Hey fellow home hunters, my name is Tiarne, I'm 22, a full time professional making the move to sunny Brisbane from Sydney in a few weeks (Moving date about 10 August). I'm super easy going gal, I grew up in a tiny little beach town in NSW, so Sydney and I never really gelled. So I'm super excited to move to Brissy and be around chill people again! Nothing too outrageous to report with me, I play guitar, I like to long board when I'm stressed, dont mind a cheeky cider after a long day and TRY to be healthy (I'm hoping Brisbane will help with that). I'm looking for a great home to slot into with easy going and fun housemates who don't mind a chat. I want a home, not a house. Feel free to message me if you think I'd work in your home!
Hi, my name is Nadine and I´m from Austria (the country without kangaroos). I am 24 years old and I gonna be an exchange student in Brisbane next semester. I am looking forward to find new friends in a lovely shared accomodation like yours. I prefer having my own room with an aircon system that can do heating as well. I can be a very communicative and adventurous as well as a quite and regardfull person, especially in the exam period. In my freetime I love to dance, so if you want to learn how to salsa or maybe viennese waltz this would be your chance. :P If you do have any further questions feel free to ask. Looking forward meeting you! Cheers Nadine
Hi, we a professional couple looking at sharing as we have some big money goals for the near future (travel, wedding, moving over seas to live). I (Megan) am currently studying at Qut as well as working part time, Mark works full time in an Engineering firm and is looking at studying his master's next year. We have two cats, they are both very quite and you'll probably never notice they are there. We both enjoy food! But try to keep a healthy life style. We enjoy spending time with friends. Mark enjoys playing video games and I like to watch Netflix' s or read books in the evening. We are both very quite. We own a house full of stuff but are happy to sell it if it is no longer needed.
I'm a chill guy from Norway, working part/full time as a marketing consultant in Brisbane. This is the start of my third year in Brisbane, since 2012, just can't stay away! Looking for a place close to the city centre, south side is a plus Love a few drinks and doing social things, but does also respect others when it comes to respecting "quiet time" and keeping things clean. I'm also a person that loves movies, gym and tavels. Ps. I am most likely in need of a place I can park a motorcycle 8-)
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hi There, I'am Charles, 25 From Paris I'am here with a student visa and studding business. I'am pretty easy to live and always available for a chat. I'am known as clean and ponctual for paid the rent. I do love sport ( Gym addicted ) But also like sometime go for a beere in the city. I can stay in my current flat until the 13 August. Cheers.
Hi! I'm 21 and employed full time, working in the city as an architect. I would say I'm neat, easy-going and reasonably quiet/private, but always up for a chat. I'm into photography, cycling and like to get out of the city and go bushwalking on weekends.
Hi, Professional female just returned from a long holiday looking for a place to call home. Clean and tidy and love to have a good chat but also love to have my own space. I'm a total foodie and love adventuring on the weekends to the coast or exploring Brisbane. Also a bit of a gym junkie :) Would prefer to have my own bathroom but not essential. I don't have any furniture apart from my bed. In saying that the Room must be able to fit a queen sized bed. I do love to travel and would love to go on another long holiday at the end of the year which is why I have put 4 months lease but things are always changing and could be here for longer.
Hi there I'm from Zürich Switzerland, very easy-going mechanical engineering student specializing in robotics and looking for a place to stay while I work on my master's thesis at CSIRO Pullenvale. I enjoy the shared accommodation style of life, have shared flats with friends and fellow students for seven years. After living in Norway for one year as a high school student, I'm now looking for a place to extend my cultural horizon and get to know a new way of living on a different continent. I like to live with active people who enjoy cooking, eating and generally spending time as a group of friends. It seems that my interest in snow sports and enduro/down hill biking will be difficult to satisfy around Brisbane, so I'll have to find new activities to try when I'm there. Guess I should give surfing another go and extend on my kite surfing crash course. I'm interested in anything technical and like to tinker with stuff when time permits.
