My routine is waking up with the sun and not so many late nights, I cook my own meals and I'm happy to share basics and the odd meal. I work in the wine industry, have an active life and fitness orientated. My second language is Spanish and I am Australian born and very cultured. I am well organised and mindful of others and I take pride in being deep thinking and open hearted. Aside from selling wine I am a writer. I need a space with natural light and own bathroom. I've shared with someone for many years and I'm ready for a change.
I'm a nurse. I will be starting a new job at St George Hospital on 29th October so will be looking to move during the previous week, a little flexible on exact date. Looking for a place ideally situated 10-15 minutes walk from Bondi Junction or Edgecliff stations. A little about me... Im 31, originally ftom England. Moved over amost a year ago permanently. I will be working afternoons/evenings only, no nights! Approx.1-9pm so will generally be out 5 out of 7 evenings a week until about 10pm so if you're a 9-5 worker you will often have the place to yourselves during many evenings. I'm generally out and about on my days off, spending time with friends, outdoors and am generally looking forward to spring and summer by the beach! Company welcome! I'm well house trained, easy going and looking for a quiet, relaxed place to call home with some friendly housemates included! I like my home to be my escape from a busy work life so am definitely not looking for a party house! I like my privacy but like the company too. Occasional meals together might be nice as I love to cook for people and am looking for a friendly home not just a place to stay. Let me know if it sounds like you've got a place to fit what I'm searching for! Thanks! Fiona
Hi, I'm Mel. Background: I just moved back to Sydney after traveling for 7 months and am looking for somewhere to live for a few months temporarily until Christmas at the least (when I go visit family for a few weeks) or April, at the most (when I plan to travel overseas for an extended period again). I'm originally from the US but have lived in the Eastern Suburbs for 10 years. Me as a flatmate: As far as work goes, I'm a high school teacher and will be working most days of the week - I usually leave the house by 7 am and return home anywhere from 4-6pm. In my free time I like to read, sleep, swim, see friends, do the coastal walk/exercise, etc. I can be really friendly and social although I also really value my downtime alone after draining days at work, often prefering to be in my room with door shut :) - I find its hard to predict! As a flatmate I am conscientious of space and noise, and on time with any payments. I really like cooking (but often too tired and order Thai) and playing music. I like a clean house but can totally relate to being tired and just can't be bothered to do the dishes, etc :) What I'm looking for: In a flatmate I guess I would prefer someone similar in age who doesn't live in a party party house, keeps common areas clean/tidy, and isn't bothered by my independent tendancies :) I have a car, so parking is a factor. I'm also looking for a place that is in reasonable proximity to the coast, walkable to at least a cafe and at most, the shops. I'm looking to rent from end of September to either mid-December or April.
We are a couple from Brazil looking to a Private room. We are easygoing and cheerful couple. Wilson is Engineer and Fernanda is teacher is a kindgardem. We love to be with friends and family, so we are always going out to have fun together. We are happy to be in Sydney again because I’ve lived there in 2010 but this time it will be my summer season there.
Hi I am Diego. I am 25 and I come from Spain. I have previously studied sports science and now I have come to Sydney to gain life experience. I looking for a nice place to live with some cool people. I am organized, friendly and energetic person.
Hi there, I'm an international Flight Attendant so the perfect flatmate if you like a bit of your own space or the place to yourself at times. However, I also want to live with someone I can have good chats with when I around. I'm 38 years old but very young at heart! I like to go to the gym or run several days a week. Trying to be more healthy lately but easily corrupted by the suggestion of a glass of wine or three. Have a fairly active social life but do love a night in watching a bit of TV/DVD. Also need to catch up on sleep where I can, so not keen on a party house.
