I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and won't be there that much as I am from the Gold Coast so always down there of a weekend seeing family and friends. I am fun, outgoing and social. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. I prefer a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe.
Hi, I'm Samuel. I'm a tradie about to start studying. I'm looking for a clean and quiet place, all of the usual things! The length of stay is flexible. I need a place until at least mid-December, a longer lease (6-12 months) would be great too. About me; I am easy-going, prudent and conscientious. In no particular order, I enjoy a vino while cooking dinner, any sport, a good book, a well-researched documentary, GOT and a few other things we can talk about if that's not enough.
Hey all, We’re looking for a 4th house member to turn this trio into a quartet...?? We’re all recent graduates and are looking at moving to a property in Paddington or any other inner city suburb as our current lease is ending end of December. We all love to hang out together e.g. get food, go to gigs and festivals and would love to find a housemate that loves doing what we do. We also enjoy down time and personal space (essential). If you’re a young and chill full-time worker/student this will be the perfect place for you. The max each person would be paying pw would be $180. If you think we’d get along flick us a message on here (or insta: ayayronsmithy) and we’ll meet for coffee 🤗
Madeline and I are two old friends looking for a place for next year, or 1-2 people to start a new sharehouse with! I'm moving to Brisbane for work at the end of the year and Madeline is studying at UQ and has been a local for a few years now. We are both easy going, respectful people and we believe in keeping a tidy home for everyone to enjoy. We appreciate a balance of having our own space and getting to know the people we live with! While we both try to keep up some resemblance of a social life, we are honestly more likely to be found unwinding on the couch at home these days than out at a club (although that happens occasionally). When we aren't at work/uni we might be hiking, at the beach, or watching Netflix and eating too much cheese. We are fun and friendly people and if you'd like to know more about us or what we're looking for please send a message!
I am vietnamese postgraduated student at Griffith University and have 5 year old daughter. We are finding a room at a tidy and clean house where is close to any primary school (walking). If you have any suitable room for us, please kindly text me. Thanks in advance.
Hi! I'm Regina and studying health science at Endeavour college and looking for a place more close to the city. I'm planning to move sometime between mid-December or early January. I'm into health and nutrition and I like to go to the gym, occasionally hike, yoga and read. To live with I'm considerate, respectful, like open communication and fairness with cleaning. I can be a bit quiet at first until I'm settled in and I value my own time and personal space but would love to have drinks together and go out on weekends if we're similar. I'd prefer living with people close to my age and also have off-street parking. Regina :)
I'm a 21-year-old game design student who works part-time as an engineering technical officer. In my spare time, I like to draw digitally and write novels. I'm quite, tidy and mind my own business. I don't mind having a chat with other people and get-togethers held don't really bother me. Push comes to shove, I have headphones and can happily sit in my room and pretend I don't exist -- Harry Potter reference. Either way, I'm open to friendly households and all kinds of pets! *Note: I did just chuck in the move date because it required me too, but I'm flexible on the dates. I just have to work out a transition period with my job for my transfer then it should be all set!
I'm currently a university student studying psychology and political science. I cook pretty often (I try to clean up as soon as I can) and I always enjoy a good movie. I prefer my room doors open whenever I'm not busy so I'm always keen for a chat.
I am a 22 year old Norwegian exchange student. Australia is so far away from Norway so it would be great to have a place to live/ know some possible places to look before I jump on the plane in February. I am studying psychology and on my free time here in Bergen I usually have gymnastics practice or hang out with my friends. I participated in europeans this fall, but next semester I am planning to take a break from gymnastics and see what activities Brisbane and UQ has to offer. I am a sosial girl who loves to get to know new people, but at the same time I understand the needs for privacy or alone time. I am also very organized (advantage from being an athlete) and tidy.
I usually work 6 days a week and on my day off I love to relax by the pool or at the beach with a nice cool beverage. I have a 15 year old cat who likes to spend his days lounging around in the sun.