Young professional, friendly and easy going. Passionate cook, enjoys spending time outdoors and going to music shows. Avid motorcyclist. Respectful of personal space and privacy, also enjoy a chat and drink with house crew. :)
Just the average kiwi guy looking for a place south side of the river with cool housemates and, hopefully, a cool house! 28 and working full time in Carole park I offer a comedic character, house trained and tidy, social and respectful. Looking for much the same really. Lover of good beer and cricket. PlayStation, horror movies and Sunday markets. Gym and running. Fiend for seafood restaurants and casual banter. Not into party flats (sorry, not sorry). Please message me if sounding ideal ☺
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 36 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after spending some time in Sydney and Melbs. I'm originally from Sydney. I have just scored a full time role with Cash Converters in Taringa at the head office. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 36, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. I don't like gay guys that have a crabby/cunty attitude for absolutely no reason either ( trust me, its common in Oz ) lol.
Working Nurse and Student Paramedic with tiny loving dog called Bandit. When I'm not at Work, Uni or hanging with friends or family I like to chill and read or go to the gym. I don't mind a drink or two but not a typical every weekend party going 20 year old. I am just looking around as I get closer to the end of my current lease and my flatmate is moving to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going and am very respectful of others privacy and happy to hang out too.
Hello my name is Kimber-Lee, I am a 26 year old Sales Administrator for Fire and Safety company in Morningside. I work Monday to Friday which makes me very quiet during the week and dealing with customers I usually am in bed early. Weekends I’m usually out doing something with friends or on the flip side binge watching tv. I’m a very clean respectable person when it comes to living with others, if I have an issue I just am the kind of person to talk it out and am open to people correcting me on issues within the house. I hoping for similar people to live with, I do like to have a drink or two on the weekends so if you like wine or beer we will get along just fine. I am hoping for a place that loves dogs as I have a mini dachshund called Milly who is an inside dog and sleeps in my bed (I know crazy!), secured yard is very important. Even better if you already have a dog so mine won’t get lonely during the day. I moved to Brissy from Central Queensland (Cattle country) which means time to time a family member (mainly my brother) comes to visit me, I hope that also can be a possibility or not a problem to whoever I end up moving in with. Looking for a place that is close to the city, air-conditioned room, internet access and best case own bathroom but not a deal breaker if I have to share. If any of this sounds like you please contact me via message on flatmates. No couples please.
Hi Guys I'm Andy , originally from the UK but now have residency here in Australia. Looking for a room to rent in a nice friendly house hold . Ideally with people between the ages of 20-36 , prefer to share with females simply because they keep things clean and tidy and I just get on better with females than men but would be happy in a mixed house as well. I'm 31 yr old single male, I work as a full time mechanic , I go the gym everyday either before work or on my way back from work . I don't smoke or take any form of drugs and I'm not a big drinker on the whole but I do like to let my hair down once in a while. I'm a bubbly , fun character always up for a laugh and will go out of my way to help others. I like to get out and about on my days off either to the beach or a catch up with friends or have a bbq. I'm clean and tidy and respect other peoples privacy and possessions. Happy to cook for other people or help in any way I can I pay on time but have been known to pay early . Looking in Brisbane and surrounding areas . Happy to go in with someone on a new share house/apartment . I don't have any pets , just little old me :) The only things I have to insist on are ,I need my own bathroom and I must have secure undercover parking for one vehicle. would prefer not to share a house with cats as I really don't get on with them but dogs are OK Currently overseas till mid July If you have any questions at all please get in touch :) Andy :)
Holly and I are looking to start a share house! We would be looking for 1 or 2 people to team up. I am undertaking my Masters and PhD (scholarship funded) in Clinical Psychology and Holly is working full-time in film. We are both are out and about on weekdays but would love to come home some nights and enjoy dinner and a wine with our roommates! On the weekends we are pretty social and would like to have roommates that are open to occasionally having friends around. We also like to have quiet weekends in and will always respect each other's privacy. We have both lived in share houses in the past so understand the unspoken rules. We also have lots of furniture between the two of us to help make our space a functional but character-filled home! If you are interested in meeting us over a coffee - please get in touch.
