PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW CAREFULLY: I also own several pieces of furniture (including a double bed, tall boy and dresser, sewing machine cabinet that folds out and chair, a large desk 160x170cm L shaped with office chair, a few small cupboards and 2 book cases). I also have a few plastic tubs of crafting supplies. Space for my desk, along with unlimited or large limit internet, are necessary for my study as I am a correspondence student. I am hoping to find a suitable home that essentially allows me two rooms to accommodate most of my things, I can store some of the small things such as craft equipment but the bed, desk, tall boy, dresser, book cases and sewing machine cabinets I am not able to store elsewhere. If you can accommodate this, please read on :) About me: I have recently completed a Bachelor of Criminology and am planning to complete Honours this year. In my spare time I like to do crafting such as bobbin lace and papercraft, photography, reading and watching Netflix - in particular true crime binge-fests. I enjoy gardening and have several outdoor potted plants that I would bring with me. I also like technology and "smart home appliances", and I want to learn more about programming - I'm not great at it but have built a little robot that actually works. I am neat and clean up after myself, a non smoker, rarely drink, and am not into partying. I wouldn't mind have the ability to host a few friends for dinner now and then. I would enjoy also a chat or having dinner with housemates on occasion. I'm generally described as a friendly introvert with a somewhat sarcastic sense of humour. I am respectful of others' need for space. As a correspondence student and home body, I spend a fair amount of time at home, and am used to and enjoy my own company. I would also like covered parking as my car is not particularly new, I'm trying to baby it a bit. I need to avoid too many stairs (some internal may be okay, but need to avoid flights of external) and physical activities such as vacuuming, due to having arthritis and other chronic illnesses. Happy to negotiate other chores that I am capable of doing, and my parents also visit me weekly and assist me with maintaining my space as well. Also, every three months my mum comes to stay for the night but other than that, I am unlikely to have overnight guests.

I'm an APS employee who's just moved to Canberra for ful-time work in Brindabella Park. I'm clean, quiet and generally keep to myself. Happy to grab a bite or a coffee on the odd occasion and definitely hoping to see a bit more of Canberra while I'm here. I pretty much just come with the bare essentials plus half-a-hatchback's worth of pot plants, but I'm hoping to source some more furniture in the future now that I'm permanently situated. 0420421776

Hi I’m Liam I’m 21 years old. I’m a UC undergrad studying a double degree of psychology and law. I’m passionate about community service, coffee and new experiences. Originally from a small country town, I work as a restaurant supervisor, I love a good hike and a chat. Ideally would be after a roommate who’s happy to respect each others space but also isn’t a stranger. Cleanliness is a must, honesty and clear communication is a nice too. Of course it’s a two way street and I’d be more than happy to pitch in with chores and practice what I preach.

Looking for a place in Canberra that accepts couples. My partner and I both work full time jobs - I am in the public service, and he is the manager of a retail store. On top of working full time, I also study part time at UC. We are both busy people and would keep the property well looked after, we would also never be loud tenants, or disrespectful to the property or neighbours in any way. We are very reliable and trustworthy young adults, and our personal references reflect that entirely. We both enjoy our quiet/down time, however we also do enjoy being social and having a great chat.

I am a fashion student looking for a friendly women's share house. I am from Hobart but moved up her to study. I am generally a very quiet person but I do like to socialise with those around me. I love to cook and play music. Particularly looking for a house that allows pets as I am definitely a cat person and am thinking of getting a kitty in the future.

My name is Holly, I am 21 years old and am a nursing student. I have a casual job but pretty much work part time hours. I have classes three days a week and usually work 5-6 days sometimes finishing at 10pm. On weekends if I am not at work, I will either be studying, relaxing or hanging out with my partner. I am after a unfurnished room. I am wanting house mates that I can have a chat with but also respect everyone’s privacy and when a little quiet is needed to study.

I'm a non smoker, enjoys having a drink or 2, watch movies, board games but also respects peoples privacy. I am pretty easy going, chilled guy and pretty tidy and I clean up after myself. I lived in Canada last year, shared housing with others so I'm no stranger to a shared house. I play soccer, play music on my guitar but also respect that it does make noise so I try not to be loud. I'm from Townsville, North Queensland and made the move a month ago to seek cooler weather and to be closer to the snow.

I’m currently living in Brisbane. I’m going to be new to Canberra so I’m going to be doing a lot of exploring around. I’m looking forward to doing some bike riding, going to the gym and going out to try new restaurants. I have a new job working for APS- so I’ll be stably employed and I’m looking for housemates who are similarly reliable and grounded. Love to meet new people and get on well with everyone- prefer people who are the same. Not fussed about how many people, etc- but I have a king size bed so I need a decent sized room.
