workers and would love to be in a stable home for the next three months if only one room offered but long term if we both get a room of our own here in Melbourne, where Excited st the prospect of meeting new friends in that process. Please anyone choose two cool kiwis. Can move in ASAP.
Hi :) we are two girls from the UK arriving in Melbourne on 21st January and looking somewhere to stay, we aren't certain on the longevity of our stay but most likely 2 - 3 months +. We are both aged 23/24 and we don't mind sharing a room. Both clean and tidy, easygoing and fun. Pm me if you have anything available or would like to share. Thanks
We're both recent graduates from the UK looking to move into one of the central suburbs of Melbourne. We'd love to have housemates we could chill out and enjoy a drink with in the evenings but will mostly be out either working or exploring the city during the days so we won't take up too much space. We're both well house trained and have a Netflix account to sweeten the deal.
2 guys from England looking to stay in Melbourne for 2 months (possibly longer) during our working holiday after travelling SEAsia. Lovers of sport and have been keen to check out Oz for years now. Looking to work in cocktail bars during our stay and will be nice to live in an area for a little while and gain some decent mates too! Very clean and tidy people looking for a chilled place rather than a party house, around $200 each. Both love to cook and are more than happy for group dinners of an evening. If anyone fancies teaming up to get a better place for five or so then give us a shout! Will be nice to find somewhere close to town and a gym wouldn't go a miss.
Hi! My name is Laura (26) an outgoing, sarcastic and easy to get excited Dutchie looking to start a new life in Melbourne far away from windmills and wooden shoes. I consider myself as clean and tidy and i'm pretending to be a great chef even though I have no idea what i'm doing in the kitchen. I love red wine, wondering around town, books, sketching, family guy, movies, music (soft spot for soul), live bands in bars, running, david attenborough, snowboarding, motorbikes and conversations that pass the limits of time. I'm currently having multiple job interviews planned so I hope on getting a fulltime job soon but until than I'm already able to move into an appartment. Am I the roomie you're looking for? Than don't hesitate to contact me for a meetup! Cheers! Laura Ps. I'm carrying around a bottle of rum from Thailand that is meant for sharing on the first day i move in to a new place.. (Just so you know;))
Hi We are a couple who will arrive to Australia in 1 February 2017. We are both doctors, my husband will start a master degree in ACU Melbourne campus and I will engage in a course too we will be both busy studying, and we will spend most of the time outside home. we are both 29, non smokers, easy going, clean, quiet, nice ,funny couple. We love to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. Please contact me if you think we are possible candidates to live in your accommodation or if you want to know any further information. P.S If we find our the accommodation suitable we might extend our stay to 6 months or even a year.
Hi , I'm Lisa, I looking for a private or a share room ( 1 person ) close to the city center of Melbourne. I would like to stay for a long time in the city. I am very friendly and positiv person and I really want to meet people. I hope to quickly find a nice room to enjoy this city :)
We are two British girls, it's our first time in Australia on a working holiday visa. We have been advised Melbourne is the place to be and St Kilda was also recommended, we love meeting new people. We would preferably like 2 rooms but we are happy to share. Thanks
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. I used to be a smoker but I'm not anymore so if anyone smokes it won't bother me, but I don't smoke anymore. (100% honesty?? ok i sometimes allow myself one or two on friday/saturday night if i'm drinking something,but... anyway). if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly! Dario
I'm extremely friendly, outgoing, respectful, clean and I love to do sports. I'm here with a Working Holiday Visa, I'm working and i would like to study to improve my English too. I'm searching forba private room in a shared flat, if you have one free in your flat let me know! :)
hi there, I am Lisa, 26 years old and I am from Germany . I am easy-going, people describe me as warm-hearted, open-minded and reliable. I am going to arrive in Melbourne on the 15th of February (so excited!) and am going to work at the Goethe Institute. Therefore, I am looking for a cozy little room in which I can feel at home. Furnished would be perfect (a bed is pretty much all I need :)). I love meeting new people so living in a shared apartment would be awesome. Currently, I live in a shared apartment with two other girls. We really enjoy cooking together, drinking a cup of coffee, watching movies on Netflix together – simply spending time together.
Hi Future flatmate, I'm Varun and I just turned 26. I'm super easy going, understanding and social. Loves cooking (at least i try) and cleaning is something is my top most priority. I'd like to move in or teamup with the people who are responsible, reliable and keeps the house clean. i respect privacy and expect the same from my flatmates. Not a party boy but occasional outing is always on the calendar. I would never say no to Wine, cheese and a friendly banter. I think about food half of the time. Apart from paying rent and bills on time, i am house trained (been sharing apartments since 5 years) . See yas !
