Email: firstname.lastname@example.org I'm very tidy, very clean, and I love to have a relaxed chat over a cup of tea. I spend most of my time studying but I'm also a keen gardener, I love op-shopping and sewing and I love reading and listening to podcasts. I'm respectful of others' need for a safe, relaxed, comfortable place to call home and I expect the same of others.
Hey! I am a 31 year old, single, QUT student in my second last year of study (its been a long 8 years) I am studying my Bachelor of Education at the moment. I am into psychology, sociology, political sciences, science, environment, etc. I am passionate about quality food and love home cooking (if there is a markets nearby lets go!). I am fairly quiet, possibly an extrovert but I love spending time being peaceful and relaxed. I clean up after myself and enjoy keeping a tidy space, I can be a bit of a homebody but also like getting out to a gig, or a park. I am looking for a relaxing chilled old Queenslander with enough space to fit a queen double and a large desk. Other than that I don't have anything to store. Looking to live with students, and happy to live with younger people, just looking for somewhere chill to get this degree done with.
I'm keen for a chat and sharing the odd dinner but otherwise pretty introverted. Currently working at a health food store in New Farm and looking to study in July. I love reading and spend most days off at the beach, I really enjoy being active outside and running. I'm into mostly plant based meals (I still eat eggs and Fish) and cooking at home.
Hello there, My girlfriend Ana and I are interested in moving into a lovely house (apologies, no apartments, or townhouses) with another couple, couple of friends or an individual person. We both work full-time, Ana as a psychologist and myself in carpentry. We think we're pretty clean and tidy--Ana tells me that she thinks I have an admirable level of OCD when it comes to cleaning :P We enjoy having a friend or two over to catch up over tea, cake, drinks and other delicious foods that we enjoy cooking up together. We think we're also fairly considerate of noise/ others, and try to be mindful of others when they're home. I often camp at the coast every other weekend. We're fairly flexible when it comes to socialising--we enjoy a bit of banter, enjoy the occasional D&M but also respect that sometimes, we all just need our own space. We come with furniture too, the usual bedroom gear for us, and also a couch, washing machine, potentially a fridge and a number of indoor plants. We're ideally looking for an abode around the Milton, Paddington, Bardon sort of locale or nearby areas. And, we're *especially* interested in one of these options: a) Splitting the cost of a decent sized house with 3-4 bedrooms four way with another couple, or a couple of friends :) Ana does a bit of home office from time to time, so she requires a study; b) Occupying a granny flat by ourselves. But are open to other ideas too :) Feel free to contact myself on 0488 959 559 if you're interested to meet to see if we might be a good fit.
This beautiful old Queenslander is located just minutes from the city. It is on a quiet street, and close to local amenities. The house itself has a lovely charm and great views over the back yard from the wrap around verandah. We are located a short drive or bus ride to the city, or for the superfit a 40 Min walk. I have been in this property for 6 years and absolutely love the location and current housemates. This bedroom is extra large. It has room for a large bed, furniture like a desk and has windows and a ceiling fan. The property does not allow pets and is for single tenancy only. Along with the room you will also have a carport carpark off street. We are looking for someone who is friendly, considerate and drama free. This person should be happy to share cleaning responsibilities and pay bills on time. Both housemates are vegetarian but if you are not, that's okay. 😜 our current house mate isn't too. The room will be available from Saturday 23rd Feb.
My partner, Philipp and I have recently moved to Brisbane. I am Australian, an artist, have my own business and work casually in the Children's Services Industry. Philipp is German, a qualified Environmental and Energy Engineer and is currently working full time while looking to transition into employment to reflect his qualifications. We are both vegan, non-smoker's, leading a healthy lifestyle. We are super friendly and easy to get along with, so we often like to have a chat and hang out but are respectful of others and their need for privacy. We also are fastidious in the cleanliness of common areas. Our weekends are spent mostly exploring the outdoors and I spend part of my time working out of my family's home when I'm creating art pieces. We are looking for a room with it's own bathroom. Stay is flexible and likely to be around two months.
The house is real cool.. Its got about 4 levels and has a sick little layout. There's an ensuit in the available room, high ceilings, amazing views over paddington and red hill. The kitchen, a second bathroom, laundry and dining area are down a level. There's another level which is like a little den. There's a fire place, book shelf, A/C and some more beautiful views, including the pool which is out on the back deck.
