Really easy going, clean and tidy. I am really busy between work, sport, studies, gym, etc. I like doing my own thing but I also love socialising. I have my own bedroom furniture so ideally am after an unfurnished room.
I'm a clean, intuitive individual who loves socialising as much as I love my own time. I would love to live in a share house with people around my own age, preferably students. I'm currently studying Business and Psychological Science at Griffith, about to start my third year. I currently work at an architecture printing shop in Slacks Creek. I also have a ute, and have a passion for driving; so if you ever need anything moved, or just need a lift, I'm always happy to help. My hobbies include: Game of Thrones, movie watching, working out, playing PlayStation; all the usual 20-year-old male things. I get along well with women and have lived with them before, and respect the privacy and rules of other housemates, as much as I expect them to respect mine. I'm 6 foot 3, and love working out, but also love pizza. You do the math. If you need furniture moved, or a spider killed (or moved), I'm your guy. I currently live in a share house in Holland Park. I love the location, and to a degree, the house, but my housemates don't seem to understand the value of a clean house, hence why I'm here :)
I am a 23 yr old girl living in Brisbane, working full time. I will never go to the gym with you but I am always down for an adventure. Pretty independent and happy to chill in my room but also pay for Stan and make a mean cheese board if you want to hang out. Can cook, can clean, can't resist a wine. Not in a gang, no crazy ex, and if you do meet my friends I promise you get used to them :)
Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house (should be move ready in April, possibly sooner). Looking for potential team ups in advance. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also.
I'm easy going, love to laugh, little bit of a nerd but sociable, enjoy going out with friends but am introverted so I need some recharge time. I was brought up to be considerate so I do my best to ensure I don't frustrate anybody. I've just graduated with a Bachelor of I.T. in Software Development, but my previous background was in Graphic Design. I've got a job lined up in the city which starts mid February. I'm currently living on the northern part of the Gold Coast, which is where I originally grew up. I love watching movies, playing video games, learning new things (like languages, philosophy, science) and hanging with friends.
Hi there! My name is Emily and I am looking to rent a granny flat, one bedroom apartment or a self contained room. I am flying down to Brisbane on the 14th of January and are looking for a place to stay through my pregnancy and eventually for a period of time after my child is born. I am a completely independent, self supporting person who is very clean and respectful. I also always pay my rent on time and are more likely to pay weeks in advance. Although I am available to move in on the 14th of January I can pay bond and a deposit to hold the property until I arrive. I would love to hear from anyone that may help me. With great thanks! Emily.
I am pretty easy going girl who is very down to earth and quite. I love watching a a fair bit of TV shows and chilling out at home. If i am not at home, i am mostly out working or with friends.
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
Nursing student studying at Griffith University, slated to graduate end of next year. Non-smoker, no pets (but would eventually like to get one if allowed). Prefer unfurnished as I have been renting for 10+ years and have my own furniture
We are moving to Brisbane on the 18th of Jan. We are looking and applying for jobs now and will be continuing. (both will be on unemployment from Centrelink) until we find jobs. We are both easy going and very friendly. We are pretty quiet, polite and we are neat and tidy. We both don't smoke or do drugs. We do drink on the occasional event however. I am (Rebecca) 18 years and Ethan is 19 years old.
Hey there! My names max. I'm just looking for a place to stay while I work and train. Im very healthy and fit, love going to the gym and doing MMA. I'm very easy to get along with and I generally just pickup straight after myself so no one has to worry about my messes and I like to cook up healthy meals to have during the week and I don't mind cooking for others. Really looking for some likeminded healthy, but laid back people to spend some time around while I make bank for my training camp in Canada. Im no party animal these days, but I have no problems socializing and having some drinks, I'll never say no to the Bavarian beer cafe. Mostly, with the time I have at home, I'll be drawing, gaming (streaming down the track) and straightout resting from training and work. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Just moved back to Australia from London after 2.5 years to go back to Uni. I'm originally from Ballarat in Victoria but have chosen Brisbane for the warmer weather! I'm into most sports, music (both playing and listening), going on adventures, new experiences and meeting new people. As I'm new to Brisbane I'm ideally looking for a place with like minded people, roughly the same age as me. I'm a good housemate as I am clean and tidy, respectful of housemates space but also up for socialising.
Hi I'm dan, im 27 and I'm a project manager for a civil construction company.. I fly to Sydney and Adelaide for 3 or 4 days most weeks so I won't be home all the time.. I'm fun and adventurous.. I'm a clean house kinda guy and love pets, though I don't have any and enjoy a drink on the weekends
I'm a young, reliable teen looking to move to the big city. Decided for a change and where else but the big city. I'm hoping to be there by January 2017. I'm a fashion illustrator, want-to-be actor. I love animals cats or dogs. Stick to myself but once you get to know me, I believe we will be amazing friends.
I am friendly but quiet, a focused student. I study forensic science and criminology.
I won't be there much! haha I will still be living with my parents on the Sunshine Coast, but need a spot to stay twice a week. Arriving 9.20pm, and leaving by 8am or so in the morning. I will also need to stay a few weekends overnight, until April. I will be a full time dance student for 2 years.
