Hi I’m Lisha & I’m moving to Newcastle, from my hometown Dubbo, to start university. I’m a very tidy person who always cleans up after herself because I hate mess. I love to have fun & socialise but also need time to myself so can respect anyone else who is the same. I have family in Newcastle that I love but am needing some independence so living without them is something I’m excited for.
I might be older but still feel like I'm 30! Had major setbacks in my life but still optimistic and get along with people of all ages. I'm trustworthy, honest and have a great sense of humour (being a pommie helps). Interested in sport, art, animal lover and enjoy good company not a big drinker but enjoy wine with dinner ect.
Hi there! My name is Bronte and I am looking for a new place to call home in central Newcastle. I work full time in media and consider myself a very sociable person outside of working hours. I love wine (I used to make it!) as well as good food and love meeting new people. I am very respectful of others space and am very sure to clean up after myself. If you think I would fit into your household environment please don't hesitate to contact me! I hope to hear from you!
Born / Bred in Newcastle done my living away travel, just focusing on work now and want to live close to town/easy travel for work. Clean ,tidy, honest, reliable, love food, wine, camping and chill time. I have a dog Wallace he is my King Charles he goes wherever I go, he loves everyone and eveything.
Hey I am looking for a place for after I graduate in November. I am an Engineering student currently working in Beresfield whilst finishing off my FYP. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time. I often get up quite early so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
NEWY/WICKHAM I have previously shared with 27 and 30yr old guys.that worked well because we were all clean freaks. Ha Looking for a unit above street level need sunny balcony, don't care about view. Will consider a fresh team up with right person/ people. I may be older, but this means I'm settled and financially stable. I am a retired high school teacher, looking to share a unit with my own bedroom and ensuite. In and around Newy/ Wickham. No car space required, non smoker, no pets, no children, no partner, generally mind my own business, and clean up after myself. I can be trusted and not a sticky beak. I value my own shelf in the fridge and small space in the pantry.
Moving from Adelaide with my partner as i have just accepted a Job in Newcastle as a Veterinarian. We do not know anyone in the area so are looking to make new friends and are excited about the next chapter in our lives. We are both easy to get a long with, love a laugh, are active and enjoy sports.
I am looking to move to Newcastle in May 2018. (A while off I know, putting the feelers out now!) I currently live in country NSW and will be moving to Newcastle to be back near the beach/sea. I work FT as a Production & Graphics Manager for a Promotional Merchandise & Signage company based in Sydney. I have been working remotely for the last 2 years and would consider renting 2 rooms (bedroom + office/ study) in the house or can rent an office externally. I am originally from country NSW however, have lived in Sydney for 20 years and overseas. I have travelled locally & abroad extensively, I love the sea (and miss it!), love to cook, have a laugh and am generally calm and laid back. I keep active by going to the gym, access my creative side through wood carving and volunteering for local organisations. I love gardening, growing my own herbs and veggies is a must! I am looking to move to Newcastle as I have a few friends there, and every time I visit I enjoy myself.. plus it is coastal (and not in Sydney! haha :-))
I'm friendly, clean, quiet and super easy to live with, but I'm also down for a few drinks and a good time when the occasion calls for it! I don't smoke or have any pets, but I'm more than happy to live with people who do smoke or have pets.
I'm currently living in Newcastle for work and need a place to stay! I work full time but also love going to the beach. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. Not much of a party person but love to socialise with my housemates if they're up for that.
I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff
Hey, I'm a clean, respectful 31 year old male and I work full time. I am quite and I don't party as I am a single dad to a beautiful 1 year old who I share care of (roughly 50/50) my main focus is to work and provide a safe, stable environment for my daughter.
Hi, I’m Shane, I’m moving from Wollongong to Newcastle because I want a bit of a change and Newcastle is as far as I can move away while keeping my current (great) job. Not only do I need somewhere affordable to live while I tie up loose ends and settle in, it’ll also be good to experience the whole housemate thing, I’ve lived on my own from the get go and it kind of feels like I’ve missed a rite of passage. I’m an easy person to get along with, I have a good sense of humour, I’m friendly enough but I like my me time as well. I’m pretty tidy and I’m well practiced at doing household chores. I’m not a culinary master but I enjoy cooking and I’m ok at it. I work as a (passenger) train driver, I am a shift worker and I don’t expect anyone to be silent when I’m sleeping at odd times but I’m probably not suited to a (constant) party house. I try to be healthy and when I have spare time I’m usually off on long walks on a beach or cycle track or anywhere interesting, I also do a bit of traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m hoping to live somewhere convenient (shops/transport/beach) but one thing that I definitely need is a parking space for my car. I would also hope to live with friendly people of a similar age that are reasonably tidy. I’ll be staying (in temporary accommodation) in the Newcastle area from the 26th of November and will be happy to meet potential housemates anytime from then.
Hey! I'm be moving BACK to Newcastle from brisbane on the 12th of december. I'm a disability and mental health support worker, a mental health life coach, and a student. I'm friendly, i get along with everybody, I'm tidy. i love health and fitness, mountain climbing, travel, music, art, blogging, tattooing, and plenty of other stuff. looking for a place in the city and close to everything as i don't have a car at the moment. i am also looking for a furnished room, but i will definitely consider unfurnished as well. my plans are to stay in newcastle for a minimum of 4 months but could turn into 20 years. I will cook you a great feast during my occasional moments of creative inspiration.
Friendly country girl, just moved to Newcastle for work. I have a smallish dog who is impeccably well behaved. 100% house trained, quiet, gets along great with other animals, including cats, birds, pigs and cows. A fenced yard is not necessary, I am happy to build a dog run myself, the only time she is left at home is when I go to work, other than that she is joined to my hip. Happy for people to meet myself and the dog.
I'm quiet and often in my own little zone, however I am friendly and outgoing, I get along with most people. I work 2 casual jobs and I study at UoN, so I will often be out of the house every day and come home at nights just to cook and meal prep, sleep and shower. I will be studying with any spare time i have in my room. Thanks
