Hi Guys, My names Rachel. I'm 21, Australian (from Melbourne) and a student at Deakin University. I have a permanent part time job in an office so I always have regular income. I have always paid rent and bills on time and am very easy going, neat and tidy. You can expect that I wont throw parties in the house, or bring random people over. Fell free to message me back if I seem like a good housemate. Thanks, Rachel. Only want to live with females! Sorry!
I am a friendly, respectful and tidy person who is a Health Promotion Officer. I respect each others space and down time. I love a good tv series and enjoy baking! I am not a party animal but do enjoy socialising.
Hi! I'm a third year Food&Nutrition Science/Commerce student at Deakin. I am originally from a small NE Victorian town and have been living in the big smoke for uni. I love travelling (just completing a 6mth exchange to Hong Kong) and anything to do with food and culture. I'm outgoing and very adventurous, willing to try just about anything new. But I also enjoy spending time chilling with a book or Netflix and socialising over food or drinks. Im very easy to live with (so all my previous roomies have told me) - I've lived in shared campus accommodation for the past three years... so that adds up to a lot of good praise!!
Super friendly, warm and overall happy person, but respectful of personal space. Full time secondary music/english teacher, loves music and plays piano/guitar. Appreciates everything from quiet evenings with a book/in front of the tv, wine and cheese nights at home or going out for a dance with friends depending on the mood.
Hi, I'm Aidz, turning 30 this May, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'm hoping to arrive in Melbourne either June 26 or 27. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate to hear from you!
I'm female, 32 years old. I work full time in Sydney, at least for the next 4 weeks until I move to the South of France! I'm extremely athletic (running, cycling, swimming, pilates and boxing. I'm very passionate about food, and live a pretty healthy lifestyle (I studied biochemistry in University and Ayurvedic medicine in India), though I do have a weakness for sweets, wine, burgers, and, when it suits, I love a good night out with friends. I'm very clean and organized and love my surroundings to be the same as well as warm, comfortable, and with character. I love music (I'm a classically trained vocalist), culture, and pretty much anything else that adds a little something positive to my life! I'm straight forward, down to earth, honest, have a good sense of humour, and I'm generally just a happy person. I love to meet interesting people with something of substance to say and/or a story to tell. I'm looking for a place to call home until I leave because my lease has run out and I have decided to leave for France a little later than anticipated. I'd love to hear from you if you have a place that you think would suit!

Ideally I would like to live within a 10 minute walk of a train station. I'm easy going, reliable and honest. I always pay my bills on time and do more than my fair share around the house. I like to cook, exercise, socilise but also enjoy my own space. I have lived in London and have done a lot of backpacking as well. If you have any questions let me know and I'll be happy to answer them.
Hello! I'm Yenni and i'm working as a paediatric nurse at a hospital in one of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I'm looking for a short term place to stay preferably around Blackburn, Doncaster, Box Hill and Balwyn (but any Eastern suburb is fine as I drive) for about 3 months from 25th May to 15th August (exact dates are negotiable, potentially even until early September) before I leave to work overseas again. I'm currently in UK for 5-6 weeks. I've been sharing houses with cousins, friends and strangers on different occasions for the past 9 years in Melbourne so I'm tolerant, approachable, generally tidy and always clean up after myself as I'm pretty self conscious of others around me. Socially, i am usually up for a chat or hang out depending on the preferences of my housemates as I'm pretty flexible and easygoing but if you're someone that keeps to yourself, that's ok with me too as I respect that and would do the same. I do prefer a non party house as it's nice to unwind from a long shift at a peaceful home but I enjoy occasional evening dinner / movie nights with friends at home, just not wild parties (I'm getting old and can't keep up with the youngsters, sorry!). I also lead an active lifestyle and often go hiking on my days off. If I sound like a good fit to you, please reach out, cheers :)
Hi, my name is Liam Tran. I’m 26 years old and studying MBA Program at Deakin University. I’m very quiet, clean and tidy; I spend most of my free time running my business in my country. I love Jazz music, discovering art galleries and music store with friends at the weekend. Sometimes I like chilling out every Saturday night at lounge/bar, listen to live music and enjoy a grass of wine and a cigar with my friends. I want to rent/share a room/house/apartment with young people. It is more preferable if it have a car garage or off street parking.
I work full time as a Building Surveyor based in the CBD. I'm looking for a house/room (12 months +). The commute to and from work at present is a bit too long for my liking and I'm looking to move a bit closer to the city to have more time to enjoy life. During the week I'm usually pretty busy at work, and appreciate my weekends to just chill out watching some football or get outside exploring. Try and keep active at the gym as much as I can. I enjoy my AFL but also love going playing a bit of tennis or golf (quite rusty), or even trying something new. I've lived in share houses a couple times before while in QLD, and know and appreciate the value of being considerate towards others. I'm pretty relaxed and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy when you need it too. I'm clean, reliable and will do my part to keep the house tidy!
