Hey, i'm Hannah, 29 years old and coming out to Sydney on a working holiday visa. I visited Oz last year and fell in love with it so have decided to come back. I love meeting new people, I am kind and caring (so I have been told) and a bloody good laugh! I am clean and tidy and take pride in where I live. I love hanging out, going for drinks, hitting the beach, going for breakfast and just generally enjoy chilling out with people. Hopefully look forward to meeting some of you guys :)
I'm 28 year old student who is coming back to Australia from Poland after one year. In Poland I work for LOT Polish Airlines as a flight attendant which became my passion. I also love dancing which I enjoy doing during my time off. Flying, helping people, and dancing is something I could do all the time. I find myself very affable that's why I thought I'll give Australia a go again and chase my dreams somewhere else than Poland. In Australia I used to work with EXCEL Building Management- a leading building and facilities management company in Sydney. Excel provides first-class Concierge services. From February I'm gonna work with them again as Concierge. I am respectful of others privacy and possessions and expect the same in return. I am clean and tidy and quiet. I would like to live with other friendly people that I could get along with and hopefully occasionally socialise with.
Hi there, I need to find a private room after coming back from my holiday on 22nd February. I'm in early 30s and working full time in the city. Please inbox me if you have any available room convenient for transport to city. Cheers.
I am a public relations professional who works full time. I am clean and considerate and would like a flat mate who is also fairly tidy. I have a small, very friendly Pomeranian who loves people, is potty trained and obedient.
Hi, I'm Kristen. I'm 28 and work and study in the Natural Health scene. I grew up in Perth and moved to Sydney 3 months ago. Some of the things I love are cooking, nature and animals. I also love natural remedies and currently studying my Naturopath Diploma. I would like to live with someone that is genuinely a positive person that consciously creates a healthy mind, body and lifestyle for themselves. I'm looking for a well kept open place where I can open windows and let the sun shine in. I would like a roommate that enjoys living in a clutter free clean house with smooth vibes and of course has no issues with maintaining the upkeep and cleaning up after themselves as they go along. I like to keep happy & relaxed vibes through the house. I am very respectful and have always cleaned up after myself and contribute to the household duties.
Hello! I'm 26, from Texas, currently on a 457 visa with a full time permanent role as HR Advisor in the city. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I am bringing my dog from Texas in May so you would need to be okay with that :) He is a 5 year old, trained, calm & lazy lab mix. Medium sized. Gets along with all pets, people and children. I am flexible with my move date.. anytime between now and early May.
Hey, I'm Becky. I'm 25 and working in professional services in the city. I play soccer and like staying fit. Looking for a room in a shared house starting mid-January. Thanks.
I've been living in shared accommodation for over eight years now, so I think I have this whole 'share house' thing down pat. I'm also one of eight children, so having grown up in a large family, I'm used to sharing space with others. As a housemate, I'm pretty easy going, I definitely prefer to keep a clean house and am very tidy. I'm courteous of others and I'm always willing to pitch in and help out where needed. I'm a fairly social housemate as well - i.e. I like to get to know the people I live with, rather than being strangers who have the same address. At the same time, I respect other's privacy and need for 'alone time,' and I would expect the same. I'm currently based in Canberra and am relocating to the big smoke in January for work. I've also applied for my Masters, but I won't know about that until early next year. Given that I will be new to the city, I'll be looking for a nice group of people to share with as I try to find my way around the city and make new friends! Please note: I have all my own bedroom furniture, so only looking for properties that have unfurnished rooms available. If you think I'd be a good fit for your house, let me know.
Hi all, My name is Nora, I'm 22 and from Norway. Currently looking for a place to stay long term. I'm studying Public Relations at UNSW, doing my whole degree here in Sydney. So this is my 3rd year in this City. Been living in Bondi for the most of the time, so would love to keep staying in this area. Would describe myself as a down to earth, happy person. Love meeting new people and trying new things. Quite into arts and photography as well! I'm pretty flexible in terms of room-type. Would love to have my own room, but would be happy to share as well. It all depends on what's available. Feel free to contact me if you're in the same situation or if you have a room to offer :-)
Clean, neat, organised, social & considerate. Can cook, pet-friendly.
