I'm a 27 year old gay guy who currently lives with my father in Richmond who I care for part time. Its pretty small here so I'm wanting my own space. I'm very clean and tidy, maybe a bit OCD lol. I'm shy at first but once I warm to people I can be myself. I class myself as an introvert that energizer's off others but do like my own space also. Always there for a shoulder to cry on and a very empathetic person, non judgmental and very open minded. I'm a typical Virgo a sensitive natural carer. I'm not one to party unless its with people I know, and usually just at a bar or a few Bundy's watching the footy. I get along with just about anybody and always up for a chat. I don't do drugs although I smoke cigarettes, which I am gonna try to give up in the near future, and I don't mind a drink or two of an evening if its been a long day. In my spare time when not working or volunteering at the Wellington community centre in Collingwood and going to lots of appointments, or caring for my Mother and Father which I have been since I was 10yo. 💗 I love to be in nature as I grew up in a small town, so i like the country feel. I pretty much walk around Everywhere to all appointment and everyday life. I'm a bit of a fitbit crazy person, I also just joined the gym. I'm a healthy eater but could use some cooking lessons lol. I love animals so if you have a pet that's a bonus. I don't like judgmental people and people who are to erratic all the time. I'd be out most days doing my own thing but weekends usually at home or out visiting friends or family. Looking to study in then near future once I settle in. I'm into fitness and just being healthy which makes me alot happier in everyday life. I try to stay positive and do some meditation nightly on my own of course. I'm easy going and wanting to meet some great people whom I can call friends through this process. If you want to know anymore just ask 😉 Hope I find a great place to call home soon. 😀 If you like my listing and think I'd suit your place, please don't hesitate to msg me.
Hi, My name is Darcy. I am a 22-year-old guy, and am a 3rd year engineering student at RMIT Bundoora. I also work part time as a dishy in the CBD (mostly night time work). About Me... In my spare time I like watching movies, listening to music, gaming, and skiing in winter. I am single, generally pretty quiet, and keep to myself in my spare time, but I am always up for a drink and a catch-up. I have been living in share houses for the last 3 years and am looking for a new place as my current lease is coming to an end and my housemates have decided to live elsewhere. What I am Looking For... I am looking for a new place that will suit my schedule going between work and Uni. I would love to live with some people that I can get along well with, but I am also conscious and respectful of the personal space required in a share house. I’m generally a pretty tidy person (but not crazy about it!) and I like to cook my own meals, I am looking for housemates who are similar. What Now? I would love to come and see the house and the room, it looks like a great space that would suit me perfectly. Is there a time that suits you, for me to come and get to know you guys and check out the space? If there is anything else you want to know about me, just ask! Looking forward to meeting you, Darcy
I'm a 28 year old animal, cartoon and internet lover. I also enjoy learning languages, cycling, hiking around the world and learning anything new! I'm always busy and like variety! I work at a wildlife sanctuary in education and at an indigenous nursery. I also have my own petsitting micro business and freelance for the environmental team at a local council. I have two rats - who I call my little men <3 Harvey and Dwayne are old and keep to themselves in their little cage sleeping the day away. You likely won't even notice they are there! If there are any other pets in the house that's ok as long as I can keep them secure in my room (a lock on the door would be great!) Due to my petsitting we do go away for the occasional weekend (or month). I can also bring some furniture/fridge/microwave if required as I had my own place while at uni.
Beth: Very relaxed, very nerdy, bad at cooking, good at baking. I'm a creative person, predominantly skilled in film making but can do a whole range of things. I'm easygoing and like to keep a pleasant household environment. I like to have a good relationship with those I'm living with! Jarrod: super chill, mega nerd, good at cooking and baking, I think I can make friends with almost anyone. Dreams of one day being a world renowned musician, pretty good bartender, so good for parties and such. You won't hear us fighting or any of that couple rubbish. We're very chill together and prefer to just hang out, play video games or watch a movie (or tv show) and eat ice cream together. We have two cats as well, Bruce and Pumpkin. Bruce is well... not very nice. He likes to bite. Probably best to not try and make friends with him. He is very large (half Maine Coon) and very floppy (Half Ragdoll). Pumpkin on the other hand, she looves pats and friends and is the most adorable little thing. She is smaller than your average cat, she loves to just hang out. We are currently living in an apartment but have recently had a big change to our circumstances so need somewhere cheaper to live. Our lease runs out June 15th so we're looking to move in the week or two before that when we'll be able to afford to pay rent and bond for another place. We have lots of furniture, most of which we are happy to sell if there's no room but a couple pieces we'd like to keep if possible. Generally we're just a chill couple that likes to hang out with people sometimes and are very creative... Feel free to contact me and ask any questions or whatever. Cheers!
