Hey! I am a newly minted Doctor moving to Toowoomba to work full time in the hospital. I have a contract for 1 year (with likely renewal) and am looking for 3-month or 6-month contract with a possibility of extending to 1-year 😊 In my spare time (if it exists) I enjoy playing social sports (futsal/literally anything), running, gym, rock climbing and hiking. My idea of a good time is reading, watching TV or going to a cafe with friends/playing board games. I will also be heading back to Brisbane often as my family and friends are there. I consider myself an easy-going and respectful person who is happy to talk but also values privacy. I am also tidy, easy to live with (lived with 26 other people for a year in Warwick - we all survived) and single (because apparently nobody likes couples). My dream flatmates are friendly, relaxed and okay with barely seeing me (depending on my work schedule)…oh and 9/10 pm bedtimes haha. Lastly, my ideal place would have a cat or dog (though it isn't a deal-breaker)! I would like to move in around the 12th of January 2020 (I am in America from the 14th of December to 10th of January). I will be in Toowoomba for a minimum of 1 year as I have a full-time contract with the hospital until 20th January 2021 (with likely renewal). I am more than happy to agree to a 3-month or 6-months contract to make sure that I fit in well 😊
This is my first house that was built last year, so is still super new! It is a big family house on a 1,100m2 block. It has a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space. Kitchen has good Smeg appliances - big gas cooktop, double oven and dishwasher. There's an alfresco area with a nice big fan outside and 8-seater outdoor setting. I'm looking to rent out my third bedroom. It is a standard size, has a ceiling fan and is close to the main bathroom, powder room and toilet. It has built-in's for all your clothes. It is unfurnished (photo shows a bed however this has since been grabbed by an existing housemate, sorry!) Washing machine in seperate laundry. (Old housemate has taken the dryer shown in photos) The only real negatives I see are that your car would have to be parked on the street/just off-street as the garage is full and just having to share the bathroom. Other than that personally I think it's a pretty good house! I'm asking for $160 a week which is including all bills. NBN internet included. If you are interested then you're more than welcome to come and have a look at the house!
