Hi, I'm Steph a 23 year old physiotherapist working at the Austin Hospital. I will be working full time 40 hours a week, some weekends and some evenings. I am a pretty active person who loves netball and the gym. I am mature and respectful but also social don't mind a quiet drink and a yarn. I am a mature and respectful person who likes to stay active with an avid joy of netball and the gym. I enjoy a social meal and drink but likewise I'm partial to keeping to myself. I am looking for a place where I can be a housemate not just rent a room and being that I'm still relatively new to Melbourne, moving from Canberra I am keen to meet new people and would love if my housemates could help me out with that.

Hey, there! Just moved to Melbourne (2 months ago) searching for a re-start in my career (have also some study plans). Originally from Greece but i am an australian citizen. I've studied economics & politics and i used to work as Project Coordinator for an NGO responsible for assisting asylum seekers/refugees (so i can be considered as person with strong humanitarian & moral values). Currently, i am living in Oakleigh and working full time in a restaurant, but i want to move central as soos as possible. I am a positive attitude & mature personality, very extrovert who loves meeting people sharing stories, experiences, ideas and future plans. Ι' d love hanging out together every now and then during weekdays nights for a glass of wine or a beer bantering or watching movies. I' ve lived more than 6 years in shared houses, so i know how to live together with other people, respect their space, privacy and needs. i am looking to find people who value independence, privacy and hygiene the same as me. I am an active person who enjoys going to the gym, concerts, exhibitions (really interested in contemporary art), in general i'm keen on experiencing what Melbourne offers you. I want to have a ballanced life and i believe that this starts from a balanced house. Repsonsible and accurate on bill payment At the moment i am interested for 6-month minimum length stay with a possible extension if everyone is happy. If you are interested in having me as your housemate, please get in touch!
Hi Guys! My name is Leah and I'm a 25 year old nurse who is just returning after a trip overseas. I grew up in rural Vic but have in lived in Melbourne for a few years now so this isn't my first share house. I enjoy exploring the city and doing things with my housemates, but I also appreciate having time on my own. I am a pretty friendly and outgoing person who is always up for a chat over wine or a cup of tea. In my spare time I like finding a good local bar (double points if there is live music and/or a rooftop) to have a dance/drink at, going to things like comedy shows/music festivals/footy games or staying in for a Netflix binge sesh or a hilariously bad movie.
Hi, I'm Ilia. I'm 18 year old student, who is looking for a private room in northern suburbs. I believe I would be a good flatmate because I am considerate, tidy and clean up after myself. It would be great to hear from you!
Hi there, I have been in Melbourne for the past year and love this city. Originally a country girl who spent the past ten years in Sydney and travelling the world. I work in community services and love what I do. This can be draining hence why its important for me to have a quiet relaxing home to unwind when its been a long day. I am a very considerate and respectful person. I am very quiet most of the time and would like to live with others who are mindful. In saying that I love to have a chat, a drink, a laugh, share stories, watch the odd movie and am often out and about enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer. I also love music, and love to go to gigs a lot. I enjoy a day trip or a weekend away to explore new places, check out some funky markets, cook up a storm in the kitchen, or take a walk along the Merri Creek. I am very clean & tidy and am looking for a house that is the same. I love animals so any pets (dogs especially) I would be happy to have around. I work different hours however these fall only slightly out of the 9-5, and the odd weekend. I would like to live with others who are not ALWAYS home as sometimes its nice to come and zone out for a bit. Likewise I often finish work a little later, go to the gym, meet friends for dinner or hit the local for a beer and some live sport, and am more than happy to make myself scarce to give others some space. Would prefer to live with just one other, or a second if both are very mindful and out often. I don't mind if the house has a TV or not. Must have an outdoor area, enough for a BBQ or a book in the sun. Would like for the house itself to be sunny I am Vegan however am happy to share with someone who cooks the odd meaty meal. Happy to answer any questions, its really hard to know a person off a written profile and I don't feel this shows my personality at all!