***Update*** I have now included that my lease at the current place doesn't end until February '17. Also, I am only looking for a room with own bathroom. Hi my name is Johnny. I have no pets and pay rent and bills on time. I work in a day surgery in an eye clinic as an instrument technician. I am seeking a furnished house or apartment to share with a responsible and mature individual with their own active lifestyle. No furniture to bring except some bedroom units. I enjoy my own space but can easily be sociable on regular occasions. I wouldn't mind teaming up too and prefer having an undercover car space, or off-street parking. Thought I might add a few odd bits here about myself as a means of informing suitability - My favourite rock and roll band is a toss-up between Wilco, Radiohead, and Blur. My favourite male singer/songwriter is Tom Waits and my favourite female singer/songwriter is Neko Case. My favourite food is pasta with anything! EXCEPT veal or kangaroo meat. I am conscious of my eating habits and try to minimise consumption of meat with the goal of cutting it out of my diet altogether. The ideal way to contact me is through the Flatmates website or mobile phone. Regards, johnny

Hello, my name is Charlotte Johnsen, I am twenty one years old and currently, I am studying as a full-time student at Griffith university (Nathan campus, Queensland). Ideally, I am looking for a place with three vacant rooms in either a shared house or private apartment setting. Ideally, I wish to be based near the city on the south east side. Places like Annerley, Greenslopes, Holland park, Woolloongabba, Mount Gravatt, South Brisbane, and Brisbane City would be ideal, however we are quite flexible. Our ideal rental budget would be around $150-$225 per week per person (including all bills such as water, electricity, internet etc...) We are looking to move in around the 26th of January, 2017. Should there be any questions or queries please do not hesitate to ask. Kind regards, Charlotte Johnsen

I'm currently training at a Academy and will not be home during the days, train and play rugby outside of this so will be away during some nights and weekends as well. Recently moved to Brisbane from NSW, all Australian, love meeting new people and having conversations, sense of humour and worth taking the risk to get to know. Clean and organised, more then happy to share and cleaning or labouring duties needed around the house, plenty of fun to be had and life to live, so lets move in together :)
I'm a second year film student who works part time as a barista, I like long drives and relaxing but also can be heaps of fun. Would love to have dinner and with my flat mates from time to time! I could bring a super cute ragdoll cat but don't need too ! Looking for like minded females or males around my age and a place to call home !

Hi there, I am friendly, tidy, always pay my bills on time and happy to have a chat or do our own things. I work for QUT in technology support and also study there so I'm a pretty occupied guy. On the weekends I love to get out and about and during the week I usually study or catch up with friends. I need a place that has a lock-up garage as I have some tools and bits n pieces, Im happy to pay extra.
I'm an international UQ student from Thailand. I'm on my last semester finishing my degree of Epidemiology. I'm easy-going, passionate about fitness. I love kids, cooking and to keep the kitchen clean. I'm a non-smoker and rarely drink. I keep it quiet most of the time but don't mind to socialise or to go out once in a while.
Hi, we are friends (not a couple) from Bundaberg who are looking for a 2 bedroom place in Brisbane. Romy is 17 (18 in August) and will be starting at Griffith Uni this year to study Bachelor of law. Jack is 17 (18 in May) and is getting a work transfer to Brisbane for this year and hopes to study at Uni next year. We are looking for a place near Griffith or close to public transport to get to Uni. Romy has a little dog but if pets are not allowed that's ok, the dog can stay with her parents in Bundaberg. We will respect your place and keep it clean & tidy.
Hey, I'm a german university student and I will make an internship in Rowville, Victoria for 3 months during my work and travel visa. This is the reason for looking for furnished rooms with nice guys to talk and to go out/drinking a beer for example. I've got experience in living in shared-apartments since I've started studying in Würzburg. I do not like shared apartments only to live there - instead to become friends :) I am open for everything and also want to travel around and make some sightseeing in Australia after my internship. It would be awesome, If you send me a message. Best wishes from Würzburg/Germany, Dennis
Looking for share accommodation or to start a lease with others. Very clean and organised. Not at home a lot due to working, studying and volunteering. My dog is amazing and extremely cute, very well trained, needs no leash when walked etc, desexed and 10 yrs old, thinks he's human. I work as a social worker and I'm studying to be a nurse. ( use to be a chef). Love kayaking and boxing classes I'd prefer something very close to garden city shopping centre
Hey, My name is Jasmine and I'm a 26 year old, fifth year law student. I'm pretty relaxed and out going which confuses people when I say that I study law full time and I work part time. I do study a lot but in my free time I play tennis, sing and play the cello, go to dance class, and hang out with friends. I'm looking to live in a responsible, clean and mature household with people who have similar interests to me, broadly speaking. It would be nice to live with other active people who wouldn't mind hanging out and conversing over a drink now and then. I'm not really a fan of pets or smoking and I am not a vegetarian. If this all sounds intriguing send me a message and we can go from there. Jasmine
Hey guys, My lease runs out in the first week of February and I am looking for a new place to live. I would prefer to try an apartment or townhouse, something with a bit more security. I am studying law so am spend a lot of time studying. I work part time and travel to visit my Mum quite a bit in NSW. She has heaps of cool animals that we could visit! I'm a pretty chatty person but also like my space.
