Hey there potential housemates :) I'm currently looking for a room, or to team up, with likeminded people. I'm 26 (turning 27 in a couple of weeks), working at JB Hi-Fi in sales, and studying my full real estate license with the intention of making a move into the real estate industry. I actually have a trial period at an agency beginning on 14 February. If I'm successful then I'll be employed full time in real estate! Anyway, a bit about me - outside of work I enjoy playing indoor football/futsal, I've been trying to get into a consistent habit of going to the gym and eating healthily, I love playing with my dog and taking her to the beach/for a walk (she won't be coming with me though), and exploring Brisbane of a weekend. I think a living environment where you sometimes make food and eat with your housemates, can have open minded chats about anything, and occasionally do things together on a weekend makes for a great experience and atmosphere. But I do also understand that everyone has their own busy lives and commitments. If you have any more questions or would be interested in discussing anything, please feel free to drop me a message :)
Hello guys, we are Caro & Tobi, a German couple looking for a cozy place to stay in wonderful Brissie. I am starting a PhD position in Engineering at QUT by the end of July and Caro will be working full-time as a HR professional. We are looking forward to starting our little adventure in Down Under and who knows, maybe we will be flatmates soon! :-)
Hi :) Myself and my partner are both from Scotland. We moved to Australia in mid March 2019. We had been living and working in New Zealand before this. I am a nurse and my partner is in the flooring industry. Our current plan is work while enjoying some of the more local and nearby sights to Brisbane as we are returning to the UK in August this year for a wedding (so need to save up a bit). We would be happy with accomodation up until this point but would also be happy with option to keep a place on for us to return to after our trip. We enjoy travelling and going out but also are quite content with quiet nights in watching TV and cooking dinner (which we frequently need to do due to early starts with both our jobs). We have flat shared in for the past 14 months with another couple in New Zealand so we are aware of the importance of respecting what it means to be in a shared place with other people. Would consider sharing with another couple or single people.. no particular preference (would prefer not to share with more than 2 as I require to work nightshifts and need to sleep during day and shaing with multiple people often makes this a bit more difficult). My partner uses a large van for work so we need to take this into consideration when finding a place due to parking requirements for this - street parking/driveway is probably best as most undercover parking has a height restriction and we need something with atleast 2.4m clearance (boring but true :D)
Looking to call someplace home. I am a student and work part-time at a bakery. Currently caught between balancing the two. I keep to myself but also enjoy sharing over a cuppa!
We are a pair of two girls - Tash (21, Student Nurse) and Kat (27, TV and Content Producer) who are pretty laid back and like to keep things tidy and fun. We are coming from a house of 4 girls who were all really close. We like to go on little weekend adventures, random drives, go for a drink at West End, watch a doco or MAFS together or spend some time at a festival/live music. We're looking for a third to join us who is neat and tidy, likes to have a chat and grab coffee on the weekend and just hang out. We're looking for an outgoing person with hobbies and interests that we hope to become close friends with as well. Honestly, we're really just looking for someone who can help us decide what to watch on netflix. Serial dish soakers and snack stealers need not apply!!!
I am studying a master degree at QUT Gardens Point. I'm from the Philippines. I am looking for a flat where can I stay at least three times a week.
Hello! My names Kieran and I'm a super easy going person. I work a fair bit but don't study so I usually have a bit of time off. I enjoy skating, gaming and socializing in my free time and most weekends. I speak fluent French and would love to live with some social people. I'm super flexible on what I'm after and can conform to most living situations as long as we all get along. If we have similar interests that's bonus but regardless I'm sure we'd get along!
I am a tidy sociable girl who also enjoys a little quiet time. However sociability is a big thing for me and I love making new friends and meeting new people. I am respectful of others and I am polite. I love a good laugh and I am a happy and positive but realistic person. I really enjoy card games and group activities. I have a wide variety of interests and am a very open-minded person. I always pay my bills on time. My length of stay is flexible and I am looking to stay from THREE to SIX months depending on the weekly rent. The move in date is also flexible. I am looking for a private room. I would love a mix of guys and gals to hang with :) I am currently a student studying full-time at QUT and working part-time.

ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, -Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 22 turning 23 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane Australia. I have been living out of home for 1 year now and this would be a personal accomplishment for me :-) I have learnt a lot about sharing costs, sharing space and delegating cleaning tasks. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under :-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
I'm a PhD student at QUT and looking for a place within walking distance to QUT Gardens Point Campus. I'm a quite tidy and easy going person and I like socializing with friends in my free times.
Hey I'm Matthew I'm an electrician from England, I'm looking for a private room and would like to live somewhere fairly close to the CBD. I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others and easy to get along with. I will be working full time during the week and spend the weeknights at the gym or chilling out, but will be out drinking and exploring at the weekends and would like to live with a close group of housemates who hang out together. Hope we can be housemates, Feel free to ask anything else. Thank you Matthew Edit
hi all, im loui. im fun, energetic and flexible. i work full time so i enjoy my downtime and value it very much but im equally happy spending it chatting over drinks or listening to music by myself. i like the odd visitor and bit of music, i also love to cook and clean but im not a dick about it all.
I m easy going person, love music, sport, history, life in general. Really curious and here to improve my English.
I am easy going, I like to have fun and socialise. I am clean, considerate and quiet. I enjoy music, travel, art and plants. I work full time at a plant nursery on the Northside, which I love! I grew up in Shorncliffe and my parents still live in the area.. I’m keen to live in a sharehouse with relaxed vibes and people. Make new friends and go about the days with little drama. I keep it chill on school nights. Weekends I’m out and about and usually find myself at a gig or two. While I enjoy my own space, I’m also down for chats with a vino :)
I am a 19 year old girl from Norway, which are moving to Brisbane in July to study at UQ. I am very hardworking, tidy and highly value clean surroundings. I am also very outgoing and love being around people, but at the same time I appreciate some personal space. Even if I really like to focus on my studies, I very much enjoy going out for a drink (or ten, haha) on the weekends with my friends. Main hobbies include going to the gym, staying active, go out traveling and discovering new places and hang out with friends. I am really looking forward to meet new people and gaining new friends so my new life in Australia can be as great as possible! ( I would really love to live with people around the same age as me (18-23), and I am also open to live in most suburbs) If I seem suitable for your property/accommodation I would totally be down for a chat!
I'm a fresh student from Sydney who is going on to study at QUT. Looking for a place to stay for the duration of my study but also to make new friends and gain new experiences. I like to watch dramas and knit, but most of the time I would probably be sleeping or working if I get the chance. I'm a quiet and tidy individual who likes to have chats once in a while. Looking for a private room that is fully furnished in an all female place.
