I'm a pretty chilled person to live with; I'm tidy, respectful and generally pretty quiet (apart from my motorbike). I work full time as a paralegal so I'm out of the house weekdays between 7.30am and 5.30pm. I enjoy motorcycle riding, painting, patting doggos, beers...pretty much down for any fun activities/adventures. Ideally looking for a place by early September. Hit me up!
My names Zac, and I'm an alcohol-.....oops, wrong place... ;-) 23, low maintenance, good-humoured, tidy, and independent. Seeking pet friendly accommodation, as I have a husky & husky x collie. Currently do Remedial Massage, and part-time study (4 months left). In my spare time I read, paint, workout, go out etc.. Non-smoker, social drinker. Overall, I'm very chilled, go with the flow type. I also have an uncanny knack for receiving Draw 4 cards while playing UNO, so you could say I'm pretty lucky.
The house is close to the CBD (1 zone on bus, $8 uber woo), Woolies and bottleshop down the road, QUT KG, and public transport. Laundry includes washing machine and drier. Kitchen is gas stove, electric oven. Unlimited cable internet. Balcony and tiered backyard.
Single room in a 3-bedroom house, furnished with double-bed and 2 shelf sets (for a sweet price to be agreed if you are indeed interested). Parking spot on the street in front of the unit. The house is located 16-min walk to QUT(Kelvin Groove), around 4 km from the CBD, very close to bus stops for 379, 380, 381 and 373 buses. Aldi and Woolworths are about 1.1 and 1.2 km away. Very quiet spot, not a party house, although we appreciate people who like to hang out together and interact. The electricity and gas bills are equally shared every 3rd month, internet is paid on a monthly basis ($70 divided by 3), bond is four weeks rent. The room will be available from 20/08 onwards.
We've got a room for rent in our big 4 bedroom house in Red Hill. Close to Paddington and just 3km from the city! There's a bus stop just around the corner and there's plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The house is 2 storeys, with a large kitchen and dining room, an airy living room which opens out onto a private front deck, plus a room and laundry downstairs. The house is at the bottom of a quiet street off Waterworks Rd, with a beautiful leafy outlook. We also have unlimited TPG wifi connected. The bedroom is unfurnished, but easily fits a Queen size bed and dresser drawers and it has large built-ins for extra storage.
I spend most of my time studying towards my MBA, building my digital marketing business & finding new networking opportunities ... I'm working for myself from home 3/4 of the time. I'm a sociable introvert ... like to keep my space clean & tidy, I'm mature but not up-tight, don't take myself too seriously & still know how to have fun. I'm quite open and happy to chat, but also like time by myself & looking for a similar housemate. I'm also hoping to find a nearby gym, if you have any recommendations or in-house gym even better. If love drama or you've got crazy relatives, friends or ex-partners ... I'm not your person, I don't do drama or BS! I do like a drink or 2 occasionally but not interested in a party house. Non-smokers only pls. Mature or 30yo+ preferred. Overall ... I am very down-to-earth & easy to get along with, If you have any other questions please ask. I have a bed & smallish desk but flexible if furnished, & in need of wardrobe space. Good internet connection with unlimited data essential. Off-street parking & ensuite preferred.
NO BOND REQUIRED ! Room is AVAILABLE Sunday, 20th of August 2017. This massive 3 bedroom apartment at the top of Red Hill comes with stunning top-floor city views. Welcome to the chill out zone! The complex is nice and quiet and we're lucky to be surrounded by fantastic neighbours. We'll share a balcony with impressive panoramic views that stretch all the way from the Brisbane CBD, across Paddington, Milton and Rosalie, Toowong all the way across to Mount Coot-tha and beyond. Public buses run from stops located almost right outside the apartment complex with buses going out to the gap and inbound straight into the city. If you're like me and walk, it is less than 2km to the CBD door to door. There is a 24 hour 7-11 convenience just a short walk away and heaps of restaurants within walking distance as well as the Normanby which is very close to here. The room up for rent includes the following : * The larger bedroom - opens to the balcony. * A large walk-in wardrobe. It is huge. * A surprisingly massive amount of storage space. * Ducted Air Conditioning through the apartment. * 100% Furnished apartment. All appliances sorted. * Free ADSL2+ Internet included. * Heaps of off-street / guest parking spaces. I currently live in the apartment so it can be inspected any time, feel free to contact me. I work locally and can meet you during work hours if necessary. There is ample guest and resident parking off-street as well. No couples sorry - tried that and it doesn't work.. No Pets allowed - lease condition.
