22 year old flight attendant with a cat best friend. Away majority of the week, would ideally like someone who is able to feed flossy whilst I’m away. Super relaxed and love to have fun, enjoy an occasional wine.
I am going to do an exchange to study English in Brisbane, I am a quiet & calm person, I rarely get angry, I also do not like to bother others with my presence. I'm a student who prefers walking or cycling in the city. I have a degree in International Relations from the University Center of Brasília, I did an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. I can speak more or less well Spanish and Chinese. recently I started to discover myself as transgender, so sometimes I like being a woman, it makes me feel better. When I'm in Australia, I plan to work and enjoy the city. I do not smoke and I do not drink until I'm drunk.
I am quiet, but love to also connect socially. Health conscious - love eating and preparing natural food, enjoy yoga, daily meditation, and nature. I am a shiatsu practitioner part time, and a part time student.

Hi! I'm Connie, a 25-year-old journalist from Chile on her first Working holiday Visa in Australia. I'm pretty easy to get around, love a good laugh and chat but also really enjoy having some alone time. I love cooking, read a good book, pet dogs and sip a Pina Colada while watching horror movies and bloody TV shows (If you loved Sons of Anarchy and Jurassic Park we will be best friends).
Hi it's Natalie, I'M LOOKING FOR A QUITE SMOKE FREE FEMALE ONLY SHARE HOUSE. The rent that I'm able to afford is a maximum of $230 per week. I would like a fully furnished room with my own bathroom please; including all bills for a fully furnished room within close proximity to Brisbane CBD area. I’m a friendly, clean, polite and tidy woman; with several hobbies, like yoga and learning to play guitar, I do tend to spend most of my time outdoors. I like spending time with family, traveling etc. I don't smoke. Cheers Natalie.
Hi, I am a 23 year old female looking for a new home for myself and my cat. I work part-time and study nursing full time (graduating end of this year). I am a very clean and organised person who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and playing video games. I am also a very relaxed person who is accepting of all lifestyles. My cat is named Ravioli and he is a domestic short hair cross Maine Coon. He is a VERY cuddly and loving cat who is constantly purring. He is very lazy and loves his food. His personality is more similar to a dogs as he is friendly to everyone and will follow people around. He is currently an indoor cat but if the surrounding area is safe, I may encourage him to go outside.
I work full time in the city, Monday to Friday so I won’t be in the apartment/house during the day. I’m clean and respectful. I am a super relaxed person and easy to get along with. 🙂 I love to socialise, and i am respectful of privacy but also love to have an occasional chat with a glass of wine after work
I just moved to Brisbane last year from Adelaide and working as a full time process engineer. I love music and I play drums and guitar. I am looking for a house with fun people but also quiet at night. Easy going, happy and tidy. I go surfing, fishing, playing soccer, ping pong, volleyball, computer games (VR)... I am not a bad cook as well. Sometimes I practice with my electronic drums :) Environmentalist, socialist, nonreligious I don't like to lock myself in my room. I like to make good friends and connections.
Hi, I am a teacher, as well as study part time. I am vegetarian and looking for a share house where I can have a pet. I would prefer own bathroom. I am looking for somewhere that has a grassy area or garden. I am fun, warm, friendly, enjoy my down time but also love doing yoga, hiking, weekends away. I try to practise yoga in the mornings so am usually an early riser.
Hi, I'm Karina :) I work full time at the rspca (monday to friday). I'm very tidy and respectful of everyone's space. I have a happy rescue dog Willow who can be unsure of new people at first but once she is comfortable with you she is extremely social! I'm wanting to live with people that would be happy to have her around as a part of the family :). She stays outside when no one is home but is used to being allowed in doors to relax when people are around / sleeps inside with me. I'm either at the beach surfing, adventuring with my dog / friends or relaxing at home. As i do work 8+ hours a day I am looking for a home that has grass/ a yard for willow to relax in. I also go away on weekends sometimes for trips in my van. I'm friendly and easy going, always up for a laugh and a wine/beer. I'm not the greatest cook but am definitely trying to learn :) I need full fencing for willow but she has lived with other dogs so doesn't need to be on her own. Thanks!
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid person, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently doing research in China but will be back in Brissie October 15th. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you!
Well I’m pretty easy going. I like to be active so if Im not indoors im most likely on some outdoor adventure. I love learning and trying to learn Spanish and french, but if your bi lingual in any language I would love to pick your brain. I like to be social and generally get along with most people, so would love to live with a house filled with beautiful energy. I have 2 beautiful pooches. One lil blue stuffy and the other is a sharpie x Labrador would love to have them stay with me occasionally but understand if they cant. If you like to know more about me please give me a msg im pretty much an open book :) Im also looking to move in mid Oct and maybe stay 2-4 months.
Writer. Educator. Currently works full time in the city. Doing postgraduate studies at UQ. I've been living in Brisbane since late 2015. I speak English and Mandarin and trying to learn Spanish in my spare time. Passionate about lots of things - the creative arts, nature, hiking, music, art galleries, museums, good food, cooking, mindfulness, spirituality, human rights, social justice, the beach, etc. ... Too many interests to list. I have my own bedroom furniture and kitchen tools that I would like to bring over to the new place. Apart from that, I own very few earthly possessions. An ideal house to me is one with a minimalist decor and lots of sunlight. I am looking for a clean, relaxed and safe environment to call home. Thank you for reading this. Good vibes only " )
Hello! I am looking to live with people who want to spiritually grow, where I can collaborate with and grow with the people I am living with. A warm nurturing household is what I am looking for. I am looking to live with mostly women, but this doesn't have to be entirely. I would like to live with people I can connect with who are like-minded, and enjoy sharing ideas, but also respect each other's need for privacy. As I am a student, I would ideally be looking at $180/w including bills. I love meeting new people, love communicating and getting to know the people I live with. I enjoy exploring into the wild a lot and am very artistic, musical and interested in emotional expression and wellbeing so I am studying psychology and anthropology as a second degree which I hope to combine with alternative therapies to help people in a holistic way. I have traveled, and love meeting people from all over the world. I am clean, a non-smoker, health conscious, yoga, and a meditation girl. I am looking for a warm mature household where honest communication is high, and we are all willing to have a chat, collaborate and share meals from time to time, but also to respect each others space. :) If I sound like someone you want to live with, please contact me! Thank You! Anna.
