I am working full time as an sparky apprentice, I moved to ACT in march from the NT. very laid back and easy to get along with, I would like to say I’m a bit more mature than my age might suggest. Big rugby, league and cricket fan. hoping to move out of my crazy aunts place soon.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! A pet friendly house is preferred - my dad likes to visit once every couple months and brings with him a lab and a swiss Shepherd (pictured) - Both are house trained, non destructive and very loving! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! Look forward to hearing from you!
I’m relocating back to Canberra to be closer to my 4 year old daughter who means the world to me I’m a commercial plumber and have been a plumber for over 10 years . I need to find someone who likes children and is flexible with me having her over on weekends In saying that she will be only sleeping there majority of the time as we will be out all day doing activities together . Hey, my name is Lachlan and I am a 23-year-old Canberran, born and bred. I work full-time as a journalist, and I am looking for a new place to live after the owners of the house I was living in wanted to move back in. Fun facts about me: 1. I have a lot of siblings, like a lot, so I know how to live with people and to make sure I keep the house nice and tidy. 2. I am a bit of a sports nut, so when I am not writing about sport, I tend to be either on the sideline or on the couch or in the pub watching some form of sport. 3. I am a people-person, so I always down for a red wine and chat. Looking forward to hearing from you. Ta
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU. (no, I'm not boring, my degree is) Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
I'm a 28yr old male recently moved down from the Gold Coast for work, I'll be working 5-6 days a week long hours and won't be there much. Clean and tidy and will look after your place as if it were my own. Will ideally be looking for own room and own bathroom as I prefer to have my own space. I live a active lifestyle thru work and the beach and I like to play golf and go for a skate. Won't have any furniture with me just linen and clothes so looking for a furnished room if possible. Thank you Ps. Also only looking to move in with one other person or couple.
Hello, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Stijn Steenbergen. I am a 21-year-old Dutch undergraduate business student. I would describe my personality as introverted, driven and goal orientated. Furthermore, I am also someone who likes to keep things clean and organized. At the end of August, I will be starting an internship in Canberra. This internship will last around 5 months, ending in January. Now I am looking for housing during this 4-5-month period.
I work Full time non-smoker, CLEAN, respectful, I guess a little sociable but still appreciates their own time. I am also honest, easy going and most of all have common sense and genuine respect for belongings and items!! Basically all that good stuff we want every flatmate to be : )
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
I have been living in share houses for the past 9 years so am pretty used to communal living. I have lived in a number of places across the east coast as well as overseas. Having lived in so many places I have pretty flexible and adaptable. Having lived in lots of sharehouses I am used the respecting people's space and keeping the noise down as well cleaning up after myself etc I am currently living in a sharehouse in Sydney, but have been offered a new role in Canberra. I am pretty open to any location in Canberra. I love indoor plants and have quite a collection. I would love to live in a place with pets. I also enjoy gardening and I am trying to improve my outdoor green thumb :) Prior to moving to Sydney I used to make terrariums.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
I’m a friendly and relaxed public servant looking for a new place to live. I’m usually pretty quiet but I’m also approachable and easy to get along with. I pick up after myself and always make sure I keep the common areas clean. I work 9-5 on weekdays and like to get out and explore on weekends. When I’m not out, I like kicking back with some trashy tv and a drink. I’m looking for a place that’s close to public transport but also has off street parking for my car. If I sound like someone you wouldn’t mind sharing a place with, I’d love to hear from you.
Hey there! I am an experienced professional, working full-time, recently moved to Canberra and looking for a room to rent. I like to keep things and surroundings clean and tidy, expect and respect your privacy and boundaries. I am well-organized, non-smoker and love meeting and making new friends across cultures. Fun fact – I have excellent cooking skills! Looking for 6-month stay with potential for extending. Seeking soon as possible and open to team-ups. Let’s catch up!
I'm a german guy who would work in Canberra for about 6 months. I traveled to down under with my girlfriend and after the 6 months we want to travel and see the Australian landscape. But I just look for a flat for myself. I'm a easy going guy and i like to do sport.
I’m positive, outgoing and super friendly. I’m into yoga, great conversations and I love to cook! I am a solicitor who has a passion for social justice. I am currently working in Indigenous Affairs Strategic Policy. I am vegetarian, sustainbly conscious and shop at the markets on the weekend. Would like to live with housemates who are recycling and composting too :) I would love to share a cottage style house, with French windows (one can dream!) and a small garden. I am ideally looking for a studio or to share with one other. I am open to a 3 person sharehouse if it’s the right fit! Having lived in a number of sharehouses, I’m considerate of others’ space and am looking for a home that is a cosy sanctuary respected by all.
Hey! I'm a happy, relaxed person who enjoys video games, TV shows, and loves getting outside. I am in Defence so naturally I am clean, tidy and have lived with others. I am social and enjoy making friends, so I would prefer to be friends with my roommate(s) though I definitely value my down time. I'm down for a household meal once a week or so to catch up (e.g. Sunday morning pancakes gatherings), or a games night. I work Monday - Friday and in the afternoons I enjoy listening to music, cruising the interwebs and am more than happy for a chat. Most Saturday mornings I like to go to the markets and usually cook up food for the week. I also enjoy hikes, grabbing coffee or finding random activities around Canberra. Most nights I like to stay home and read or jump on Netflix. I do occasionally like exploring the Canberra nightlife but am back by a decent hour and I don't go out on school nights. My ideal household is a laid-back environment with everyone understanding their role in the house and acting proactively. Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Both Male and Female roommates are welcomed. Look forward to meeting you!
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