I'm 28 years old from Thailand. I am working full time from Tuesday to Saturday in Vaucluse. I am easy going, friendly and polite. Love to do an activity and go out on my day off, but prefer to stay with myself after work. As a flatmate, I am very tidy, organized, quiet, and respect my flat mates space and privacy. I am looking for a long-term room from middle of December.
Hello! I currently work as a trainer and in the fashion industry. I've lived all over the world, but been back in Sydney for 2 years now. I'm great to share a space with because I'm clean, considerate, like to have a place feeling like a home always and I love to cook! I love yoga and exercising, and getting to the beach as much as possible when the weather is fine! Look forward to hearing from you!
Just waitin for a mate
Hey guys I'm Saskia. I'm 20 from the UK, working full time as a barista in the city and also studying marketing in the evenings. I'm tidy, respectful, and always pay my bills on time. I'm pretty quiet during the week due to early morning starts, but I'm always happy for a chat over a beer or two. Usually out socialising on the weekends or on the beach. Let me know if I sound like a good fit!
I'm a social, tidy and considerate person works full time. I enjoy great food and love trying new restaurants. I am from New Zealand and have lived in Sydney for almost 3 years.
Hello! Me and my boyfriend are relocating from Moscow to Sydney. And we are very excited about it! We will be happy to share a house or apartment with nice friendly people. As we do not really know anybody there it would be great if we could meet some good friends on the way! As for us, we are friendly, clean and respectful. Cheers!
Looking to move any time around mid Feb 2017. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hi, i'm Alex 29 from England, i would be great to live with because i am quiet polite and respectful. I work full time, working 5 from 7 days a week. i like to go hiking on my days off or just explore this beautiful place.
Hi :) I am a 33 year old Australian female who is respectful of others and their property. I am a professional who works Monday to Friday. I love working. I work as a UX Designer and teach filmmaking at an independent college. I am reliable when it comes to paying rent on time. I am happy to live with females or males. I am flexible with moving dates. I like to live in a clean environment, hence I clean. I like to cook. I like to be able to relax after a busy day at work. I get along with everyone. I am independent, however, sometimes I enjoy the ocasonal glass of wine/beer/coffee/tea with a flatmate, or watch a film with, or go to the beach with a flatmate. I love to stay fit and live a healthy lifestyle. I cycle, swim and run. I like culture, the arts and music. On occasion I'd like to be able to have a friend over for dinner, or enjoy a BBQ on the weekend. But I'm not one to bring 'the big party home'. If you think I am someone that you would like to live with please contact me so that we can meet. I am available to view rooms Sat and Sun. Also throughout the week in the evenings on Mon, Tue, Fri from 6pm. Shannan
Hi, Katie here! I'm a 26 year old young professional working in sales. I relocated to Melbourne a year ago for work & now heading back home to Sydney mid January so I am looking for a new house to call home :) On weekends you will find me at the beach (excited for no more freezing Melbs weather), out with friends for brunch & walks etc. Love the outdoors so will take advantage of my days off as much as possible. I love food & wine so enjoy coming home through the week to the odd glass of wine and roomie chats over dinner, however I am not looking for a party house. I'm a reliable, clean and considerate roommate - Much more to tell, so looking forward to meeting you!
