I'm a very easy going bloke, tidy and clean. I've had a rather diverse life experience, having grown up in Cairns, studied in Brisbane, worked in Singapore for my first professional job in the landscaping industry at age 21. I moved from Singapore to Sydney for my first job as a Bush Regenerator in the Western Sydney region. I'm a well spoken individual who recognises boundaries and avoids contention. My ideal place has wooden features (esp. Floors), space, a nice kitchen, natural light and either a veg. patch or community garden nearby. Known for my chefery and humour, I love plants, gardening and animals. Exploring natural landmarks, food and just hanging out on the weekend/down time.

Recent grad, now working full time, introvert, nerd and looking to move somewhere near Woolloongabba/Coorparoo/Greenslopes, though I'm pretty relaxed on the location depending on the distance to work. Other than that, I'm super chill, don't mind the socialising around the house and won't be having any house parties. I also enjoy watching the EPL, bundesliga and liga BBVA.
Australian marine biologist 56 y.o and generally fun, fit and healthy. Easy housemate, good cook and relaxed personality. Away on the reef for field work about 1/3 of the time for 2 week stretches. Otherwise quiet, non-smoker, enjoy a social drink and dinner and lots of outdoor activities: swimming, surfing, diving, cricket and nature photography.
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
I am a 20 year old mechanical engineering student studying at UQ St Lucia. I am looking for a house close to UQ or Yeronga/Yeerongpilly, as I am a private tutor and my students live in this area.
I'm extremely funny, good looking and obviously modest. I have a pretty groovy taste in music and can grantee the house will never be without watermelon. I love vintage shops so the house will look like a hipsters wet dream (yes I have a lot of indoor plants and succulents 🌱🌿🌼) Just message me and I will answer any questions you have!
Moving up from the Gold Coast for work. Am extremely neat and tidy person. My partner lives in Keperra with our puppy so you will find me visit there a fair bit. I am into crossfit and being out doors. Not a massive drinker, however do like the occasional Friday wine. Am very easy going person and a great roomie :)
Looking for a room for a couple of months (November to probably January or Feb)
Hi I'm Caity & this is my partner Sam. I work full time as a digital/graphic designer and Sam is a Registered Nurse (works part time) and is also studying to become a paramedic. We cook & clean and are quite social when we're home, but don't want to live in a party house. I'm a vegetarian, but I'm not an arse about it - Sam eats meat and we're happy to hang out and have a shared BBQ or a quiet drink etc. Our dog, Buddy will be living with us so we need somewhere dog-friendly (fully fenced) where he can come inside when we're home. Happy to have another friendly dog sharing too!! We are both waiting out our current leases and are looking to move in December/January. Cheers! Caity
Me and my partner are looking for a new home with our puppy coco. We are both very clean and tidy, friendly and also like our own space. We are very quiet through the week and work fulltime and often away on weekends camping. Our puppy is medium size very friendly and soft natured, she will need a back yard or garden. Hope to hear from you :)
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).
Hi, I am from South Africa, migrating to Queensland in October. I am easy going, fairly private in general and love the outdoors and braai's occationaly. Will be working in Salisbury. Regards, Shane Domenski

My hobbies include a wide range of things that include sports such as tennis, soccer, football( NRL and union), mountain biking and motocross. I love listening to music everyday and play computer games in my downtime whilst indulging into way too much Netflix, but i guess that's the norm these days. I like having fun and good time with friends but also having my own personal time is amazing aswell. Looking for a place for $200 a week max with Internet and utilities included.

Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats, drugs and dislike the effects of alcohol (it changes people). I don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but i have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
I'm a down to earth, easy-going 25 year old guy who wants to meet some new people. I currently work for the council, full-time on the Gold Coast. I would love to find housemates I can get along with and have a good chat just as anyone does, but also enjoy the quiet times that I get to myself to just chill out. I'm looking in any suburb that's within the South Brisbane region. In my spare time I love to have a good laugh with mates, play games (video or board games, you name it) and sport (mainly volleyball). If you have a single room available above a bowling alley, and below another bowling alley, you have me sold since you are a Simpsons fan and we will get along just fine.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
Easy going. Clean up after myself. Im usually home at night and out all day. Independent. Consideret will be quiet in the mornings etc. Work in a panel and paint shop. From nz
I'm currently working full time as a teacher. I am a quiet and tidy person, who works week days. I'm open to socialising as a housemate as well as keeping to myself (a bit of both would be ideal). I'm interested in yoga, sewing clothes and drawing.
Quiet, respectful, enjoy own space, Gamer I am a driveshaft builder/balancer and mechanic trade assistant and yardie by day. Grew up in the sticks of Cedar Vale. Love my dirt bikes, cars and fishing.
I am a clean person who is generally working or gym training. So I wont be around much during the day. I do have a dog but it if he cant come he will still have a home elsewhere.
Hi there :) I'm a clean, responsible, professional working full-time. I don't have a preferred move in date as my lease finishes in December, but I'm interested in finding a good housemate so I'm starting the search early and will look to moving out when I find one! I am seeking an ensuited room in an inner city suburb so that I can walk to QUT Gardens Point from my home. I'd prefer a long term 1-2 year situation with the potential for a longer stay. I would prefer to find someone who intends to be there for 1-2 years also. I pay my bills on time, keep my house clean (currently I live alone and have done so for three years now) and like to spend my weekends out with friends, running errands and getting some sun! While I can cook, I am rarely at home at dinner time through the week (at the moment anyway) so week nights tend to be quiet. I tend to be pretty active and independent on the weekends also. I socialise a lot outside of the house and respect people's space so if I have people over, I'll check with you first and it's a pretty rare occurrence. I'd like to find someone similar. I'm open to male or female, responsible, mature, clean (I'm open to going halves in paying for a cleaner once a week for communal areas or spring cleaning jobs but I'm looking for someone who likes a minimal and very clean communal space), respectful and pays bills on time. I'd describe myself as friendly, independent, happy to lead separate lives and do my own thing but love sharing the occasional beer/wine, BBQ or DVD if my flatmate is like-minded. I'm happy either way. I have (and want to bring with me): - Bed - A gorgeous white, wooden, bespoke dining set (4 seater round) that I upcycled myself. Happy to reupholster the seat fabric to match décor and tastes. - Bookcases (I'll keep these in my room so I'm seeking a large-ish room) I will need about 3m of wall :D - Coffee pod machine - A few boxes of things - Electric piano (I'll keep in my room too). Also I don't play at night :) Headphones always on! I have other things (not necessarily needing to bring with me) like: - a sofa - coffee table - narrow pantry - cabinet on wheels for microwave (+ microwave) - fridge - front loader washing machine - clothes dryer - kettle - rice cooker - water cooler - some pots and pans, dishes, glassware, cutlery - small and large study desks etc. These are just things if you need them. I also have a friendly outdoor lady cat who is independent and ultra low maintenance so you probably wont even notice her there. I look forward to hearing from you, please feel free to ask me more questions if you think you might be interested.
Hi, My name is Takumi. I am a full-time postgraduate research student at UQ. I am working at PA so am looking for somewhere nice that is close to the hospital to move in when the current lease ends in November. As to sharing a house, I like keeping my house clean and tidy. I am a sociable and respectful person who enjoys both going out for drinks and coffees with friends and spending quiet time reading or listening to music. I also enjoy active life ad especially love playing and watching soccer and go out to play with friends every weekend. I am hoping to find someone like-minded so if you think you are please let me know :) Thanks! Takumi
I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'm not looking for a short term stay. Wifi is a must!
From Biarritz, South West of France, Basque Country. Come to work at The Brisbane Golf Club. Calm, Clean and tidy man, enjoy to meet new people from everywhere, like to have a great times with my friends. Hobbies: Nature, golf, surf, rugby, friends, skyruning
International Student born in Hong Kong raised in Vancouver, Canada studying at the University of Queensland for my Master of Physiotherapy. I have been a practicing kinesiologist for the past 2 years before getting in my program. I am tidy and very easy going person that absolutely loves the outdoors. I enjoy playing various sports especially basketball, but apparently netball is the more common sport in Oz.
Quiet but friendly, I enjoy my privacy but I'm also good for a chat. I'm a clean guy who pulls his weight around the house so I appreciate living in a clean home. I'm currently doing a PhD in Clinical Psychology, so I spend long hours at the uni. On weekends I'm usually outdoors. I'd say my long hours working is one of my best features. The best flatmate is one you barely see :)
Hi there! We've recently found ourselves roommate-less as everyone has jetted off to live their dreams in foreign countries. So we are looking for some cool roomies to join us on that journey that is life (eating ramen and attempting to cook but failing miserably). To convince you as to why you should choose us as the next Bachelor's (cool roommates), here are a few of our redeming qualities; - We are aspiring comedians (despite our complete lack of comedic talent and studying Business and IT at QUT) - LOVE to wash dishes - Great taste in TV shows and will watch anything you desire - Always up for a good time and some cheeky bevs - Just two students who spend a lot of time pretending to study - We have a Christmas tree that has been up all year for constant festivities - Will show you all of the cute instagram dogs we follow Our current lease ends at the beginning of February, but just to avoid complete stress at the beginning of next year, we are starting our search now. So if you're keen, hit us up and we can arrange to meet for some really awkward coffee. It'll be great.
Hey guys, i am a fun french housemate, organized and clean. I like good company but also my private space. I am a big fan of soccer, playing and watching (beer: must have).

