Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities included, but not limited to learning Sitar, an array of little projects, and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. Best of luck, Ollie.
My name is Candy, I’m 32,from Malaysia and I’m staying in Box hill 1years ago,due to end of lease contact we have to find another rooms.we lived in a dorm for a really long time so I have no problem sharing spaces with other people. We are work as part time cleaner and also very tidy,I like hanging with friends but every once in a while I like some alone time. We'd be an awesome roommate! We arrived in Melbourne Since 2013 and it would be great to find something new environment now.
I'm very easy to get along with, I like my own personal space so I wont intrude on yours. I am very clean and tidy. Currently living in Traralgon and looking to move to melbourne around June/July this year.
Hi, I'm Alex, currently looking for a chill and tidy place to move into. I keep everything clean, quiet if everyone wants their privacy and can have some fun together if called for. Recently became a gym junkie, love playing games but am serious when things need to be done. Cat lover, so I'm totally cool with pets ( yes, dogs too ), don't smoke, not loud, don't care about gender or sexuality of mates, am a little shy but not scared to socialise. Lastly, I am a lover of bantering.
I am a neat and clean Architect working in the CBD. I am also an easy going with a good sense of humour. Happy to be social as well give people space to do their own thing, not a hermit. I have a car, so I will be looking for a place which as parking or free street parking.
I'm Matt and I currently work full time at Swinburne University as a break from studying. I like to bake and have been recently getting into my fitness. I'm very social and I am looking for a place that I like to come home too. I've been sharehouseing for about 4 years now and I'm a very respectful and clean person. I also have built up a collection of cookware, which I'm willing to contribute to the house.
Hi I am 27 year old female from India. My name is Sanjana. I have recently moved to melbourne 4 months back. I am master in IT student looking for a house to share preferably near station. I am young and easy going neat n tidy girl. Feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks
I am Jonathan, 19 years old and from germany. I am in Melbourne, because of an Internship at Siemens and currently looking for an accommodation for the next 6 Weeks. I like to do a lot of Sports, like Tennis, Soccer or Gym. I would describe myself as very easy-going, friendly and I considerate other people's space and privacy. I'm tidy and clean up after myself.
Ok.. What makes me great to live with? I have a female samoyed small/medium sized dog which basically means you get to live with me AND a small polar bear. (Toilet trained/doesn't chew). I'm a real estate agent and work 6 days a week selling property. If you want a roommate who keeps to herself then great, I'll buy a tv for my room and that's where I'll be (I'm also a gamer so yes I can be quiet) If you want a roommate who gets involved in roommate activities then also great as I do like socialising. I clean up after myself so tidy common areas is a must. I'm very easy going, my dog does follow me inside and outside but as stated before - toilet trained and doesn't chew. I would prefer a shared house that is LGBT+ friendly please. If you have an issue with that then you will have an issue with me.
hi, I'm a student looking for a quiet and cozy place to stay. I am a quiet, clean and easy going person who keeps to himself. I love dogs, binging tv shows occasionally playing video games.
Hey there! My name is Linnea, I’m 22, from Sweden and I’m staying in Melbourne for six months to do an exchange semester at Deakin uni. I’m from Uppsala, Sweden where I’ve been studying art history for two years. I’ve lived in a dorm for a really long time so I have no problem sharing spaces with other people. I’m also very tidy, but not a clean freak. I like hanging with friends but every once in a while I like some alone time. I’m always up for a spontaneous night at the pub or just chilling together at home. I’d be an awesome roommate! I arrived in Melbourne two months ago and it would be great to find something now when school is starting!
I am easy going, very clean, fun and get along with everyone. Am working full time and am rarely home. I do have an adorable and loving black cat named Ninja who is also as chilled as her father.