I'm a neat, reliable and great to live with. I work full time at ABC radio in Melbourne, love my work but also enjoying socialising and having fun. I'm mature, considerate and will respect your space.
my name is Dalia I am a humanitarian aid worker I was in Australia already to do a permaculture course, which is sustainable farming and an eco-friendly way if living from August to October 2016 .This time I am coming back to do a Masters of Social Work at the RMIT. My mother is German, dad Egyptian and I speak three languages. Personally, I would say about me that am a very sociable person, I like to interact with people, but also like to spend time alone and respect the privacy of flatmates very much.I like to cook and keeping a place clean is very important to me.I like nice, long walks. I like to party from time to time but not every night...too old for that :)..i like nice interesting talks and meeting new people...could always stay up late for a good midnight talk...but other than that don't stay up too late.
Hi Guys, I'm looking for a place close to the city and public transport. Max $200 per week... Ideally less. I have just graduated university and I am currently looking for a full-time job whilst also completing further study part-time. I am financially stable and always pay bills and rent on time. I have plenty of experience in share houses and I enjoy being social but also my own time. I am very laid-back and easy to talk to. I go to the gym most days and love the healthy lifestyle but I will happily eat domino’s pizza or get Uber-eats. I like going out on weekends or Thursday nights for a drink and dance. Please send me a message if you want to know more :)
Friendly, respectful and very tidy. I'm studying a Bachelor of Graphic Design. I'm from regional Victoria and moving down to Melbourne for uni. I'll be studying full time and have a part time job. If I'm not at school or work I love to hang out on the weekend.
Hello all potential new friends! First of all, please excuse my giant face. Every photo I try to upland somehow turns into a slightly unflattering close up. Anyhow, I am a bubbly and positive human being, currently living on the Sunshine Coast (have a lease here until Feb 9th), looking to make a move to Melbourne as I'm missing the culture and liveliness of the city. I'm transferring from Sunshine Coast to Deakin to study full time starting March. I study sport and exercise science with a passion, and hope to find work in the industry once settled in Melbourne. I love spending my free time in the kitchen, or being active whether it be in the gym, doing yoga, dancing, walks, or general adventuring. Occasionally the couch gets the best of me and I may spend the day binge watching a series on Netflix. I like having a clean and serene space to call home. I do enjoy my "alone time", especially after busy days, but I would love to find a place to share stories and grow into friends with my housemate(s). My partner lives in Sydney, so I would be going away for a weekend every now and then, but I hope to find a place where he would also be welcome to stay over on occasion. I'd prefer to find a room that is already furnished, or at least partially, as my possessions are quite limited. My budget going up to $250 would hopefully include the bills and internet, or at least most of them, though this is negotiable depending on other details - so please don't hesitate to ask! My preferred length of stay of 3 months can extend to be significantly longer if the place is right, but I would like to see how I settle in in the area and if it is convenient for my weekly schedule. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you believe we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards, Anniina
Hi there lovely people! TL;DR: I'm reliable, responsible, and looking for a place to call home. Clarence here. *waves* I’m currently a second year degree student studying communication design (graphic design, really) at RMIT. I work part time in the city at a photography equipment hire company so...guess that means I'm good on rent? (: A 29yo, responsible, easy-going, sociable person who has a good sense of humour; likes the random joke; cooks every now and then (not a great cook but I try, also I’m a student, so it's cheaper, right?); watch way too much TV shows than I should (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Brooklyn Nine-nine, etc.); enjoys the occasional drink (I’m a light drinker/asian flush); not big on parties (you can host your own if you want, I don't mind); loves to cycle (cheaper than getting fines from tram hopping); would love a chat at the end of the day yet am respectful of your personal space and a problem solver (not that you would have any, but that's a good to know); loves coffee (and a secret tea drinker). A nice person to hang around with (or at least no one has told me otherwise). For the rest of my time, I like to keep myself active by going for bicycle rides, runs and cafe hopping (not necessary in that order). I love photography and all things creative. My main mode of transport is by bicycle which takes me to most places. Oh, and I am tidy, non-smoker, and dislike leaving mess about the house and am very respectful of your personal space and belongings. A clean as I go kind of person. So don't you worry. Currently out of town and will be back in the first week of Feb. Feel free to chat/text me If I fit the profile you're looking for. Hear from you soon! Thanks and have a good one! :D
I have just moved back to Australia after living in France for a little while, and am looking for a quiet home where I can relax after work and study. I am warm, mature, close to my family and enjoy exercise. I am clean and tidy, and love to cook.
My name is Jamie, I'm 25, from Ireland and work full time. I am a clean, tidy and respectful person. I have lived in numerous share houses so I respect people's privacy and I am always on time with rent/bills and not afraid to pull my weight with household chores. I enjoy going to the gym, working out and going out for dinner and some drinks at the weekends.