I work full time and generally like to come home and relax after a big day of work. Im extreamly neat and clean and respectful to those who i live with and always look after myself. Im easy going and a nice person to live with. :)
Hey guys, I am Katie,23 and working in the Aviation sector however I'm taking a break as I'm transitioning back to crew however so basically using all my personal leave. I'm always out and about and kept busy. I'm always been described as a friendly, good sense of humour, laid back and respectable person as I never judge a book by its cover. I love to have a chat and a good glass of wine but giving space and privacy. I have my rescue cat, Minty. I adopted her from the RSPCA and she is the most friendliest and affectionate cat. She is litter trained and does not ruin furniture, also kid friendly and loves other animals. I do not smoke or do drugs nor party. I'm clean and tidy- always willing to help out around the house. I also love baking so if you are lucky I will make you muffins. Look forward to hearing from you
I am a fun chatty person who is always open to socialising whether it be with a drink in hand or doing various outdoor activities. While being a very sociable person, I am also a very considerate person who won't shy away from mucking in where household chores are concerned. Being from the north of England, Leeds to be exact, I am naturally up for a laugh and don't take myself too seriously. I am a very active person, who loves to run, gym, jump in the ocean and occasionally find my zen in a yoga studio. If you like the sound of my profile don't hesitate to get in touch & I would be more than happy to answer any of your queries or even better, come and meet you at your home. Look forward to meeting you. Bryony x
Hey, I'm a 30 yo female who recently relocated to Sydney after living and working in London for 8 years and Malta for 1. I lead a pretty chilled life, enjoy a chat but also like my own space. My name is Jorge, i am student from Spain and i just moved here to study and work. I have been living with other people the last 3 year in Madrid so sharing flat is not new for me. A couple looking to find a room somewhere. Our current lease is up on the 5th of March and we would like to move sometime after that (we potentially have somewhere we can stay until we find suitable long term accommodation). Max rent we would like to pay is $320/week total ($160 each per week) but would prefer around $280/week total). We have been house-sharing for a year near Parramatta and are looking to move closer to our university campus (UNSW). Kiegan is working part-time (currently 4 days a week) and Kira is able to choose to work 2 - 6 days a week. Looking to share with someone who is independent and easygoing, with a clean and tidy home. Proximity to public transport would be a plus and we also need a pet friendly house (2 lovely cats). Preferably somewhere that does not get TOO hot (our current flat gets over 40 degrees inside). Unfurnished room is preferred as we have a bedroom set up already, we have a fridge and washing machine we can bring with us or just sell and we also have our own kitchen items (crockery, cutlery, etc). Kiegan studies a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UNSW Art and Design and Kira studies Social Work & Criminology. We have always consistently paid rent on time and have had experience with uncooperative house mates and will not put you through that stress. Please get in touch if you may have something available or any questions.
Returning to Sydney after a year of living off the land out in country NSW... maybe not that extreme, but coming back to the city and starting the search for roof over my head :) I'm pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, can be fairly quiet and focused on either work or study, but if I'm in a bit of an energetic mood it's either out scuba diving or catching up with friends (so not making any big ruckus at home) Can be a decent cook when the mood strikes, enjoy a quiet catch-up amongst friends and have been known to binge on Netflix from time to time. I'm not really locked into looking for anything too specific - I'm pretty open to options, though I do have some ideals/preferences in what I'm looking for: * A self-contained studio/apartment/granny flat - I do enjoy my own space, but maybe wishful thinking * Close to public transport - as long as there is an easy route to get to Central, I don't mind a longer train trip * Close to the water - I tend to dive a lot around Cronulla and Botany, so this is a bit of a nice-to-have * Own bathroom - would definitely be a perk There are only 2 points that a critical for me: * Private room * The ability for friends to visit and hang out - I'm not a party-person, but I have noticed some listings that indicate visitors are not welcome at all - I'd like to be part of a home, not a ward. All that said, I'm pretty open to all possibilities :) I'm interested in a long-term home more than a short-term stay, but I'm open to options.
My name's Shei, I'm moving to Sydney (from Melbourne) on the 5th of Feb. I'm transferring over from Deakin to study Sport and Exercise Science at Usyd. I'm an online shopaholic, little bit of a health nerd and a lover of a good adventure. I'm looking for the kind of flat that's filled with fun, quirky people who love a good chat and want to get to know the people they're living with. A family away from home. I love a good night out but I also really value my downtime, whether that be curled up with a glass of red by tv or smashing out some work in my room. If you think we sound like flatmate OTPs, hit me up :) I'm in Sydney every few weeks, so maybe we can meet up and get to know each other a bit? See if it could work? Shei xx
hi! i am paolo an italian guy! i am working full time to the apollo restaurant in potts point! i am looking for a bed from 14 of january in a quiet and clean house with friendly people.
hello, I'm brazilian, english student, arrived in sydney to weeks ago, and looking for a single roon, prefered near to the beach.
Just arrived from Europe. Lived in London 18 years. Taking a sabbatical in Sydney. Currently working in TV as a producer/journalist. Formerly worked for American TV News Network. Am considerate, kind, well mannered, tidy, clean - and like to keep the flat clean - either taking turns/split the chores and or getting a cleaner. Was considering taking out my own lease but figured it would be a good way of getting to know Sydney by living with people and having flexibility of a 6 month stay... Ideally I had ideas that Sydney would be like Los Angeles - lots of apartments with communal swimming pools and gyms but now realise the homes have a more British heritage to them...! :-)
I am a very easy going and friendly female, currently working full time in Media located in Surry Hills. I'm very clean, tidy and respectful.
