Hello! My name is Tom, I'm a male 31 year old non-smoker who has finally escaped Sydney I am looking for like minded people with a room available for October. Melbourne born and raised. i’m likable, fun and a nerd in many ways. I no longer able to survive the hangovers from crazy partying, so I won’t be stumbling home at 3am every Saturday or Sunday (maybe just once in a blue moon). Instead I prefer catching up with friends, trying out a new restaurant or having a nice glass of wine whilst watching Netflix. In all honesty, I get along with pretty much everyone so as long as we click, the rest is pretty much filler. I also love learning about new things music, fashion, art, nerd stuff and even sport. I enjoy the challenge. In short, it’s nice to meet you.
Hey possible future flatmates! I've just come off the back of a year backpacking the exotic lands or europe/africa and want to live and work somewhere relatively close to Melbourne! I'm 23 originally from Sydney, I have moved to Melbourne in hope to bask in the creative machine that Melbourne is meant to be! I am a very sustainable, eco friendly kinda guy and and enjoy all sorts of sports, bushwalking/gardening and attempting to play guitar from time to time! I working full time at the moment but plan on in the coming months to take on more casual kind of work to maximise my time being able to enjoy the city and it's surroundings more! I hope too hear from you soon and be able to explore the city more with my future flatmates! Thanks
Hey Guys, Myself 26 and my 6 month old puppy Rufus are looking for a new home! Its pretty important to us both that we can set up shop with some life affirming, open individually amazing people and hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. I am currently working as a Project Coordinator x Electrical estimator (Mon-Fri) However, I think there is way more to life than just work I consider myself to be a pretty chilled out person, down to earth, friendly and trying my best to be a peaceful warrior but you can be the judge of that. I spend a lot of time adventuring outside of the city and into nature, exploring the unbeaten track or searching for a new camping spot. Outside of my adventures I am often with my brother or sister who are my 2 of best friends, exercising or hanging out with friends. I have a young puppy named Rufus who is by my side outside of my work life. Rufus is a full time cuddle enthusiast and is not bound to any days off (you have been warned) He has an unnaturally quiet and gentle temperament and would be excited to share time with you also! His ideal situation is sitting next to the humans in life having a nap. He likes other dogs very much and is responding very well to training and will grow into a true gentleman. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit otherwise good luck with the hunt! :) Sam & Rufus
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished/partly furnished 'self contained accommodation' (Not house share). Access to a laundry is preferable. A 58 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and who is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too and after all, they are true judges of character ;) References available on request. Michael
Hi there! I’m Alyssa. I’m 29 and work full time as a paediatric speech therapist. I am new to Melbourne from the U.S and grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Seattle, Washington (so spent much of my childhood camping, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors... and still love to do that too!). Outside of work I like to stay active with yoga, walks, and/or going to the gym. I'm also a big fan of cheese, wine, and brunch. One seemingly useless, but beneficial skill I bring to the table is being able to assemble delicious cheese platters and snacks. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean, responsible, and respectful of other people's space and privacy. I am social and enjoy hanging out with my housemates (always up for the occasional chat, going out to eat/to the pub, weekend adventures, drinking wine on the couch, Netflix binges, walks, hikes, etc.), but also value my alone time. During the week I usually take it easy and am in bed early so I can go to the gym before work, but I like to get out and about on the weekends. Hoping to find a housemate/s with similar values and interests! In a housemate/s, I would like to find people who are clean, friendly, open-minded, and pay their bills/rent on time. I would like to live in a sociable household, but also respect our downtime/having our own lives.
Hey guys! I’m Nila, I’m 23 and studying a Master of International Relations at Melbourne Uni, while working part-time at Oxfam Australia in Carlton. When I’m not studying or working I’m mostly out with friends picnicking in Edinburgh Gardens, having a beer at the pub or going to a gig, music festival, or on the odd camping or hiking trip. At home I’m usually watching a good tv show (or trash tv, let’s be honest), reading, cooking or trying to keep my houseplants alive. I’m looking for friendly and down to earth housemates who are open-minded, clean and willing to do their fair share around the house (the usual stuff), respectful of other people’s space and downtime but also keen to have a chat/drink/dinner together every now and then! I’m a huge animal lover and have plenty of experience living in share houses here in Melbourne and overseas. I’m looking to move in around late October, but willing to pay rent from when the room is available. If there’s anything else you’d like to know about me please get in touch!
