Ready to move in ASAP!

I’m Alex, a 25 year old American from New York City who’s called Australia home for the past year, half of which was spent subletting in awesome Brunswick, Victoria. I just returned from the US, and I’m looking for a new place in Melbourne before starting a Master’s of Social Work at RMIT in later this month. I’m staying with a friend in Richmond for a week, and ready to move in asap if it’s the right fit.
I’m looking for a room with a budget of up to $330 a week, or around $1200-$1350ish per month.

Preferred locations, but not required:
Brunswick
Coburg
Richmond
Carlton
Fitzroy
Abbotsford
Prahran
South Yarra
Kensington
Moonee Ponds
Ascot Vale
Thornbury
Hawthorn

While these do not have to be exact, anything ideally within a 30 minute commute from RMIT’s main city campus by tram or PT would be awesome.

About me:
When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy playing board and video games, learning languages, photography, hitting the gym, hiking, traveling, cooking, movies, and hanging with the mates. I do not smoke, always pick up after myself, help keep things clean, and always pay rent on time.
I’m always down for a laugh and a chat, but can also respect privacy when needed. I’m also happy to provide a rental reference upon request.