Hey I'm Peter, I'm 33 years old and work full time as a Building Surveyor based in Melbourne CBD. I'm looking for a house/room (12 months +). I moved down from Brisbane about 2 years ago and have spent those couple of years settling in. Now that I have a bit better idea of the lay of the land I'm looking to move a bit closer to the city to have more time to enjoy life rather than commuting to and from work. During the week I'm usually pretty busy at work, and depending on the time of year have been known to work quite late - a habit I'm gradually learning to change. After a bit of a hiatus in my spare time I'm getting back into the gym and enjoying it more and more each session. Apart from the gym I also like going bush walking when I can or hitting the beach, but also enjoy a good chill watching a movie or having a beverage (coffee/brewski) and watching the world go by. Like most guys I enjoy watching my sport - AFL, cricket, NRL (being originally from QLD), any sport really - but also love going playing a bit of tennis or golf, or even trying something new. I've lived in share houses a couple times before while in QLD, and while like most people I enjoy a bit of quiet time when at home to recuperate, I also love a friendly chat and catch up over dinner and whatnot. I'm pretty relaxed and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy when you need it too. Due to my nature being a consultant I pride myself on creating positive relationships and am always up for a laugh, however I will always respect personal space and privacy. I'm clean, reliable and will do my part to keep the house tidy! As I have a car if a car space was available that would be awesome. Cheers, Peter
Hello! I'm Yenni and i'm working as a paediatric nurse at a hospital in one of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I'm looking for a short term place to stay preferably around Blackburn, Doncaster, Box Hill and Balwyn (but any Eastern suburb is fine as I drive) for about 3 months from 23rd May to 15th August (exact dates are negotiable, potentially even until early September) before I leave to volunteer overseas again for the rest of the year as my current housemates are moving out end of this month and I'll be staying with my folks in a northern suburb until 18th April as I'll be away for about 5 weeks so I'm hoping to look at your place before 18th April in order to make a decision where to return after my trip. Plus I'd still remain employed as my boss is very supportive of my overseas adventuring tendencies so you can always count on me for paying rent on time ;) I've been sharing houses with cousins, friends and strangers on different occasions for the past 9 years in Melbourne so I'm tolerant, approachable, generally tidy and always clean up after myself as I'm pretty self conscious of others around me. Socially, i am usually up for a chat or hang out depending on the preferences of my housemates as I'm pretty flexible and easygoing but if you're someone that keeps to yourself, that's ok with me too as I respect that and would do the same. I do prefer a non party house as it's nice to unwind from a long shift at a peaceful home but I enjoy occasional evening dinner / movie nights with friends at home, just not wild parties (I'm getting old and can't keep up with the youngsters, sorry!). I also lead an active lifestyle and often go hiking on my days off. If I sound like a good fit to you, please reach out, cheers :)
Hey! I'm a 24 yo bloke working full-time as a carpenter as well as building up my own business, and I do a fair bit of volunteer time in the entertainment industry. I've been out of home for a few years now, done the share house thing for a bit so I know the drill, happy to help with housework etc etc. I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I like having my own space to crash, but I'm totally up for social times as well. I have a cat, he's an adorable 5yo ginger short hair, very affectionate! As far as I know good with other animals, he definitely makes friends wherever he goes! I'm looking for some humans to share a house. Non-smokers preferred, but ok as long as you smoke outside. Pets ok, if you're keen shoot me a message and we can go from there! Also looking at joining someone else's share house if possible. Looking to move pretty much as soon as I can, and looking for long-term like at least 12 months, but I'm easy. Any other questions let me know!
We are a couple .My wife is a student in health domain in deakin university. we recently came to australia . we are friendly, like-minded ,like cleanliness ,non-interfering people.
Hello, I'm a kind, friendly, respectful, clean and tidy person. I'm easy going but do enjoy some peace and quiet and cleanliness in a home. I'm into health and fitness. I work as a Carer and Support worker. I'm from Melbourne. Looking for a great share house/place to call home :) I've been in share accommodation for ten years and very respectful to others privacy and belongings. It would be great to find people who are respectful too. I ideally want a large room as I have a queen size bed and some other smaller furniture. I do have the occasional outside smoke... I have lived with both non-smoker's and smoker's previously which has never been a issue as I'm very clean and tidy and only smoke outside. I always look after the place I live in and take pride in a nice, clean environment. It would be great to be able to have a chat with housemates perhaps over a drink or something sometimes and also be able to respect each others space. I look forward to hearing from you. :)
Hey I'm Michael, 26 years old. I work full time as a Health and PE Teacher in the Outer Eastern Suburbs. I'm looking for a house/room (6-12 months +). A little bit about myself; I'm quite sporty and play a range of different sports including mixed netball (Wednesday evenings), long distance triathlons & field hockey. As such, during winter especially, I'll be out of your way a fair bit due to training commitments but I'm always up for a chat when I'm around! I'm really friendly and quite social on the weekends! I enjoy afternoon drinks with friends most weekends. I'm pretty relaxed and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy if that's more up your alley. Due to my nature being a teacher I pride myself on creating positive relationships and am always up for a laugh, however I will always respect personal space and privacy. Sorry but I'm not interested in sharing a bedroom with one or more people for the heads up. I'm clean, reliable and keep the house tidy! I also have a car, so a car space would be needed. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Michael.
My name is Calvin, and I'm about to start as a PhD student at Deakin University studying Ecology and Conservation in April. I am originally from Hong Kong, but have been living in London for the past 12 years of my life. I've never been to Melbourne before, but I've heard so many good things about it! I'm not much of a party person, and am very easy-going and chilled. I enjoy exploring places I've never been, both inside and outside of cities, and this is what I plan to do when I arrive, making new friends along the way!
