Hi guys, I am an exchange student off home, and looking for someone to continue my 12 month contract! I have 3 super friendly flatmates and am a 2 minute walk away from QUT! The flat has an awesome atmosphere, great for exchange and local students. The property also has an amazing terrace area and large communal kitchen and living area. Gym and communal areas for example BBQ and TV areas are included in the rent. Great location for Kelvin Grove QUT campus, however quick free shuttle bus ride for students to QUT Garden point campus.
Iglu is one of the leading student accommodation providers in Australia. One of the most significant benefits of living in Iglus is that Iglu hosts various events in each month to help new residents or students to meet people and make friends. Visit their official website for more info about KG Iglu. I have been living in Iglu for 8 months and is finding someone to take over my room for the remaining 4 months of the contract. The benefits of taking over my contract instead of signing a new contract with Iglu are: - 2018 rent fee for my room is $259 with only 20gb of wifi per month (I guarantee you it's not enough!!!). The $259 that I am offering include UNLIMITED wifi. - U can see this as a trial of Iglu instead of being tied to a long-term contract. - I will clean the whole house thoroughly before you move in rather than leaving you a dusty room to start off with which I have experienced when hiring the room directly from Iglu. Facilities include: - UNLIMITED Wifi - Security & 24/7 onsite support - Cool events program every month - Study rooms - Social spaces with TV, table tennis, snooker pool, video games, board games and kitchen - Gymnasium - Outdoor Barbeque stove - Onsite laundry facilities (washing and drying machines) - Bicycle storage area * Common areas, study room and gymnasium have air conditioner
Iglu Kelvin Grove Good location in KG, QUT is a road next to the apartment, 2 minutes to QUT shuttle bus (free bus for students), 3 minutes to woolworth and many restaurants in Kelvin Grove Village. 249 per week and it includes everything(bills, unlimited internet data and full furnished)
A great student lifestyle also lies on your doorstep – shops, restaurants, cafes, fitness and bars – so you don’t need to go far to get your dose of entertainment. If you want to go further afield, it’s only a 10 minute bus ride to the Brisbane CBD – where you can easily access other cool neighbourhoods like Fortitude Valley and New Farm. On weekdays, QUT runs a FREE shuttle bus to its Gardens Point campus in the city, so getting out and about is easy. - As some girls will stay living there, and only two moving out, kitchen, living and balcony are decorated and all furnished, as well as a microwave oven in the kitchen! - Location straight across the road from QUT KG, with busses running to GP campus constantly. - Bedroom on third level of apartment buildings - 2 minute walk from: Woolworths, dentists, restaurants - 2 study rooms, as well as common areas (Wii, pool table, large kitchen, flatscreen TV's) - Weekly events hosted by Iglu - RAs to take care of residents - An onsite laundry and bicycle storage - In-house gym, study areas and e-library - Outdoor spaces with BBQs and much more!

I work at the airport part-time, sometimes working full-time hours so not always home. I am clean and always tidy up after myself. I'm easy going and always down for an afternoon drink or chit chat. I'm flexible with room space but would prefer the bigger room due to furniture. I referee on weekends but also like going out for a well deserved drink with mates, however won't disturb you at three am like most other party animals, I know what its like so I respect that. Looking for a good bunch of flatmates with the same level of ease and respect for the house and for each other's space.
I am a full-time student at QUT at both the city and Kelvin Grove campus! I am about to move out of student accomodation, so I have lived in a shared house before. I am clean, tidy and very easy going. I love socialising and partying, but I can also be quiet and respectful for a quiet household, especially due to studies. I am really easy to get along with, and I am keen to meet new people and friends! I am from the Gold Coast, and I'm not too keen on commuting or catching the train :/ So I am looking for a roommate or roommates to find an apartment somewhere in Brisbane!
Arrived from Brazil in June 25th and I’ll study in International House. :) Very happy for this experience. I’m looking for a calm place, that I can focus on my studies. I’m not a party girl, so I’m looking for share a home with people with the same profile. I hope to find it soon. Bye bye, Mirella :)
I am a fun, loving and easy going girl who likes to mingle with people and likes to keep her place neat and clean. I am looking for a all girls flat/house for shared accommodation or private room.