I’m easy going male IT professional with stable income employed at University in fulltime capacity (Mon - Fri / 9-5). I'm clean, tidy, respectful of other's personal space and am always up for a chat. Please let me know if I sound like a good fit for your home and I can come and meet you.
A little about myself. I’m pretty social and love my down time when I get home as my work can be high pressure. Patient Transport Officer, (Ambulance Attendant), . However love a glass/or 5 of wine (Red) and chat after work. Enjoy/love my food and a wine - watching movies, reading, sport-(watching) also exploring. Happy to share cooking or not - not fussed - same with grocery shopping etc. I’m friendly and easy to live with, very clean and tidy, looking for someone similar not the "Party" house type. Regards Pete
Hi, I'm Sam, short for Samuel.... Nah it's Samantha haha I'm 28 years old, I'm a happy homer. Meaning I am a massive granny. I am always working and editing and making Art. I am a Photographer and Swimming Teacher. What I can offer... I come with everything some furniture, cooking appliances, plants and my green thumb and friendship and a call away to rescue you in any situation and I'll beat down anyone hurting my roomies. About me, I'm not home often because I go on several adventures and drives and do shoots. I work during the day and night shooting gigs. If I'm home I'll be editing and probably cooking. I'll always reach out and love to catch up and hang and have a tea. I don't mind pets or smokers, pets make everything so much better. I am looking for a place with some storage and built in wardrobes! Looking forward to hangs, good times and making a peaceful home to come to after a long day.
My partner Laura and I are looking for a room to rent in the inner north. We are both youth workers (for the council and in youth homelessness) and enjoy being close to good food, art and music. We love to travel and like to do this regularly. We are both from Melbourne (born and bred)!!
My name is Alex. I’m an art therapist/Artist from Sydney, but have lived in a Melbourne for 6 years. I work as an art therapist and support worker. I also work casually at T2 (the tea store) so I have LOTS of tea for my new home. I enjoy keeping active and spending time with mates on the weekends, but would also love a place where I can occasionally share meals and have chats with my housemates. I love going to try new cafes or restaurants in melb, and I’m always up for going to see some live music. I’m clean and respect my sharehomes and communicate well with my housemates. Would love to contribute to making a nice home, rather than just a place to sleep!
Hello! I'm Flo, from Scotland and Michael is from Perth, W.A. We are looking for a fun and friendly new share house. We are vegan, ethically minded folk who have 3 adorable pet rats so our new home must be rattie friendly. We're happy, mindful, laid back, respectful people. Home is important to us and we are looking for a place to be proud of. Both of us have had plenty share-housing experience and understand the necessities of being a topnotch housemate. We love cleaning, sometimes we play rock paper scissors to see who gets to do the dishes, really. Also we are pretty dedicated dumpster dive masters so there's often plenty of savaged food up for grabs! I really like plants, gardening, music, and a good old chill sesh, Michael is a keen photographer, cyclist and d.i.y'er. Both of us enjoy cooking and spend a fair bit of time creating taste sensations in the kitchen, totally up for sharing meals now and again. We both work full time day jobs and enjoy getting out amongst nature for camping trips when we can. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to know anything more.
I am very social person. I am a chef so I really love food. I am a very clean person. I am form colombia but I am looking to have language exchange so I would prefer to live a multicultural environment. In my free time I love to chillout by reading a book, listening music, cooking some food for my friends or just having a nice chat. I always respectful with other and the share areas so I would like to have the same from my flatmates.
