I'm a nice person to live with, or so I've been told! I'll be working at UQ for 4 months and starting a PhD on January 2018. Looking for a place to stay and find friends! Hope we can have great moments together! PS: I won't have an Australian number until at least August 26th, so it would be better if you message me

I am a Happy Healthy Hippy chick originally from central NSW. Im vegan and health-conscious but not a Nazi about anyone elses diet (You do you, boo). About to commence my clinical counselling placement with an amazing organisation in Stones corner. So I guess somewhere relaxed and quiet-ish and even in that area would be great. I am a member of the LGBTI community and would ideally like to live with the same or people who are supportive and ok with who I am. Also currently completing my postgrad in Psychology. About to start my clinical placement. So a quiet place would be ideal. I am a reliable, tidy, outgoing and positive peep. my "partying" days are extinct but still head out now and again. Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? As mentioned, I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom but am aware thats not always possible ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive and can be upsized if something is amazing. Please no dodgy boarding houses masquerading as share places ... and please no 3 am messages. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples, single straight males, or a shared room ... I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room or ppl contacting me with hevily overpriced rooms. Im not really looking to subsidize your rent and its so unethical to position yourself that way. i guess if im interested i will get in contact. thanks! I also dont post my face online as I often attract creepy weirdos ... Sad right?
Hello potential housemates After living in sunny Cairns I'm looking to live in Brissy. Big city life is calling! I work full time in digital marketing / social media and travel a fair bit. I love to cook and I clean up after myself too which is a bonus. Totally known for my Thai food. I like to pay rent well in advance, normally a month or two ahead. I'm looking for somewhere to live that ideally has - has aircon - modern look / furniture - easy going environment - similar age group - views of the city would be a bonus - a space for my small car. Sometimes I'm away for up to two weeks at a time for work and needs somewhere safe. Moving date is flexible. I'm travelling a fair bit in Aug. Have a few days in Brissy here and there so I can always pop in and meet you :-) I had sorted somewhere but it's fallen through so please only reach out if you know that the other person is 100% moving out. Also - I have a lot of clothes....it comes with my work so would love a decent wardrobe or storage. If you have pets I'm always happy to look after them. I do a bit of work with the Rspca so an animal lover

Jessica is a full time nany, and I work as a chippie in civil construction full time as well. We are both pretty busy and quiet during the week, but we love to let loose and have fun on the week ends. We are really laid back and sociable, respectfull to other and clean. Let us know if you want to meet 😊 Thank you
Hello there! I'm Karmen, a 25 year old Student/Interior Designer and I need a place to live. I'm a tidy, relaxed, down to earth individual who keeps it pretty chill during the week, and enjoys socialising on the weekends, going to gigs, markets, exhibitions and other events. I tend to not take myself or life too seriously, have a terribly bad sense of humour and appreciate everything from puns to dark humour. I'm looking for a home with good vibes and like-minded individuals who enjoy being social but also give each other space when needed. Can you house me?! :)
I'm from Barcelona and I just finished my bachelor's degree in International Business Economics. I've been living in shared flats/houses since I started it, in Barcelona as well as in The Netherlands. I'm now used to share a flat with people of various ages, gender and nationalities. I love to travel, meet people, learn languages, eating sushi... and also a good party from time to time ;) I will be studying part time and working part time, so I might not spend that much time home! But I like having a balance between my alone time (I'm also a big fan of watching series) and spending time with my flatmates, which is a unique experience every time! :)
I am a PhD student from Switzerland looking for a place to stay for at least 6 months. My full-time studies as well as a casual employment as a tutor keep me busy during the week. My home is my sanctuary where I can be at peace and recover from a busy day at work, and thus I like to keep it clean and tidy. Although I am rather introverted I do enjoy the occasional chat with my roommates, watching a movie or going out on weekends. Live and let live is my philosophy. Also, I am a very active person who loves things like SCUBA diving, hiking, and cycling. Therefore, an outside area where I can hang a wetsuit and a place to park my bike would be a plus. Please let me know if this sounds compatible with you and if you have a place for me to stay. I look forward to hearing from you!
I just graduated from a Early Childhood Education institute, and full time working in a childcare center. My boyfriend is a student, who will graduate in the end of the year. We are looking for a room not too far from city. We and tidy and not party people.
I'm vikki, 29, English I work in the city full time 5:30am -5pm In the week I like to gym or chill, weekends I like to fly free, I like a drink but not a party animal, not anymore anyway!!! I can be really sociable but also love my own space, I prefer to share with someone of a simalar lifestyle, ideally being as close to a bus or train station would be great, to make my morning commute less painful, I'm a smoker but I'm a polite smoker and very respectful ☺️
I am looking to share a flat/house with people that socialise in the communal spaces. I work mostly evenings with some days off and also volunteer doing conservation work in nature reserves. I love being outdoors and am an outgoing sociable person, though I also appreciate my own space. I'm very clean and tidy with consideration for other so no worries there. I'm looking for a room when I return from travelling the east coast, so from the start of October to just before Christmas.
Hey my names Dharma, i am 18 years old. I graduated last year and plan on studying at UQ next year. I am a fun, outgoing person who will get along with anyone easily. I am clean, tidy and respectable. I like to sit down socialise with friends, read a book and occasionally have a glass of wine. I'm trustworthy and reliable and carry a positive attitude towards everything. I like to keep active and am always ready to try new things! I'm wanting to move out within the next week (before the 24th of August).
I'm from China, a full-time Phd student studying digital media, with a specific topic of dating apps. I'm quite easy going and caring, never had an issue with my flatmates in the last year living in Australia. I like cooking, tennis, and gym. In the weekend I also enjoy hanging out in the market and having a drink with friends in the bar. I have a car so I hope I can use one garage. If you think we are like minded people please let me know. I'm quiet and respectful. Meanwhile, I am sociable and love to cook and share my food. Hope we can be good friends, not just the one with whom you share a house
Hey! I'm French but currently studying in England and am coming to the University of Queensland for a year on exchange, where I will be contributing to a research project in Neuroscience. I have lived in five different countries, and love travelling yet have never been to Australia so am very excited to explore the city and its surroundings. I am very sociable and outgoing, love meeting new people and hope to make the most out of Brisbane! As I have been sharing flats/rooms for several years now, I do however know how to stay clean and respectful. I am hoping to find a place near central Brisbane with good connections to the St Lucia campus.
