Hi, I'm a commencing student at Monash (Parkville). I spent a fair amount of time both as a student and full time employee in the States so I've had experiences sharing properties with other people. I'm a tidy and responsible housemate who cleans up after myself and pay rent on time. Also fun, down to Earth yet respectful when it comes to personal space (and of course inquiring the same). I don't own any pets but I love animals. Not a smoker but tolerate smoke ! I'm a fan of the outdoor (currently starting my own travel+hike blog). I don't party much but can make a mean cocktail and occasionally down to get a drink with my housemates.
My name is Maddy, I am a 23 yr old Canadian girl moving to Melbourne to undertake my Masters of Architecture at UniMelb. I'm tidy in common areas and my room is usually fairly tidy (never dirty). I have lived in roommate situations for the last 5 years so I am good at sharing spaces and cleaning duties for common areas. I have references if that helps too. I am new to the city and only know a few people so it would be nice to join a house share to have a social group. A bit about me: I am a fairly early riser (9ish) and typically go to bed about 10-11 but with school and the occasional night out it will vary. I enjoy Netflix and wine nights and being social in the house. I love fashion and I model occasionally and hope to continue this in Melbourne. I like to go to the gym every other day when I can and eat relatively healthy. In my free time I like to go to the beach, shop and explore the city. I am looking for a furnished private bedroom (preferably with a double or queen bed) near transit (I will not have a car) to the University of Melbourne or near the uni itself. I arrive on the 1st of February and can view places after that. I would like to be moved in by March 1.
*I Literally was accepted & moved into a townhouse a month ago, just found out the landlord is moving back in so we're all going. Help me out? :) Moved to Melbourne years ago from Brisbane, pretty chilled; don't mind for a chat. Love the leafy suburb where I live and have for a year, and my housemates! Work full time, try to keep fit. Always pay bills & rent on time. Also been trusted with MANY housesits so I know how to clean, even how to change a toilet roll and take a bin out :)
Danish student at University of Melbourne in the fall semester. Hoping to find a place to call home where we're friends and not just housemates. I'm outgoing and postive and love to have a good time with friends either at home or out. Doesn't matter if it's in the company of Netflix or beers, just love to hang out with good people. Will be studying full time and hope to do things around the city in weekends and weeks off.
I’m a full time BSc honours research student, in my early twenties, starting this year at the University of Melbourne and St Vincent’s hospital. I’ve just recently completed my undergraduate in biomedical science at UQ in Brisbane. I’m fairly experienced in share houses, having lived for the past two years with both genders and people from a variety of cultures. I’m looking for a relaxed and easy going environment to finish my busy year ahead. Always happy for a bit of banter and to socialise; whilst also respecting others privacy.
Hi there future flattie! I'm a PhD student moving from NZ on the 16th February to study Pharmaceutical Research at WEHI so am looking for a sharehouse within a short tram ride to Parkville. I'm super excited to explore Melbourne and hopefully live with some great housemates/friends! A bit about me - I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful of others' space. Not much of a party-goer but I do love a good chat over a wine. I love keeping fit but definitely appreciate some good comfort food and love cooking Mexican! I'm sadly allergic to cats so cannot live with cat parents :( but am a HUGE dog lover! Flick me a message if you think we would make great flatmates. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there, I’m 24 and work full time in Parkville for a pharmaceutical company and study part time in SUT . I’m looking a good place for long term either short term. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I’ll come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards, Farhan
Eager to find a house and some friendly housemates ! Available for offer: is a animal friendly (your pet will love me more!), fun and easy - going Indian girl. Helpful, happy to go out and have a fun time, flexible with most things but equally respects and appreciates space and privacy.
