Hey, im a mechanic. Moved up from the Burleigh Heads 2 months ago with my boarder collie bella, she is very placid and loves most other dogs. I keep to myself building my motorbike and taking bella with me every where i go. Not a big drinker or partyer, prefer to take bella hiking or to the beach on a weekend so won't be home that much. I do like to cook dinner sometimes, thai, curries or hearty roasts to share with housemates.
I am a Danish undergraduate student in computer science, going on exchange to University of Queensland for one semester. I also plan on doing an internship abroad, so depending on where I will get a position, I might need a room in Brisbane for one year. I am laid back and outgoing. I like to be around other people, go out and be active and do whatever fits the moment. Right now I have lived in a dorm with 22 people on the floor for almost two years, so I am used to live with other people. We share two kitchens and three bathrooms so I know how important it is to tidy up after yourself and make sure that there is space for everyone. I have been to two schools that are unique for Denmark where you live at the school sharing the room with one or two other persons, so again, I know how to live close with other people. When I am not studying, I like to hang out with people, playing games, chill in a park, go for a run or take a trip in the weekend. I like to do sports and have tried some different dances at my uni (swing, salsa and breakdance) and I have done capoeira for some years. I hope to be able to continue with some of it in Brisbane, but I also have a big plan to learn to surf and dive (I have to, I am going to Australia). I hope to find a place with some nice people (there are different kinds of nice), that I can do things with, so where I will live won't just be a place to sleep.
INTJ, introvert, love nights chilling at home, don't mind going out on occasion, quiet until I get to know people. I have a ragdoll cat called Eevie who is friendly but is a mostly indoor cat (I vacuum frequently so shedding will be minimal). Also enjoy a good glass of wine. I clean as I go, non-smoker. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, bath tub (my relax time!) and air con. Honestly been a while since I've been apart of a share house however I am mindful of others space and privacy, and I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally don't want more than sharing with 2 other people.
I'm relocating to Brisbane for a full time job in health care. I am a very neat and tidy person. I enjoy socialising but really like to have some independence and chill time after work and on weekends. Would prefer to have my own bathroom and unfurnished bedroom if possible.
Myself & James have recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. Hoping to find accomodation within a reasonable distance to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with our own bathroom. We are very neat & tidy people (we have rented prior so we do have a rental record with an agency), we do enjoy a bit of quiet time after work, I'd also say that we are an easy-going couple that can respect other peoples privacy. We love to socialise with friends & family, also going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekend. Our length of stay is pretty flexible the minimum would be 4 months, but most likely longer with the right housemate/s. If you think we could be suited as your housemates, feel free to message us :)
I like to be social wether its boardgames, sitting down for a meal or just watching tv together but I also like to keep to myself sometimes and just have some quiet reading time or what not. I have the most adorable little baby girl. I'm a massive geek and you will usually catch me watching anime or doctor who and such. I love to cook for others and can be quite creative and handy with diy projects too.
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
Easy going and social! Love a quiet drink or two over the weekend. Asides from that I Work and gym during the week. I have a very cute and friendly cat named Mikah who loves hanging out also.
I'm a master student at Griffith Uni and I'm 28. I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, clubbing, and snorkeling. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
Hi, I'm a native Australian, 26 years old, and work full time as a body corporate manager (I manage the financials and administration of large residential buildings). I spend most of my spare time reading, playing video games, or watching movies. I'm a bit of an introvert and I'm quiet but I'll still make an effort to get to know new people ;)
So I'm 24, clean and tidy with a friendly disposition and a sunny outlook. Originally from a small town, I'm looking for a place to stay while I go back to uni to study Speech Pathology. In my spare time I'm an artist with a love of colour and pattern, so I love brightening up my space with artistic flair. Quiet and respectful of others privacy, but not in an unfriendly way.
18 yr old uni student looking for a cheap place to stay for a year or so, looking for a place that has all bills and internet included. I'm super chill and don't do much besides drink with friends and go to uni :)) I'd idealy love to have roomies that are cool for me to have sleepovers and invites friends over. I work down south on weekends so won't be there most weekends especially nights. Please contact me :))
Boring Disclaimer: 150 per week is my absolute maximum, and it must include bills and internet. I am on Youth Allowance. If you can see this listing, I still need a home :) Basic Requirements: I am looking for a place with easy access to public transport, particularly between QUT Kelvin Grove and the Gabba/Annerley. No pets that shed, it seems to make my allergies worse. No smokers, no 420. Room needs to be mostly unfurnished, and be able to comfortably fit a double bed, desk, and room for clothes storage containers. Better things: I am studying a Master's Degree in Public Health. In my spare time, I go to a weekly D&D session, and also like to hang out with friends and play board games (cooler than Monopoly) . I also love watching stuff on Netflix, or streaming things like Archer, Rick and Morty, American Gods, Brooklyn 99 etc. I can knit and crochet, and sometimes I like to invite friends over to watch things while crafting. Looking for a house where I can hang out with my housemates and have fun, but also have my own space when I need to study. I keep late hours, but try to make sure that I keep the noise down.