Hi guys! I'm a friendly, considerate, tidy and easygoing student looking for a room not too far from UQ St Lucia. I'm currently completing my dual Psychology-Arts degree whilst working part-time. Always up for a chat and a laugh but also very respectful of others' space and chill time. In my downtime I enjoy music, art, dancing and good food! If I sound like someone you'd like to share a house with, I look forward to getting in touch! :) Ps. as much as I love cats & doggos, I am very sadly allergic so am looking for a place without indoor pets!
Currently looking for a place to live or some roommates around Paddington, Rosalie, Milton or Red Hill as my current roommate is off on a new adventure. I’m a honest and hardworking individual. I am usually busy where I work full time in the CBD, and volunteer for a young professional association. When I'm not at work I like to socialise over a glass of wine, but I also sometimes keep to myself. I am a morning person who likes the outdoors and being active. I often go for a walk or to the gym, and I try* to keep a healthy lifestyle. Try being the key word, I'm often swayed by wine, chocolate, icecream and burgers. I like dogs, but I've never owned one, and I'm allergic to cats.
Hey there! I recently came back from travelling around South America for 7 months and now have a full-time job in the CBD. Looking for a place with easy access to the city to settle down for the next 6 to 12 months. I'm pretty friendly and relaxed to live with. I like to keep things clean and tidy. In the week I'm quiet and like to get home, have a chat about my day, cook dinner and watch a movie or whatever. On the weekend I'm more social and like to go out for drinks or sometimes have people over. Not a huge party animal though. The rest of the time I'll be at work, gym, bike riding, studying or reading. Looking to move in at the beginning of September. So if you would like to team up to get an apartment together or if you are looking for a new flatmate send me a message ;)
I'm quiet and respectful. I work in the city Mon to Fri then spend weekends at my parents house. I enjoy some socialising with house mates and would like to live with like minded people. Ideally mid twenties, young professionals who enjoy a glass of wine!
Update: thanks to all those that have messaged so far. Unfortunately I am not a dentist just yet so the max I could pay p/w including bills is $180. Thanks for understanding. Hello there! My name is Evelyn and I am Dentistry student :). I graduate at the end of the year after a hard 6 years :). Light at the end of the tunnel. I use to be a Speech Pathologist and decided to take the leap and change careers. I would like to think I am healthy and train powerlifting style :). I enjoy music and art. Respectful of space but also enjoy a chat, dinner, a glass of wine etc. Most likely am tucked away in bed by 10:30pm :p. I like to keep things tidy too! :) Anything more, feel free to ask :). E.
Hey guys! Our house mate is sadly leaving us so we are on the hunt for another roomie. The unit is in Red Hill so if you are interested then get in touch. We are friendly and chilled out and enjoy our alone time but are always up for a chat/drink. Margy is working full time and I am am studying full time and working casually. If you are interested please get in touch :) Margy and Ellie
I'm Chelsea, 30 years old, currently working full time as a barista in Red hill. I do intend to study mid September in digital media 2 days a week but go part time with work and keep 28 hours set each week. I'm from Melbourne originally but I've been living in the Paddington area a few years now and just returned a few months ago from traveling overseas in uk to live with family. You will find me spending most days during the week reading, cooking, watching Netflix, gardening, at my pottery class or doing some kind of exercise. On the weekends I visit friends or have a few quiet drinks with a movie or listen to music at home. If I have a few days off ill take off in the van for an overnight stay at the beach in and around Brisbane. In terms of the vibe of the house, I prefer to live in a home environment so I try to build relationships with my housemates rather than feel I live with strangers. Saying that i am very respectful of boundaries and understand we all need our time to ourselves. I don't have much in terms of belongings, to be honest I've been staying in my van mostly and keep my things in there with me while staying with friends. I'm very easy going, I'm normally pretty playful & love to have a laugh. I'm respectful and responsible and treat others how I like to be treated. I have a solid history of paying bills and rent on time. Also an animal lover, pets are a bonus :) Feel free to contact me anytime. Kind regards