Never did drugs. Don't smoke. I am also tidy and cleans up after himself. I work as a casual online tutor with a lot of savings - enough to last me till I graduate in 3 more years and start being an intern, so rents and bills are never a problem.

Hello! I'll be moving out to UQ in February 2017, on my final year to study Computer Science. Looking for possible flatmate(s) that are amazing, outgoing and fun to live with. While not writing lines of code, I travel to places across the globe and wrote it on my blog. I am preferably looking for a private bedroom with shared/private bathroom. Mixed/all-female gender house.
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
The house I'm in is going its separate ways and I need a room for my final year of my PhD - starting Jan 2017. I'm studying at UQ and I'm there during the week, just like a full-time job. I'm friendly, considerate and tidy, plus I'm not big into partying. I like everyone to be able to have a chat and get along - communication is key!
Hi, we're Gabby and Jess and we're looking for a third easy going person to join us on a house hunt! We both studied at UQ, Gabby has 6 months left of her post grad in Dietetics and Jess is starting a full time civil engineering job in Southbank. We're both really clean, chill, respectful, reliable and always up for a chat. We enjoy hanging out as a group but also appreciate the need for solo time. Always up for some fun on the weekend, whether it be casual drinks or a fun night in. We're looking for team ups for a 3 bedroom townhouse close to public transport, and both have cars that require covered parking. Hit us up if you want more info! :)
3d year full-time UQ student doing Education, night owl, not a party person, but board games and beer any day. No bad habits apart from sarcasm and sleeping till noon. Ok with pets and smokers, not ok with kids and people who don't know headphones exist. I have been living in share houses for the past three or so years so I know how to manage a bathroom cleaning roster and how to not accidentally eat housemates' food :)
Hi everyone :) I'm a quiet person, looking for an animal friendly place. I usually keep to myself, but I'm not against socializing. I'm known be be rather silly! I'm into art and technology. I love computers and video games. Dressing up and going to geeky conventions. I like making things - drawing, painting, sewing, knitting or any other random crafty thing I can think up. Binge watching anything to do with sci-fi and/or fantasy. :P I'm pretty laid back, not really into parties etc. Don't mind a shared meal or a drink once in a while over some board games. :) I come with a Jack Russell, Buffy, who wants to be your best friend. She loves people and other animals. If you have kids, she will wear them out so they go down for a nap! Also in tow is my tortie kitty, Siggy. She wants the cuddles (and food). Both are well behaved snugglemonsters! But wait, there's more! I also work with a wildlife rescue group, which means I take care of cute little furballs with built in pockets! Yep, that's possums! I rescue/rehab/raise orphaned or injured little ones until they are ready for release. :) I will be attending uni in the new year, to become a zookeeper/animal attendant. Please don't let this deter your judgement. The're pretty amazing! :D They're rather clean animals, and also are very clever and full of personality! I know it's a lot to ask in this crazy world we live in, but I'd be super grateful if there was an area where I could set up 2 cages. Either on the veranda or perhaps under the house if it's a QLDer style home? Pretty please? :) In return I can take you to a place where you can cuddle with baby roos and wallabies! :D
