Alex

I’m Alex, a 25 year old American from New York City who’s called Australia home for the past year, half of which was spent subletting in awesome Brunswick, Victoria. I’m in the States visiting family right now, and will return on the 11th of February to Australia. I’m looking for a new place in Melbourne before starting a Master’s of Social Work at RMIT in late February/early March. I’ll be staying with a friend in Richmond for a week, and would like to move in ideally by the 18th of February, but happy to move earlier if it’s a good fit.
I’m looking for a room with a budget of up to $330 a week, or around $1200-$1300 per month.

Moonee Ponds
Ascot Vale

While these do not have to be exact, anything ideally within a 30 minute commute from RMIT’s main city campus by tram or PT would be awesome.

About me:
When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy playing board and video games, learning languages, photography, hitting the gym, hiking, traveling, cooking, movies, and hanging with the mates. I do not smoke, always pick up after myself, help keep things clean, and always pay rent on time.
I’m always down for a laugh and a chat, but can also respect privacy when needed. I’m also happy to provide a rental reference upon request.
