I’m a easy person to live with and friendly... I like to maintain the house clean and also I have a pretty busy routine! I’ve been sharing places with friends since I was about 20, so lots of experience haha (especially common sense!) it’s a big thing, believe me. 😅 I’m a very chill person and I enjoy having my time alone, but sometimes I’m open for a chat, share a meal together, watch a movie, or even go for a walk around a park after work. I like to exercise and try to be healthy on week days. But we can have an occasional pizza and wine (I don’t mind) haha
I'm a Kiwi, relocated in July. Currently in a share position in Laverton but when lease expires in November, will be moving less far away. I work in East Keilor, Parkville, and by appt in Yarraville so while I love this side of town, I need a few less train stops. I'm a practitioner of a health modality you've likely not heard of - very simply, I locate and release surprise impact from bones and the sensory shock system. This is new to Australia, so at the time of writing (August) have also two other part-time jobs - for both networking and self-suffiency reasons. By November, I will have only one of them and would love to live in a place where I could cook, pull some weeds, read or write in a sunny spot and pat a cat on my down time. (I don't have any animals, but I miss my cat and am amenable to small dogs). I've owned my own homes for more than half my life so know how to look after one, and I love to know someone is coming or going to say either a quick hello or share a meal on occasion. I'm apparently 'mature' having reached the half century mark, am environmentally aware, socially responsible, culturally open, fairly well travelled, reasonably educated, and like to bring flowers into the house. I don't smoke, and prefer no beer swilling rugby events in the lounge room, so if you do neither of those things it'd be lovely to meet you and see if we could share a space :)
Just received a notice to vacate after happily living in seddon for three years at the same property! Naturally will come with positive real estate referral. I am simultaneously looking for rentals to apply for with my current housemates also but figured I should put the feelers out to see what the rental options are or if anyone wants to team up. I'm a 31 year old student who is moments away from completing a diploma of community services and social work and plan to continue my studies in 2019, most likely psychology or social work. I work part time in hospitality so am financially secure and have a positive life/work/study balance. I come with a 12 year old cocker spaniel named romy who has been toilet trained since she was three months old. I love cooking, motown, sewing, craft beer and catching the odd gig or two. I go by a live and let live mentality and happily co-exist with people from different walks of life. Pet friendly is HARD to find so though I have three months notice I'm eager to confirm an opportunity when it arrises. Thank you! Lily
Ciao! I am Italian and I love cooking. I have been in Melbourne for 7 years now and I work full time as a photographer in West Footscray. I have been sharing houses for a decade and I am very respectful, clean and tidy. I also love a good cleaning roster/would adopt whatever set up you already have. I'm a pretty quiet person in general, but I also enjoy hanging out with housemates. I usually leave in the morning and I come back around 6. If you have any other question please let me know. Thanks
I'm a 28 year old working full time in the city. Interests include football, socialising, running, outdoor activities, reading and music. Very generic I know. Fairly clean and house-trained. Would like to have housemates that are cool to hang out with and have a wine or two after work but at the same time respect each other's space and privacy.
Hi I’m Nath. I work in warehousing and distribution for an imaging supplies company. My greatest passions are : music, art, cycling and most things active and catching up with mates. Unfortunately my awesome flat mate is moving in with her partner, bringing to an end a very blissful and happy share set up. However, I look forward to sharing again with likeminded people. People that are good communicators, fun and easy going and who are generally kind hearted.

I’m 29 and I’ve lived in Melbourne for a year. I Work 9-5 in a government job in the city. I’m a friendly respectful person who always pays bills on time and is happy to commit to my share of the housework.
We're neat and tidy, we usually keep to ourselves but we're always up for a chat! Harmony works part time, and is looking to study full time during next year. Joshua is studying full time!