Loves to have a laugh & can take a joke. Can talk til the cows come home but appreciates the ME time. Cooking is most fun when I'm bothered which is often as I love to feed others. Loves to bake. Clean and tidy. Weekend lazy's in front of the tele is the best but are ramdom. Enjoy a glass of wine occasionally when chatting with friends. I'm a smoker but only do this outdoors.
I’m a relaxed, clean and happy 26 year old who works full time as a Primary School teacher. I’m pretty chilled during the week and a lover of cheese, wine and socialising on the weekends. I often spend my spare time fawning over sloths on the Internet. I’m looking for housemates that are happy to have our own space but also keen to hang out - I love making friends! Exercise (a bit), weekend adventures (a lot), Netflix binging (all the time), too much red wine (sometimes), going to music festivals/gigs and going out to try new cafes/restaurants/bars are some of my loves! I’m a terrible singer and you will hear my efforts in the shower sometimes (sorry)…but what I lack in singing ability I make up for in enthusiastic dance moves, always having cheese in the fridge, having some kitchen things (if needed), enjoying a weekend cleaning session and always paying rent/bills on time. I have teamed up with someone through here, and we're looking for one or two more housemates to join our awesome house family! We're already looking to inspect and apply for places. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Ilaria. I come from Italy, and I've just moved in Melbourne. I'm gonna stay here until mid December working full time at school as a Language assistant (in Northcote) . In my spare time I like travelling, writing and listening to music. I'm friendly and responsible, tidy and clean. I lived in London one year. I'm looking for a share house ideally in Preston, near the train station or tram 11.
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT. In my spare time I like to chill out at home, watch movies, explore Melbourne, go to the beach, see a live gig and catch up with mates. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I cherish my alone time and view my home as a place of sanctuary and respite from the outside world. I am financially secure, I clean up after myself and respect other people's need for privacy and personal space. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
hi there, my name is Adelaide. Im super easy going, tidy and reliable to pay bills on time. Im pretty much just into reading books, listening to music and having a glass of wine and a chat. I am looking for a place ASAP and would love to hear from you soon.
A bit about me, I'm a 33 year old professional that likes to go to Pilates 4-5 times a week (I'm not a health freak just love Pilates). I try to catch up with friends and family as often as possible for dinner, coffee and sometimes a drink. I'm quiet, clean and considerate. I do most of my socializing out of the house, however like to have friends over for a coffee or a glass of wine every once in a while. The lease where I'm currently living is ending, so I'm trying to find a warm and friendly place where the move in date is middle of May, however, Im happy to negotiate. I work 8-5 Monday- Friday at ACU in Fitzroy.
Hey there! Here you have Matt (me) and my girlfriend Martine (much cooler than me). We’re both looking for a decent sized room that we could share in a homely place with good people. A decent public transport line into the city is also important. What you’re getting are two very friendly and sociable individuals who enjoy a wide variety of things such as music, film, art, travelling and DIY (Martine). I’m a recent professional working full-time for the Australian Government as an investigator (sounds very cool when I use that word) and Martine is a professional bartender and mixologist (with wicked flair talents) studying her bachelor of Marketing. I moved here from South Africa 11 years ago and Martine is about to come over (also from South Africa) in late May/early June. We are considerate and tidy individuals who would love the occasional housemate chill/drinks/meal but as a couple are also appreciative of our own space and time with each other.
I'm 22 currently working at Target and studying Early Childhood Education online. I'm fun, sociable, easy going and a clean freak. Usually love going out on the weekends with friends, but also love chilling at home in my pjs with a good movie/series, food and drink or 4. ;)
Hi I'm an easy going fun tidy girl looking for a new place . looking for something close to transport as I don't drive. I work part time and have some furniture if need be otherwise I can put it in storage. Hope to hear from you guys
I'm moving to Melbourne from Auckland, NZ. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Hi, My name is Ivan :) I am 40 years old. I am very clean, organised and respectful of people's privacy and space. I enjoy a good chat and like meeting new people. I prefer sharing a flat or house with 1 person, preferably above ground floor. I also like to live in a clean and tidy environment, a place I can call home. Kindest Regards Ivan
My partner Steve, and I (along with our two fur babies) are looking for somewhere long term to live. We are respectful, tidy, friendly people who pay rent on time and would prefer to live with people/someone who doesn't mind having a few drinks every now and then but also knows how to respect others' privacy.
