Hi there! Student at Monash Uni doing law, and working part time. I'm generally pretty busy, but am pretty social and love talking over a drink/food! Lived on my own for almost 4 years, so am very well trained - clean up after my self, can keep noise to a minimum, and am generally understanding and approachable.
I'm a working holiday visa holder from Shanghai, China. I was a fashion buyer before coming to Austrlia, love fasion, love music, love taking photographs and also free lifestyle. It's great to make more new friends and get to know Australia better during my stay. Hope to share house with you!
g'day mates, my name is tim i am 19 years old and yes i am a back packer from germany. i am very open minded to new stuff so I like to meet some new people and want to learn about the australian people as well. that's the reason why i am looking for a room right now. my hobbies are surfing and longboarding and my plan is to work here in melbourne for a couple of month until i earned enough money to travel. for this time i prefer to life in a flat.
HI! We are two housemates currently living in a student hostel but are now looking for two separate rooms in a more permanent and homely place. Preferably just outside the city, with independent housemates that also enjoy the occasional communal dinner, good movie, night out or just a casual chat over a glass of wine. Hi i'm Lynn. I'm beginning my third year of architecture next year, I'm really passionate about it and probably talk about it a little too much... I'm originally from the Netherlands and speak Dutch fluently, but I grew up in Australia. In my free time I enjoy; drawing and other artistic pursuits, exploring new bars (and the occasional club) with friends, interesting conversations, drinking coffee at a nice cafes and reading a good book in the botanical gardens. I'm vegetarian and enjoy baking when i have the time. I also love to travel, I’ve seen a lot of Europe and have always wanted to go to South America. Hey, I'm Odessa. I'm about to start my second year of uni, studying visual arts at RMIT. I also work part time for COM doing school crossing supervision/admin work...If you don't know what that is, it's a lollie pop lady haha weird job for an 19 year old I know. I also enjoy playing the ukulele and singing but dw I won't keep anyone awake. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast so I love sun baking and going to the beach when I can.
I'm an international student, currently studying a master degree in professional accounting. I spent most of my time studying at home or the library. I'm working a part time position in audit and i'm about to start studying to get my vic drivers license, even though i can drive with my Ecuadorian driver's license. I'm a calm person and the only thing really important for me is respect, i know what sharing a house involves meaning that you need to respect other people space and time i don't like people i share with bringing more people over for drinks during week days until late night cause i need to sleep to get up early for work and uni. Maybe a friday or saturday it's fine. I'm more a movie at home type of person or go to the beach on weekends and do some sightseeing around Melbourne. I love to live in a clean tidy environment wich means i leave the kitchen and commons spaces clean and i expect to find it the same way. So basically respect is the most important. If i find the right place i will stay one year at least or more.
Hey I'm Mary! Currently looking for a room as my housemates in West Melb are moving home to Perth. Working full time @ Monash Uni, otherwise I'm at the gym or out with friends. Super easy going, friendly and clean! Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks xx
Hi :) I am Maya mid 20's, Brazilian and my boyfriend is Viv early 30's, Australian. We are both responsible, happy, respectful and easy going. Both non smokers and are very clean people used to live in shared houses. We have recently returned to Melbourne after spending a couple of months in Brazil and have no fixed home and no concrete plans. We are currently looking for a place to live for a couple of months from February. We can be flexible, but at least 3 weeks would be nice. Camping, traveling, movies, video games, chilling or hanging out with friends is how we like spending our weekends. Also enjoy an occasional wine/beet afrer work or a few drinks on the weekend. We are both adaptable, responsible and we will still have our 9 to 5 jobs in Melbourne CBD and this is the reason we are looking for something as close as possible to the centre/ max 20min by train/tram. Feel free to msg here and let us know if you have any questions at all Cheers Maya&Viv

Hi everyone ! I'm a spanish student, born and living in Switzerland. I've just finished my bachelor degree in marketing, communication and public relations and now it's time for me to improve my english. I'm relatively organized, I cook basic food and some desserts but above all I love to prepare gin-tonic and cuba libre drinks in a maniacal way ;-) I have no problems to share cleaning or cooking task and obviously bills. I will be really pleased to share moments like dinners or drink a glass of wine (or two) speaking with my flatmates ! Also can teach a little bit of french, spanish or italian (also a good way for don't forget them). Don't hesitate to contact me for any question. Julio
Hey ladies and gents! I'm Bethany! I'm 20 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne at the start of the year from Albury/Wodonga. I currently live in West Melbourne, however my lease ends soon so I am looking for somewhere new! I work in Docklands, so anywhere nearby or close to the city is where I'm looking, (somewhere that won't take me more than 30 mins to get to work) however I do not drive at the moment so somewhere close to public transport is necessary! I am a very friendly and easy going person. I am very social, love having a laugh and going out and doing things to keep busy! I go to the gym, and I head into the city quite a fair bit. I am also a tidy person (not OCD but i know how to be clean), and I respect other peoples surroundings. I work 5-6 days a week and on weekends I like to catch up with friends, go to the footy (go cats), or head out! I promise I am a great person to live with :) I would love to find somewhere I can call my home!

