Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days per week. P.P.S. I am a non-smoker, but I don't mind if you smoke, so long as it's outside and not in the house. P.P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
I am not really an extrovert but I like to be part of a group with different interests. I enjoy watching sports like rugby cricket and soccer. I really love music and sometimes do shows as a rapper! I like going out and socialising too.
Hey Flatmaters, i'm Anthony, looking to relocate up to Canberra soon. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social, enjoy a chat. Currently self employed in IT. About me : Creative type, musical, enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends... Most of my friends are in their early to late 30's - so looking for those kind of demographics. Have my own bedroom furniture (queen bed, bedside tables) + a studio desk i'll need space for. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
We are a geeky, quiet couple who like playing video games, cooking up a good dish, watching Netflix, anime and copious amounts of youtube. Ben is often working on some kind of project often involving robotics or programming, and Shannon is often drawing, illustrating and enjoys creative projects. We both enjoy video games, board games and occasionally going to jazz club. We both are self-employed and run our own start-ups as well as aid other businesses around Canberra. Ideally, we would like to get a 2 Bedroom apartment close to the city with either another person or preferably another couple. But are open to getting 1 or 2 Room in a sharehouse elsewhere. Feel free to message us for a chat or meet up for coffee. :) Ben: Flatmates autocrops the picture... no face for me.... :( Shannon: I AM THE RULER OF FACES NOW!!!
Hey Hey I'm a pretty layed back kind of chick that works full time as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic. I'm clean and tidy. I'm in to music and love sharing new finds. I have quite the skateboard collection, i love skating and snowboarding. I'm pretty outdoorsy. I'm always up for a chat over a drink. I'm very easy going and completely understand privacy. I moved to Canberra only a couple of months ago. I'm living with my brother in a big sharehouse. I'm looking to find something smaller and hopefully cleaner!
Hi my name is Ian and I'm currently employed at the Canberra hospital as a registered nurse working full time more than 40 hours a week. I own my own car and am able to pay rent on time. My previous landlords, house mates and friends consider me a reliable and respectful tenant. I have a 5 month old, well-behaved rag doll kitten that I keep clean. I am passionate about anime and learning, and consider myself a responsible and tidy tenant.
Hi. We are two full time PhD students at ANU researching in the areas of ecology (Kelly) and primatology (Sarah). We are currently living in a townhouse in Lyneham but would like to move into a bigger (and warmer) house when our lease is up in mid-July, so are looking for someone to team up with us. We'd like to get a relatively decent place - up to $600 a week (max) for the total rent in the northern suburbs of Canberra. One of us is a vego and one is a vegan, one likes to have a wine at home and be a bit social and the other doesn't drink much, both like to have a chat and we are both friendly and easy going. One of us likes the gym the other likes bush walking, bird watching and yoga. We are both clean and tidy and especially respectful of shared areas. Looking for a like minded easy going tidy person to join us when we move. I have all the shared household furniture and kitchen items except for a dining table/chairs and outdoor furniture.
Hey all so I'm a 29yo guy working full time with Unisys who has been about the block with share houses for a while now so I've got the routine sorted. I'm pretty busy during the week at the moment with overtime but I love cooking, reading and having some good times be it a simple cuppa or a games night among housemates but lets be hones who doesn't like some sneaky UNO and a few drinks. Hoping to find some people to share with, either an existing house or to form a new one, that like to have dinners together that I can bounce recipes off and have a good time. As for socialising I regularly go to the movies with friends every Tuesday and you're more than welcome to join the group. I love the going out to wine and dine the night away occasionally at a good restaurant so if dining is your thing hit me up
Female, full time student, studying law. in my final year and applying for internships. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
I am a type of guys who want to keep things tidy, organise so i prefer to live people who keep the living space clean too. You will be find me easy going, friendly. Hi! My name's Queen, I'm Nigerian and I'm 18 (19 in may).I'm a tidy and neat individual who has respect for personal space. I'm currently in my third year at ACU studying Education (Primary)- fulltime. Although I may like to keep to myself at times, I do enjoy the occassional chat and dinner. Not that much of a social butterfly so there's barely any house visits. I do enjoy listening to music though (alot!) I'm a total dog lover so it's not a problem at all if your house is pet friendly! Currently looking for a space in north canberra. My budget is from 150 - 165/week . Bills included preferably.
Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a 2015 psychology graduate currently working full-time in the public service. I'm looking for a place close to the city, or somewhere near a bus stop. I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, digital piano, and a chest freezer. The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed and large desk. I am looking to rent for a period of 6-12+ months, with a fairly flexible move in date. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space! Let me know if you're looking for a housemate and I'd be more than happy to have a chat!
Hello Everyone!! My name is Emily, I'm 25, work as a nurses assistant at Calvary and study full time at CIT in enrolled nursing. I have furniture for my room so preferably an unfurnished room would be ideal. I also have a timber hutch which I would love to bring with me.
Hi There, We are a group of three looking to find a fourth person to share a house with. Two of us, Rachel & Mick, are a couple. Rachel is 29 & is studying & working in the field of Psychology. Mick is 33 & works in Defence. To make things easy, we have another Rachelle, 27, who is an Interior Designer. We are hoping to find a home in the inner north or Gungahlin area. Mick would eventually like to get a dog, so we are looking to find somewhere that is pet friendly. We are hoping to find someone who is a similar age, doesn't mind the occasional housemate hang out & is both clean & respectful. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! 😊

I play a bit of guitar (into headphones!) and otherwise love a good cup of coffee, a bit of political banter, or a drink at the end of the week.