Hey! My name is Taylor, I'm a 21 year old female looking for a house to share with some lovely people in Burwood (or surrounding suburbs) as I have just started my bachelor of psychological sciences at Deakin Uni. I work part time in Doncaster, am not a party animal but am social and open to parties if that's what suits the house. I'm easy going, tidy and respect personal space whilst also enjoying the company of others. I really like animals, however, won't be bringing any of my own. I'm also not a smoker but don't mind if anyone else is. I like a whole lot of stuff and if you want to know more or If you like the sound of living with me and think I might be a suitable candidate, hit me up! Taylor :)

We are a couple from Hong Kong and Taiwan (27 & 29 yo) both of us are students (English and Patisserie) now, working part time. We are non-smokers. We have been in Australia for at least 3 years. After finishing our 2-year Working Holiday visa, we decided to stay here to learn English and more about Australia. We are both easy-going and love to make new friends. In our spare time, we love to play sports, go camping and cooking sometimes. We can move in in early April, planning to stay long-term, with a budget of $300 per week.
I'm an easy-going person who loves to travel the world. I grew up in China but lived in the US for 5 years. I love music (jazz, classical, pop, country), movies and food! Melbourne is a completely new place to me. I would love to explore more!
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as I'm on Centrelink disability payments. I have 2 young indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
I am very social and love getting to know people, but I do like to have my own quiet down time which is when I usually find time to sit in a park or just hideout in my room. I am not a crazy party animal but I am constantly on the go! Aside from catching up with friends and trying out new food places, I love travelling and cooking. I am clean, responsible and respectful and have previous housemates and landlords who will attest to this! I am organised and caring individual who is full of positive energy. Currently, I am a hospitality professional and juggle that with part time dance school. I am looking for friendly and caring housemates who are respectful of people and things. People who also take pride in where they live and keep it clean and tidy.

Im a student studing Graphic Design and Digital Media Technologies, currently living in Bundoora in another sharehouse, where I moved from the country back in Gippsland, but want to get closer to my uni at Swinburne to save myself some time and travel money. I am a reliable and pleasant housemate, at least that's what I've heard. Managed to keep myself here and meet some cool people but want to explore my options. I don't have any pets at the moment but am possibly looking at the option of getting one, would be a massive bonus but not a major essential. I can either keep to myself or be down for social outings, adaptable is my middle name.

Hello! I'm a creative professional (graphic designer/artist) moving from Sydney to Melbourne for work. I love cooking, playing games, enjoying a few drinks and chats with housemates. I love to do a bit of drawing and art as well! John is my half Greek/Italian partner who is passionate about sports, video games, and loves to joke around, chat and enjoy a cold beer. He's deaf with great lipreading skills, fluent in sign language and has a great sense of humour. We are looking to either rent a place ourselves or to share with friendly housemates. Ideally we are looking within 40mins-1hr from the city at most. If you have friendly, trained pets that respect our space, we don't mind. We are tidy, responsible and respectful, and would love to find a place to call home and make new friends.

My personal time is usually spent outdoors! There's nothing I enjoy more than looking at the stars at night or a nice green scenery. I like to cook. I’m a bit of a foodie, and harbour an insatiable yearning for new knowledge, whether it be in the workplace or at home, reading or watching documentaries. I'm a tidy person, and I believe in always cleaning up after myself - and making sure the house I live in is comfortable for all. I'm open minded, considerate, respectful and polite. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat; Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney (ive just returned from backpacking in Europe) to take up uni and I will work part or full time as necessary. I was previously a qualified veterinary nurse- and I have worked the past four years in a large insurance company. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). My main interests are: music, animals, memes, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!), dabbling in philosophy, puns and travel.
Hey :) My boyfriend and I are looking for a room to move into at the end of this month/ beginning of next. We are looking for a place convinient for both Uni and our work places. Hello everyone! Name's Amo Chakravarthy, and I'm a 19-year old bloke studying Politics and Public Relations at Deakin University, Burwood. A true ambivert, I'm pretty outgoing in general, however would prefer my alone-time, especially when I'm reading (an avid bibliophile), and making plans to takeover the world (the plans are pretty bad, honestly). I love to watch footy and soccer, binge-watch Netflix (favourites: House of Cards and Narcos), play Monopoly, travel, and most importantly, eat (an absolute foodie). I'm a bit messy, but that's confined to the walls of my room, and wouldn't mind if it's the same with you. Preferable move-in would be the 2nd or 3rd week of February. Maximum number of housemates would ideally be 4, and lease period would be a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of a year. Feel free to hit me up on FB. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
I'm easy going, friendly, reliable. I have a master degree in Microbiology, I have a PR visa since 2015. I will learn 1.5 years full-time at Swinburne University from March/2017. I love all animals, especially cats and dogs. I can sleep with them.
