Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and I'm starting university at UQ in September. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
Hi, I’m a 18 year old student, studying at Yeronga State High School. I have lived share house in Tennyson, but I have to find another place. Because the owner’s family will move in this house. I would like to find a nice place for at least 6 months, even more, so not to move around all the time. It would be great to find a private furnished room in shared house. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else.
I'm a majority of the time clean, tidy type of person. Respectful of other's space and my own but do enjoy socialising from time to time with house mates (maybe a glass of wine or two). I love nights chilling at home and do have weekends out and about. I have a ragdoll cat who is friendly once she knows you and she mostly stays indoors unless the yard is full high fenced. I clean as I go, vacuum frequently, a non-smoker, and open and non-judgmental (expect the same). I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally, I don't want more than sharing with 2 other people. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, and bath tub (my relax time!).
Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly and always on time with bills. About me: Hi my name is Tammi and I'm either looking to start a sharehouse or join an established one before August when my current lease runs out. I am a clean and tidy person, where cleaning up after yourself in a timely manner and chipping in with the housework is an environment I like to live in. I like to recycle, try to save both water and electricity (which helps when bill time comes around) and keep the house maintained. I mainly keep to myself but am always up for a chat or a housemate dinner and drinks. I come with a microwave, PS4, TV, TV stand and kitchen essentials. I'm happy to chip in for new appliances and furniture if needed. What I'm looking for: Preferably I'm looking at living with a max of four people (with one bathroom per pair) and having a room with built in wardrobes that would fit a queen bed and a tallboy. A dishwasher is a massive plus. I'm looking at a max of $140 per week for rent and looking at living within 20km of the city. Southside is preferable, I'm currently living in Moorooka. I've been renting for years and am specifically looking for like-minded housemates my own age who are already housetrained, considerate towards others and also like a well maintained house. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions for me, want to arrange a coffee meetup or think I sound like what you're looking for. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Brazilian, student, tiny, quiet and looking for a place where I can improve my English e make new friends.
Hi! My name is Kesh, 25 years old. I am currently studying my postgraduate degree in Human Services at Griffith Uni and working as a part time in a local fast food place. I am clean and respectful of privacy and can also socialise. I play video games, watch TV and read books for fun. I don't smoke and party so I am the ideal housemate. I am looking for a place with a spacious room near a bus stop/station as I do not have a car.
We are two females finishing our masters degree at UQ and working part-time. We are both originally from out of town and will also travel home most weekends to see family or work!
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
My name is Mya, I'm 17 years old and i work casually. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful. I recently just completed a makeup course I'm looking for a nice place to live while I work and try to save money for the next 6 months to a year.😊
I'm originally from England looking for a place to live for the remainder of my visa (22/09/2017)! I'm very clean, have a full time job as a gardener and get along with 99% of people. I've travelled most of Australia and for my last period here I would love just to work and stay in a place until my time is up. All I'll be doing is going to the gym and working I think, with perhaps some crazy nights watching Netflix...
I am a quiet and friendly person. At the moment I am away for work from Friday to Monday, each week. I studyibg a Bachelor of Education at the Griffith University Mount Gravatt Campus, full time. I am also a very tidying and considerate person.
Hi, I work at Archerfield full time as a pilot. I am easy going and get along with anyone. I am neat and tidy and easy to live with. I like to socialise but don't mind keeping to myself at times too. I need a place around the 9th of August or just before as my lease runs out at Morningside. I want to move closer to work to avoid the traffic.
I'm 27 and currently studying Commerce/International Business at Griffith Uni. I spent the last 3 years living in London and I'm originally from country Victoria. I'm looking for a place that isn't a party house but housemates are sociable and allows me to be able to study easily
Hi, we are a couple from Poland, I am working as an engineer in Volvo Trucks Australia, while Karolina just finished her studying as a mechanical engineer. We are open to meet new people, to make friends and spend nice time with them. We are spending all free moments to explore Australia and to do something new. During the day we are very active, that is why we prefer quiet, peaceful places to take a rest during the night. In the work days we have to be in the Brisbane City, because of work, but we would like to spend weekends to travel around whole East Coast of Australia and try to surf. We will be more than happy to could meet you. For more information about us, do not hesitate to ask :)

Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
Retired serial killer looking for a new home, im a boilermaker, two months from being qualified. Currently living in a party house and need to have a proper sleep. I like doing morally wrong things because they feel oh so right. Keen on a fish and a bueg. Some call me a far right, it would be true but im not. Im pretty chilled out. I do suffer from bi-polar but that doesnt mean im a lunatic, you just might see me a bit sad or dissappointed in things more then other people. If i was anymore introverted id be inside out. Avid collector of ww2 german military equipment, dont worry, my prized bayonet and other killing tools are worth far more then your life. Im not a nazi either, fuck racism. Have a car, metalworking tools, a broken boat, mattress, tv, xbox and some other bits of shit.m Y current lease ends in november. Keen to live with people that at least half give a fuck about the house they live in and arent going to clog the showef drain with their pubes, peace out.
I'm a positive, open-minded, adventurous newbie to Brisbane! I've just moved interstate from Newcastle, NSW to start my master's degree in conservation biology at UQ. I'm going to be studying pretty hard, but will want to make time to get to know my new flatmates and explore my new home city! I like getting active outdoors, cooking and having a chat with a cup of tea or a good glass of red. I'm a tidy, considerate, fun person to live with. I would love to live in walking distance or a short public transport ride away from UQ's St Lucia campus. I adore animals and am happy to live with them, just not an indoor cat as I'm a little allergic to them. I have a place to live at the moment until the start of August. Would be happy to pay double rent for a little while to secure the right kind of place.
