Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
Hi I am a young at heart 60 year old QA Manager with a local food manufacturer. Originally from England, I have lived the last 5 years in Melbourne, after spending 20 yrs in NZ. I am house trained, can even cook. I enjoy most sport, quiz shows, British TV dramas, reading , music , a few beers with friends at the weekend. I am looking for a room as I have just gone through an amicable separation from my partner, we have decided she should stay at our current house & I would move out. Well that's my pitch hope to hear from you.
Hello everybody, my name is Jenna and I am moving to Melbourne to study my Masters Degree at VU Footscray Campus in Clinical Exercise Science and Rehab. Originally from Wollongong, NSW. Moving to Melbourne for a change of scenery and because I love the city so much! I am a compassionate, kind person who likes travelling, exercising, cooking and hanging out. I like to do a little photography in my spare time.
Steady, career sorted and reliable guy who's laid back and doesn't take himself too seriously. I'm a nut for cleaning and enjoy quiet beers. Always up for a chat and/or drink but will easily let other people do their own thing while I do mine. From the countryside originally, I mostly just read/game/listen to music and watch nerdy tv shows and horror movies to pass the time. I have my own bedroom furniture and some other household furniture (fridge, tv, freezer and top loading washer). I'm a shift worker so sometimes work night shifts
Queer trans couple, two dogs (border collie + greyhound), one cat.
I enjoy travelling, have an interest in reading, fitness and I love to cook! Having just finished a six month solo trip across the globe while staying in more than a dozen backpacker hostels, I've learnt to strike the balance between being sociable and keeping to myself and respecting others' desire for space and privacy. I am tidy and always clean up after myself. I love trying new activities and making new friends. I'm starting a law degree in Melbourne in 2019 and for that reason, I am looking for a place close to the CBD.
hey my name is Jacob I am 25yo Male and I am working fulltime in project coordination. Im pretty social but do like my own space. Im always keen to watch some live music. Hello! I'm from Canada and will be studying at the University of Melbourne for the next four years so I need a place to live! I'm a huge foodie and coffee lover, and love cooking (well.. mainly eating). Sociable, clean, and chill. I love traveling and hearing about travel stories. Interests mainly include breakdancing and eating.
Hi, I’m looking for a room in Melbourne, near Footscray from November to April. Im going to be playing AFLW with the Western Bulldogs for the upcoming season so will be working part-time and training most days. A place near public transport would be preferable. Im easy-going and tidy.
Hi, I'm a mother of two from Brunei Darussalam & I will be bringing my daughter to start Uni in Melbourne mid February 2019 and staying on for awhile until she is nicely settled with her friends in long term accommodation. So for myself (one person only), I am looking for short term accommodation from 18th Feb until 8th March 2019; either a Private room but housemate(s) must be all female(s) only (not more than 2) or an Entire place if any within my budget of A$350+- per week in Melbourne CBD area or its surrounding up to around 15mins by tram/train to Melbourne Central Station or near to Uni Melb. I am easygoing, friendly, tidy, clean, respectful of others' personal space & property. I rarely cook, if I do it will be light cooking. I'm also a non-smoker & looking for a clean, tidy, quiet place with WiFi, Kitchen and living room area in case my daughter and/or son (who is currently studying in melbourne) drops by. But most of the time, I will be out with my kids or exploring Melbourne myself for the rest of my trip :)
I have just finished my degree and currently looking for a full-time job as a paramedic. I am super organised and never late with payments. I like to keep fit and healthy and compete in rowing in my spare time. I have a small maltese x shit szu who is very well trained and doesn't drop hair. I have been living in the outer suburbs of Melbourne but am looking to move closer to the city
What makes me a good housemate? Fun,friendly and mature. I’m clean, tidy and easy going. Port Augusta, South Australia is where I have come from. I enjoy music, cooking, diving, reading, drinks with friends, movies and playing games just to name a few. Iam working full time in melbourne and would like to live close-ish to the city. Let’s meet up and have a coffee/tea/beer and see how we go✌🏻
Hey, I'm an Indian boy who studies and also works at 2 jobs, who is hardly at home, but when I'm at home I like to cook, eat, netflix, and have a conversation, I'm very keen on cleanliness and I'm very easy to go to.
Howdy :-) I'm from country Victoria and I work in women's intimate apparel (I make people feel saucy for a living; essentially). I feel like I have a good balance with my appetite for socializing and downtime. By myself I try to be as creative as possible, drawing and writing are my outlets, I also love experimenting in the kitchen. I cook for myself mainly vegetarian/vegan dishes, and I love baking sweet treats. I thoroughly enjoy cooking for people in general, I find it therapeutic. I have a really high standard of cleanliness, always have, always will. You'd probably catch me reading something autobiographical, or based on naturalism/biology or archaeology, sometimes graphic novels. I have a green thumb; I love growing my own produce where I can, and I have several indoor plants that I consider my children, I would protect them with my life. When socializing, I love a chill dinner and drinks out and about. Like the occasional night out, but I'm kind of an old soul. Very much into going to cafe's for breakfast/brunch, scoping op shops and record shops. Alternatively I'm just as satiate sitting in a park on a rug in the sunshine with a bev. Any company is good company! Down for whatever, whenever. I love pets, so you'll never have to worry about me accepting your fur baby, feathered baby, or maybe even scaley baby with open arms. Preferably all female/wxmen household or femme balanced dynamic 😘. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from some of you soon. Stay snazzy Keely x
Originally from Canberra, but promise I'm more not boring! Currently living in Kew but seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner north area. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Full time student studying pharmaceutical science at Monash University. I'm currently living in Geelong but I want to move closer to uni. I work in hospitality, mainly as a bartender. I'm clean and tidy, and like to keep active
Hey I’m easy going. Sometimes I am quite and keep to myself. I also enjoy having a chat and socialising. I clean up after myself and I am neat and tidy. Also I enjoy a good fishing session so if I catch the house can enjoy a fresh feed of fish :)
Hey. I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and a fun flatmate. I enjoy meeting new people, going on food adventures and socialising, but I'm not a party person. I’m a huge fitness fanatic, love exerciseing and am constantly at the gym. And I love animals too. Right now, I currently live on the Gold Coast, but I will be making the move to Melbourne at the end of January to further my career in fashion photography. I’m ideally looking to be close to the city as I can, or a place close to reliable public transport. Looking for a roommate/s (male or female) that are similar to me, career driven and are not party people. Additionally, I’m also looking for a room with my own bathroom. Also, happy to team up for a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom place etc.
