Hi there, I’m a 35 year old high school teacher with a 4 year old border collie. I live fairly quietly, love to walk, bike ride, do yoga, travel, eat simply & healthily and, when I have my own place, I love to potter in the garden. I keep my space clean and pick up after myself. My dog, Banjo, is well trained and exercised every day. I’m very good at keeping yards clean with a regular poo patrol and would really value living with/among folk who are relaxed with dogs & willing to give him the same boundaries that I do. Banjo has always been allowed to spend time inside with me and sleeps inside at night. He is left outside while I’m at work. If we sound like okay housemates to you, let me know and I’d love to pop by! Many thanks, Suzi

Hi there, I'm Sam. I am a student and work part time at Smiths Alternative. I enjoy music and literature and can often be found reading, listening to records or playing guitar. I am neat and tidy and considerate of the other people that I live with.
Hi there, I’m a creative, self employed woman who is looking for a stable house for myself and my nearly 12 yr old poodle cross dog. I am friendly, reliable and considerate and looking for a homey house, or to team up with one other person. My beloved doggy is in the latter years of his life, so looking for a dog friendly stable house for a year, whilst saving up to buy a property. I like film, good tv (and some trash TV), don’t drink or smoke. I am fairly quiet and respectful and like to live with people I can chat and laugh with.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
I currently work full time in the Public Service and also study teaching at the University of Canberra. I am friendly, organised, clean and love to exercise and hang out with friends in my free time. Hoping to find a relaxed and fun share house close to the university.
Hi! I am moving to Canberra in May to start a new job in consulting. I am moving from North QLD so I'd love to find a room with some housemates where I am able to make friends and socialise. I am clean and quiet but happy to have a chat and hang out! Thanks (:
Hi there, I'm Jason, currently living in Sydney,NSW. I have been offered a fixed term contract to work as a Finance Professional (Accountant) with a Federal Government Department. Ideally I'd like to secure a place by 1st May so that I may be able to commence my role immediately in Canberra, ACT. I'm a very neat and tidy person and respect the privacy of those whom I stay with regards to cleanliness, respect and keeping noise to a minimum. I am however very social and would welcome the opportunity to have a conversation and participate in sporting and non-sporting activities as hobbies sometimes or just chill with drinks. Did I mention that I'm a good cook and am willing to share some of my delicious food! :) ;) . Only one way to find out. Haha!
Full-time student & freelance professional originally from China, love food (wish to try out all the hatted restaurants in Canberra), gym (usually go to Fitness First), cooking (always clean up while cooking, never leave the kitchen in a mess), reading (mostly novels, occasionally non-fiction), museums, galleries, theatres, music (indie/pop/rock/post-rock, love to attend gigs, concerts, musicals) , coffee (make pour over or cold brew almost every morning, planning to purchase a coffee machine this year to learn to make milk-based coffee), exploring fun spots in town or sometimes just lying on the couch enjoying the sweetness of doing nothing. Quiet, respectful, neat, tidy, chill. Looking for someone to share a nice, clean and cozy flat with.
We are a couple who love socialising and having a good time. We are easy going however we both work quite a bit during the weeks so we like our weekends to chill out. We are looking for someone who is tidy, respectable and easy to get along with. We are super easy to live with and love to have a quiet beer after work. I (Calle) am a second year Social Work student and work casually as a bartender, I’m a home body when I am able to and enjoy cleaning weirdly enough. Craig is a refrigeration mechanic and works quite a bit. I am crazy about plants and we are both suckers for animals. Please if you think you could live with us, get in touch and we can go from there. Thank you!
Hi I am person looking for a good place to rent which will have a secure area for me to lock up my tools. The perfect place would be one where I have a garage to tinker around in and space to set up my own TV. I am easy to get along with and enjoying living in a clean house where I contribute to the happiness of the house.
Hey! We are a friendly, active and fairly busy couple, looking for a place to stay with our lovely (Well behaved) Dog Yuki. We both play a variety of sports as well as go to the gym, regular snowboarding trips etc. We also enjoy a night in watching a movie! I (James) love to cook whenever I get the chance and enjoy the occasional group dinner as well as just doing our own thing. We have lived with couples and singles before and are neat, tidy and very respectful of others personal space. Looking to move in somewhere soonish! We also have enough furniture for a 3 bedroom house except for the actual other bedrooms.
I'm a public servant looking for short term accommodation anyehere close to a direct bus to the city. I'm hoping to find somewhere warm for the winter months and ideally, a place I can keep my cat, George with me. He's big ol panther but he's very cool. On the weekends i do my best to get our of the house to catch up on some studies, find a quite space to read and check out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. This is very important to me. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly autumn weather has been a surprise! I will happily talk to you about heating expectations etc before we get to winter. Cheers, Rose
Hi everyone, My children and I are desperately looking for a rental, private or agency, doesn't matter! I am completely negotiable on price, although probably can't push more than $350 P/W. I am hoping to find a 1 or 2 bedroom granny flat, share house, unit etc, I am 100% flexible, as long as it's big enough to house us. About my family.. I am a 23 year old female, who is currently 36 weeks pregnant, and studying part time, I also have a 2 year old daughter. I need your help to find our family a place to call home, before this baby comes! Thank you.
I'm Dan. I work in public relations for the Department of Defence and currently completing my Masters. I am always up for a chat over a couple of drinks. I enjoy books, movies, and sometimes video games. I am quiet (prefer consuming media with headphones) and very clean. I normally meal prep on a Sunday and then I'm pretty much done with the kitchen for the week. No pets of my own but I love animals. I consider myself very laid back, except when competing at board games.
I just moved to Canberra to do my PhD on tropical medicine. In my free time I like to go running, rowing, camping, playing tennis/squash and traveling. I am looking for a relaxed place not to far away from ANU.
I'm friendly, clean, neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a few years now and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working part-time as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I have an assistance dog who is ridiculously well behaved. At times, I work from home auditing cases. Please note: I'm only looking to rent as a co-tenant or as a head tenant. I'd be willing to discuss all agreements upfront, even an occupancy agreement with the proviso that I be given a 4 to 6 weeks notice period. Hey guys, the rental market is brutal out there! I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
A fun and easy-going person who's always up for a chat but at the same time respectful enough to give everyone their own space. I believe 'mutual respect' is the most important element for peaceful co-resistance and I always take extra care in making sure that my actions don't hurt/bother the people I live/stay with. And besides all that, I also believe that a little fun hurts nobody! :)
I'm doing Honours in visual art ANU. When I’m not studying, I love to head up to Mt Ainslie or out to the Cotter, cook dinner for friends, or spend time with a book. I'm looking for a place to call home for this year and possibly the first half of next. Somewhere that's a great environment to be in, not just a room to bunk in. I’d love to share dinner or a glass of wine when our schedules permit, but also like my own space when studying. I hope I’d be welcome to have friends over too! Shoot me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I work full time for the government, I keep fit and spend a lot of time out of the house. I have a 6 month old dog who is well-behaved and spends most of her time outside. I have heaps of pot plants but not very much stuff. If I'm not out of the house I love a chat and a wine, but also a big fan of spending time alone reading or watching TV.