Hello, I'm a kind, friendly, respectful, clean and tidy person. I'm easy going but do enjoy some peace and quiet and cleanliness in a home. I'm into health and fitness. I work as a Carer and Support worker. I'm from Melbourne. Looking for a great share house/place to call home :) I've been in share accommodation for ten years and very respectful to others privacy and belongings. It would be great to find people who are respectful too. I ideally want a large room as I have a queen size bed and some other smaller furniture. I do have the occasional outside smoke... I have lived with both non-smoker's and smoker's previously which has never been a issue as I'm very clean and tidy and only smoke outside. I always look after the place I live in and take pride in a nice, clean environment. It would be great to be able to have a chat with housemates perhaps over a drink or something sometimes and also be able to respect each others space. I'm flexible with the move in date. I look forward to hearing from you. :)
I am a 68 yr old male seeking a place of stay (room in house, share/house etc) in Melbourne for at least two months initially with the possibility of a permanent arrangement if suited. I am based in NZ but I regularly travel to Melbourne, hence the need of a place I can call my 'Melbourne home' and a place to touch down when I am there. I am tidy, reliable, good help around the house, have a sense of humor, and very easy to get along with. I can supply excellent references. I don't snore, fall out of bed, or make strange noises in the middle of the night (or at least I don't think I do). I would prefer a quieter place occupied by only one or two working person/s preferably straight, and a place handy to public transport into the CBD - say a maximum of 30 minutes by public transport. I mostly do my own thing with meals but also don't mind a get-together meal. I make woodworking projects (not at the property) and write about them for my website. That is my fun job and my hobby. Rent is negotiable, however it would be nice if the rent could reflect the fact that I will be away for most of the time after the initial two month. Say maybe between $100 - $160 per week paid by automatic payment. It would be a place I could call home while I am in Melbourne and would be my Melbourne address.
I am moving to Melbourne in the middle of the year and transferring to Deakin university (Burwood) and, whilst I have friends living here already, I hope to meet new people. I am friendly, and oh so clean. Cleaning is like therapy for me so don't worry about me making a mess! I'm from Townsville originally (far north Queensland), then moved away from my family at the beginning of 2016 to live in Brisbane and study at UQ, so I'm no stranger to independent living. I'm a vegetarian, if you're not, that's fine with me! I'm a strong supporter of equal rights and am a member of the LGBT community, as I have a girlfriend. I'm also pretty punny and my jokes generally suck so bad they're funny. Also, if it matters, I'm a Pisces :)
George and I love all things music, food and movie related. I study dance full time and teach it in my spare time. George studies Audio and Sound engineering and works part time. We are both clean and respectful people to live with, and would love to make some new friends. :)
Hello! My names Matt, I currently work full time in burwood in a sales role for a very large company! So paying bills won't be an issue and I'll be out of the house most days! A bit about me... I love sport! Every sport! I play socially with mates at night and will go and watch games during the week. I enjoy cooking, I'm a clean person, I like to get along with the people I live with but also need time to myself as well. I'm not a big party animal and I don't smoke. I also have a 12 week old kitten named Stash. He's pretty chill, if he's not asleep he'll be wandering around looking for someone to pat him! I play a bit of acoustic guitar but definitely not loudly. What I am ideally looking for... I would ideally like to team up with 2 or 3 other people and get a nice big house. I may also be moving out with my girlfriend so that will keep the rent down per person! Bonus! I'd also ideally like to stay as close as burwood (easy drive to work) as possible but definitely am open to other suburbs! I am needing to move as soon as possible, but again realise that sometimes that's not ideal so let me know your time frames and I can probably adjust! If you're keen to get started now however drop me a line and let's get started! Looking forward to chatting, Matt :)
I have a pet snake, she is pretty chill just like me. I'm studying wildlife and conservation biology at Deakin.
Totally chill person, Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar age and mindset people.
-Young professional -Work Mon-Fri 9-5 in the city -Lived in share houses for 8 years -Clean and tidy person -Am friendly and always up for a chat but don't drink or party and generally do my own thing -Cook a lot and happy to do group dinners if people want to -Spend most of my free time playing sport or at the gym -Like board game nights, going to the movies or watching the footy (Melbourne supporter)
I'm currently working full-time as a software developer in Melbourne. I live in a highly organised busy lifestyle. I like psychology, philosophy, and politics, but I'd prefer listening to ideas than talking about them. I'm looking for a fully furnished room, minimally with a comfortable bed (if >$200 per week). Having said that, I'm also happy to furnish my own room. I'm pet friendly and of course, I always pay rent on time. I'm looking for housemates who are like-minded, clean, open, and considerate. I don't drive, so I hope to stay in a location close to a railway station along Belgrave/Lilydale/Alamein/Cranbourne/Pakenham/Sandringham lines. Please inbox me first before messaging/calling me. I read every single message. :)