Relaxed and laid back. I love to cook, especially for other people..so who knows, I might cook for you. I also clean up after myself and would expect others to do the same. I like a balance between being social and me time if I have work to do, or just want quiet time to myself. I am currently looking for a second job, and will be working mostly nights 6-7 days a week, so I don't think you'll see much of me to begin with! I'm not looking for a party pad either, but a do enjoy a night of drinks and fun from time to time. My move date isn't a fixed date, I only put a date because it told me to.
Im a student at Griffith, looking to live with people that are like minded in the sense that they are tidy, sociable and courteous to myself and other housemates. I enjoy gyming, cooking, watching shows and going out with mates. Interested in making some new connections in Brisbane.
I'm 27 and currently studying Commerce/International Business at Griffith Uni. I spent the last 3 years living in London and I'm originally from country Victoria. I'm looking for a place that isn't a party house but housemates are sociable and allows me to be able to study easily
I'm friendly and love to cook whenever I'm home, I'm a working student so during the day I'll be out campus, at night I'll be working and most weekends I'll be staying with my partner. I love to game and I enjoy occasionally having some friends over for drinks. I mostly keep to myself and am happy to share with pets so long as they are cleaned up after. I have a place already that I would like to rent, a cute semi furnished 2 bedroom townhouse located in Annerley along Ipswich Rd, electricity and water is included in the rent which is $350 ($175 each)
Hello everyone!!! My name is Marcella, 26yo, from Brazil. I live on the Gold Coast atm but i want to move to brissy because i study there. I am a student from England and will be moving to Brisbane for a year abroad studying at the University of Queensland. I will arrive on the 7th of July and will be staying in a hostel the week before orientation so that I can look for more long-term accomodation. I'm really looking forward to exploring Australia and am hoping to make the most of my time there travelling and trying new activities and watersports. I enjoy chilled nights in as well as meeting new people.
Currently studying fitness at Tafe. Enjoy gym and healthy eating. Clean and organized. Enjoy chats with housemates but also enjoy time by myself. Looking for people with the same interests as me.
- I'm very quiet. You will barely notice that im there - I have rented previously & have an excellent rental record - I work full time in a safe & stable job with normal hours so no coming & going at strange times. - My ideal weekend is netflix & a bottle of wine
Hi future mates! I'm Stephan, a French stud that pretty much loves laughing all the time! Positive person, I like sports, visiting, partying: basic stuff I guess! I'm tidy but not in a psychopath way! Also I love good food and therefore I love cooking too! What else? I guess we should meet first for inspection and see if we match! Cheers
Hi there, I'm a recently separated 52 years young male looking for a Granny Flat, Separate from the main house so iv'e got some privacy. Prefer non furnished but not that fussed, i have furniture in my storage unit which i would like to empty. It's nice to have your own things around you anyway. I work fulltime for Century Trailers, my position with the company is 'National General Manager'. We sell wholesale to over 70 trailer companies in Australia and I was employed to change the structure of the company to incorporate retail sales on a National level. I work long hours and only have Sundays off which i spend with my 11 year old Son. So, when i finish work and get home its pretty much shower, washing, bed then get up and do it all over again...you got it ...Ground Hog Day lol. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the right place, money is not an issue, it's finding the right place. At present i live in Brookefield on acreage but it's too far from work and my son, the traffic is a nightmare and i'm time starved at present and need to fix it. If you think you have the type of place i'm looking for then you can contact me at work. Hope to hear from you soon, regards, Darren
I’m a non-smoking, female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses and value easy-going, open communication. Although I hardly drink alcohol and prefer a relatively quiet household to relax in after all the outside activity, I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons) now and then. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident (West End/Highgate Hill) who's relocated back from Melbourne. I've worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently I'm studying a part-time Master of Environment. My interests include yoga, swimming, cycling, hiking, arthouse films. Seeking a non-smoking, quiet, pet-free household to share with 1 or 2 people (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. Move-in date flexible. References available.
