Hello, me and my partner have recently moved to Melbourne. We're easy going, tidy and respectful people. We enjoy meeting people but also do our own stuff. We love food - eating out and cooking and are interested in nutrition and health. Both like to swim and do yoga sometimes :)
Interested in either a room available in a sharehouse or starting a new sharehouse with others on flatmates Work full time in city (Moday - Friday). Have lived in a sharehouse environment for over 2 years and really love it, made some awesome friends out of it. Really enjoy living in a house with 3-4 people and the social aspect of it and the community feel rather than living in a one bedroom flat. I believe I am: • Easy going and friendly • Clean and tidy • Considerate and polite • Timely with bills and jobs • Love being social but also not overboard Some of interest include: • Getting to live music and local gigs • Love playing the guitar (usually not plugged in so don’t worry about the noise) • Love a beer on the weekend • Pretty interested in world events and love a good vice doco • Running, going for a bike ride and footy A plus to all this is as I have lived out of home for while I have basically everything that is needed to a furnish a house including • Washing machine • Clothes dryer • Fridge • Coffee table • Dining table and three chairs • Tv and TV cabinet • Few bookcases for pots and pans/storage • many pots, pans, knife, chopping boards and basically every cooking utensil you could think of • iron and ironing board • toaster, sandwich press, kettle, blender • portable evaporative cooler As I have all this stuff I am either looking for a room that is up for grabs in a sharehouse (can easily store this stuff elsewhere if its not needed). Or alternatively quite open to starting a new sharehouse with 2-3 other people in any of the areas I have listed above and putting all this stuff to go use. Feel free to send any messages, questions or queries. Cheers :D
I am looking for 3 BEDROOMS, a whole house if available. I am a hard working Services Operations Manager in the engineering industry, a home body. My 2 daughters and l are very house proud, clean, very busy and quiet. We love to cook, and make our house a home. Our pet cat is a darling too, she is quiet, house-trained and friendly. We are looking for a whole property if possible.
Hey hey :) **Please Read first Before Sending Requests** Im a friendly, easy going person that enjoys living a simple life. I'm currently living at home as I've been a carer for my mum for a number of years though circumstances have now changed and I'm now looking to move out on my own with the right person/people :) I do have some bedroom furniture, so I'd prefer a room that could accommodate for that. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating in the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally :) Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
I'm 23, I work nearly full time in customer service for a small eLearning company, and my other time is spent doing Front of House for Melb Uni/VCA/MCM productions and events. I’m very social, and I love to cook so you can expect some assortment of baked goods every few months. I’m a non-smoker, and love a good dance although I’m not super into the party scene. Super open-minded and relaxed, I love to socialise but can respect other people's privacy.
I am out a lot on the weekends but am home during the week. I know all the good places to go in Melbourne as I have lived here for 18 years. I will do my share of the housework and keep the place clean.
Hey potential housemates!! I'm looking forward to rent a 2 bedroom house around Preston/Reservoir areas, and need someone to share it with. Bit about myself: I'm an Indian Australian working full time as a retail manager. Do message me for further information. Thank you.
I'm a recent graduate and now looking for a place to stay for the summer and possibly/hopefully) longer. I'm usually quiet, and laid-back and would love to share the house with people sharing the same traits. I would love to connect with people that I'll share the house with, so house dinners, board game nights, movie sessions are some of the things I would want to do as a house together :) I often work at home so if you have a strong, unlimited internet connection, you are the One! :)
I am a young man with an interest in the hospitality industry, I am neat and clean up after myself. Very conscious about boundaries and know when to keep to myself or let others do the same, but also enjoy just hanging out with a beverage or two.
Hi there, I'm Julia. I am a 29 year old freelance photographer and artist. I'm looking for a room available earliest December 11th. But I can move in a little later than that. I'd like to live in or close to Thornbury. Other Suburbs of interest would be Preston, Northcote, Brunswick... I'm a Queenslander who has been here for two years. I miss my morning surf, but love the creative nature of Melbourne and the artists I meet. I can pay around $600p/m rent, would prefer female or non-binary housemates, but am I'm open to a share house that has an ok balance. My wish for a home would be that it is not too far from public transport, and although it doesn't have to be a vegetarian house, I am vegetarian. I've got a lovely partner who will come over some nights. She's a wonderful cook. I would love to have a glass of wine with you from time or time or watch a movie. But I also respect personal space too and to be honest, can be quite an introvert, especially when I am lost in my editing or my health is down. My hearing is in the low range so communication may be touch and go, we'll just need to meet and see. I hear women best and in a quiet environment I can carry a decent and usual conversation. My health condition (a migraine type afffair) affects my energy levels, so I would - with my freelance work also considered, spend a lot of time at home base. If you have any pets I'd be happy to meet them and even occasionally petsit ;) Please feel free to message me. If you are more than 20 minutes drive from Thornbury, it won't be suitable. I can move in a little later than the date I have provided. It is flexible. Just let me know and we can meet and discuss. Cheers, :)
I’m a thoughtful and considerate housemate who values clear communication. Clean, good natured and reliable. I cook often and have an interest in live music, both as a performer and spectator. I get along well with pets, and am generally pretty easy going. Interests also include meditation and pondering the human condition. I’m traveling in Australia to have new experiences, and meet new people. I like Melbourne, and if I can find a place to live here, I would like to stay.
