Hey! My name is Emma and I have just graduated from nursing. I will be starting a full time job in January at St Vincent's Hospital in Fitzroy. I am hoping to be within 20 mins of the city via public transport as I will likely be commuting to work. I love to have a chat and a wine however also enjoy time to myself. Enjoy cooking, reading old crime novels and puzzles but also a Netflix Addict and love to explore the city in my free time!
I’m a laid-back 26 year from England on a WHV currently working in a Bank. Love playing and watching sports (mainly football and basketball). During the week I’m pretty chilled generally going gym after work but usually out for beers come the weekend. Keen to hang out with my housemates but also happy in my own space. I’ll be staying in Melbourne until March next year so ideally looking for somewhere until then.
Hi there, I'm looking for a basic furnished room with a bed for 6 months from 27/01/2018, preference is to have my own ensuite / bathroom however this is flexible. I'm easy going and tidy to live with. I enjoy my own space but love to share chats, meals, movies and such. I'll be working full time in the city Monday to Friday. Love to cook an occasional shared meal and will help with household chores. Let me know if you have a suitable room and I'll be in touch. p.s. I'll be in Melbourne from 11/01 for inspections and meet 'n' greets.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I currently live in student accommodation in Footscray but am originally from Newcastle, NSW. I am studying education and work overnights usually 3-5 nights a week including some weekends. I enjoy writing, reading, cooking, playing my game cube and playing hockey and spend the majority of my time doing any of these. As a housemate, I tend to keep to myself however also enjoy the company of those I've lived with and appreciate occasionally having dinner together and playing card games/board games, a few drinks, watching tv etc.
Hi, I'm looking to move out of where I am into an existing sharehouse (3 or 4 bedroom) Ideally, I would love to remain in the West Footscray area but I'm open to all locations right now. My only real requirement is that I'm near a supermarket, a train station and / or a bus line. About Me I'm in my late 30's and am financially secure. Best phrases to describe me would be computer nerd, tea drinker, worm farmer / composter, a believer in social justice and a cat lover (I have one that would be coming with me). I also come with some house furniture if needed such as a big tv, a freezer and couches but open to getting rid of these if needed. I'm looking to move in the next few weeks if possible If you think we would be a good match, please PM me. Thanks
I'm a 19-year-old university student who also works part time at a news room. I'm looking to shorten the commute to work and university so ideally I'd like to live no more than 20 minutes out of the city and close to public transport. Feel free to message if you're looking for a tidy and easy-going girl to fill a spare room!
I’m a fun, clean and loveable person. I LOVE the beach, I love summer (except when your thighs rub against eachother resulting in major heat rash)😂 I work a lot so most times when I come home I just cook and then sleep hahaha but I still somehow manage to maintain somewhat of a social life. I don’t get hectic wasted. But if you do, I will look after you! Haha I have a girlfriend who I adore (and so does everyone who meets her.. she sometimes sleeps over. But she works nights so you probably won’t see much of her... That’s about all for now xoxo
Hi There, I am an easy and fun loving individual who enjoys a quiet stay with anyone. I can bring many skills to the household and would make a fantastic flatmate for everyone and anyone interested. Conversation is never dull when I am around, but when it isn't required I am just as good at reading a good book or enjoying 'my time" with a book and a cup of tea. I will no doubt always pull my weight when there is a task that needs to be done. I love to help whether it is in a group of people or just myself. Cooking is my forte and all cleaning skills are exceptional, but everyone has a weak point and mine is in the ironing...doh!! It will not be long before I become part of the furniture and you will not be disappointed in the skills that I can bring to your home. I am looking at becoming part of a home as I have been a long time leaseholder who is needing a change. Look forward to hearing from you all soon and meeting you all for a good chat in person. Thankyou for considering me and speak with you soon. Cheers Michelle :)
I'm a newly music composition graduate, working as a part time music teacher and barista. I love fitness, photography and creating/producing music. Pretty social girl, don’t mind the occasional hang out but at the same time I am a very independent person. Super neat and clean up after my mess.
Originally from the country but have lived in Melbourne for the best part of 15 years. Carpenter so am rarely home during the day. Enjoy the usual things socialising, watching tv, catching up with friends, good coffee, cooking etc. Extremely easy going and easy to get along with. Occasional smoker but never inside.
I work as a scientist in Laverton and like all things scientific, playing a bit of blues guitar, snow boarding, card tricks, festivals, kick boxing and watching TV shows / films. Im clean and tidy, enjoying hanging out as well as some of my own time. Looking for some housemates that would become mates too.
Easy to get along with, very accepting of all walks of life, love to socialise, but like my own space too - would love to find a housemate to drink wine and watch netflix with!
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I am currently studying and working 2 jobs in hospitality, mainly in Yarraville so I would like to be close to work. I am not home too much but when I am i enjoy to have a chat and be social along with having alone time. I am really easy going, not a high maintenance person at all. I enjoy to be social and have a few drinks but still just finding my way in Melbourne and meeting new people. Was originally from a bit of a country town. Excited to meet a potential roomie :)
My lease is about to end so im looking for a new room. I'm very clean, reliable and respectful. I work and study a lot so im not home too often, but im still up for for having a chat with my housemates.
Hi guys, My name is Addie. I'm looking for a room/unit/ or bungalow. I'm willing to negotiate price but for $150 a week is what I can afford until I start working full time. I am a day and night club deejay so I work on the weekends mostly. When I'm home I'm either eating, watching movies or TV or setting me a new mix on my deck! If you've ever liked the sound of deejaying then I could always teach you! I love my beers and wine when I need to wind down and just chill I don't mind going out as long as its planned apart from that. I'm a quite when need to be kind of person, almost keeping to myself. I have less friends than I should but it works out for me.
Hi! I'm a smoothie maker, chai drinker and yoga newbie. I'm vegetarian, love animals and always up for a chat, a night out or a good old Netflix session. I juggle between working in private health and running my own business. I've lived in sharehouses here and abroad, and did a bit of travelling last year ✈ I'd love to find a place to call home, where good vibes and zen spaces mix together✌ Looking for a place for 4-6 months, and maybe longer! Get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit!
Hi there! I'm a 20 year old girl from Italy and I'm looking for a share house in Melbourne, ideally, not too far from the city and close to public transport. About me: I've been living in Australia for about a year, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I'm usually more comfortable with people older than me. I love socializing out and at home, but also like my own space and respect others' privacy. I work as a nanny/live out au pair in Footscray, but my real passion is cooking and I'd like to start working back in a kitchen soon. In my time off, I like reading, meeting friends for coffee, and movies. I would be more than happy to have a chat if you would be interested. Please note, I'm looking for someone or people to share with, not just a room to rent. Ideally, I'd like a situation where flatmates have a chat together now and then, share a glass of wine or watch a movie together. Hope to hear from you soon. kind regards, Valeria