Hi there My current lease is ending just before X-mas so I am looking to start a new one in the first week of January. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD and surroundings. I have been living in Australia for over 6 years and prior to that I lived in the USA for 10 years. During my initial years in the USA, I was a graduate student. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. Yes I do like cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment need to be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Hi guy My name is Marine I'm French and live in Melbourne for a bit more than a year now. Unfortunately I gotta leave my own apartment 26th December maximum this is why I'm looking for a new apartment anywhere in the cbd or Southbank (only in my current building tho which is the prima pearl tower). I can't really afford to live by myself anymore this is why I'm looking for someone to take another apartment with me :)))) Basically a 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms would be the best ! I'm very clean always busy doing my own shit catching up with my friends.. I won't do massives parties at ours also I don't wanna live with someone boring if I wanna invite my boyfriend (yeah i might have one, one day, lol) to spend the night the person I live with would have to accept it. Same for you if you wanna invite your bf/Gf at home I'll not have any kind of problem with that. I'm pretty fun; chill :) I wanna live in a fancy building like prima pearl or EQ tower I couldn't live in a building with no view, no pool, no gym nah that's definitely not me. If you feel that we could be good flatmate and have our own apartment together feel free to message me :)))) Love
I am from Indonesia. I am going to Melbourne to work as a pastry cook as part of my study. I am looking for a place in or around Southbank where I can go by walking or public transport. I am planning to move in late December. I am friendly but I won't disturb people. I am a non smoker and can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I love movies so we can watch movies together :)
Hi guys ! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 350 AUD. We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers ! Vince and Manami
I am looking for a place to rent in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne with easy access to the CBD, I am interested in either renting a private room or starting a share house with somebody. I have lived in share-houses for the past 3 years so sharing a space is not a problem. I work in the CBD as a travel agent and also study 2 days per week in the CBD. Paying rent and bills on time is never a problem. Please feel free to contact me if you have something available or would be interested in renting a place together and we can go and grab a beer or some dumplings ;)
I'm not a stereotypical drunken Scotsman. Well, I do love a drink but that's not the point. Seriously though, I'm in Melbourne as a backpacker and since my friends are all leaving (it's not me, honest!) I need somewhere to stay with some awesome people. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and a trustworthy person. I'm not as boring as I make myself sound though; I'm sociable and love a laugh and good conversation. At the end of the day I'm a very laid back person who you'll have no bother getting on with!
Another kiwi over here working in the city. Keen to meet people and enjoy myself. I love going to gigs (mostly rock and metal gigs) and going out for chill drinks with mates. Also play videogames and would love to meet people to jam them with.
We are an outgoing couple from Scotland who love to socialise, travel and meet new people. We are both on working holiday visas. I, Olivia am working as a waitress and my partner Robert is a professional chef (who loves cooking a good family meal ;)). We are both in our early twenties and looking for a modern house with easy going, clean flatmates. Ideal location would be CBD, Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond, Southbank, South Yarra or Prahran (open to options). We move out our current flat in Richmond on 2nd January 2017 and REALLY dont want to go back into a hostel. :)
My name is Sol, I'm 26 years old and work hospo. I work a lot, and go out a fair bit but I would love to find a home where I can spend time with my flatmates cooking, drinking of binging a show on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Age is only a number but I would like to live with mature people that can take care of themselves and the house. A part from that, I'll be happy with anyone. I'm pretty tidy, clean and quiet. I've been living in Melbourne since 2012 and intend to stay, I'm after a long term accommodation and would rather not changing flatmate every month. I'm not really good at describing myself but message me if you want to know more.
I am a Bartender from the U.S. currently on a working holiday visa. I am super easy going, and easy to live with. Very clean and tidy, and I respect others privacy, I don't make a whole lot of noise. I am looking for a single room that is furnished, I do not want to be sharing a room. Love to be outdoors and having fun!
Hi there, My name is Bobby (25) from the Netherlands. I love, live, strive and full of life Explorer, traveler, satisfied, happy and content packed a bag 6 months ago and went for my quest for quality of living! Spend the last six months in India where I impulsively decided to go to the land of OZ. I'll be working here: Belgian Beer Café Melbourne & market stands. Having me as a roommate is not flat, but uplifting. I love to share my personality with yours. So pick any extension from who I am and I share them with you: - Massage therapy - Music (percussion, guitar, flute, didgeridoo) - Photography - Poetry - Galactic conversations - Kindness - Stories - Books - Open mind and open heart Hope to see you soon! :)
Work full time 9-5, Southbank in Human Resources. Looking for laid back house with a little room for a motorbike and surfboard. Car parking would be great also. Generally flexible about my day to day I like to cook healthy meals and go to the gym regularly.
Hi my name is Courtney and I am looking at moving to Melbourne in February. I am studying full-time and working part-time. I'm sociable and I like to get along with my other flat mates but I also enjoy some chilled me-time. I'm tidy and respectful and look for the same in my future flatmates. I'm not certain on which area I would like to live in but I would like to be somewhere with an easy commute into the city.
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (I'm a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself.
I am new to Melbourne and will be working full-time come January. I have previously lived in Bangkok and Singapore. I'm a very clean, tidy, and easygoing housemate who enjoys spending time at home watching TV shows and cooking light meals. I like my home to be a place to unwind and relax rather than a party place. Looking for like-minded housemates who can make home a fun place to live, hangout with, yet are mindful of each others' privacy. Also great if you're happy to explore Melbourne with me! :) x