I am a 22 year old french Canadian engineering student (from Quebec) doing an internship at RMIT for June, July and part of August. I am looking for a clean and furnished place to stay for the few weeks I'll be in Melbourne! I'm a fan of a lot of sports: I play volleyball, go to the gym and am generally always willing to go out and play. I enjoy being outside, going for a hike and trying out new things. I also play drums (which I obviously won't be bringing with me). I enjoy staying in for a movie at night as well as going out for a drink. Looking to meet new people and explore the country while I'm there!
Im very reliable and a dependable type of person. I enjoy cinema, books, social justice and creative pursuits. Right now I'm looking for somewhere where I can be fairly independent. I'm currently living in a share house in Coburg but I'm keen for a place of my own. I have no pets or other dependants.
Hi! My name is Chase, I was born in Newcastle but have lived in Melbourne most of my life and consider myself a local. I am a qualified audio/visual technician, currently on a disability pension and about to commence study in a new field. I have a lot of interests; sports, cars and motorcycles, martial arts, gaming, alternative fashion, piercings and tattoos, reading, cooking, music and music production, TV and anime. I am an animal lover so I'll get along with any critters that are getting around! If possible I would like to get a cat but if that's not a possibility I understand. I am someone with a positive outlook. I like to socialise and find it easy to relate to almost anyone, I love hearing peoples stories! I value tidiness and good communication, and I always pay bills on time. Non smoker. Prefer unfurnished room and somewhere to park car.
Full-time employed Monday to Friday 8 till 4.30pm, so I like to keep regular hours. Been helping run logistics for a software company for the last 12 years so it is mainly events and international for the last 2. Around the home I take things pretty easy. Like to keep everything clean and tidy even if my room can look like a bomb's gone off from time to time (the plan is to get rid of all my things and start being minimalist - see how that goes). Can cook and happiest when sharing a good meal and wine with good company (one of the things I need to get rid of is a small collection of wine, but drinking alone is not my thing). I can be unsocial from time to time and retreat to my room, but am always up for a chat if called upon and I am looking ideally for a home where I feel I belong for as long as that may be. I'm respectful of personal space and mindful of how my actions effect others. Can be spiritual and deep, but in no way consider myself an intellectual - just informed enough to have formed an opinion or feeling on most things, but open enough to enjoy having those views changed. I'm confident and open enough to say if I have a problem with anything, but hopefully also good enough to ask the questions needed to find things out when we meet. Ideally looking for a home that I get along with people well and share common areas, but can easily be happy enough chilling alone. Music is something I love. I've had tickets and to Golden Plains, Andrew Bird, the Mountain Goats, Lloyd Spiegel, Beth Orton, Brian El Dorado & The Tuesday People, and Tim McMillan & Rachel Snow this year, and just downloaded Old Crow Medicine Show's new album and listening to as I write this up. Like to go out when any good opportunity presents itself, but I don't think I'm likely to be out very late, very often anymore even if I am a bit of a night owl. Like games (have PS4, chess board and various cards), sci-fi and fantasy (have books, dvds/blu-rays- possibly to be moved on if I embrace this minimalist thing), basketball and golf - though rarely after I have played. Need to find a Place by end of July though ideally want to move ASAP so am flexible with when I move.
Hello I'm a single male looking for a nice place to call home. I like living in a clean space. I'm respectful of personal space but at the same time enjoy a good chat. I clean up after myself and would expect the same from my future room mates. I grew up in Brisbane and have been travelling and working as a cellar hand in wineries throughout Australia for the last 3 years. I have lived in Melbourne for one year. Im your mate with a Ute. I have commenced a Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Melbourne with the intention to major in Wine Science. I like hiking, travelling and good vibes with quality people, food and drinks.
Hi Guys I'm currently working in Mildura as a winemaker, but I have accepted an opportunity in a management role for a construction company in North Coburg. I will be moving back on the 7th of May. Few things about me: I'm well traveled and have lived in places such as NZ, USA, Norway and Cambodia, so I'm very adaptive and find it easy to get along with people. I like to be social and get involved with the happenings of the house, not really one to sit in my room with the doors closed. Do like a laugh and have a sense of humor. Obviously love wine and am not a bad cook either. I like to keep quite fit. I am house proud and keep things clean especially the kitchen. I have a lot of references that would happily confirm this, should you require them. Cheers Elliott
