Hey my name is Liam, I'm from the Illawarra, lived in Sydney for a few years between trips overseas. I've been living in California and Mexico for the last year or so but will be back home in Oz for Christmas and ready to move back to Sydney in January. I teach ESL classes in the city. I enjoy surfing, swimming, traveling, cooking, movies, books, friends and fiestas. I'm an easygoing person, friendly, sociable, clean and tidy and reliable
Hi my name is Justin. I am a 51 year old market research exec and I work in the City. My work schedule typically starts early and some weeks includes evening work (moderating focus/discussion groups) so I won't arrive back at home until later in the evening. As I put in long hours during the week, weekends are for relaxing and visiting with one or both of my grown-up daughters. I like to keep fit and healthy so the average week includes time for the gym, and a hit of tennis, the Bondi to Bronte walk and/or a lap or two around Centennial Park. I am new to the flatmate game but I'm guessing that what makes a good flatmate is someone who is friendly and easy to get along with, carries their fair share of the housework, dishes etc, respectful of their flatmate's privacy, possessions and time and is an open and honest communicator when concerns or problems come up – all things I think I would definitely bring to the table. I must admit I am not much of a foodie so I tend to keep it simple. I am often out at meal times so tend to look after myself. Happy to share on weekends however and I know my way around a BBQ and can use it to whip up a mean swordfish steak, Indian chicken, or steak. As for furniture I am travelling quite light at the moment, so ideally I am looking for a space that is furnished but if it isn't I will buy what I need.
I'm looking for a room in a house/flat with clean, social and considerate housemates. I'm an easy-going, social and considerate individual who works in the Financial Services industry. I like traveling, philosophy, arts, films, current affairs, etc. I enjoy good food and wine, going out for dinners, and brunches with friends. Please get in touch if you have a room in my preferred areas or would like to team up to rent a house.
Hi I'm Jade, 26 and I'm ideally looking for a room in the eastern kind of area although I am pretty open as long as public transport is easily available. I'm originally from Essex, UK and here on a working holiday visa. I have not long completed my regional work (it was awful) and need a cute and comfy place to call home to enjoy my second year while I try to figure out a way to stay here forever. I will be looking to move in at the beginning of January when I get back to Sydney after a long holiday back to the rainy and freezing cold UK. Seriously though why am I going in December?! I'm currently working full-time in the CBD in administration and pretty much every day will meet with friends or attempt the gym straight from work. I'm a clean and organised (some might say a little obsessive) non smoker, part time drinker here to make friends as well as house mates. Peace. ✌🏼️
Hey, I'm looking for a place to live in a sharehouse while I study at UNSW for the next few years. I'm from Brisbane originally and I've been living in Sydney for almost a year now. I'm a friendly, clean and considerate housemate. If you think you might have something that suits me, please don't hesitate to send me a message. Cheers, Paige
I'm a friendly, funny, clean, considerate, outgoing person who has just recently moved from Kingston on Thames, England. I get on with anyone and can't wait to meet new people. I'm forward to exploring Sydney and Australia over the next 12 month but plan on staying in Sydney as long as I can (6 months+). Looking for a place as soon as possible, ideally close to or in-between Coogee beach and Surry Hills but also close to trains and bus stops, so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Joe
My name is Caitlin and I'm a 27 year old Primary School Teacher. I'm clean and tidy, enjoy cooking and being active. I like to be social and enjoy a housemates dinner and glass of wine, but understand that people need their down time so respect that. That being said, I am looking for a place which would feel like home, not people being hermits in their rooms. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and love the beach, sport and animals. Also love swapping travel stories!
Hi there! I'm an Architect by profession and coming to Australia as an International student for higher studies at UNSW, Kensington Campus. I'm really friendly, warm at heart & an organised person. I'm good at fitness & follow a healthy balanced routine. I'd like to travel and explore new places. I'd also do like to party & have great laughs with friends & drinks. I'm learning to cook and would be delighted to share my helping hand with fellow mates. I respect & allow privacy to others. I'm looking for an accomodation nearby to UNSW, Kensington. I would want a private room in a shared apartment. At present, I can afford $150-175/week (inc. Bills/water/Internet/parking). Please feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks
I am a 24 year old male, who has been in Australia for the past 18 months. I have been in Sydney since June 2016. I am looking to move closer to the beach, ideally away from my current location near the CBD. I plan to stay for 3 months, until the end of February. I work full-time, evening and weekends (for the most part). I don't want to write too much about myself, for the fear of sounding cliché. I would love to find flatmates that have the potential to become great friends, but I'm also happy to spend time alone. I'm tidy and respectful. And we're now feeling cliché. So I'll stop :P But if you have a nice, (ideally private) room near the beach, please contact me with further details :) I'm also open to any questions you may have. Your future flat-mate, Sean.

I'm currently working full time at Des Renford Leisure (as a lifeguard/swim coach) and studying part time at UTS (public communications - advertising). Hi my name is Armand and I'm a designer working in CBD. I'm looking for a room until new years, so if you could help me with that that would be awesome :D
I'm quiet, relaxed, friendly, and independent. House-trained, I've been living in shared households for many years and am very reliable. I live a health orientated life, and am a non-smoker who drinks only occasionally, usually a glass of wine with dinner. I enjoy good, wide ranging, conversations. As well as my work as a legal consultant and freelance lawyer I make art. After studying law, I trained as an artist at the National Art School. At the moment I am focusing on making large landscape drawings. I get around on a pushbike, do the odd bit of rockclimbing, meditate, and am doing some creative writing. I love living in households where there are no TV's. As a person to live with you will find me independent yet happy to share a meal and conversation. I am very respectful of other people's space.