The rooms are on the bottom level of our 3 storey townhouse. It has a room with an ensuite attached and small balcony and this level also comes with a large extra room (next to the bedroom) which could be used as your own private living room, another bedroom, a study or just for storage. You would share the kitchen & laundry on the second floor with us & our bedroom is on the third floor at the top of the house, so we each have our own privacy & space. We have all of the usual appliances in the kitchen & laundry. The price is $300 for the bottom level plus bills (electricity & internet). No bills for gas or water. The location of the house is very central. We are very close to public transport, Woolworths & plenty of shops, bars & cafes.
Hi I am Eva, 31 year-old from the Czech Republic. I am looking for a job in Brisbane at the moment. I am not a party person, I am quiet, clean, tidy. I am bit shy but after some time I am very friendly and fun:) I enjoy travelling, exploring new places, theatre, photography.
Howdy! Looking for a joint within half an hour's transport/ride from UQ. I'm looking for a friendly place where people aren't in their rooms all day and are happy to have a chat! Also where people feel comfortable bringing around their friends, having a few mates over on the weekend for some bevvies and having a chat with other people's friends, as long as people aren't in and out the door all day every day and are respectful when others want to sleep :) I work 3 jobs and am studying Economics/Arts at uni (hooiips of fun), so I'm away during most days, only really home at night time and on weekends. I'm a musician (guitar and vocals) so love a good kumbaya and practice generally a few hours every couple of days, but I'm respectful when others have to sleep. Flexible move out date because I'm currently at home, but happy to move out ASAP :)
We've got a room for rent in our big 4 bedroom house in Red Hill. Close to Paddington and just 3km from the city! There's 2 bus stops at the top of the road going straight to the city, the best coffee shop and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The house is 2 storeys, with a large kitchen and dining room, an airy living room which opens out onto a private front deck, the room and laundry downstairs. The house is at the bottom of a quiet street off Waterworks Rd, with a beautiful leafy outlook. We also have unlimited TPG wifi connected. The bedroom comes unfurnished. Measuring 2.5 x 3 meters, it's on the first floor away from the rest of the living areas so has a lot of privacy. You'll be sharing the large main bathroom with 2 other flatmates. Rent for the room is $195per week which covers all utilities and bills Bond $600

Room in a house - Share a cute wooden house in a quiet cul-de-sac street, with only one other person (a busy professional, male 35, n/s, d/f.). - Queen Sized room (unfurnished) with large built-ins (pictured) and leafy outlook. Approx size 4x3.5m. - House is fully equipped, you only need to bring your bed and bedroom effects. You can bring more if you want, discuss. - Your bathroom is the house bathroom, however I have an ensuite don’t use it so you won’t have to share it day to day. - Furnished lounge-room, but rarely used. - Lounge-room, dining and kitchen is open plan. - Dining, lounge and kitchen has access to the same air-conditioner. - Storage available, two wooden pallets of space. More on discussion. Needs to be on pallets as small risk of surface water under house. - The modern kitchen has a halogen stove and dishwasher. - Back deck is for your use. My intention is you prefer to hang out there than in the loungeroom. Loungeroom is adjacent to my room so that will make noise to me. House can roughly be cut in half with kitchen shared – you get the back, I get the front. - Lots of possums and birdsong in area. Some bush turkeys. Some possums on the roof sometimes. b. It can be used as a guest room with notice, otherwise I do my ironing there. - I’m not that difficult to get one with. If you keep to yourself, don’t cause fuss and mess, we’ll get on great. If we only occasionally see each other in the kitchen or coming and going and otherwise hardly speak to each other for a week or two or more, that’s fine by me, I’m busy with my own life. - You could have a BF/GF visit 1-3 nights a week. I'm a pretty outgoing kind of guy looking for a potential place to live. I have pretty varied interests and love to spend my time either hanging with Friends, watching Netflix, riding my motorbike or baking. My 2 fav possessions are my motorbike and my KitchenAid haha. I work for the government which sounds boring but I like to think I bring a bit of life to the place. I guess I'm looking for a place I can feel at home and housemates that I can chill with, and also understand that need for personal space. Im past my crazy party days but would love to have a Friday Arvo beer or so. If you think I'd fit in, gimme a shout! 😁
My name is Patricia Aguirre Hernández and I am 38 years old, I am from Colombia. I have been living in Brisbane for 6 months and I am studying English. Actually, I am working as Au Pair, but I need my own space. I have a very independent personality. In my free time I like to exercise, go to the gym and skating, also reading romantic novels, painting mandalas, going for a walk and having coffee with friends. I am passionate and committed; oriented to people, relationships and goals, I work constantly to show the world and myself that I can achieve what I set out to do. It is also important for me, in this trip "the English only policy", this will help to fulfill my goal
