We have a spacious furnished master bedroom that comes with: - Double bed and mattress - Desk table and chair - Bedside lamp and tower fan - Built-in wardrobe The location of this apartment provides an easy access to: - Bell train station (right across the apartment) - Trams - Routes 86 and 11 direct to the city - Preston Market (15mins walk) - Ample amounts of restaurants on High St (10mins walk) - Woolworths Spacious living room with a wide-screen TV for all your entertainment needs, communal laundry, and fully-equipped kitchen. As I am the main tenant, I will forward the bills and they will be split evenly, this includes electricity, water, and internet. Note: ONLY internet is included in the rent.
Located just around the corner from Bell train station (4 minute walk) and trams 86 and 11 (10 minute walk). Big house with two couples inside and a single outside in the bungalow. Currently looking for someone to go into one the rooms inside the house, the person currently living in the room will be travelling overseas and will not return. This house has a really homely feel with a great heater/air conditioner, it also has a large back yard with a deck and a beautiful garden with a veggie patch. We also have two doggos (border collie and miniature staffy) who are very friendly and chilled out dogs. This is the most homely home you will ever get the chance of living in!
We have for rent a large bedroom, with a large walk in wardrobe and a bathroom very near your room that the other housemates barely use. This house has plenty of space with a large lounge and kitchen, massive outdoor yard and outdoor lounge / entertaining bungalow, a big vege patch and plenty of space for another car in the carport. We are constantly adding things to spruce the place up and will hopefully soon have a matted area out the back for exercising, a compost / wormfarm to reduce waste and help feed the vege garden, an island bench in the kitchen and a fire pit and outdoor furniture etc. We are currently in the process of getting the internet put on in the house and this would cost around $25 each per month. The house is only about 5 minute walk to the bell train station and around 10 minutes walk to the 11 tram line. Only 10 or so minutes to Woolworth's, High Street and top the Preston market so everything you need is only a hop skip and jump away. The vibe at the house is pretty relaxed during the week, we generally cook and chat, play a bit of music or watch a movie, doco or sport and are in bed relatively early as we both work full time starting pretty early in the morning. On the weekends we don't mind a beer or two at home but are always respectful of the space and other housemates. There's plenty of space in the outdoor entertaining areas for hanging with mates and having a beer (or wine or whiskey or vodka or tea or coffee or etc...) and BBQ if you want to entertain and we are in the process of getting a heater for this space. Looking for someone who lives a similar lifestyle to keep the chilled vibe at home but are happy to consider anyone provided the fit is right. PHOTOS COMING SOON!

Zenia and I have recently moved into this stylish, light-filled three bedroom townhouse in the thriving Thornbury neighbourhood. We are conveniently located close to parks, supermarkets, and public transport (High St and thus the 86 Tram is a six-minute walk away, and the train station about an additional four minutes). The house was recently built, so you get all the commodities of a modern home. There is a central bathroom upstairs, which is shared by two people, and an extra toilet downstairs. All bedrooms are naturally well-lit, and come with mirrored built-in robes. There is also a massive open-plan living room/dining area and stainless steel kitchen appliances, gas cooking, electric oven, and dishwasher. The open area then spills onto our lovely backyard. Other features included are: split ac systems in all bedrooms as well as in the living room (so no suffering through the sweltering summer nor freezing this cruel, chilling winter), polished hardwood floors, and separate laundry space. The room is available now, bond and bills are additional and split evenly. Your future room is unfurnished, however, we do have a queen size mattress that you can use if you like. The rest of the home is fully furnished, but we are more than happy to you bring any additional furniture to the common areas to make it a more homely.

Hi! We are moving into this cute house just off High Street in Thornbury. We are looking for someone(s) to take the largest room in the house. This room is huge - 4.9m X 3.9m. It would be well suited to a couple, but also a single. The house has recently been renovated, with a new kitchen and bathroom (with separate bath and shower!) and two toilets! It has an open plan kitchen/lounge, grassy backyard with shed and clothesline. It is near all good things Thornbury, including the new Thornbury Picture House, Carwyn Cellars, the 86 tram and Thornbury Train Station. It has heating, cooling and a dishwasher.
Hi guys! We've got a room available in our beautiful brand new townhouse on a quiet street in Preston. All the rooms have reverse cycle aircon (heating too) and you'd have your own bathroom (no sharing!) as well as a built in wardrobe. The room comes unfurnished, and some of the furniture in the rest of the house will be going with our flatmate so if you've got stuff you're welcome. There's also plenty of storage space in the garage. The house has a balcony with great views of the city, is well lit and sunny, and also has a little enclosed courtyard. We also have a dishwasher and an extremely reliable hot water supply. We're in an excellent location - 10 mins to the 86 tram, 15 mins to Thornbury Station, 10 mins to Woolies & Aldi, as well as great High St shops, restaurants and nightlife (Joanie's Baretto is a fave).
I have been living in Melbourne for the past year but I have currently moved back to NSW. I am looking to return to Melbourne ASAP as soon as I get a better job. I would prefer to live in the inner north or the city in a studio apartment.
I'm a second year Media and Communications student at La Trobe. I'm from a small country town on the border of NSW and Victoria and made the big move to the city a year ago. Have been living on residence but decided it’s time to move into my own space as I have outgrown res. I love watching the footy, occasional night out dancing and Netflix. I like keeping to myself, but also love hanging out with my roommates. I love meeting new people and being social! easy to get along with and am always up for a chat. I’m clean and respectful of other people’s space,as I know what its like to want your own! Shout out if you’d like to live with me.
Hi I'm Minnie, I'm 19, from a little town called Bellingen in NSW, moving to Melbs to study Linguistics from mid July 2018 and looking for a nice home for semester 2. I'm a pretty quiet and tidy housemate, have life skills such as cooking, cleaning and communication (plus alliteration). I'd love to be a part of and contribute to a considerate and cooperative shared household kind of thing :) Also, I've recently returned from au pairing in Italy, so I'm excited to start uni, and just enjoying being back in Australia (where I'd forgotten people say things like 'struth' and 'no wukkas'). - Minnie
Hello! I'm in the final stages of completing a now full-time bachelor of health science - naturopathy. I work part-time in an health food store, and sometimes in an office. Loving things extends to comedy improv, hiking, photography, exercise, escape rooms, podcasts, cooking, books and friends. My housemate credentials are some of the best you'll ever come across. Not only can I provide the house with expired health food, but I am also in possession of a fridge, washing machine, and general practical furniture things. I'm considerate, easy to approach, friendly, and can scrub toilets really really well.
