I'm moving to Canberra to begin a PhD at ANU. I lived in Canberra for four years during my undergrad but have been overseas for the last six months. About me: I study physics, I'm from NZ but moved to Australia almost ten years ago, I run competitively (and will often be out running in the evenings), love getting outdoors/hiking, and am keen to try growing a few veggies.

Very easy to get along with. Hi, I'm Toni! My friends would tell you that I'm adventurous, fun and enjoy meeting new people. If I'm not studying or working; I enjoy a good BBQ, watching the footy (AFL!), beers at the pub, hanging with friends, swimming or just watching some Netflix. I am looking to live with some likeminded individuals who enjoy a good laugh and some fun but who also enjoy some downtime! :) I am a clean individual, will respect the privacy of others and can make you laugh with my not so funny jokes, ha!
I'm a proudly omnivorous, non-smoking, communications professional of the straight 40+ male variety who is sans pet. Working as a contractor in Tuggeranong and eager to find a room in a location where the travel time is less of an ordeal. Those hours I'm at home and awake (which aren't many at the moment) will most likely be devoted to pursuing starving literary pursuits (because writing and journalism is SUCH a boom industry right now) but I usually write elsewhere. Basically, an arty-farty wanker with a pesky social conscience I have a passing interest in most sports, but do not have the passion for them I did in the past. Very happy to let housemates keep to their own devices. Just looking for a place that's relatively tidy and relatively quiet.
I am a childcare professional working in Forde, Canberra after 3 lovely years of stay in Sydney. What's great to live with me? I love cooking so you won't have to starve, I keep my area(s) clean so you don't have to worry about mess. I enjoy having a glass of wine once a week with company but completely understand if you don't want to see my face... I love my me time(alot) SO i understand privacy and will respect your space. Ideally looking for a furnished room... If you like the sound of me, send me a message and we can arrange a time to meet at soon.
Hi :) I'm 25 and moving to Canberra for the first time on a temp contract on the 6th of August and need all the help I can get. I am looking for a short term to start off with and if I get extended, hopefully, longer term rental. As I don't know my way around yet, I am looking for something very close to work - Acton, Reid, Braddon and Turner would be ideal. However you have an apartment/house that is close to busses, and a short bus ride away, I'm definitely interested. Thanking you all in advance if you have read this and if you can help!! Lana
Hey I'm Soraya, I'm 24 and I work full time as a Social Worker. I'm a pretty chilled out person, in my spare time I like to hang with friends, watch dumb tv shows or go on adventures. I'm a pretty clean person (not weird about it though) and I'm always up for a chat. I have a staffy Dudley and we are a package deal. I'm looking to move ASAP so hit me up!
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time. Remi is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who loves people and other dogs. He sleeps outside but is very affectionate and will want to hangout with his roomates.
Hello, my name is Tim, I am a full time public servant 25 years of age. I am ideally looking for a place to live near Braddon, so I can walk or ride to work. About myself, I have been living in my current share house for around a year and a half. Unfortunately my room mates have decided to take the plunge, and move out with their significant others (like I am not good enough for them!). This, and the fact that the kettle keeps shorting the circuit board have convinced me its time to find a new place. I enjoy tea (hence why the kettle issue is such a concern), reading, computer games, and movies. I am also an avid music listener (don't worry I have headphones), and am always happy to discuss music with people. On the weekends I am generally found riding up and down hills on my bike, or lazing about in front of a screen. I am ideally looking for fun and friendly housemates who like to share a drink or a meal with each other, but also know when some alone time is necessary. If I sound like some one you might like to meet, please feel free to contact me. P.S I've listed a move out date of September 1st, but this is flexible.
I'm Barry, I was a student, taking a break from uni to work. Currently working part time, looking to go full time in the near future. I have lived in a share house before and the recommendation i got from the owner helped me rent my own place. I am now looking to get back into share housing. I enjoy having a clean place, and would be more than happy to help around the house. I have my own car and furniture (bed, desk, chair, etc) so an unfurnished room is highly preferred. I also have a sofa, coffee table, TV stand, fridge and washing machine if any of these are needed. In my spare time, i enjoy video games and am looking to get back into biking. Would be awesome if we could bike together!
Easy to get along with middle aged guy, can hold a conversation if required, or am equally at home just relaxing in front of the tv. Very clean and tidy, and can cook up a storm in the kitchen!
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand ! I am up for a Skype if you consider it helpful, just send me a message.
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I am a very clean and tidy person. Willing to care for the home as if it was my own. I make a good stir fry and scrambled eggs, or making toast. Looking for a share house with 2 or 3 people max (Including myself), and which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.
Recently returned to Canberra. Looking for a long short-term place to let me settle back in. Am quiet, polite and tidy-ish. Working full-time in Civic and studying part-time. Although I have a car I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (ACTION) and shops and with safe/secure off-street parking.

Hi, I'm a working professional also studying part time and now looking for a place to stay in Canberra during the week when I'm away from home. I would enjoy being in a musical household as I play guitar and I would enjoy sharing meals on occassions. I'm neat and tidy and respectful of others.
Hi! My name is Hannah. I am a 24 year old University of Canberra student looking for a household to move in with that are positive, relaxed and friendly. I work part-time / study part-time and like to keep a busy social life! I do also have a cat that I need to house with me. He is super friendly, affectionate and loves a good cuddle. I am happy to either socialise with my housemates or keep it strictly professional - whatever suits you!