Hi my name is Stacey I'm 26, I'm in aged care nursing, so I do shift work. Would prefer something quite but open to move around and not be confined to a bedroom, not really looking for a party house but I do like to partake in a night out or a bottle of wine. I work often and am always trying to further my studies. I do enjoy to cook alot so having a decent area to do so would be highly desirable for me. I'm pretty open to most people and only hope that my roommates might share similar ethics and general respect for the house hold. If possible I would prefer a house with out door pets if there's is pets I'm very animal friendly but prefer not cleaning furr out of my clothes all the time. Looking forward to hearing back. Thanks
Will be moving over from WA soon, (sometime from mid sept to mid oct) currently employed in tunneling industry & coming over for long term work. Seeking temporary accomodation for about three months until I find my own place. I’m Easy going, polite, enjoy a drink & being social or happy to keep to myself. Will go with the flow 🙂. My work will be 12hr shifts 7/3 7/4 rotating roster including night shift. This shouldn’t affect anyone as I sleep with ear plugs in on N/S and shift times will be 6-6.
I'm friendly and easy going, alsoI respect others own privacy. Like to read books, share a nice meal, conversation and since English is my second language I'm keen in learning it as much as possible. Enjoy a few beers every now and then with nice music( very open and interested about hear and discovered new songs). Well, looking for nice people to share and moreover get a place to call home.
I have a positive outlook and sense of humor and wise counsel attributes. I am a part time accountant (but with personality) and have lived in the western suburbs of Melbourne all my life with Family living close by I enjoy all sports, horse racing, gym, reading, live music and dining out Equally happy staying and reading a good book or the weekend newpapers
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 21 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Enjoys a good time out just as much as a good time in. Full time worker, play footy during winter and lives outdoors during summer. I think I’m funny even though I don’t usually say much. Helper, clean, respectful & always up for anything.
Hi Everyone, 50 year old professional straight guy. Spend most of my spare time outdoors engaging in endurance sports such as trail running, triathlons and mountain biking. When not out training or exploring, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, markets and winery trips. All this means I am not home much, however I am house trained and house proud, owning a few properties myself in NSW and QLD. Not into drugs of any nature and only occasionally have a few drinks. Not looking for a party house however am hoping to find a mature, fun, lively environment, clean and organised - a place to call home! Over the past 8 years I've shared with one other in various different homes, with each lasting over 1.5 years - ranging from girls in their 20's to 40's, including a mum with her 8 year old son, a guy and his girlfriend etc. Usually out of the house by 6am and often not back much before 7pm. Have National Police Clearance Certificate (NPC) and references. Thanks Andrew. PS - thanks to the dozens of people who have contacted me offering a room in a share houses that will be occupied by 4 people and more. Whilst I appreciate the offers and promises of order, cleanliness, and no anti-social behavior or sad sacks, for the last 6 years I've always found a place living with just one other person and prefer to pursue this option for the time being. Thanks again.
We are both easy going and kind people who take others into consideration when living with them. We clean up after ourselves and are Pretty good at keeping on top of it. We both currently work with food, so we're good cooks as well!
I'm an easy-going 25 year old guy from India, working full time in Melbourne. A non-vegetarian too. My clients are based in Melbourne CBD (I'm a tech consultant), so I'm looking for an accommodation preferably near to CBD or may be near to a train station since I don't have a car yet (I'm totally new to Australia). I'm a smoker, but I am also a clean person. Non-judgmental and understanding. I blend in with people easily. I'm very responsible when it comes to doing my share of the household work, paying rent/bills, etc. I don't have pets but I'm totally fine with them being in the house. I respect your privacy & quiet-time and expect the same from you too. Perks of living with me: 1. I've a couple friends who are pursuing their masters in Melbourne. You get to socialize with them, their friends and so on (on weekends), if you want to. 2. You get an ensemble of recommendations about trending and amazing Movies/TV Series to binge on. 3. A lending ear to your problems and tons of free and good advice whenever you need it. 4. One stop solution to all your PC problems. I love fixing Windows PCs/Laptops. So if you ever got a problem, you know what to do. 5. Exceptional critic and reviewer when it comes to patching up job resumes, blog articles etc. 4. You get to taste a lot of Indian dishes and be a part of several experimental cooking recipes. Don't worry about the spices, I'm versatile :) Don't hesitate to know more.