Hello potential housemates. I have been share housing for over a decade so I am familiar with the ins/outs of sharing a space and I consider myself to be clean, organised and respectful. I work full time as a GPR technician and when not adulting I am busy working on personal projects or keeping active. My extra curricular activities include climbing, camping, chillin, exploring the East Coast, reading, fitness, researching and mind/body health. I would consider myself an Ambivert, I am social but also enjoy my downtime so I am pretty quiet during the week. Looking for a relaxed atmosphere to call home :) Thanks for reading and I hope to see you soon.
Hi, I'm an easy going older guy looking to find a place to work from during the week. I'll be heading back home to family (Wife & 2 teenage kids) in Northern NSW for most weekends. More inclined to go to the gym than to go out drinking but do like live music / listen to Triple J. Hoping to find a place I can work online / watch some Netflix and chill.
We are 2 girls, Kiah (22) & Mollie (22) looking for two like minded female housemates to join us in our lovely home in Coorparoo/Norman Park. We both study graphic design, work part time and are quite social but enjoy our own time. We are looking for people who are considerate and chilled out but also enjoy hanging out together! We love plants, gigs, op shopping, anything creative and having a few drinks together! Need people who take initiative in doing household chores! We also have a cat called Lenni who's very friendly :-) Our home is a beautiful old queenslander with a verandah and back deck! Fully fenced with plenty of parking and close to everything! (Shops etc). Lovely white walls and timber floors, dishwasher, air con, fans, huge yard + mango tree, veggie patch and heaps of natural light! It’s filled with groovy furniture and an abundance of plants!! There are two rooms currently available - the main bedroom (3.6m x 4m) with a built in robe and 2 large windows & a slightly smaller room (3.6 x 3m) with one large window but without a robe (plenty of room for hanging racks or drawers though)
Hey there! I’ll be relocating to Brisbane on the 14th of December and am looking for a home where we all respect each other’s privacy but the option to be great friends are there. Looking for a place with a great vibe and air conditioned 😂 My boyfriend will be visiting me regularly and would love a home where that’s respected and I give that in return. I work in early childhood, have yet to lock down a new job (it’s fairly easy in this industry) so I’m not picky about location as long as it’s close to public transport!
I'm moving up to Brisbane from Newcastle for a job at the University of Queensland, and I'm looking for accommodation. I'm looking for a short term stay while I look for my own place, but would be open to staying longer too. It's a full-time job and I'm new to Brisbane so I'll be wanting to get out on weekends to explore the city. I'm a huge bookworm and a bit of a musical theatre geek, but I also love training at the gym, a casual drink and I'm always up for a chat. I'm tidy, easy-going, and respectful of people's space and am always happy to help out.
On a 1 year visa, im a working professional from London. Easy going and just enjoy being out and about. I have friends from university over here so mostly spend time with them- love sports, outdoor activities, cooking and socialising.
Jacinta and I are planning to move closer to the city for full-time work and for me to be closer to uni. We are easy to live with, always down for a games night and will slaughter you in karaoke. But wait there’s more! I’ll take you indoor rock-climbing and Jacinta can make you a coffee frappe!
hey! my name is amelia, i'm a 19 year old girl who just finished my first year studying environmental management at UQ. I'm originally from melbourne but lived in cairns for two years before moving to brisbane to study :)) i'm currently living in a sharehouse which is reaching its expiry date but am flexible with when i move out (between now and feb)! I would like to be staying for at least 6 months, but preferably 12 months or more. i've been described as a really happy & outgoing person and can get along with pretty much anyone! some loves of mine: animals, music (of many different genres), singing (will try to keep it to a minimum!!), having a laff or a chat, funky socks, reading, writing, sniffing flowers, sipping on tea (or chugging when it goes cold), going for a run sometimes or the odd night out. if i sound like your kinda gal and you'd like to meet up to see how we get along, hit me up!!