I tidy up after myself. I clean (floors, toilet, bathroom). I pretty much keep to myself, although don't mind a chat. I'm quiet. I work in a customer service role - it's strangely enjoyable. I have an 8 year old daughter who stays with me one or two nights a week - she's respectful of other people and their possessions. What I like to do: I love cooking on the weekend and listening to the AFL on the radio.
Hey, I've literally just come home from living in UK/Europe for nearly 3 years. Lived out of home for a fair bit so I'm pretty well training around the house. I like to socialise around the house as well respect everyone's privacy. I'm accountant and do normal hours, play a bit of sport and don't mind heading out for a drink or two on weekends.
Hi pals! I'm Karina, 27 year young female! I am looking for a private room to rent in December (I may not move until early Jan, but happy to secure and pay for the room anywhere from the start of December onwards). I'm making the country to city move for my job in forensic psychiatric nursing, i will be employed full time, working shift work and also studying my masters. I will more than likely return to my home town when i have annual leave - so i probably won't have a lot of free time! My social life in the country usually consists of skiing/stand up paddle boarding/camping on the river or just having a few beers at the local! I'm pretty chill, and a bit past the hectic party scene. But i don't mind sitting down either at home or in a chill pub having a few frothies. I am looking to share a house with some new found friends (not just be strangers), in saying that i also like my own space and mindful that others do to. Ultimately i'd like to live somewhere where i can share a meal on a Sunday or every once in a while, chill on a week night and have a bbq during the summer. I don't mind a board game, a game of table tennis or pool (i'm super competitive). Looking for house mates that are like minded! I do however, come with super cute baggage. My 11 month old British Bulldog puppy, Missy. Who loves cuddles from any human! She's very much a lap dog. She spends pretty much all daylight hours outside, and usually sleeps inside with me. She doesn't bark, unless there is someone unfamiliar approaching a gate or front door. She doesn't chew things (other than her toys) and doesn't dig. She is extremely well behaved, house trained and loves to go for little walks. If you have a place with a small backyard, and think we could join your fam. Please feel free to get in contact! We'd love to hear back from you!
I am a pilates instructor based in the northside so I live a very healthy and active lifestyle. I am clean, tidy, present well and I always keep a tidy household. in my spare time when I am not doing Pilates, I love to go on outdoor adventures, have a wine (or a few) and chill out. I like to go out and socialise as well. Love a good movie or netflix sesh. I have been living in Melbourne for the past 4 years and I am originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Hi! I am Maria. I am 34 years old. I am from Brazil and I am studying English here in Melbourne. I am studying all the mornings and I would like to have a job here. Hey My names Hannah, I’m a young creative introvert who loves company and lovely humans! Currently in a cute Fitzroy North terrace but am spaceless and having some claustrophobia issues with all of my art supplies looking for a place with enough room for an art corner or study or garage workshop space I work part time in hospitality and part time at a school as their art technician, have a giant tea collection from my time at T2, wanting to work on my silversmithing and painting practice a bit more, want to get my hands dirty in the garden, saving to get scuba dive certified. Basically trying to fill the void of existential nihilism with exciting sparkly things! Would love to come meet y’all and see if I might be a good fit for your house :)
Originally from a small coastal town in WA, I'm a PhD student (in Italian) at La Trobe. I'm a marathon/trail runner and vegan who loves yoga, coffee dates, early mornings and bouldering. During the week I'm at uni all day everyday but on the weekends I spend my time adventuring, cooking, reading, market-hauling and exercising. I enjoy my personal space and quiet time, but I would also be up for having dinner parties or picnics with house-mates and having the company of like-minded people. I will be going home for the holidays so looking to move in at the start of January✌️
Just moved to Melbourne from the Netherlands! Starting a PhD in alcohol policy at the La Trobe university soon. Looking for a shared house with a good atmosphere! As I am completely new here, my roommates are really important to me. I would like it quite social! Not looking for people who will mostly be in their own rooms or away. Like to go out during the weekends and need to work during the week, always up for a beer/wine and a chat though. Like to do be active and do sports, love some Netflix and be lazy other times.