Hi. I'm very quiet homebody, I like a tidy house and go to bed very early because I work at crazy o'clock in the morning(4:45am). I do tend to stick to my room in sharehouses and I don't have people at my house very often I have a beautiful 16 year old cat that has to come with me but can stay in my room if need be. He is amazing he'll only scratch the scratching post never furniture or humans and won't bite. I'm looking for other flatmates that similar, that don't socialize at home and are quiet
I'm currently studying a bachelor of Health Sciences at Deakin University, however i'm planning on doing a masters in Audiology next year at Melbourne University. I come from Horsham orginally and i've been living on the residence at Deakin for the past 3 years, however now i need to move off and that is why i am looking for a place to live! I'm a really fun and happy guy and I really enjoy a lot of things. I love reading, writing, hanging out with friends, exercising, playing sport, watching Disney, watching other movies and tv shows, and watching musicals, and so many other things. I really like doing so many things and that's why i think people find it really easy to get along with me because i have something in common with everyone and there's always something that i enjoy to do with each person i meet. I'm a very clean and tidy person, so you won't have to worry about me leaving clothes everywhere or have hair shavings in the bathroom sink or have a really high pile of dishes to be cleaned. I'm also a very hard working student. I spend time studying because i like doing well in everything i do and i like learning new things (ps i'll always be open to learning new things and skills from anyone, for example if you know how to make a chair or play an instrument or how to do art or something like that i would be keen to learn!) I look forward to meeting my new roommate/s!
After 12 months working in London I am returning to a job in Melbourne working Monday to Friday in the government sector, so am out of the house during the week. I am tidy and reliable housemate and respectful of housemates and privacy. I enjoy socialising outside of the house including going to movies, eating out, gigs, swimming, playing tennis, walking and travelling. Please note my preference is for a shorter term rental, several months.
We are from Chile, we've come to study english for one year or maybe more :) We love meet new peoples from other cultures and share own.
I've been renting all my life (both rooms and apartments/townhouses) and know what makes a good flatmate: reliability; cleanliness; freindliness; respect for other people's preferences. I'd like to think I get a big tick on all four. Although I'm currently looking for work having just moved here from Canberra, I have a guaranteed income of $500 from another source. So, money isn't a problem. I also have a washing machine and some exercise and gardening equipment (treadmill, spin bike, lawnmower etc.) in storage that I could bring if wanted. I am considering going back to university/study next year (used to study Arts/Science at the ANU in my late twenties). I would prefer a friendly but reasonably quiet house as I do like to be able to relax where I'm living. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers! :)
Hi, I am an easy going and considerate bloke who respects everyone's space. I’ve lived in share accommodation for many years, so understand the boundaries, respect and courtesy that come with sharing a home. I work as an IT consultant in the city and looking for a room on walking distance to station and close to CBD. Looking for something long term and enjoy building friendship with great housemate. Usual weeks I am busy at work and spend some me time at home afterwards. However, I am always up for detailed discussions with interesting people. On weekends, I catch up with friends, play table tennis, soccer, or go for hiking if weather permits.
