I'm a super clean, pretty quiet Aussie girl who's friendly, kind and considerate. I moved last year from Queensland for the cooler life and I'm loving Canberra. I work full-time that includes 2 weekends a month so I'm generally pretty busy and independent. I'm also planning to return to uni part-time next year in the health sciences. I like to live a healthy lifestyle and am outdoorsy. I love cycling, hiking, water sports and snowboarding. I enjoy both sharing dinner in front of a movie or Netflix and time to myself to wind down or study so I generally go with the flow with what others feel like doing at the time. I'm certainly no big party animal and don't smoke. I have a flexible move in date and can adjust stay length for the right place and flatmate/s. I can also supply excellent references from past flatmates and landlords that show I've always paid rent and bills ahead of time and am one of the best flatmates around! :-)
Hi, my name's Olivia. I'm 31 years old and I work full time as a lawyer in the APS. I am a friendly, tidy and considerate housemate. I work pretty hard and go to the gym most days. I also enjoy reading and am trying to write a book. I'm a considerate, tidy and friendly flatmate. I am fairly independent however it would be nice to share a house with someone who enjoys a good chat in the evenings and who I could share the occasional meal or drink with.
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
Hi flatmates, I am looking for a new place to call home. I am graduated from Sydney Uni and now full-time working in the civic. Easy going, clean and would love to explore fun in travelling and the beauty in daily life. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, kendo, cooking, bushwalking and other adventures. Looking forward to meet you! Thanks Claire
Hey flatmate hunters! I'm looking for a flatmate to team up with to find a place. I'm also open to taking a room in an established place. You would be moving in with me, and a 5 month old Border Collie puppy called Pepper. I've lived in Canberra for the past couple of years, working in international affairs. Before that, I was overseas in the UK and Netherlands for a couple of years working with a human rights NGO. Don't judge me, but I'm originally from Adelaide. Being a proud dad to a Border Collie pup keeps me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm pretty active and love being outdoors - playing sport, camping, hiking, snowboarding (not always well!). I love watching football (round and oval ball), and binging on netflix. I've just finished season 4 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so open to suggestions!! What I'm looking for... Ideally I'm looking to team up with one other person to find a 2 or 3 bed place in the inner north or south. As I've got a Border Collie puppy, so I'm looking for somewhere with a reasonable sized (and fully secure) courtyard/backyard, which allows pets and a housemate who likes dogs. I'm willing to pay up to $300pw. I’d like to live in a house that feels more like a home, with someone who's keen to hang out and socialise, but who wont get offended when I occasionally look to chill on my own! I’ve got most of the necessary furniture - though anyone in possession of a washing machine and/or fridgewill be highly regarded! ☺ Give me a shout if you're interested in teaming up to find a flat, or if you think I'd be suitable for your current place! Cheers, Trystan
I am an easy-going 24 year old public servant working full-time in Barton. I'm fairly busy during the week but enjoy hanging out on the weekend. Hoping to find other fun young professionals!
I will be starting my Masters in International Relations at Australian Nation University during the second semester of July 2018. I am looking for a roommate that can share an apartment together! I'm an American who will just finish their B.A in Rome (I have studied there), so I am really excited to see what Australia has to offer.
I'm a Christian who is looking for another like minded person to share a flat. I've found it a challenge to move to a place where I don't have a sense of community, and am seeking to set up a flat-share with a community feel. I am clean, tidy, organised and like everything to have a place in the home. I'd love to share meals occasionally (or regularly if you're up for it). In terms of work, I'm a teacher and have been doing relief work for the interim, whilst I sort out a more permanent job. I am in the process of organising contracts etc for term two (starts in May). It's nice to have choice and know the schools, so taking my time has worked well. I have a range of interests, such as bushwalking, spending time outdoors, picnic-ing, playing board games, reading and drinking tea. I love tea, I come complete with tea, tea-cups and tea-pots. Yes, I drove them across the Nullabor in my pink bubble of a car. I enjoy cooking, and baking, and eating the results of such activities, particularly with a glass of wine in hand. I've recently moved to Canberra from Perth to be in the same city as my boyfriend, he works on a wind farm, which aren't really transportable. We don't want to live together before being married, but that being said, we have been spending quite a lot of time together.
Hi Folks - I'm Kiran Shetty moved to Canberra from Sydney and looking for a nice place to stay and call home. I enjoy meeting people and make new friends. Usually I'm busy on weekday's and weekends. I'm outgoing and usually keep busy with Gym, Yoga on weekday's and bush walk and anything exciting on weekends. I would like to spend time with flatmates on Cuppa or few drinks. I am a non-vegetarian, non-smoker, tidy, punctual and great at respecting house rules.