Hey future housemate- I'm starting honours in Psychology at Melb Uni and work (and meditate) as a classical dancer. I am very passionate about mental health and social change- and hope to do my little bit to make the world a happier place where all are welcome and free! I like to make the house feel like home and would like to be friends with my housemates! However, I do require that doctor prescribed "me time" and would always respect your privacy. I'm very chill, non-judgemental, and like to keep the communal space clean, but am in no way obsessive. Music, gym, yoga, dancing, pizza, journalling, board games, wine, animals and travelling are some of my favourite things! I enjoy heading out after work occasionally and on weekends and enjoy trying new things/meeting people! I do tend to stay up a bit later than the healthy clock as I'm usually my most creative essay writing self then- but I am very respectful of others schedules and maintain a healthy silence. I must mention that I don't want a loud party house (Parties are awesome for special occasions, totally keen to host BUT each Saturday ain't becoming a "put the red solo cups away day", coz the bitch got shit to do!!!!). Also, I am very welcoming of friends/family for dinner/wine whenever! I'm pet-friendly and will treat one with a lot of love and care. Message me if you're interested!
My name is Austen, I'm an 18 year old uni student with career aspirations in the fields of fashion and textile marketing. Currently working as a retail team leader at Kmart in a regional area. I completed year 12 in 2018 and now with my acceptance to uni I'm looking to head to Melbourne, expand horizons and make life long friends. So hi! I might be just a quiet roommate or your new mate :)
I'm a 26-year-old Entertainment Management student, currently in my final year of study. I love music and footy (AFL), and when I'm not too busy with work or studying I try to get to as many gigs and Richmond games as possible. I'm pretty easy going and usually up for a chat/drink/whatever, but like most people, I also like to have my own space. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and always respectful of other people. That's all I really ask for in my housemates as well. I'm looking to move around the 9th of Feb, but can be flexible, and I don't have my car in Melbourne so I'm after a house that is close to public transport, but other than that I'm pretty easy!
I'm easy going guy, after work I usually chill out but my plan is to go to some language exchange meet ups more regularly when I find a place to move out. I'm clean, I try really hard to make sure I'm not leaving any dirty dishes and that I clean them and dry them as soon as I'm finished using them. I don't mind scheduals if the person or People I'm living with like to work this way to keep the house in order. I'm a floor layer by trade I work from Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm. Things I like to do for fun and in my spare time would be going to live concerts, Excersising, cooking, catching up with friends, Learning to play guitar. Things I'm looking for When living with other people are respect, relaxed nature, tidiness, reliability. Well that's a bit about me, I look forward to talking to you soon. Cheers :)
I'm a second year student at Monash University studying pharmaceutical science. I work in hospitality, primarily as a cocktail bartender, but also as a waiter. Always up for a chat or an after work drink, but also respect people's privacy. Currently living in Geelong, but looking for a place closer to uni.
a 20yo qlder, coming up on my third year living in melb, looking for some wonderful people to share a space with! studying arts (💀) and working at woolies, which is an obvious pro because my team discount will become your team discount $$$ will be chill with you if you're chill with me, pasta thursdays?, can adapt to any cleaning schedule. hobbies include sleeping, reading, indulging in the occasional sunday sesh, and hoovering down chocolate.
Hi everybody, I'm a chef by trade and work full time. I'm quite busy either working or going to the gym and I'm pretty quiet. I like to socialise sometimes but also appreciate time by myself. I understand what it's like to live with housemates and to respect each other's space and privacy. I'm looking for a cool place to live where we all get along!
Hi, My name is Ram Babu and I'm 19yo. I'm originally from Darwin but currently in my second semester at RMIT. I'm a very friendly person that understands privacy and I love soccer and music. I'm just looking for a nice room to move into that's fairly close to the RMIT building in the city or fairly easy to get to from.
Hi, I'm Irvine from Indonesia. Currently a student at Monash University (Parkville campus). I'm neat, tidy, clean and love reading. So you won't have to worry about noise pollution.
Hey I'm Joel - I'm 28 and I work full time at a High School as an AV Technician. I also play in a cover band and we gig every Friday night in the city. My party days are well and truly behind me now so I'm looking to find a place where I can decompress after work and just chill out. I am very clean and organised and clean up my own mess. I am flexible on how the house is run. (ie. sharing food space, cooking together, splitting bills, etc.) I can be social but I also like to have my space (as I feel most people do) keeping up communication in a household is pretty important so everyone doesn't start secretly hating each other (war stories!) Would be interested in meeting people too, forming an ultimate house-hunting team to look for a sweet place for us to live!
