Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, go to the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.
I have moved to Canberra since May and looking for another ideally fully/semi furnished room initially for a 3x months stay but likely extending. The location of the property preferably walking distance from Gungahlin shopping/town center. I am very clean, into hygiene and ALWAYS clean up afterward. I keep myself busy and active, but love to have a few drink or diner with flatmate(s) every now and then :-). Please sms me with your contact if you have a room and like what you read in my profile.
I am studying computer science and maths, and will be doing an internship with the Australian Signals Directorate. I am a really easy going and easy to get along well with. My hobbies include listening to music, gymming and boxing. I'm am a social person so I wouldn't mind finding some flatmates I can hang out with.
Hi folks! My name is Linda and I’m 24 and working full time in the public service. I have plenty of experience living in share houses. I love cooking and baking for friends and sharing a glass of wine around a trashy TV show. I am often playing social sport on evenings and am happy to hang out but also very respectful of personal space. Give me a buzz!
I am a professional working in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region looking for accommodation in the Inner South. I am looking for spacious, modern digs that let me ride more than drive. I am neat and tidy, and regularly cook. Prefer gas cooktop, wooden floors (to dance on), an en suite, light and sunshine, as well as keen for a lock up garage - wish list complete, reality is I’m flexible ;)
Hello future housemates! My name is Javs and I'm a full-time young professional working in the defence industry. I'm a healthy eater, and I like to keep myself active and social. I'm honest, responsible, and clean. I respect privacy, but it's also cool to kick it if we vibe. If we don't, that's cool too 🙂. I value open, honest communication and if there are any issues or problems I'd like to get those out in the open and sorted out. If you think we might be good housemates feel free to give me a call. looking forward to meeting you!
Current lease ends at January 22nd 2019, looking for a place to move in immediately after that > full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
I’m originally from Canberra and I love what this capital has to offer. I’m looking to move out of home and into a comfortable place in a great environment/area. I enjoy my solitude but loves socialising and going out and doing fun activities or going to cool events that are on. I’m currrently studying part time and working. Will be starting uni full-time next year @ UC. Happy to just hang out and I’m always down for a good d&m.
Hi! We are François (28, from Berlin) and (Gemma, 24, from Barcelona) we are about to move to Canberra for a year. We are excited about finding a nice and cool place to stay. François will continue his PhD in Biology at the ANU and Gemma will be working full/part-time and doing some art courses. François is originally from Southern Germany and I come from Barcelona (Spain). We are currently living in Berlin, where he is doing his PhD in Parasitology and I just finished my MA in Arts and Media Studies. We are both sociable, open-minded, easy going and enthusiastic persons who love to discover and learn new things. We love to be outdoors, travel and enjoy the cultural scene (music, art, cinema....). We would love to find a place where we can feel like home and we can create bonds with the people we live. We'd preferably share a house with other young people. The option of renting two rooms sounds also good for us. If you're looking for new flatmates please contact us. We'd love to meet you! :) Gemma and François
My name’s Emma and I’m looking for a home for my 16 month old daughter, Naomi and I. I’m a full time student working towards my year 12 and business certificate as well as looking for part time work. Would love to be able to share with another mum if possible 😊
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can-do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. I’m really looking to live as near to my workplace as possible so Braddon, Reid, Manuka, Kingston, Red Hill, Garran, Griffith are my preferences. $300/week including utilities is my maximum. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting early November (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
I'm a young professional moving from Queensland to Canberra for work. I love eating, drinking, socialising and meeting new people. I am a super easygoing housemate who will always be down for a beverage, loves a clean house and doesn't take offence easily. I also understand social cues, which in my experience, save lives. I'm happy to answer any questions, or have a quick phone call/skype/facetime if you would like, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
Hi I'm Kyle - Just moved to Canberra for work, from Christchurch (NZ). I work full-time in Fyshwick at a technology/engineering company, and often head to the gym or mountain biking outside of work. I enjoy meeting new people and I enjoy most things fitness/sports. Although being a kiwi I still have know idea what is going on during an AFL game (give me a few months...). I'm tidy, clean, and respectful of people I'm living with. I think I have a pretty good sense of humour and am always up for a laugh. I'm looking at short-term accom from the end of October through to roughly when my partner moves over from NZ (January sometime) and we move on to a 2-bd + place.
I'm back in Canberra (studied and worked here previously) after several years overseas. Got lots of good travel stories. Aiming to cycle to work at Black Mountain most days, like to be active, and usually out and about on weekends. Environmentally conscious, like my own space but also social and ready to have a chat. Ideal place would have (in decreasing order of importance): awesome housemate, carpet, sunshine, views, gas cooking. Love cats so that would be an amazing bonus!
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly and quiet housemate, as I'm looking to move around October-November this year. I would prefer to pay between $150-200 per week, and live in an inner south or inner north suburb (e.g. Kingston, Yarralumla, Griffith, Lyneham, O'Connor). I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan region. I am looking for a place that has air conditioning for the summer. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBT-friendly and open-minded people. My main interests are psychology, visual art and spirituality. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I have a partner who visits but never sleeps over. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm a bit of a night owl as well. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.