Hi !! I am Jone , 21 yrs old. I am a student from India studing my next semester in QUT, am super friendly , easy going and trust worthy. I am looking for a place to stay somewhere near University
I’m quiet, clean and tend to keep to myself at home. I’m always up for a chat over a coffee or a bottle of wine. But most of all; I value the respect of privacy and personal space. I’m a health care worker Monday to Friday, so I’m usually busy through the week. And on weekends I’m out and about on some adventure. Always up for brunch.
I’m Erika and I’m a student from Sweden looking for a place to stay in Brisbane during my internship at QUT for one semester. I’m currently doing my master’s in biotechnology and this coming semester will be the last one before I’m done. I’m a very outgoing person and I love to be active and hang out with friends. I would love to get to know everyone in the apartment and hopefully we can hang out as friends! I also respect and want personal space and prefer a tidy living space. My greatest passion is to dance, which I will try to do when in Brisbane, and chilling on the beach, go to cafés or just taking walks exploring the city.
Hey! I'm looking to start a share house or potentially find the right fit in a house....I'm a full-time secondary teacher and I have a little dachshund (sausage dog). I'm a very responsible pet owner, I always make sure Billie is cared after, rarely leave her at home by herself. However, a fellow pet lover would be great! I'm fairly laid back, easy to live with. Can pay bills on time and I have great rental references, so getting a house should be quite easy! I'm looking to share a house with maybe 1 or 2 people - something with a yard for my girl Billie would be great. I work in Camp Hill area, however I have always lived on the North side of Brisbane. I would be open to anywhere in those two areas. I'm fairly social, most weekends I like to have drinks and be around people. Would be great if I could find someone who might be keen to join in and have some fun on the weekends. During the week I am generally pretty quiet, planning lessons, cooking dinner and the odd work out. Really looking for a home that is social and friendly, don't really like tip toeing around people. I like to come home and have a beer and some wind-down chat. I am fairly clean (not a clean freak), but I like to have the house looking presentable. I have a bit of furniture and appliances....a fridge, dining table, microwave and washing machine. And down the line could probably buy a couch. But possibly someone with furniture might be good! Thanks Hayley
*Note: I have a cat, so the place has to be pet friendly* I'm super chilled and laid back and spend most of my time either listening to music (music is my life) or bingeing Netflix shows, when I'm not studying. I'm doing a Bachelor of Science at UQ. I go through phases where I do heaps of art and crafts. I'm a little bit of a hippie in many ways. I'm LGBTIQ+, I don't really put a label on myself, I'm just definitely not cis-gender or anywhere close to straight. I hate cooking with a passion even though I'm great at it, but weirdly enjoy cleaning (except dishes and sometimes vacuuming). I love all animals so much...except crickets, they scare me. In fact, I have a cat and 5 snakes (which all live in locked enclosures and have never escaped). I enjoy a healthy debate and intelligent convo, but also like just dishing about life. I like to drink but I'm not a party animal anymore, though I don't mind if you want to throw a party/ have friends over, I'd just either join in the fun or chill in my bedroom if I'm not feeling social. Personally I usually just have one or two friends over for drinks. I'm currently single and I'm a smoker sometimes. And I think that pretty much sums me up. If you have any questions, fire away. Oh also, I'm eligible for NRAS properties in case you want to team up.
I’m Kiela and I’m a full time uni student studying ultrasound at CQUniversity in Brisbane. I’m in my second year but have taken a semester off to work full time as a medical receptionist. I love to dance but prefer a night in watching Netflix, eating pizza and chocolate. Mitch is 21 and is also a full time uni student studying Biology and environmental science at QUT Gardens Point. He is in his final semester of uni and has a postgrad job already lined up. Mitch loves to fish and to have a beer or two. We’ve been together for 4 years and are both lovely people who get along with everyone. It would be great to share with people who love to catch up and have a bit of a chill with.
Heya! My name is Maddy :) I'm looking to move in somewhere around the city as I study on the southside but work on the northside. If I'm not at uni, I'll be more than likely working so I'm honestly rarely ever home. But I do love hanging out and socialising with my housemates. I'm a bubbly, caring and clean person. I enjoy adventuring, artsy stuff and cooking in my free time. Hope you have a great day!
I am a fun loving 3rd year physiotherapy student from Townsville and am looking for accommodation while I am doing placement at the Royal Brisbane Woman's Hospital in Herston for 5 weeks. I am into sport and fitness and hanging out with friends. Interested in anywhere that is easy to get to RBWH in Brisbane area.
