I am a 29 years old registered Pharmacist. Currently working in Sydney. I moved to Sydney from Canberra in Jan 2019. Now I am moving back to Canberra in Nov for a full-time permanent job. For strangers I am a quiet person but once I build a friendship it may be difficult to keep me quiet. I am a Christian (here I said it - I am religious and I hope that is not a deterrent factor to add me as your housemate) guy from South Indian background. I watch a lot of movies and Netflix - so if you are a regular movie goer or enjoys Netflix shows and requires a partner in crime - I am that person. I also enjoy watching sports especially cricket (of course I am Indian) and soccer. I do not drink or smoke. So I may not be able to grab a drink with you.. but Hey.. Who doesn't want a full-time sober housemate.
So I’m on disability support .. I have back pain which I get treatment for.. I’m leaving my husband of 18 years so I’m new to life with no real close friends.. I’m a quite person that likes to go to the gym , I’m caring (probably to much) and kind easy to get along with...I do smoke but only outside and not much. Would love to fined some people that have the same qualities as myself to share a home with so I can feel secure. Conftable and start to enjoy my life again
Hi, I’m Nikita. I’m moving to Canberra from Melbourne, Victoria to work full-time. Neat, clean, peaceful and courteous girl. I’ve got good rental payment records in all places I’ve lived at. Have been in a number of shared accommodations, hence I’m adaptive and considerate. Looking for a nice and bright place with kind and lovely housemates. Looking at moving in asap if the place suits.
Hey there, I'm looking for a room in Canberra, preferably somewhere near some trails/hills. I work full time and love getting up early and out on my bike or outside for a run. My partying days are behind me but I love a good wine and a yarn over dinner (full disclosure: I am a hopeless cook). I moved to Canberra for work from regional Victoria and I'm looking for something long term. I'd like a space where I can sleep and sometimes work. Bike storage space is also important. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Karla
Mahalia and myself are both shift workers. Mahalia is a nurse at The Canberra Hospital and I work in Maritime Radio. We love our dog and 2 cats to bits and ensure that they are suitably spoiled. We are a bit nerdy, with a love for video games, dungeons and dragons, and a good netflix binge. I used to be a chef, so a place with a sick kitchen and somewhere for my smoker is a must. We like our personal space, but also love a banter and a few bevvies in the sun.
***Looking for a room from mid-late November Working full time in my own business. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym. I am a quiet person who prioritizes my health and sleep. Forsee spending a lot of time during 2020 in Sydney, where my girlfriend will be living. Living with tidy housemates is important to me.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Hi there, I am 22 years old & enjoy food, socialising and sport. I am extremely clean and easy going, and expect to live with someone of the same nature. I work full time in Weston Creek, and study full time online, which keeps me busy throughout the week. I have moved from Brisbane around 7 months ago, so I am relatively new to Canberra.
Full time working beauty therapist and makeup artist from Canberra. I am Very flexible, reliable and friendly! My ideal lifestyle would be to come home to a clean and tidy home. I enjoy having brunch and coffee on the weekends when I get the chance to ! I really enjoy living in Canberra and seeing the scenery it has to offer. Hence why id prefer to live in the south side 🙂 I’ve grown up with 2 family pugs so if you have dogs that’s a bonus !
I'm non binary. Please don't invite me to female only sharehouses. I'll be a second year student next year, looking to move in somewhere around mid January-February. Somewhere inner north with a yard prefered.
I work in the public service as a research assistant. I work full-time hours Monday-Friday and study/train during nights and weekends so I'll likely be out most of the time. I'm pretty laid back and sociable but also appreciate having my own space. I'm fairly tidy and clean up after myself - I like to keep my space squared away. I'm mainly interested in longer-term rentals as I hate moving. My moving date is flexible, though I'd like to be into a place before the New Year. I have a car so I need a parking space, either on/off street parking is fine. Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is ideal.
I'm new to Canberra, and looking for a long term place to stay (6 to 12 months). I am a mehcanical Engineer and recently started a new job in Queanbeyan. I am social able, easy going, clean and tidy and sportive. Looking for team ups with like minded people to have a fun litttle community to live with.
Hi there I'm Lachlan, 29 and a full time public servant. I'm on the hunt for a new share house as my current roomie has gone and bought a place. Here's a quick run down of me: - I'm a well trained housemate skilled in cleaning, bill paying and anything around the yard, - I have hobbies that keep me busy so I'm often out of the house (mountain biking, State Emergency Service, picnic'ing), - Enjoy a chat over dinner / breakfast - My partying days are behind me, but I'm easy going on having friends / partners over etc. - I get along with just about everyone, and especially pets. Get in touch if you think we would get along! Cheers Lachlan
Hi, My name is Rebecca and I am a 46 year young single female. I have recently moved down from Hamilton Island for the best job in the world, director of food and beverage at Jamala and the zoo. I am easy going and although quiet, also enjoy the occasional social times, love cooking for both myself and my housemates when home. Not fussed about actual home but definitely want a decent sized bedroom and own bathroom. Would love to hear from any prospective housemates! :)
Recently moved to Canberra from Melbourne and am working full time in Yarralumla. I’m looking for friendly, respectful housemates that don’t mind a chat or glass of wine every now and then but also appreciate down time. I’m excited to explore Canberra and find some great markets, and parks for picnicking in!
Hi everyone! I'm Sophia, I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at ANU but I'm originally from Germany. I am currently looking to move out of student housing and find something more permanent in Canberra. I'm an animal-lover, as well as a lover of good food and company. My hobbies and interests include: books, amateur photography and cooking. In an ideal roommate, I'm looking for someone who is friendly, respectful and clean.
I will be moving to Canberra on Friday the 15th of November to commence a graduate role. I have spent the last few years travelling whilst studying my degree remotely. I have been based in Central America for the better part of the last two years. I am fairly active and enjoy surfing and hiking and am learning Spanish. I'm looking to move into a place asap. I don't have a car so am looking for a place that has direct(ish) public transport links to Curtin, where I will be working.
