I’m 25, quiet, respectful, enjoy cleaning and if I’m not working I’m out with friends, on walks or in bed catching up on sleep. I’m looking for a new place to live however I do have a eyelash extension business I run from home after hours from 5:30pm (a few nights a week) and some weekends. Due to this I require a quiet space or small study for my clients - if you think you can provide this please give me a hola! Other then that I work full time for the Departmenf of the House of Representatives as well as on the door at night clubs in the city most weekends. Monique 😊
Hi, I’m Claire! I’m a 20 year old female looking for a sharehouse to rent in Canberra, ideally around Woden/City/Weston. Super chilled and easy going. I’ll mostly just be working or hanging out at friends houses, but when I’m around I’ll probably just be cooking food or watching Netflix! I’m clean and tidy, and don’t make much noise. Accepting of smokers
I am a student, and I am looking for a share house so I can move out of my parent's house. I've lived in Japan for a year, and I love to travel. I love animals and enjoy going out with friends. I spend a fair amount of my time balancing social and study interests. I am hoping to attend ANU next year and study International Security Studies and Languages.
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC reading comics, game of thrones, depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me.
Hi! I'm Adam. I work full time as an animator for a small digital advertising company. I'm very laid back and like to keep things tidy, I mostly keep to myself but I'm always down to socialise! I've lived in a share house for the past 5-ish years so I'm used to pulling my own weight, I'm just keen to upgrade to a bigger place that can offer a bit more privacy and space (as well as a proper sized kitchen!). I have no pets but I miss having pets around so if you've got any that's a bonus as far as I'm concerned. :) And, although it's not a requirement, if you've got a place where I could consider getting a pet of my own that would be amazing. I'm also not keen on moving around a lot so ideally I'm looking for a long-term arrangement, somewhere I can call home. Aiming to stay on the south side of the ACT as my office is there and the stage 2 plans for the light rail taking up a couple of lanes on Commonwealth Avenue bridge and making traffic horrendous sounds terrifying, so I'd rather not deal with that!
I am a public servant relocating from QLD to Canberra for work. I am clean and considerate. I enjoy my alone time, but I am also sociable and look forward to getting to know my flat mates. I love animals, especially dogs. I’m vegetarian but have no objection to living with non-vegetarians, as I believe this is a personal choice. I enjoy a few drinks, but not too many as I like to make the most of the day and get outdoors bushwalking, jogging and doing yoga.
I’m easy going, honest, friendly, clean, tidy, considerate, pay my bills on time & are hardly home between work, my two horses, and trying to spend time with family & friends! When I am home I enjoy a peaceful and relatively quiet environment where I can wind-down, some times with a glass of red or a beer, but I am not a big drinker and have no interest in living with people who are partial to drugs. Love animals, so if you have pets, that’s a bonus :-)
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and although we just moved back - our parents are selling up our free digs, so we are looking for somewhere to live! Claire has been renting/share-housing (on & off) since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. We are boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna bed times. Claire does all the normal human things - talks, exercises out of necessity rather than enjoyment, watches TV, likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker extradordiare, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and claiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri-Sunday night) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband & Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we will spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with him visiting. We have some furniture so happy to share with the group, or start a house share. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra. Looking to move most likely late July to early August. Preferably we’d like you to love dogs and Chilli hates the outdoors, so you'd need to be okay with him inside. There is the possibility for Chilli to renounce the spoiled only child life to live with his dad & fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant and Clark Kent look-alike; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.

I've just returned from living overseas and have started full time employment in Canberra. I'm well traveled and easy to get along with. I spend my weekends away, am really Just looking for relaxed housemates.
Well I'm a chef and enjoy Friday nights having a few drinks and cooking a bunch of food. I have been playing bass guitar for 13 years and no intention to stop. I'm respectful of other people, their space and what they have to say. I will listen before I start talking. Once people get to know me I am an incredibly caring and honest person.