Hi, I'm Kirsty, 24 years old and working in the construction industry - full time and long hours! I try to lead a health lifestyle but love indulging in a good bottle of red and lush food which is what weekends are for :)
Dynamic, chilled, gregarious guy who enjoys a bit of quiet time and social time seeks compatible housemates, granny flat, possibly studio. I am a mobile Massage Therapist (Karma Harmony) with clientele throughout Brisbane. I also do Bush Care work Wed-Sat for an NFP Landcare Group in Carindale. Loves and passions: cooking, keeping a tidy kitchen and house, yoga, chat about anything, huge range of music and movies, popcorn, having friends for dinner, permaculture, gardening, composting, recycling, red wine, chocolate, being relaxed and productive. A small garden or area to grow veggies and compost would be lovely. Open to short or long term with right combination. Prefer SE Bris but open to other location for right situation. Not in a rush, looking for right fit and have great references. A pool would be a lovely bonus. Namaste Mike ;-)
I come with a NutriBullet, 2 Apple TVs and a Boston Shaker! I am 25, from the Sunshine Coast originally, have lived in Brisbane full time since February. I am looking for a place somewhere in The Valley, New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, Bowen Hills, or West End. Would like to live with either 1 or 2 other people. I am a bit of a clean freak when it comes to the kitchen and other common area's, so I would like to live with someone who understands this. I work in hotels, so I am a shift worker. I have shifts were I start at 630am, finish at 11pm, or sometimes I have to do the dreaded overnight shift, so I need to live with someone who understands this and is respectful of this. I do keep to myself 90% of the time, some have called me a hermit, however I am happy to sit down and have a glass of wine every now and then.
My name is Jake and I'm interested in finding a spare room sharehouse. A little bit about myself. I'm 29, I work F/T in the city in superannuation and I'm a causal Uber driver. I also like to get outside and be active (gym, running, indoor soccer, etc). I also like going out (or staying in!) for a couple of drinks too. I'm also clean and can cook. Looking to move out from 6th of October. Let me know if you're interested or if you need to know anything else! Cheers
I'm a full-time post-grad cancer researcher with QUT looking for a sharehouse to move into with my sweet cat. I work a lot and have a variety of hobbies so I'm not home very much and when I am, I like to unwind with some Netflix, a cider and board or video games. I love to cook and bake so would be down for some housemate meals now and then. I'm hoping to move in with people I get along and can hang out with but I'm also respectful of privacy and like to have my own down-time. I've lived in share houses for a while and appreciate open & honest communication. I actually enjoy cleaning, it helps me to relax so I would really struggle living with someone who was messy. Ideally I'm looking for a long term home and to sign a lease. I have an entire kitchen worth of utensils & cookware plus a microwave and a clothes dryer. Plus everything needed for a bedroom. My cat Pepperoni is a senior girl who loves to snuggle and be around people but can be shy at first. She gets along great with other animals if they're also laid-back and are happy to give her space if she needs it. She's non-destructive (have rented with her for over 5 years and always get my bond back) and I clean up after her religiously - I'd never want her to be a burden on anyone else!
I'm generally quiet but enjoy music & movies and an occasional drink. I am out many evenings and weekends so home is my sanctuary. I keep communal areas tidy and clean up after myself. I'm pretty laid back, but I also like my privacy... I'm introvert unless I'm really not... Sounds like a contradiction but a lot of that's down to social dancing and how that's trained a part of me to enjoy more outgoing pursuits... I really don't have the energy for true extroverts though. (That includes people who surround themselves with drama!) I'm respectful, but adulting is hard... It's much more fun having few responsibilities... Having said that though, I pay all my bills /rent and shit before it's overdue and you do too: I've got no time to be dicked around by people who make excuses. If you've read this far and you think we could make a happy team I'll also let you know I'm free to move earlier or later... I'm not currently bound by a lease agreement... I could move tomorrow or not until next year... It all rides on the right place and like minded people. So drop me a line!
We are a friendly and easy going couple from Sweden, relocating to Brisbane in the beginning of October, as one of us (Sara) is starting a full time position at University of Queensland. We are looking for a place to share with friendly people and a homey atmosphere. As we enjoy cooking, a proper kitchen is a must. Other than cooking (and eating!) we both like to play board games, read a book or just hang out. Sara is also big on anything craft related, such as knitting, sewing and weaving, and we are both really looking forward to living in a city with a climbing gym again! Sara will be working full time from the start and Sebastian will be looking for work, but we have no issues paying rent on Saras salary so no worries about that. We have shared apartments before, both renting and being the landlords, and can give references if needed. None of us smoke or parties other than the odd beer. We don't have any pets, but we do love them! We used to have a cat, and have shared house with a dog (and his owner..). As we have lived in Brisbane before, we know that west end is the place we want to be, so if you have a room available in the area, don't hesitate to drop us a line!