Hello, My name is Janet and D.O.B is 25, looking for a one bedroom to rent. I'm a Disability support worker, Who work part-time. Monday to Friday. I am a friendly and clean person, Who will love to rent one room from you. I won't be around at night because I work night shift, be back at 10am. So so no need to worry about me making noise 😊. I'm a nice and cool person. #happy smile 🤩
Massimiliano I'm looking for a private room , NO SHARE ROOM :) I'm Massimiliano from Italy, I work full time , I've got two jobs, I manage a gym in Collingwood and a Small restaurant in Footscray and I study part time at Melbourne uni. I'm a profighter and I work out very often. I recently lost my licence and I currently live in Balwyn so I'm just looking for a new place closer to transport and to the beach possibly. I love the sunshine , the run on the beach path and would be great to move in a spot Next to Stkilda, port Melbourne or South Melbourne, williamstown, newport. Pretty much just close to the beach. I'm looking for a nice place, with a decent size room, I dont mind paying a bit extra for a proper nice place. a share HOUSE would be the best. I'm very organized and really tidy, a bit OCD and I hate dust haha I like to clean on a sunday, it relaxes me. Hit me up if you've got something
Hi, I'm Leanne, I'm from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician. I work long hours Monday - Friday so I don't get up to too much during the week, except for 1 or 2 nights soccer training. I'm clean and respectful, social but also like my own space.. I'm moving out of my place because I'm the only one that cleans. My housemates are pretty dirty and lazy just like my last houseshare so really hoping this one will be 3rd time lucky! I'm not ocd when it comes to a clean house, just normal!! I'd like to live with housemates that I can have a couple of beers with and the odd dinner. I've got a shy, timid cat called Frankie who is well behaved and house trained. She'll be a cool housemate too 😊
I am easy going, respectful, love to have a laugh. I am up for a household dinner or drink every now and again. Neat and tidy, will do my part and am responsible with what needs to be done(punctual and trustworthy). I respect privacy because I expect the same. I am LGBT friendly, am super friendly and approachable. I am not a party animal but I don't mind every now and again. I can be a night owl sometimes but like peace and quiet as well as a bit of party sometimes but not often. I am 21 in November. I am studying music full-time in Yarraville(next to Footscray) and work Part Time in Caroline Springs(however wherever I move I will look for a job closer). I do not drive yet but am aiming to get my licence soon. I have a partner but am looking to live by myself although he would come over sometimes, but is very respectful. I would prefer a large room but NOT 100% necessary. I just need a place to store an upright piano, disassembled drum kit, and maybe some some other small things. The reason I am looking for a place to stay is because my family has moved to Sydney not long ago and I am staying here to work and study further. If you'd like to know anything else, message me for my number and I'll be happy to answer. Look forward to speaking to you!
Im pretty chilled out. Like to make music and I do kickboxing in my spare time. Work hard and reliable on bills etc.
Hi, my name is Eva and I am a 33 year old Primary school teacher. I have recently moved back to Melbourne from Broome in Western Australia and am looking for a place to live in either Newport, Williamstown, Yarraville or any nearby areas in the west. I love keeping fit by running and hiking, however I do enjoy a glass of red with plenty of chocolates. I’m a housemate that is tidy, happy to share meals and chats together, but also enjoys own downtime- especially after being in a classroom with lots of little people. Happy to meet for a coffee to discuss any future housemate plans :)
I am a fun-loving, bubbly, social 26yo with the worlds most awesome dog ;) I enjoy a chat, good banter and hanging out, but also like to spend time alone and respect my housemates privacy. It's not unheard of for me to be silly at times - not like, 'burn the house down' kind of silly... more like, 'dance to a rap I've made up about broccolli while I cook dinner', kind of silly. I'd love a housemate who will join me in these random moments of genius, and who is up for a bit of conversation and fun also :) I'm adventurous and will give anything a go. I love to hike, ride dirtbikes, travel to random places, snowboard, care for wildlife, play ice-hockey and participate in pretty much anything outdoors! The worlds most awesome dog who accompanies me is named Bentley. He is a 5yo Dogue de Bordeaux. He enjoys candle-lit dinners and long walks on the beach... He also loves my sense of humor. He is a big sook who will take pats all day and enjoys company from anyone/anything. He loves most other beings, but he especially loves people! He is house-trained, always excited to see you but has the attention span of a teaspoon so gets over it and chills out pretty quickly. He's great company and sleeps on his bed next to mine of a night. Bentley and I would love a house with a nice grassy backyard, where our housemates will be happy to give him a pat here and there, and where Bentley can snuggle up at my feet while we watch tv at night or just hang-out in general. I am very clean and tidy, and vigilant in picking up after him. (He tells me that doing that for himself would destroy his street cred, so I take one for the team). Basically, we're quite the catch! And would love to hear from anyone who thinks we might live in harmony :) Move date: I am available to move in after Sept the 8th, but don't have to move in immediately if your place isn't ready yet. Length of stay: I would like to lock-in somewhere that I can live for at least 6 months minimum, and if all goes well would love to stay longer :)