WHO: I'm a full-time worker who is clean and reliable but also very quiet. I do tend to keep to myself but I am happy for a chat now and then. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. My current housemate/landlord can provide a reference if desired. I have lots of sharehouse experience and references are available. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet (no ad hoc parties!). I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, chest of drawers, bookcase and desk in my room. I also have a small amount of my own cookware for the kitchen, if it can be accommodated. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or disruptive drunkenness. WHERE: Anywhere in the ACT, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. WHEN: I need to move by June 30 at latest; if moving sooner than that I need to give 2 weeks notice at my current address. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message (with any extra helpful info that is not in your listing), and we'll go from there.
I am 35 year old male, worked at one of the embassy in Canberra full time, I enjoyed playing online games, but not to geeky and would love to chat when I am at home. I respect privacy of others and I like clean bathroom and kitchen. please ask me anything you want to know. Thanks
Hola!! I’m a down to earth gal who enjoys a glass of vino and cheeseboard more than what’s considered healthy. I’m a clean and tidy person who can respect others space, but also up for some friendly banter! I work full time Monday-Friday so enjoy making the most out of my weekends by getting out of the house for a brewsky and a boogie and then picnics in the sun as a form of recovery. Looking forward to hearing from you! Peace, love and body rolls ✌🏽 Arielle
I am a visiting scholar at ANU. I and my wife are not noisy. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
I’m originally from Japan, but I’ve been in Aus for the last 4.5 years. I moved in Canberra 3 months ago due to a new job in Barton. I work full time as an early childhood lead educator. I am looking to make new friends by living with new people, but I respect our own space as well. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri as I talk with babies all day 5 days haha
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
My wife loves cooking and we are clean. I love board games and watching movies. Playing video games when time permits.
Australian from 1992, IT professional. Currently working in DHS. Born in Sri Lanka. Enjoy Meditation, Healing, Yoga, vegan food, Art and Music and involve in community activities . Clean and Tidy, Honest and Cheerful. For fun playing musical instruments, setup art works, singing and teaching Meditation and Reiki
Very easy going! I'm comfortable being quiet in my room and I'm comfortable socialising and having a drink with my fellow housemates. I love to cook and struggle to contain myself to making one serving so lucky you! Work at rebel so I can hook you up with sporting goods. It'll be my first time in Canberra (from Melbourne), excited to see the sights.
I am a very tidy and quiet housemate. I like my peace and quiet but I won't mind hanging out occasionally. I buy my own food and supplies. I work weekdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and when I come home I enjoy just playing video games, drawing or browsing the web. I tend to spend weekends hanging out at my girlfriend's place, but I would like to have her over some days as well.
Hi, very easy going person, work full time, likes to keep very fit, into MTB riding and triathlons.
Hey, I'm Jacob! I am a 27-year-old male looking for a share place in Canberra. I am easy going, social but also enjoy my own time. I also consider myself responsible and clean. It is a little strange writing about myself - but I would love to meet you and discuss the possibility of sharing something cool. In a nutshell: I am a full time public servant - who enjoys soccer, music, movie nights, gaming, board games and hummus. Seriously hummus is really nice. Not overly phased about the location and i am flexible with a commencement date.
Hi, I’m transferring to Canberra with my employer and will be spending the majority of my time at work or at home in Sydney, I am considerate, respectful and enjoy other company but understand when people need their own time. I’m clean, organized and handy in the kitchen and look forward to meeting some great flatmates :)
Hey I'm Dan. Recently moved back to Canberra after 13 years in Perth. I Travel a lot for work so wouldn't be around all the time. I'm quite a tidy person and can sometimes have a bit of OCD, so i'd like to live in a clean environment. I'm a little more inclined to teaming up with someone to get a new place rather than moving into someone else's environment. I have a decent amount of furnishings and everything a kitchen needs. A typical night at home for me would be a few beers, some experimenting in the kitchen and decent tunes on in the background.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
