In my free time, I like to go to the gym, hang out with friends, go to a new cafe or restaurant, watch movies, listen to music and explore nature. My passion is travelling around the world. I’ve been to many different countries, so I love trying new things and talking to many different people. Although I sound extrovert, I am actually a mix of both. At home, I like to stay in my room and relax, but of course, I like to keep a good relationship with my roommates (watching movies, cooking together and sharing our days etc.). Hi there. I'm Eline, a transwoman studying a Masters of Information Science at Curtin University, hoping to become a librarian. I work night shifts part-time so will be arriving home late with some regularity. at those times I'll respect your space/environment and keep quiet. I'm fairly introverted and keep to myself most of the time but am always looking for more friends. I'm moving because my new housemates aren't very clean so am looking for a place that keeps the common areas nice. My favourite thing to do is make a coffee and curl up with a book, so I'm fairly quiet. The only disturbances I might make are late-night showers, cello practice and 10 minute vocal exercises (for speech therapy). The latter two will always be done at a reasonable hour. As for likes, I love studying, cooking, writing music and reading. I'm a bit of a hermit but am trying to put myself out there more, it's not something that comes naturally to me. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes get overwhelmed, at those times I'll need space but I'll just retreat to my room and manage that myself. I've stayed with family for a month now but they're leaving soon so I need but also want to find my own place. Brisbane has grown so much on me so l'd love to stay here for longer! I have tons of things I like, including snowboarding (which I can sadly not really do here), fashion, hikes and nature, science, art and reading, exploring new places and travelling. There is not a lot I don't like, and i'm always down to learn about new things and explore new hobbies! I see myself as a very flexible person, and very easy to get along with. I love meeting new people and hearing about their lives and what they've been up to. I'm also very tidy of my own place, and usually prefer to keep everything clean and tidied up. Although I can be very social, I also value my own space, and I am very flexible around people and what dynamic they need at any given moment. Whether thats space, a chat or some advice. :) Back home l've just finished a year of biomedical sciences and a year of medicine, while working at the local hospital in the cleaning department. I've been wanting to travel for a long time, and thought this year would be perfect to explore the other side of the planet. I'm looking for a place in Brisbane that I can stay at for at least 4-6 months, possibly longer! I'm very flexible with what I want, but preferably I'd have my own room, a shared kitchen and living room, nice and very social roommates, maybe a little garden and a place I can call home for the time being
