Hello. I'm a graduate nurse starting work in the Western suburbs. I am pretty quiet, mostly keep to myself, but happy to have a chat. I am a non-smoker, enjoy a couple of drinks, enjoy movies especially horror, tv shows, games, love cooking and would happily share food. I will be new to the area so I might spend days off out and about. Prefer furnished room but also okay with not furnished. Also, ideally close to any of the stations on the Sunbury line, preferably between Sunshine and Footscray as I will rely heavily on public transport. *I am only able to move in first week of April. Thank you.*
Hi, I'm a quiet, respectful seasoned house-sharer. Well traveled, with an arts background (VCA) currently doing a PhD. I like to socialize mostly outside of the house and keep home a chill place. I enjoy meeting friends at the pub, checking out op shops and art galleries. Looking to share with someone who has their own things going on, but is open to a chat when we cross paths. The occasional shared dinner would be nice also if schedules permit.
I moved from Daylesford to a temporary apartment, and I'm looking for a place to stay long-term. I'm a hardworking student and I'm friendly and respectful. I like making art and music, exercise, going to the pub, reading and studying.
Things I like to do: - Watch movies on Netflix - Play videogames - Meet new people - Learn from different cultures - Learn new languages Things I'm not: - Noisy - Drinker - Messy - Selfish Things I am or I can do: - Spanish Teacher - Friendly - Tidy - Help cleaning - Help with techy stuff - Good English
I'm a 3rd Year Nursing Student with Culinary background. I work as a PCA/AIN, mostly nightshifts. I like to keep my room clean and when I'm not working I usually just stay in my room to study. I go to a lot of music festivals too so if you like trance/hardstyle we'll definitely get along! :) I'm an international student and my parents are paying for my uni, I have no problem paying rent and bills when its due :) Overall, I'm a pretty chill person/housemate.
Hi! My name is Maria Rosa I have just moved to Melbourne after living for 3 1/2 years in the outback in Alice Springs and surrounding communities. I'm originally from Venezuela but have lived between Australia and Venezuela for several years. I have lived in house shares and I am pretty easy going, friendly and respectful, and good with sharing house chores and cleaning. Right now I am staying temporarily at a friend's house in Seddon. I really love this area and would like to stay here in the inner west. I am a Youth Worker and Antropologist, and used to work in media. I have travelled quite a bit and love hearing peoples stories. I consider myself a cat person but love dogs too, and if you have one I'd love to take it for walks to the park (it makes exercise much more fun). My current hobbie is photography, and my unfulfilled hobbie is learning how to play the guitar
Hi! I'm Cyndal, I'm a 28 year old health professional working full time in Geelong. I've lived in Geelong for a year and am looking to make a move to Melbourne to expand my social horizons. I'm planning on commuting to Geelong daily. Housemate-wise I'm responsible, clean, tidy, and keen to create a homey and relaxed environment. I'm introverted, but social, love to get to know new people, and try not to take life too seriously. I enjoy some time to myself, but generally enjoy having a chat over a drink in the evening and sharing the occasional meal. I'm omnivorous but make and enjoy vegetarian and vegan foods too. I love cooking (and eating!), walking, being outdoors, and ideally combining all of my favourite things at once (hiking picnic anyone?)! Also partial to movie nights and Netflix binges. I'm active in the Melbourne roller derby community and train with the Westside Derby Dollz in Footscray. I come with an 8 year old short haired desexed/microchipped ginger tabby cat (Manny), who is very friendly and loves being around people. He is playful but well behaved and does not bite or scratch ever. He prefers the company of people to other animals, but he has lived well with other dogs and cats in the past. I am a very responsible pet owner and am very considerate of the needs of others I live with, hence I vacuum regularly and empty Manny's litter tray when it is used. Manny is both an indoor/outdoor cat, although I prefer that he is kept in an enclosed area (shed/garage/laundry) at night. I'm looking for a place to share with one to two other people. I have minimal furniture (bedroom only) and would be open to teaming up to purchase whitegoods etc. if needed. I would prefer LGBTIQA+ friendly housemates who are looking to create a homey environment and potentially be open to sharing a meal or a drink in the evening once in a while. Or, you know, that hiking picnic. Hope to hear from you soon!
*Can get access to a 2br apartment in Footscray pretty quickly. Has a pooland gym downstairs too!* A chilled 26 yo barista. Looking to start a share house or find a room to move into. Pretty chilled and easy going. Enjoy having stimulating chats abouts anything and everything. Enjoy a nice glass of red or a beer now and then with friends. Happy to have 'family dinners together. I respect other people space and enjoy having me time as well. I can pretty much stock a new house with some couches etc so you'll just need to bring your bed and shizz.
Hi :) We are looking around Footscray and the surrounding suburbs, primarily interested in finding people to apply for and set up a house with, but also open to existing places. Would ideally like to live in a place that is friendly, maintains tidy communal spaces and is LGBT+ friendly. Interest in the arts is a bonus! Quincy is 23 years old, in addition to being a student, they are the host/creator of a podcast, and work with different arts, lifestyle and food publications. They are an incredibly warm + friendly person, and though it could just be the chime of their Californian accent, I think they're quite funny too. I am 22 years old (they/them), spend my mornings working at a local pool, and my afternoons working on music (just through v basic monitors, noise isn't ever too loud). Other than that I spend a lot of time with friends, as well as reading and obsessing over certain albums. Also always happy to set up my projector in the lounge and have a lil film night!
Hi, my name is Saskia and I'm looking to move down to Melbourne from the country during my gap year. I work in libraries part time, and am doing a film course at VCA. I'm looking for somewhere in the Western suburbs since it's where I grew up and I know them, and it's on the train line to visit my friends in the country. I'm very easy going, pretty social (but I'm somewhat introverted and need some down time), friendly, cheerful, clean and a great cook, but not a party animal. I love films, film making, off-beat tv shows, music (playing and listening), reading, exploring and cooking (and eating). Would love to share a house with people who are also pretty ambiverted socially, and who share my "let it be" attitude to life.
Hi! my name is Kim Cynthia, I'm a 19 yo French student currently enrolled at Melbourne Uni. I study environmental science so yay to reducing energy bills! I may be young but I'm very independent. On weekends I like to either swim/go to the beach or grab some snacks and watch a movie at home, maybe both. I'm laid-back but organized, easy-going and friendly but respectful of everyone's privacy and very open-minded. I like to think that makes me pretty easy to live with :)
I'm moving from Darwin to Melbourne on the 27th of March. (I'm happy to pay rent until I arrive) I'll be working full-time managing a store and doing some studying on top of that, I'm moving to focus on my career and experience a whole new place. I'm looking for people who are willing to open up their home to me. I'm respectful, tidy and overall easy to get along with. I respect other people's privacy and I like to have my own privacy but I enjoy a few bevvies and a boogie too! But I wouldn't consider myself a party animal. I would prefer to live with people around the same age group and are easy to get along with. I currently don't have a car so somewhere that's close to public transport is very important for me! Preferred location is Footscray or Melbourne City. I'm looking to stay somewhere permanently until I can afford my own home. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
I'm moving out to get more serious about my work as well as to get closer to my University. I'm really hoping to find a safe wholesome space with some good people. About me: - studying conservation and land management - love music, art, reading, cooking (vegan food), gardening and animals. - super organised and great with my money - very clean - I'm super chill and happy! Really easy going, happy to have a few with my housemates or cook dinner now and then.
