Hey possible future flatmates! I've just come off the back of a year backpacking the exotic lands or europe/africa and want to live and work somewhere relatively close to Melbourne! I'm 23 originally from Sydney, I have moved to Melbourne in hope to bask in the creative machine that Melbourne is meant to be! I am a very sustainable, eco friendly kinda guy and and enjoy all sorts of sports, bushwalking/gardening and attempting to play guitar from time to time! I working full time at the moment but plan on in the coming months to take on more casual kind of work to maximise my time being able to enjoy the city and it's surroundings more! I hope too hear from you soon and be able to explore the city more with my future flatmates! Thanks
Hi, I'm Tom. In 2019 I'm moving to Melbourne for a job at the Royal Children's Hospital. I've lived in shared accommodation for years. I think a good housemate is friendly, fun and chips in equal measure with the place. Ideally I'd be keen for a social group of people, I'm keen to go out to bars and restaurants or to stay in and do activities with the group I'm living with. My job involves shift work so every now and then I might be in and out of the house at strange times. For fun I like reading, running and classic Simpsons/Seinfeld. I bought a surfboard this year but I'm still terrible.
Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Hi! My name’s Olga, I am a nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital ED. I am usually working and if I am ever home I am pretty easy going and flexible. Dont worry about hosting parties or having people over when im catching up on some 😴 .I sleep like a log....no amount of party noise can wake me up so feel free to turn up the bass. looking forward to meeting you!
I recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland for work (in the city), so far I've fallen in love with a lot of what Melbourne has to offer - cafes, culture, hikes. I love movies (Star Wars of course) and keeping active, playing social basketball and volleyball after work during the week.
I'm a young friendly person working In the Esports Industry. My hours are very flexible and I often work from home so I may be out or in at strange times but I am always keen to hang out with people. I don't smoke, use drugs or have pets but do enjoy the occasional drink. I clean up after myself, have good hygiene and have a steady income so will always pay on time. My only Requirement is a High speed internet connection (up and down) that is required for my job. Hope to hear from people soon!
I'm a 28 year old working full time in the city. Interests include football, socialising, running, outdoor activities, reading and music. Very generic I know. Fairly clean and house-trained. Would like to have housemates that are cool to hang out with and have a wine or two after work but at the same time respect each other's space and privacy.

Hi I am a young at heart 60 year old QA Manager with a local food manufacturer. Originally from England, I have lived the last 5 years in Melbourne, after spending 20 yrs in NZ. I am house trained, can even cook. I enjoy most sport, quiz shows, British TV dramas, reading , music , a few beers at the weekend. I am looking for a room as I have just gone through an amicable separation from my partner, we have decided she should stay at our current house &; I would move out. Well that's my pitch hope to hear from you.
I’m 22 years old and work two jobs so am rarely ever home. I’m looking for a room to rent as my current housemate has her brother moving to Australia and he will be occupying my room as of the 1st of October. My budget is max $300pw. I am clean, tidy, respectful and pay rent and bills on time.
Hi! I'm Emma and looking for a place preferably in the inner suburbs, close to work and training. I'm currently working part time at woolies and train acrobatics 4 times a week, so I'm pretty busy and between the two don't have much free time. I'm pretty chill, clean and enjoy some nice banter once you get to know me
Hey! I'm Ety, a brazilian happy soul who’s in Australia to study and have a good time 😉 I’m in Melbourne since an year and staying for long. I’m used to live at share houses and I appreciate a clean and organize space. Tbh I'm most of the time at work or Uni but I’m aways happy to catch up in my free time.
Hey there, I turned 20 this year and moved down to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Architectural Design at RMIT. I currently work casually at a coffee joint in the city, following a year off last year where I was working at an architecture firm up in Canberra, and as a barista part time with an incredible group of people. My contact hours vary during the week Monday through to Thursday, but Fridays and Saturdays I work roughly 20 hours. My degree is super intense if if I find myself with some spare time on my hands I'm always up for a chat over a coffee (or the occassional glass of wine) but I also enjoy my own down time. I enjoy reading, listening to music and banging out sketches in my spare time, but I also value the people in my life and will always try to prioritise time with family and friends, but I also enjoy a few quiet minutes for myself. I promise you I keep things tidy and clean and will never be opposed to helping out around the house whether it be cleaning, cooking - so long as there's a recipe involved, tidying or even yard work. I make a phenomenal cup of tea and can wrap someone in a blanket to go with it if needed when you're down or sick. I'm always up for some fun and games, but I'm also more than happy to give people their space as needed. I'm stoked to be back in Melbourne and I hope I can find a home with some groovy people! I hope to hear from you soon and if there's anything else you need to know don't hesitate to get in touch, Maddie
Very sociable, banter on tap but do love some quiet myself and respectful of others space. Sprinkle in a pinch of OCD means I’m tidy and orderly but won’t throw a fit if the cutlery draw is a pic’n’mix. Generally clapped so you’ll always feel Vogue. Enjoy watching/playing most sports, although this interest doesn’t parallel my fitness. I work full time, currently in hospitality, meaning I won’t be under your feet.
I’m 22, and am working full time at the moment in hospitality, thinking of getting back into study next year. I’ve been know as the 'old souled 22 yr old’, but love a good bit of social hangout time and a few drinks here and there. Im a clean and tidy person and am always happy to do more then my fair share of house work if reciprocated. I also have a cat, her name is Pudding, she is a shy and timid female ginger, once you get to know her she'll indulge in a good head scratch. A little about what im looking for: People who are tidy and clean up after themselves, contribute to house cleaning, keep the communal space clean of your clutter, open minded. :)
Hi, I am an easy going and considerate bloke who respects everyone's space. I’ve lived in share accommodation for many years, so understand the boundaries, respect and courtesy that come with sharing a home. I work as an IT consultant in the city and looking for a room on walking distance to station and close to CBD. Looking for something long term and enjoy building friendship with great housemate. Usual weeks I am busy at work and spend some me time at home afterwards. However, I am always up for detailed discussions with interesting people. On weekends, I catch up with friends, play table tennis, soccer, or go for hiking if weather permits.
I am a postgraduate student from The Netherlands and will do a research project at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health for 6 months. At home, I live in a quiet area with my long-term boyfriend and puppy for over two years now. I am looking for a nice home in Melbourne during my internship. I am very sociable and I like to chat, but I also like the quiet and peaceful. Furthermore, I would like to get to know more about the Australian culture and the country! Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem. In addition, I really like to cook and bake, so you would be getting a lot of cookies.
I am argentinian on a working holiday visa. Love a good conversation with good company but I also enjoy time alone. I am passionate about many things. I studied films and I am a photographer. I am very clean and tidy. Would like to get along with my flatmates and make a real home.