Hi there, I am Vishal. I am presently living in Greenway and looking to move out by April 15th. I am looking for a 1 room flat or a sharing house, however, having my own bathroom would be a preference. I will be working full time and would be seen in the house during weekends (though I like going away some weekends). I am also happy to share time with flatmate(s), having a couple of beers during weekends. I am a non-vegetarian, non-smoker, tidy, punctual and great at respecting house rules.
Hi. My name is Lucas, I'm 28 years old. I will be a French teacher at the international bilingual french school in Canberra. I am someone very quiet, who like to discover nature. I am usually working all the day, then do some sports in the evening and on the weekend, I would like to visit Australia. I don't really like big party. But I like to have fun with friends sometimes. I probably will rent a house near to the lake, 130m², very nice house. But I can't rent it alone. So I'm looking for someone interesting in. It will be 300€ per person per week. Or if you have a good offer to make... Let me know ! :)
Mature engaged couple looking for studio, granny flat, 1 bedroom apartment etc We are a public servant and a nurse and both study part time. Hi, I’ll move to Canberra for three months (06/28/2018 – 09/28/2018) for an internship and am currently looking for a furnished room in a shared flat/house for 200-230$/week incl. utilities. A little about me: I’m a 24-year-old student from Germany. As a flatmate, I am tidy, reliable, considerate and sociable. Due to my internship, I will be working full-time during the week and I hope to travel as much as possible on the weekends but I’m always up for watching a movie or cooking together. If you have a room available during that time or know someone who does, please contact me!
Hello Canberra, I'm from Germany and coming to Canberra to do an internship for 3 months, starting in July. I love traveling, meeting new people, sports, and I have a lot of experience of living in shared flats. I'm tidy, organized and don't smoke. And in my free time I would be up for a beer/wine/dinner with my flatmates ever so often. But I also respect privacy. The Yarralumla area would be the ideal location, but I heard there are not many regular flats available, so anything close to that area would be awesome too. Message me if you think I could fit into your flat or if you have questions :)) Cheers!
Luke and I are two high school mates that are looking to move into a share house together. Luke is looking to get some perspective living out of home in a share house, while my current share house is disbanding as the lease has come to an end unfortunately. We both work full time as qualified tradesmen (Carpenter / Painter) giving us good experience respecting other peoples property and space. We both like to socialise over a drink after work, but also enjoy our own personal space. We have a great group of friends we enjoy doing activities with, but are always eager to make more!
Hi All, I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment or a town house in or near North Canberra or Gungahlin. I’m 25 yr old working professional and like to go on trekking and do outdoor activities. I am an easy going person who likes to keep things neat and tidy and loves cleanliness. I love to cook and can prepare a good meal occasionally. I love playing cricket on weekends or just sit back and relax or go fishing. Please PM me if you have any available rooms or looking for team up. Thank you Happy to hear back from you. Cheers,
Hey all potensh future housemates. I am really keen to live in a large-ish (3-5 people) share-house. I suffer a hideous case of fomo. So if you're looking for someone who will always willingly tag along, third wheel, watch shit tv or have a beer, I am your woman. I am employed part time as a legal policy officer at Dept of Ag, so would prefer to live somewhere bike-able *comfortably* to the city. The other days I spend freelance writing. Happy to join an already existing sharehouse or team up with some people to find a place. My priorities are fun and friendships. My only house requirement is that my room has a window (pleeeease). Interests: Powerlifting, motorbikes, sport, banter, beerz and living in a fun household. The lease on my current house (Braddon) ends on May 15. If I find two other great people to move in, keeping this lease may be an option also!

Hello, I am an intern at the Embassy of the Netherlands, so I will be working 5 days a week. I am clean and tidy and I have lived with roommates before, so therefore know how to respect privacy :) I'm the most fun person you'd ever live with. I'm very social, I tell great stories, my specialty is cooking anything with cheese, but I also like to be by myself.
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Can move in anytime.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hi! I'm Alex, moving up to Canberra from Adelaide to start a grad job in the APS. I've just finished a business degree at Adelaide uni. I'm easygoing, optimistic and enthusiastic. I'm just as happy meeting new people or spending time with housemates as I am curled up somewhere with a book. I love cooking (pancake Sundays, omelette breakfasts, stew nights anybody?), comedy, hiking, markets, brunch. I also enjoy good banter, puns, camping and relaxed weekend cycling. In my free time I like to read, explore new places and travel - though coming to terms with only four weeks off per year might be a challenge! I'd love to share with interesting, relaxed people who are up for a chat and a glass of wine/bowl of food occasionally. I've lived in sharehouses before and am happy to do my bit to keep a nice home. I've previously worked as a dishwasher and a prep cook - would love somewhere with a good kitchen. I'll be bringing/buying some new gear, too. I also don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