I am a health care professional relocating to Melbourne to work full time at a Hospital. I love spontaneous road trips, hiking trails, and the occasional wine and cheese with card games. Reading a good novel by the beach, or drawing and painting is how I like to spend my days off work. I have been living in a share house for a few years now. I have respect for everyone's space, and love catching up over a glass of wine. If you want to know anything more about me, just ask. Contact me if you are also wanting to team up to apply for a rental :)
Easy going but passionate about life kinda Irish fellow. Not vegan or veggo, but flexatarian apparently, embracing a more a colorful meaningful diet. I'm a keen cyclist and fast mover, with wide music tastes. Looking to re-establish my promising soccer career ;0) Currently living in the burbs and it's time to get my dose of north inner city vibes on a daily basis. Ideally Northcote/ Thornbury/ Brunswick/ North Fitzroy...boom, would consider Clifton Hill, Brusnwick Disclaimer from Kevin's Mammy: Kevin is a lovely lovely fellow, he is very kind, generous and honest (sometimes too honest). He does like his living space to be kept in a fairly good nick, although his bedroom is can be organised chaos but I do understand he's a busy boy.
I’m easy going male IT professional with stable income employed at University in fulltime capacity (Mon - Fri / 9-5). I'm clean, tidy, respectful of other's personal space and am always up for a chat. Please let me know if I sound like a good fit for your home and I can come and meet you.
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
My name is Andrew - I am 24, open minded, vegetarian, house trained and a keen musician. I completed an honours degree in fine art at RMIT and now as a freelance artist at home as well as a stage hand setting up events. I am an energetic person with good values and always keen for a chat but also always keen to not chat also if required !! My current share house in Northcote is being demolished and I need to find somewhere asap to stay for 1 month short term as I will be returning home to the Blue Mountains at the end of the year.
Hi guys! I have just moved back to Australia and am looking for a room. This past 1.5 years I have been living abroad and lived/worked one year in Berlin - amazing city! I am originally from Adelaide and just now moved to Melb. Currently I am still employed by the Westpac Group (I was on a career break while I went away) but at the moment on unpaid leave. I just got back from overseas and am trying to get my boss to organise a work transfer to Melb part-time. I will also study Community Services in 2019. About me: I am so easy going! I have travelled around the world and led an interesting life in Berlin where I made the move spontaneously, without knowing anyone or anything there! And it was the best year of my life. Found a job, found a place to live and made amazing friends and created amazing memories. As a housemate I am: Clean and neat (this is a vow haha), respectful, fun (always down for a drink and an interesting chat) flexible (believe it or not in Berlin for 6 months I lived in a bedroom/shower - I will explain more when I see you and show you a photo lol) and organised (rent will always be paid on time and I do have savings already put away for that). I used to be a school teacher, a finance case manager and in Berlin a patient care adviser for a digital hospital, but will now pursue what I am truly passionate about which is case management in community services (hence a little extra study). My interests: -Traveling (yeah yeah everyone writes that, but I have been to some interesting places that the usual crowd would not venture to). -Exploring abandoned places (in Berlin I explored an old Nazi hospital which Hitler used to be treated at, an old abandoned chemical factory where we found documents from the 80s still there and laboratories...abandoned houses with magazines from the 70s and old furniture, clothes etc...the list goes on). - Techno music (Berlin exposed me to some amazing under ground techno artists and now I have a sweet collection of awesome tracks). -Art/Graffiti art...I love photographing graffiti art and going to different art exhibitions and galleries. Anyway sorry about the thesis, but I will be your perfect new flatmate (really!) haha and hopefully we can meet! Any other questions just ask. Peace!
We are cousins originally from the country who've been through our share of share houses! With 8 years renting experience between us we know how to keep tidy, respect people's space and cook for a crowd! Both fans of footy, live music and great food, we are working students looking for a place to call home :)
Currently travelling to escape the realities of employment back at home, but now I am after some work and thus, a place to stay in Melbourne. I have been told by people that I am very sociable and easy going, which I'll take as constructive feedback, but I am always keen to meet new people and make new pals. Love my sport, music, writing and the occasional Netflix series, as long as it is not reality TV...