Your regular artsy veggo gal trying to make it in the big city. Moving from out west after getting a job in Randwick, I'm studying journalism and procrastinating by cooking big pots of food that I'll need help finishing, and probably take photos of you on film. The house will probably end up filled with houseplants and some funky framed prints from friends, and there will always be good coffee brewing on the stovetop :)
I´m very organized and clean. Love to cook and eat healthy. Very respectful of other peoples´ sleep and personal space. Passionate about dogs, healthy eating and cooking. Hello! I’m a nurse looking for a lovely place to make my home. I have lived in sharehouses in Sydney for a few years now, only searching for a place because my current housemate is moving in with their partner (😔) I read, I cook, I watch films, I drink red wine, I pat/lurk strangers dogs, and I enjoy being outside as much as possible. I’m friendly, relaxed and clean, and I hope to live with somebody similar. Ideally I would live with a maximum of 2 other people, and have my own bathroom. Also interested in teamups!
Hey there! My name is Guillermo, I'm from Spain and I've just finished my business degree so I thought it was a great plan to move to Australia for at least 6 months with a student visa. Yyou know, getting out of my comfort zone and all that. I have an online business which is my main source of income, however, I'm planning to get a part-time job for at least pay my rent. Regarding me, I could say I'm open-minded, easy going, serene and my lifestyle is quite healthy. Love cooking!
Hi there! My name is Molly and I am on a working holiday visa from Chicago, Illinois in the US. I am looking for a one month stay as I will begin traveling at the end of October. I am a fairly quiet roommate and also very clean and friendly :)
I'm a 25 year old Australian boy, recently back from working in Spain. I'm a full-time working journalist, a reasonably decent cook, and a pretty tidy housemate. I love a bit of banter but am happy to do my own thing as well. I've travelled a fair bit, lived in Mexico for a while, and love to trade yarns. Originally from the countryside, I'm a laid-back individual looking to live with some interesting people. I'm pretty active (I swim, surf, play squash, and give most sports a go), open-minded, and generally don't take myself too seriously despite the glowing report I've just given myself.
My name is Marcela, I just moved from Gold Coast, I am 22y. My husband Nicholas (26y) works full time. I will start my new course in October. So we will be hardly at home. We are easygoing and we are a quiet, clean and tidy couple. Looking for a place clean and quite, but we are open to have some beers, good chat and cooking good food during the weekends!
Work full time as a project manager, Main interests include surfing, climbing, photography, running, cycling, general fitness Relaxed and easy to get along with have been living in the UK for the last four years and returning to Australia in early October Very social, enjoy going out for dinners, drinks with friends on the weekend etc but definitely past the all night party stage
We are both from France and have already lived in Sydney for about 5 months in a 9 flatmates house. We are used to live with many people and we are looking for a respectful and tidy new place to call home. I love cooking and I try to go to the gym and do some running. We both love to go to the beach and especially we love to go camping on the weekends! Cheers guys
Fully house trained professional relocating from Melbourne to Sydney in early November. I’ve been happily sharing with another housemate for the past 3+ years. I’m pretty low key during the week but enjoy getting out and about on the weekends. I like to keep communal areas clean and tidy but my room may or may not end up being more of a floor-drobe. As I’m relocating, I’m perhaps looking for something shorter term to start, with the potential to stay longer if I like the area and housemate :) Lastly, I’m after somewhere to park my car, either off street or a place with available permits.
Easy going, clean, tidy, respectful Master of Architecture student studying at UNSW while currently working part-time for a design and build company doing residential design. I am originally from Perth and moved here in July 2017. I respect everyone's personal space and understand we all have different activities throughout the day. I am always happy to spend time with house mates either it be for a night in watching a movie, cooking dinner or having a drink and playing games. I am also happy to go out during weekend days or most nights if I am available, but also enjoy a few drinks or dinners on the weekends and even during the weekdays if I am around and not too busy. I enjoy exercise/ playing Ultimate Frisbee, walks/ hikes, travel, cooking (as much as I can), photography, reading and soccer. I'm very friendly, so shoot me a message :) PS: Preferred locations are desirable and NOTHING over $300 per week. A long term stay is desirable :).