Hey I'm Ryan. I'm a lot like Red from Shawshank Redemption. I really love making music on my guitar and also on the same laptop with which I am writing this ad right now. It's crazy that you can just make music on a laptop, on a plane, in a cafe, or on a train. Seriously, I've only just started getting into electronic music production. So cool. But I digest... I am a highly self motivated geezer, looking to live with other entrepreneurial minded people. I run a business from this laptop (such a useful thing), I also have a job where I do roleplaying like that Seinfeld episode (so I'm told, I haven't seen it) where I pretend I have different medical diseases, and I also work in a souvlaki shop (best fucking chips). That's how I make money, don't stress it's always coming in, and I've got quite a bit saved for emergencies. Really though I just want to live with honest people. Not even honest in the sense that you'll own up to it if you leave the butter out and it melts (although that is important), but just really people who are honest in life. Honest if they feel like shit. Honest about how you're making them feel. Honest about telling you to fuck off if you're being a cunt. So yeah that's it. I used to write ads like this saying all the standard stuff like "friendly, open down to earth guy, loves dogs" which while it is partially true, isn't the real truth. Sometimes I'm angry, sometimes I might not really want to talk to anyone and just sit in my room. But mostly I'm a pretty fun dude, I love talking to people and playing board games, and just fucking living life. Like really living. Not the bullshit living vicariously through other peoples instagram feeds, but really going out and experiencing the truth. Going for walks and laying in the middle of a football oval and listening to music on a phone while looking at the stars (that you can see through the smog). Anyway I guess I feel like Red, because he never got parole until he was just honest and stopped giving a fuck. This is how I really am, and I guess I'd rather you know now than find out later after being swindled with a fake profile. I do hope you relate to this at least a little bit though, because I've got to get out of the current place pretty soon. So hit me back, just to chat, true to yours, your biggest fan, this is Ryan.
Looking for a flat in the first week of January!! Very easy going. Clean and tidy. Love to cook with other people/shared flat meals etc. Will be on exchange to complete my final university year from New Zealand, plus working a few days a week (and travelling with work a fair bit). Love to get out and about to explore new cities! Looking to settle in Melbourne long term, and wanting a decent length (12 month) contract.
Hi, my name is Ashleigh and I'm a 24 year old student that works part-time. I'm super friendly, respectful and very clean :). I'm hoping to find a place somewhere North of Melbourne, but I'm not too fussed with which suburb. Hoping to find housemates that are keen for a house dinner or drink, and don't mind a few indoor plants. Message me if you want to know any more details
Single professional male working in the IT industry who is quiet, clean and easy to get along with. I do like to cook. Gym / cycling are a big part of my spare time. I am also your guy if anything needs fixing!
Im looking for an infurnished room from late December/early January. I’m a bi ciswoman, cheery and self-sufficient, easy-going and open-minded. I’m relatively clean and keep my mess in my room. I have two partners: one man, one woman, and I stay with them a few nights a week. Originally I’m from regional Queensland and I’ve lived in Melbourne since 2011. I work as a bid adviser, editor and event manager, and I sporadically write fiction and blog posts. I like coffee and wine and cocktails and reading and naps and cats and dogs and cooking and eating and Game of Thrones and My Favorite Murder and the Dollop.
Hi! I am Iris, looking for a place around La Trobe Uni. I am starting a bachelor of science next year, so would be looking to move in around November/December. I've recently had a nearly a year off traveling Aus in my van and working casually as a nurse. I have lived in a couple of share houses before and am respectful of privacy and belongings. I would love a to have a garden for a veggie patch and maybe chickens is possible! I love meeting new people!
Hey, I'm Flynn :) I'm 19 years old and have been living/flatting in Melbourne for two years now. I'm currently studying at full-time at La Trobe and working at Woolies in Toorak so I'm out and about almost all of the time. I love books, jazz, dogs and paying my bills on time. I'm a pretty passionate cleaner but I don't expect that from others, best of both worlds! Currently looking for a place in the Inner North, so if that's you than give me a bell!
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam

Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of 6 months, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 11th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
I'm a quiet laid-back guy who works nights in retail in Brunswick, so I'd like to live nearby, I don't drink or smoke (I don't mind if you do though) and like to spend my time relaxing back with a good book or spending time with friends and family. I make sure to always clean up after myself and don't shy away from helping out with cleaning. In saying that I do keep to myself a lot and I work nights so you might hardly see me throughout the week.
Hey everyone, my name is Alana, I’m 32, I have a beautiful 10 year old dog that is elderly and loves to lay around and be cuddled, he is a breath of fresh air and he will be relocating with me. I work full time in the city, I’m capable, clean and nice to be around. I enjoy cooking and socialising with my housemates, I want to feel at home and I’m not someone who stays in their room as I like to make a place homely, looking for cool, clean, nice, honest people to share with. Hope to hear from you. Alana :)

Hi I'm James. I'm a 31 year old electrician currently living in Northcote. I am very clean and respectful of others space. Happy to go with the flow. My hours are usually 7-3 30pm Monday to Friday. I understand that most people start work later than that so I am used to leaving the house very quietly of a morning.
