Hey there potential housemates, I'm a botanist about the begin my PhD at La Trobe Uni Bundoora. In my early thirties, I have partied, I have travelled, I have lived on my own and in student sharehouses, and now am looking for a comfortable place to call home. My PhD research is based on the genetics of Cannabis for medicinal purposes. I will be receiving a healthy scholarship fortnightly payment . I also work in the medicinal Cannabis industry itself. At home I'm tidy, respectful and cook most of my meals. Up for the occasional shared dinner. I like having a chat but also respect when others want time to themselves as I often do as well. I enjoy helping out in keeping the house clean and I always clean up after myself. Of course, I'm always keen to do some gardening. In my own time, I'm a regular at the gym, go for the odd bike ride, watch movies/TV series and sports, and explore things online. Outdoor adventures are my favourite but I probably won't be doing much of that while my PhD is going on. I get along best with open-minded, self-motivated, positive, and passionate people. I'm looking to live with one or two (max) professional types who are pretty stable and grounded. I have my own bedroom furniture including a desk. I also own a couch and a near-new 520L fridge if needed. Flexible with move date. If you're looking for someone who is mature but can bring a lot of cheerfullness, laughter and good energy into your home, then send me a msg! Cheers Gianni
Hi I'm Ash. I'm 30. Currently living in Thornbury and looking to continue living around there or closer to the city. I'm an Insurance Broker working in East Melbourne. I work normal business hours Monday to Friday. Very secure in my career and reliable with paying bills on time. I'm into health and fitness, going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I enjoy hanging out with friends, a few drinks on the weekend and going to the Football ⚽ I own a car so will need somewhere to park it close by. I'm a pretty social person but also very respectful of privacy. Clean and tidy.
Hello fellow potential housemates! Im a 26 year old male looking for a new place to cramp your style :) Currently I'm working 4 days a week as a gardener in Blackburn South. A bit about me: I'm a friendly guy who enjoys being social at home. Always up for a chat (whether it be shit talk, deep conversation, whatever..i love conversing with others), sharing a meal/drink, watching a movie/series, house hold shenanigans or adventures. I also enjoy some alone time here and there and I appreciate when others are respectful of this. I like to keep a tidy area and am on board for chores and general house upkeep. My hobbies include: -playing drums/guitar & recording music -reading books (fairly new hobby, currently dabbling in philosophy and fiction works by philosophers) -adventuring -watching political/philosophical debates on youtube -watching movies Ideally I'm looking for a household that would accommodate for my interest in playing drums. I'm not somebody who plays at ridiculous hours btw, if anything most of the sound will be me banging on my electronic kit. OR if you know anybody who is renting out cheap rehearsal spaces long term, then I would prefer to do that (I like the idea of the separation anywho!). I'm planning on applying to drum for bands so the drum kit may live somewhere else anyway. I also drive and own a car, so a car space would be excellent. I am looking for a household where housemates are: -respectful -open minded & kind -able to communicate -happy to socialise but also understanding of privacy when needed -overall pleasant household vibe I also own a small washing machine, large family size fridge, medium sized freezer, 3-seater couch & 2 recliners. These don't have to come with me though, if there is no space/use for these I will just sell them. If I sound like the right fit for your home, then let me know and we'll talk soon :)

Hi :) I'm a 20 year old Kiwi and I've lived in Australia since I was 5. My parents are moving back to NZ so I am looking to move out on my own. I'm very easy going, love painting, going to gigs and I play guitar and bass. I'm a huge animal lover and I have no problem living with smokers. I absolutely love cooking, I cook a huge vegan dinner for my family every night and would be super happy to cook for housemates sometimes. I'm very clean and respectful of other's privacy. My ideal night at home is a good dinner followed by chatting around the table with a glass of wine and a bit of funky music. Cheers
I'm quiet easy going who loves to draw. You'll often find me with my notebook and pens as I doodle away. Currently looking at going back to school and finally finishing my studies so plan to find a job around this schedule. I'm cashed up and able to fund my rent and bond. Ideally you will be close to transport and train station. Prefer a place that is pretty low key and minimal partying. Love a casual chat and sharing a meal. Unfortunately I do smoke so an outdoor area is appreciated. I don’t have pets but happy to love yours. Whilst I’d love a minimum of 6 months I’ve just updated my listing to include short stays as I’m open to exploring new places as I figure out where I want to live long term.
