There is a washing machine in the garage and there is space to dry clothes out of the rain.
Hi my name is Luke I'm a 29 year old single sales rep. I have lived in many share houses all over Australia due to travelling a lot with my last job. I love animals and will happily take on any future housemates pets as my own. I keep it pretty tame during the week and don't mind having the odd big weekend every now and then. I'm very social and easy to get along with. I'm looking for people similar to me and definitely will not get along with uptight people with too many Rules. Feel free to message me if you have any questions 😎
This property is 1 km from the Reservoir Train Station. There are plenty of shopping options (Coles is about 5 mins away) , a hospital, leisure center, plenty of restaurants and more all in a 2-3 km radius. La Trobe University is 5 km away. The entire house is furnished, fully equipped kitchen with washing facilities.
Hi Everyone! In mid/late-September 2018, my housemates and I will end our lease together on what has been an awesome home in the heart of Preston. While we’re all moving in different directions, I’m looking to stick around either the Inner North/Northside up to Reservoir, or somewhere close-ish to Carlton/Parkville with the hope of securing a private room with some quality like-minded people in a shared home. I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Unimelb researching medication to manage behaviour in health settings, and I also work there part-time on a variety of research projects relating to mental health and the law. Additionally, I produce electronic music (with headphones on mostly) and very occasionally throw down a few tracks here and there in darkened clubs and festivals around the place. In a home, I look for a warm, friendly, respectful vibe with open communication and value people who generally care about the world and themselves. A bit more about me: 39, male, non-smoker, creative, LGBTQIA+ friendly, tidy, introverted-ambivert (i.e. social, yet values alone-time), and mellow. Interests: music, foreign/indie films with a touch of sci-fi, health & well-being, cooking, gardening, bicycles, art/design generally. I don’t have any pets, but I think dogs and other animal companions are ace. Thanks for reading and good luck with your searches!

What's great is the huge kitchen and massive Gas stove, almost a professional size. The large outdoor areas, both undercover and grassed. The vegetable patch. The big parklands across the road, you can run or walk for k'm's. THe house has lovely garden front and Back and a gardener that comes to maintain. This house is awesome as there is so much space, kitchen/dining area is separate from living large living room and large outdoor undercover areas at side and back of house so there is always somewhere to be to read or chill. Usually we hang with each other in the kitchen. Ha! A short bus trip or a cycle to Northland where all shops and cinema are. Bundoora Universities are a short bus ride. The 69 tram to fitzroy is about a 10 min walk or Reservoir station is a short bus ride or about 1km.
We are two professional Biologists, tidy, clean and useful around a house! Respectful of other peoples spaces but we are friendly, always happy to chat and share the occasional meal! We don't organise parties and would prefer a quiet place. We both enjoy getting out for a run or a hike and are pretty busy in general. Our length of stay is flexible. We are moving from NZ for work at La Trobe uni and will be free to view rooms from 15/8, and able to move in on the 27th August. I am a kiwi, joining my partner for full time work in Melbourne. I like to cook, and dabble in art and music. I try to be environmentally conscious, but, I definitely eat meat! Bacon is too delicious. I’m not a drinker as such but will have a glass of wine or beer with dinner on occasion. I love animals and enjoy chatting to people! Francesco is originally from Italy (north) but has lived in NZ for the past 4 years. He has a job as an entomologist (insects) at La Trobe uni. He is passionate about coffee and makes a good pizza. He also loves animals. He is a very organised person and great to have around a house! We both have rental references and have shared happily with others both independently and as a couple. Cheers!
I'm a 20 year old art student, working part time in hospitality. I'm quite easy going and love to have fun whether it be going out drinking and dancing or staying in watching movies and playing board games. I'd like to live in a home where we're not just roommates but friends! I like cooking and would love to have sit down dinners together now and again. I can also be a bit shy and timid though and like my alone time :p I'm looking to move out sometime in September definitely before the 20th.

Your room is at the back and with a hallway door we could easily close off half the house for more privacy when needed, which would give you bathroom and kitchen access without us even bothering you. We have the front room off the lounge so can keep to ourselves unless we need to go through to the back of course. Other than that we just live by mutual respect and have a very friendly atmosphere here.