I'm a 32 year old female secondary teacher (Drama, English and Media!). I'm interested in finding a place to live for 12+ months as I'll be starting a new full time teaching job in January. I've been teaching in regional Victoria for the past two years so pretty excited about moving back to a city! I'm working out in the country until right before Christmas, but pretty interested in getting a place sorted before December gets crazy :) Other than teaching, I really love going to gigs, love a bit of live storytelling, movies, podcasts, reading, baking, hiking, board games etc! I love being part of a friendly, clean and respectful household. I also have a dog called Wombat - she's a small chocolate schnoodle (schnauzer x poodle cross). She is super affectionate, toilet trained, non-shedding and is pretty much the best!

Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
I am very laid back and friendly. I like to keep my house clean and am considerate of people's space. Don't mind socializing and sharing a meal every now and then though with some Ntflix-ing. I like to cook but not so enthusiastic about it so order food every now and then. Work fulltime at Target HQ. Will be paying rent on time. I have a good bunch of friends so most of the weekend I'll be out and about. I like to go the gym 3-4 times a week after work. Williamstown area is where I'd prefer to live as it is closer to my work. Happy to team up as well. Ideally would like to move in by mid December before going overseas for 3 weeks on the 20th. I like pets and would love to have a dog of my own too in the future. Sadly wherever I've lived before wasn't pet friendly. Planning to stay in my next place for at least 6 months or more. Happy to provide references :)
I will be graduating from uni in December and am working part-time at the University of Melbourne at the moment. I've been living in college during uni and am excited to move out to try a new living experience. I'm super clean - take shoes off at the entrance of the house, etc. - and I believe in mutual respect and consideration within a house. I enjoy a quiet night chatting and watching TV or playing board games. I am also happy on my own reading a book. I'm looking for a full-time job as an engineer in Melbourne, and aim to make this new apartment my home for at least 6 months. I would like my own bathroom, preferably ensuite at $300/week or less, including bills.
I'm an Australian University of Melbourne student starting medical school in 2019 and looking to move into a room in a sharehouse close to uni for about 12 months. I'm super clean (will happily help out with any chores that need doing) and respectful of peoples' privacy but am also happy to have a chat. I've been living in shared housing for the past 3 years during my undergrad. Since I'll be starting medicine I'll likely spend a lot of my time at uni/studying, so I wouldn't really be suited to a sharehouse that has a lot of parties or is generally very noisy.
Hi, I'm Ana, an international student living in Melbourne. I'm looking for a room in a place that I can really feel at home. I'm very calm, a dog lover, clean and friendly person. I would love flatmates to share a little of my day and have fun times. Thanks! 😊
Katherine and I are friends from Geelong who both work as nurses in the Melbourne area - we are outgoing and friendly people. We respect having alone time, space and love to watch netflix. I (Bridget) love to get outside, go to the gym and walk! Kath loves cooking and could probably quote from any movie you ask of! Looking to move into an established place, move time flexible across January, boys/girls we don't mind.
Honest and quiet person looking for an accommodation there because of my new job. I try to be active playing some sports and relaxing activities. Waiting to meet new friends there to play some common sport or just for an interesting conversation with a dinner or drinks in between. Respectful with everyone and expecting the same in return.
Hi I'm Chris - 30, from Scotland, been in Melbourne since last Jan, I work in advertising (on that sponsorship gravy train). I party with homemade muesli, cycling to work, playing guitar and making spreadsheets of films/TV and rating them numerically in order to improve myself. I'm housetrained/respectful/easy going and all the other stuff you don't make it to 30 without being. I also know a fair bit about the Simpsons and would be an addition to any pub quiz team *immediately pressure sweats* x
I’m a relatively quiet person that mostly keeps to herself in order to succeed in my studies. However, I love stopping to have a chat and hanging out with others. Employed part-time and enjoy being active.
Hellooo!! I'm a 20 year old student looking for an open-minded environment to call home. Heya, I'm a kiwi moving over from Vancouver to start a Masters of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Looking for a household of fun but mature housemates to share a relaxing, inviting space plus the occasional meal with. I'm easygoing and sociable - looking forward to getting to know the art/design/music/film scene of the city. Love an outdoorsy lifestyle (volleyball, soccer, squash, bouldering) and will probably be out of the house early most days. Would love to find a light, tidy, plant-filled home with some like-minded grad students or young professionals. I can drive, speak french and make you crepes when you're hungover!