Hey there!!! Full-time postgraduate student looking for a new place to call home. Very easy going and always happy to have a chat. Respect other's privacy and expect the same from them. Love music, movies and watching sports on tv and always up for a beer or two. Umm Don't really mind living with guys or girls just hoping to find a chilled atmosphere to live in. Really tidy and organized, so looking for a place that is clean and not too noisy, includes all the bills and has a FAST INTERNET.
I'm quiet and keep to myself mostly. I'm very organised and tidy.
Ex-nurse, responsible, quiet-ish, clean, tidy, non-smoker, rarely use alcohol, not into parties. Spend most time on my computer so often up late (build my own, btw). Volunteer work 2 days/wk, sometimes more - up at 5:30 (dep. on location/bus). Own bedding, kitchen stuff, and a lot of books (~20 boxes - need dry secure storage, perhaps stacked against garage wall). Play quiet classical/Spanish guitar sometimes. Like to use incense and candles occasionally (fire alarms ?!), but it's not a must. Happy to help around house/garden. Get along well with young children and pets. Prefer place where shoes are left at the door, and cleanliness & tidyness (esp. in kitchen area!) is a stated requirement (if in share accom). Prefer all-inclusive rent (ie, incl bills and net access [net access is important!]) for room in family home (ideally), or share accommodation, long term.
Friends since high school, lived in Brisbane 3yrs, if your house is close to public transport we are interested. If you have a cat we are VERY interested. Not a couple. We are looking for two private rooms
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, I've always lived at home but I'm more then eager to move out and experience living with other people aside from friends and family. I like socializing but can also respect boundaries and can analyse situations quite well. I have no debt meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with almost anyone. I hope to find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself. I am keen to move out sooner than said date if need be. Feel free to msg me, I'm pretty easy going.
I am just a quiet sorta guy, who during the working week just looks after the things needing done. During my days off I like to get out and about, ride my motorbike or go wonder and have a coffee. I don't drink much or often. No drugs. I like to keep fit and healthy. Like music. I drive trucks for a living which keeps me pretty active. Ex kiwi
I'm from California and just graduated from UQ. I'm returning from holiday and would like a temporary place to stay near my work as I look for full time. I'm VERY clean, non smoker, rarely cook and keep to myself. Although I'm not completely anti-social. I enjoy girls nights in but also having a beer with the boys and watching tv. If you'd like to know more, just ask! :)
Im a young student, trying to finish my studying. I've been living out of home for a while now with a friend and her family but as to recent change I decided to move out. I'm pretty quiet but I do like to go out with friends on weekends sometimes it even just go out to lunch or movies find something to do. I have a friendly personality so I like to get along with everyone plus I'm the funny one in the group. I don't have a problem with helping around the house and having a friendly chat with you. I'm very independent and have been for a while now. It is my first time moving out officially as I've always lived with friends and their parents but from doing that I've picked up a lot of life skills.
I am a mature, friendly and social person. I enjoy having a chat and a glass of wine but also enjoy my own time and I fully respect other people's personal space. I am a very clean and tidy person. Bills are always paid on time and in full. I am reliable and respect other people's property. I have very little furniture (apart from my bedroom furniture) so am looking for a place that is fully furnished. I would like a place that has off street parking if possible or at least plenty of on street parking. Own bathroom would also be something I would prefer.
Down to Earth, Easy Going, and Clean Person... Working Full-Time Monday to Friday. Love to kick back on weekends and have a drink or two with some Music.
Moving to Brisbane From Toowoomba to attend uni at Griffith. I am quite happy in just about any situation, I can always find a way to entertain myself and have fun with others. I am seriously into music and love anything to do with it, as well as adventure sports and being great. Many of my friends are already living in Brisbane so I am moving to be closer with them and to become an independent person, whilst studying.
My partner and I are looking for a small unit or granny flat to rent as our first step to living on own. We are both clean, career orientated people with stable incomes. Luke is a Personal Trainer at Goodlife gym, and I, Danielle, am a Sales and Design Assistant at the display village in Rochedale.
Quiet, respectful and mindful of others when needed however very social especially if we get along well. Love spending nights in watching either sport or netflix but love going out for a drink. Lover of breakfast foods and burgers so if you want to try a new cafe or burger joint count me in. Night shift worker away from the city so need a car space (secured or free street parking is fine) and need housemates to be okay with said shift - usual arrival time home from work would be roughly 5-6am. Very understanding that there may be noise around while I sleep during the day and will not make this an issue. Looking for a private room (ensuite or own bathroom preferred but not a deal breaker) where I can walk and explore the Valley and inner city lifestyle and enjoy a drink at live gigs without needing a $60 cab or be a short uber ride away (eg Morningside) Also interested in starting a teamup possibly with one or two others and have seen plenty properties online around Morningside and also some closer to the Valley. Very respectful and clean in shared areas and always open to conversations about how we are able to improve or keep our living situations running well. Feel free to message me whenever. Most likely to reply after 2pm due to sleeping during the day.