I am a part-time student studying a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at UNSW, and have permanent work. I am looking for a place to live long term. I am easy going, sociable and clean. I am respectful of others and enjoy time to myself or with my friends. I am looking to live with like minded people, that are keen to live in a friendly, relaxed environment, but do not have issues with cleanliness. I grew up near Wollongong, so I enjoy outdoor activities, particularly surfing and bushwalking, so living with people that enjoy these would be a bonus (but not essential) :) I am looking for a private unfurnished room. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
I am a fun and low maintenance guy to live with. I am a young Australian PhD researcher at UNSW. I grew up by the beach in the Sutherland Shire, and am looking to move out closer to work in the Coogee/Randwick area. I love the beach, and love my sports - being a huge football and cricket fan, and like to keep myself active I'm neat and respectful, would love to live with people who are capable of being independent, though also would enjoy sharing in the occasional drink or meal!
Hi there! Olly and I are from England and recently moved to Sydney. We transferred here with my company where I work full time and Olly is currently temping whilst looking for full-time employment. My work hours are relatively long, I'm usually out of the house from 7am to 7pm. We both love the beach and improving our surf technique is high on the agenda! We enjoy eating out and going to bars on the weekend and chilled and relaxed evenings during the week. Olly enjoys cooking so we are more than happy to share dinners and BBQs with flatmates and friends. We're both very friendly and enjoy meeting new people. We also enjoy exploring so if we're not at the beach we're often out and about in Sydney on the weekend.
Hi, I'm a 40 year old male. Originally from Sydney, but lived (and worked) overseas during my late 20's and early 30's (in a lot of countries including an AUSAID posting in the Solomon Islands for 1 yr). Did financially well in the game and was able to leave early, to pursue my passion in studying maths, engineering and technology. I've lived in quite a few share houses, so I'm house trained. I think that I'm considerate of others. I'm super busy with my work, but I'll make the effort to be approachable. I'm looking for a quiet, considerate individuals who are getting on with their lives. If this sounds OK then maybe we can explore the potential further. Thanks.
Hi I'm Tess, a management consultant in circular quay. Looking for somewhere to stay from November 26th til February 5th. I'm a tidy and clean flatmate, and for fun I love to chill to music and hang with friends. Message me if you have a room and you're keen to hear more about me!
Hey I'm working full time in the eastern suburbs. I often work long hours but love to unwind on my time off cooking with a nice glass of wine. Love to get out and about at the weekend and catch up with mates. I'm quite easy going and do like to be social but don't want a party house. Ideally like to find a like minded housemate or somebody that wanted to start a share together maybe..
Hey, I'm Hayley :) I recently relocated from Perth to be closer to friends and family. I work as a Personal Assistant at KPMG in Barangaroo. I am a happy and chilled out person with a sense of humour and love sharing a Netflix binge or some reality tv viewing with my flattie(s). I live a balanced lifestyle, love Pilates and Yoga, cooking and eating well. My weekday evenings are very chill and my weekends are usually spent at the beach, with friends or seeing live music. I am independent but social and love a big night out every couple of weeks but also love my down time. I enjoy living in a nice place that I can make a home. I am organised, house-proud and extremely clean and tidy - probably the best housemate around :) I am flexible with move in dates as I am looking for a long-term home and would prefer to wait for the right place / people. Location would ideally be in walking distance to the beach and public transport to the city. Ideal housemates would be good people with similar interests who enjoy a glass of vino and some banter and like to share an occasional meal. I come with bedroom furniture (currently in storage) but happy to contribute anything needed for a new house if need be.
Hi, Im Bre, a 35yo Professional, Hard-working Female. Looking for a large room, would prefer own bathroom but not essential. I work long hours but looking for somewhere quiet, down to earth and relaxed. Love the beach and harbour, so its proximity may be handy also but not essential. The only catch is I need undercover parking for a car.
Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm from Sweden, currently living in Stockholm. I will be studying communication design in Sydney from February 20th for 2-3 years and I'm looking for a place to stay. Easy going, clean, love music and to share a meal but equally happy doing my own thing. Love the outdoors, especially the ocean, and new pals, and a bit of cheesy Tele every now and then. Have a cat (dog) - truly more dog than cat, a Burmese. He loves all people, super friendly :)
So I'm making the move from Christchurch, New Zealand to Sydney for a job opportunity with the bank I work with. I'll be working full time in the city Mon-Fri. Likely to work late a few nights a week I thoroughly enjoy a healthy amount of banter and am capable of providing it whenever necessary. Not a stranger to a beer, my arm is easily twisted when it comes to sharing in an after work beverage. I like breakfast food, Netflix and motorcycles... not necessarily in that order or limited to those exact things.... Keen to meet new people and make the most of it, so get at me if I sound like your type of flatmate Not looking for a place that's smashing out a slab a night and blasting tunes till 3 am, but don't want to end up somewhere with flatmates that lock themselves in their room the second they come home either. I'm tidy, polite and have a good sense of humour, so if I sound like your type please get in touch -- Moving to Sydney around 22/11/16

We have recently moved to Sydney, found full time work and looking for a more permanent home near the city to base ourselves. We don't mind sharing a room if it is private. We are both very clean, tidy, sociable and respectful. We both like to relax and go for drinks and dinners at the weekends, but tend to go to bed pretty early in the week so fresh for the early mornings.
