Bernardo
$300/week•23 year old man
Hi! I’m Bernardo, a 23-year-old software engineer from Brazil. I’m moving to Melbourne for my exchange program and I’m really easy-going, respectful, and tidy. I love cooking — especially meat dishes and barbecues — and I’m always happy to cook or share a good meal. I like keeping things organised and clean, and I don’t mind helping with whatever needs to be done around the house. I work and study most of the day, but I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, and exploring new places in my free time. Friendly, reliable, and easy to live with — that’s me!

I'm a postgraduate student at Swinburne, hoping to move closer to campus for the coming academic year. As an ambivert, I'd love to be friends and get to know one another, but will give you space and alone time whenever. I prioritise open communication with my flatmate(s), and try my very best to create and maintain a safe space to voice out needs and wants. I'd like to set expectations and create a simple schedule/rotation for chores before living together, so I'm looking for a flatemate that's willing to do the same! I like to have friends over every now and then (usually on weekends) but I'll always let you know in advance and am more than happy to discuss boundaries/limits. And if we all become friends, even better. Currently, I follow a pretty standard 9 to 5 schedule. I work from home once or twice a week, and also have night classes twice a week. I'm fairly accommodating so it shouldn't be a problem if you have a very different schedule, but I've only ever lived with flatmates with similar schedules to me so I'd appreciate the chance to discuss before living together!
