I just moved from Brisbane in June and am now studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin Uni! I'm currently studying online however I plan to transfer to the Burwood campus so I'd really like to move to the Eastern suburbs! I'd really like to find somewhere that has convenient access to public transport as I won't be driving. I'd love to find a place that I can stay for the long-term. I love coffee, movies, video games and hanging out with friends! I do enjoy the occasional night out but I'm generally a pretty big homebody! I'd consider myself a pretty social person but I do enjoy my alone time as well. I love my space to be tidy (I'm pretty chill when it comes to tidiness though) and I'm more than happy to pitch into things. I also love to bake (Snickerdoodles are my specialty) and I'm starting up yoga again! I'm really looking for a place that can be a second home to me as I've had a completely fresh start since moving to Melbourne. Although I will be busy doing my own things, I'd love to hang out with roommates over (insert bev of choice here) and maybe some board games every now and then! My move-in date would be approximately the second week of December as I plan on moving early enough that I can spend some time in Brisbane with my family over the holidays! My time in my current home ends the day before Christmas so I'd love to move before then. I've made this listing quite early as I want to have a look around and get to know some people first! :)
I'm a pretty neat, quiet Australian guy currently studying engineering full-time online, and looking for work in electronics or chemistry. I have a degree in science (applied chem), and 11+ yrs experience as an electronics tech. I'm a bit handy with computers, fixing some stuff around the house, and paying rent/bills on time. I clean up after myself, and like to keep a tidy, clean house, but not too fussy. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine/beer, a chat about politics/economics/technology/society..., video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening, but largely keeping to myself, not a party person. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I can bring a PS3 and a few gardening tools. I'm fine with pets, though I don't have any. - Sam
I'm currently studying film, television and animation at Deakin and will be very busy throughout 2020 as it's my last year at uni. I'm currently employed but when I move in I will be looking for a new job. I'm very clean and keep to myself a lot, though I won't shy away from the occasional party or get together. However, I would prefer a more chilled out environment.
I'm currently doing a research degree at RMIT, so i spend most of my time at uni. I like to experiment in the kitchen but make sure clean up after myself. I'm kinda introverted so mostly keep to myself, but would love to hangout sometime. I tend to keep my place clean owing to OCD tendencies. I'm responsible, cooperative and can easily adjust to changes.
Hi everyone, my name is Sofia and I am originally from Greece. For the last 5 years, I've been living in the UK. I am currently working at a UK university as a researcher and studying towards my PhD. I am coming to Melbourne for a placement in a research organisation and looking for a furnished room to stay for 3 months. While living in the UK, I have been living in shared properties with other people. I am an organised and clean person who respects others' privacy. I will be working full-time at the research organisation as part of my placement. In my spare time, when not studying for my PhD, I am planning to visit places around Melbourne and get to know the city as this will be my first time there. I am open to meeting new people and visiting places together. Regards Sofia
Searching for somewhere to plant some roots and finally call home. Respect to others as well as myself is a prominent value of mine. Open communication and comprising on any issues either party may encounter is very important to me as long as it’s done in a respectful/calm/pleasant manner. I also prioritise cleanliness of both myself and my environment meaning I clean up after myself and most mess around me without being asked twice !! Love animals and people meaning I’m often up for a conversation or to hang out with my housemates but also appreciate my own space and often retreat to my room to indulge in doing my own thing; which means I will respect your own desire for personal space :) I have a diverse range of interests and quite a long list of them as I love to learn and listen to others experiences and stories so I get along with just about anyone willing to do the same. Looking for a room ASAP and look forward to hearing from you, thanks !!
Hello I'm a full time chef working in richmond. Currently living in elwood and not liking the area much. Need somewhere close to public transport (preferably train). Recently lived in brisbane for 2 years and here in melbourne for 5 years. Been living in share houses for 6 of those years. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, going out for brunch and dinner, playing video games, going on hikes/walks and exploring melbourne. I'd like to find people to live with where we can go out for drinks and have those family dinner together rather than just being a piece of furniture. Also interested in team ups

Have a great sense of humour-(according to me), i understand every person is different, can look after myself and am very tidy, happy to help with most things if required, keep to myself and independant,(like privacy), while still being sociable, currently co-own my own business, love music of most genres (have previously been in a couple of bands in my other life-my son is a dj)), cook, clean & feed myself :+), have 2 adult children independantly living, -i would prefer seperate living as opposed to joint/communal-some storage and parking would be good.Thank you.
