Hey everyone, I’m looking for a new place to stay around town, I’m easy going work full time in the APS mostly either at work, with friends or training! I’m pretty easy going and goes with the flow, happy to have a chat!
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne in 2020 to begin full-time work in the APS. I don't know much about the city, or many people that live there, so I'm looking forward to exploring what's on offer and making new friends. I'm a keen traveller and lover of the outdoors, and I'm hoping to get into cycling and mountain bike riding more when I'm in Canberra. I'm a big fan of sports, playing soccer myself, but also being a passionate follower of the AFL. My free time outside of work will most likely be taken up be keeping active and also socialising at cafes / bars. I'm an organised but easygoing person, and will always make sure that I am a reliable and trustworthy housemate in terms of housework and finances. I respect people's privacy but also would hope to live with a group of people that I can easily get along with as friends. Ideally, I'd like to live in the inner suburbs, but will consider further out if needed. Overall I'm not too fussed, I'd just like have my own room and have it finalised around the start of Feb. Feel free to message me if you might be keen to team up!
I'm a student that works part-time as a public servant for the ACT Government. Looking for a house that doesn't mind some social activities, while also respecting my personal space due to my hectic schedule.
Hello, I am currently working with the NSW Government and having secured a position in the ACT Government, i am planning a move to Canberra ASAP. It is a city i have fallen in love with. I am an early to rise and early to bed person. I am an easy and friendly person to get along with. I like to keep my surroundings clean, and expect the same from others. I enjoy movies, going to the library, reading fiction. I Also enjoy cooking various cuisines ( when i am not lazy). I am looking for not just a room. I am looking for a home where there is good energy (light, decor included) and people who i can say hello to. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hey guys! My name is Cheyanne, I’m 24 and I work part time as well as study. I’m looking for a room with like minded people! I like to think of myself as super laid back, colourful, artsy, bubbly, outgoing person who can bring laughter into any household :) I would ideally like to have/cook a family dinner and a few bevos regularly with my housemates but I also enjoy my own space and alot of the time while at home I’ll be studying, doing my art or procrastinating. I’m out or away most weekends and I’ve lived in share houses before and know what’s expected, I’m very respectful of others property and space :) I clean as I go and like to live in a clean house but I’m not over the top! Im happy to live with males or females (and any animals!). I smoke but always outside of coarse!! Thanks for reading!! 🤟🕉🌈🤗🍁
***Looking for a room from mid-late November Working full time in my own business. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym. I am a quiet person who prioritizes my health and sleep. Forsee spending a lot of time during 2020 in Sydney, where my girlfriend will be living. Living with tidy housemates is important to me.
My names Michael. Im a Young professional who will be joining APS in February and hoping to move to canberra in December. Im a quiet person who will like their personal space. - Im likely to stay with the place for a minimum of 18 months (I'm not an apartment jumper). - I'd have a car and would be willing to give you a lift to places if im also headed out. - I like a good chat, but im a very quiet person (you wont be hearing loud blaring music from my room disturbing you) - Id be down to clean with you or split the cost of a cleaner (whichever is your preference) - I've held numerous leadership positions throughout my career and university (as testament to my considerate personality) and would be very respectful to ensuring that we share a good relationship. - I never leave dirty dishes around and will take the initiative to bring out trash if its full. - I always pay rent on time. Hope this helps to illustrate that I would be a good roommate. Looking forward to your reply!
Hi, I work full-time as a lawyer and moving back to Canberra after a year in Sydney in a couple weeks' time. Done the share house thing before and know how to live with others and be considerate. I'm clean and friendly, happy to hang or go out but also just as happy to watch Netflix and have down time. Looking to move by 5 October, happy to pay a couple of weeks additional rent before moving if it makes it easier. Any questions please feel free to ask
Originally from Melbourne, I am about to start full time work in the ACT. I'm easy going, down-to-earth and grew up in a large family so I am used to living with other people. I pride myself on my tidiness and my contributions to the household. I have a love of sports and the outdoors (AFL, rock-climbing and hiking particularly), play a little guitar and enjoy a social drink or three. I'm looking for like-minded housemates who are flexible and social, but also have an attitude of cleanliness and equal contributions to the household. They will have to have an understanding that I will have irregular work hours and rotating shifts. While I have a preference for other working professionals, I'm not overly fussed about that.
I am a full-time public servant and part-time law/commerce student. I've been in Canberra for 2.5 years now, having moved from regional NSW. I love getting out and about, being active and socialising. I enjoy living in a social household, and am always keen for a chat and a cup of tea/glass of wine. I have lived in share houses for the last 4 years, and respect the privacy of housemates. Please don't hesitate to contact me if we sound like a good fit, and we can arrange to meet up and have a chat.
Hey! I’m a recent law/arts graduate from Sydney relocating to Canberra for work. I grew up on the NSW south coast and love outdoor adventures, surf trips and travelling. I adore coffee, I’m passionate about the environment and I’ve been vegan for about 5 years. I lived in France for 18 months so I also speak fluent French. I’m looking for a sharehouse/flat with some uni students or other young workers who can show me the city, introduce me to some people (I know no one in Canberra!) and share a fun yet relaxed lifestyle. I like to stay pretty calm during the week but enjoy going out for drinks, live music etc on weekends. If any of this resonates then I would love to hear from you!