I’m a happy and kind individual who loves a laugh but is also very considerate of others. I’m a recent domestic immigrant from the Wild West (Perth) and uni graduate looking for career opportunities in Melbourne. I’m well supported so don’t have to worry about missing rent. I love to read books and bake cakes so I will bake cakes for you! I know how to keep house and am a very clean person. Not vegan/vego myself but pretty easy going and happy to follow vegan house rules :)
Easygoing and quiet. Loves to party but never at home. Bit of a IT nerd but loves gym, motorcycling. I'm and IT professional and looking for a short term place to stay whilst I start my new job in Melbourne.
Hello I'm on a working holiday from the UK. I am currently temping at Swinburne University of Technology. What makes me a good tenant? I respect people's space and their possessions. I also believe in meeting people half way so we can live smoothly- realistic expectations, rights and responsibilities apply to everyone. I enjoy Netflix, love cinema, museums, galleries and saving up for some short final trips around Australia. I don't have any pets but I love small furry, fluffy animals - rabbits, guinea pigs, and of course, cats ( I also don't mind voluntary/free pet-sitting if you're a landlord on the look-out for your next tenant). I welcome female-only flat shares but as I'm gracefully entering my 30s, I would prefer to find a small place, such as a studio or 1 bed flat just for myself.
I'm Lucy, recenlty returned from a 9 month overseas travel stint and am looking for the next stepping stone to setting up life back in Melbourne. I am a yoga teacher by love an architect by trade (not currently being one) and currently working in a cafe to get myself by. My spare time is filled with yoga, knitting and other crafty things, a love for gardening/being outside and enjoying craft beers with friends. Oh and I love to cook! I am an environmentally responsible human with a great respect for the beautiful planet we live on. I'm easy going and full of love.
I’m easygoing, independent, employed and sometimes need to chill after my work. I’m an artist and a quiet musician. I’d love a space to practise such as a garage 2-4 hrs a day preferably. I’m open minded, vegetarian but respectful of other people’s values and beliefs. I’m independent but sociable love to chat every now and again and have a laugh. I’m out and about a lot at gigs, playing music, art shows, travel and in nature. I’m in need of moving in two weeks or sooner as currently I’m too far away from my work. It’s important to me to have a place to feel at home and be respected as I do for others. Creative environment is a plus
Hellooooooo guys! I'm Thomas, a 28 year old working holiday maker from the Netherlands. I arrived in Oz about 8 months ago, but I love it so much here that I'm going to extend my visa with another year. Obviously, Melbourne is the place to be hence I'd like to absorb all the good vibes this city has to offer! I'm looking for a place that feels like home with a bunch of friendly outgoing people, though I'm not looking for a party house. Are you looking for a spontaneous, funny guy to join your 'family'? Look no further and send me a message! Cheers
Hi There! I am a 26 year old young professional beginning my career as a psychologist. I am an easy-going, respectful and fun-loving individual who enjoys staying healthy, active and positive in life. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching netflix, and drinking tea. It's also not unusual to find me in a handstand. I am looking for a sharehouse open to my two gorgeous pets (Cruiser the burmese cat and Pipkin the bunny with attitude) who are very affectionate and easy to take care of. Absolute bonus if my future housemates share my passion for sustainability, animal welfare and the vegan lifestyle :). Most importantly, I am looking for respectful, tidy, and interesting people who enjoy chatting occassionally but also give each other space. I look forward to hearing from you all. Shelley
I'm a creative, friendly person. I'm doing my Arts Honours. Love to play music, write, socialise, cook and do yoga. I'm tidy and easy to get along with. Just looking for a new place to set up a bit of a creative sanctuary for myself, but I'm keen to make some new friends along the way.

Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 26 years old and I'm a High School English Teacher looking for a team up. I've got permanent employment, basically an entire houses' worth of furniture, so all you'd need to bring is things for your own room (and maybe a dining table - thats the one thing I don't have) A little bit more about me: I am an introvert, though I am working on pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I'm a massive nerd, and I have the following consoles which I am happy to share: SNES, WiiU, Switch, Xbox 360. Plus I am looking to get a Wii to play my extensive collection of Gamecube games and a PS4 to play the games I have of those too. I have a lot of books, and enjoy reading. My other hobbies include board games, table top games (DnD and the like), Movies and TV. I also have a pet cat, who's name is Snooker. She's a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair, all black with a little white splash. She loves napping, eating, and being petted then smacking your arm away for little to no reason. She's quite a social, vocal cat. You can pick her up, but she won't always like that, and you'll be covered in black fur if you do. I would be commuting to Macleod every day, leaving nice and early in the morning (7am) and not returning until the evening (past 5:30pm) so I will need somewhere to park my car. I won't be ready to move until school holidays which is starting from the 30th of June, so we would have lots of time to get to know each other. My ideal housemate is someone who is nice, clean, with stable employment too. I wouldn't mind someone I click with as friends and can hang out with occasionally, though would also be ok with doing their own things at times. I don't mind about gender, provided you're a decent, kind person. LGTBTI+ very welcome to message too! I enjoy cooking, mostly breakfast foods. I do like meal planning my week, but I wouldn't mind someone who would like to share meals from time to time. I'm also partial to the occasional drink, though I wouldn't like living with someone who wants to have people constantly over and for parties. That's just not me. I'm more of a low-key hangout person, and I'd like someone who's similar in that respect. People who enjoy bad puns would be more than welcome. If you don't enjoy bad puns and lame jokes... I might not be the house mate for you.
Hi, I am a 24-year old Japanese/Irish who does master of development studies in Melbourne uni. I am outgoing and sociable, but respectful and easygoing at the same time. I'm a vegetarian who cooks vegan food at home, oh yes, I love cooking. But I am absolutely fine if my housemates aren't veggie/vegan. I also love animals, music, dancing and sports. I started practicing ukulele recently and I'm loving it!! :D Other than that I enjoy eating and drinking with my friends, but I am definitely not a party animal so don't worry about that :) Oh and lastly, I love learning languages and in fact I have been studying Spanish and Portuguese for a couple of years.
Hi, my name is Andrew. I'm 18 years old, and I'm studying for my Diploma of Information Technology at Melbourne Polytechnic. Currently, I'm living by means of the government, although I'm actively seeking casual or part-time employment that works with my study schedule. In my spare time, I create music (headphones aren't an issue; the loudest I would need to get is when I use my voice, which isn't very often), design covers/posters, and program. Hey, if you need a website done for anything, I can surely help! :) Speaking of helping out, I also enjoying cooking, and I don't mind preparing for meals for the household when I'm able to! I can fry a mean egg. Traits: • Easy-going; open-minded. • Privacy-conscious. • Able to adapt. I respond to criticism well, and I take responsibility for myself. Seriously, if something's bothering you about me, then by all means, let me know! The specified move date is only an indication of when I absolutely need to move out of my current situation; realistically, I won't be planning my move until after July.
About me: I'm studying full time to be a counsellor and work as a Fitzroy bartender while I finish my degree. Very social but tend to keep the social stuff outside the house. i clean the dishes as I go and wipe down a bathroom bench like a son of a gun. About Frankie: Looks like Falcor from the never ending story. 100% housetrained. Nap queen. likes: woofing in her sleep. treats. pats.
